"Have you heard anything, Remus? Please! I need to know if my children are safe!" Molly Weasley sobbed. She was gripping Remus' cloak as if it were her last hope.

"Amanda has Ron and Hermione. No word on Ginny, though." Remus finished, sadly.

Molly looked as if she was about to pass out. She was happy that Ron was okay, but this was the second time that Ginny's safety hung in the balance. Ginny, her only daughter and youngest child, out there on her own, with no one to protect her. The thought drove Molly crazy. She ran out of the dining room, up the stairs, and slammed her room door. She sank to the floor and buried her face in her knees.

Remus felt terrible. Not only did he see Ginny get away, but he also had to deliver that news to Molly. He had never seen her look so broken. And Sirius. Sirius was in a right state. These children had no idea what they were doing. Harry ran away. Ron and Hermione went after him. Ginny went after all three of them. Four underage children were on the run, with dark, grown dangerous wizards chasing after them. Now that Ron and Hermione were safe, he worried for Harry and Ginny. Harry had the looming threat of Voldemort, and the dark wizarding world was nowhere for little Ginny to be, on her own.

Azkaban was better than this.

Sirius was beside himself with worry. He was in Buckbeak's room, curled up on the floor. Four children, gone. His godson, his Harry, missing. He was so depressed. Remus walked in.

"Sirius?"

No answer.

"C'mon mate, you being like this isn't going to help Harry when we get him," Remus said.

"Remus, leave me alone".

Remus backed away, his face hardened. "Leave you alone? Leave you alone? You know what happened the last time we left someone alone? He was abused, ran away, and is now missing. Lily and James would not want-"

"DON'T TRY TO TELL ME WHAT LILY AND JAMES WOULD HAVE WANTED! THEY WANTED ME TO BE GODFATHER. THEY WANTED HARRY TO GROW IN A SAFE WIZARDING WORLD! HAS ANY OF THAT HAPPENED? NO! SO LEAVE ME IN PEACE TO WALLOW IN MY FAILURE!"

Remus looked shock. He turned around and walked to the door. In a quiet voice he said, "Whenever you come to your senses, the guard is leaving at noon."

At a quarter to noon, Remus was fixing his robes, and going out to get his broom from the broom shed in the back. As he walked into the shed, he heard the door open again.

"Pass me the Clean sweep will you?"

Remus smiled. "Nice to have you back, Padfoot,"
