Harry awoke to the smell of flowers. Odd. He was in a dungeon, and could only smell flowers. His vision blurred as he quickly sat up.
"Whoa there, Harry. Take it easy."
Harry's vision refocused. A girl had spoken. A girl with rather long hair and a slim figure. She was tiny, but there was something about her that seemed familiar.
"Are you alright? What happened to you? Why are you here? Ron and Hermione were worried sick!"
"Ginny?!" What on earth are you doing here?"
"I asked first," she said with a small smile.
Harry proceeded to tell her about the Dursleys and his whole story. She listened, quietly. When he finished, he asked her again.
"Ginny, how are you here?"
"Well," she began, "I ran away. I saw Ron and Hermione leaving, and I wanted to come with them, but I knew Ron would never allow it. So I waited and followed them. I never found them though. The Order knows I'm here though. Remus almost caught me on the way out."
"You ran away? Are you insane? You could've been killed!"
"Yes, Dad." She scowled. Harry scowled back.
"Look, it was brave of you to try and help out your brother and Hermioneā¦but do you imagine what your Mum must be going through? Her only daughter, missing, and her youngest son, also missing."
Ginny sighed. "I know it was stupid, but I'm old enough to defend myself now. I wasn't going to stand around while everyone sat there and worried."
Harry looked at her. She was right in a sense. He would've done the same. It was strange. Ginny Weasley was growing into a strong young lady. The thought made Harry blush. He was glad it was dark in the little room.
Suddenly, the door opened behind them. Two men came in and dragged Harry out, while Ginny shrieked and fought the men. She was shoved back into the wall.
She knew no more.
When Ron and Hermione awoke, they were lying across from each other in a familiar room.
They were back in Grimmauld Place. They exchanged worried glances and then turned to the door that was opening.
Molly Weasley was standing in the doorway.
"WHAT ON EARTH WERE YOU TWO THINKING? YOU HAD ME WORRIED SICK! YOU COULD HAVE DIED OR BEEN TORTURED! NEVER, IN MY LIFE, HAVE I BEEN SO WORRIED! NOT EVEN WHEN GINNY GOT TAKEN-
Here, she stopped, and started crying. Ron jumped out of his bed to go and hug her but she held him off.
"You two have done enough. You've made poor decisions often enough," she said, as she ran out of the room.
Ron looked crestfallen. Hermione touched his shoulder. She felt little and disappointed. They were here, Harry was still missing, and now Ginny was gone too. They had accomplished nothing.
Suddenly, there was a loud pop. The twins were suddenly standing in front of them.
"Dearest brother, we heard about your-"
"Not now, Fred. Please."
"We only came to tell you that there's another Order meeting tonight. If you want, you can use the Extendable Ears."
"It's not worth it. Mum blames me for Ginny. Harry's still gone. I endangered Hermione by letting her come along."
"Now wait just a minute Ronald-"
"Oh c'mon you two! Are you seriously trying to tell me that you're not going to complete this mission? The trio of trouble, give up? Yeah sure, you're down a member, but you can still do it! C'mon, use the Ears! Find Harry and our dear baby sister." George finished. He threw the ears on the bed, and disapparated out of the room.
