~Ally's pov~
***Chapter 5***
"Let's go!" the guy all but yells at me. I feel Austin take step a forward as I take a step back, so his stomach his pressed agenst my
back.
"Back off dude! She's scared!" Austin says gripping my shoulder.
"Austin, I can't. I'm just gonna go back down the stairs." I say turning to leave, I run straight into him.
"No. You're going down that slide."
"No! Austin! Please!" I protest. Austin bends down so we're face-to-face.
"Will you go down with me?" he asks, I nod hesitantly. "Okay." he says kissing the top of my head. "Patrick! Dan! Switch with Ally
and me!" he says.
"Ally and I" I correct.
"Yeah, Ally and I." he says handing patrick over our single tubes and grabbing the double tube from them. "Thanks!" he says quickly
putting the tube into the water at the top of the slide. I stand there staring at him as he gets in the back opening of the tube
leaving me to sit inbetween his legs and at the front. "Get in... I'm here, I won't let him-" he says pointing at the teenage guy across
from me. "hurt you." I get in and sit between his legs in the front of the tube. "You'll be fine." he whispers. "Just keep your mouth
closed."
"Why?" I ask. Austin wraps his arms around me and pulls me back, leaning into him.
"There might be pee in the pool." he states simply.
"Ew!" I screech. "A-austin?" I ask hesitently.
"Yes, Als?"
"I'm scared." I say holding tightly onto his hands. He gives my hands a light squeeze silently saying 'It's okay.'
"I'm here for you Ally. Just lean back, hold my hands, and don't look down." he says. I take one more deep breath.
"you ready now?" the guy asks rudely.
"Yeah." Austin says most likely rolling his eyes. And with that the guy pushes the tube to the mouth of the slide and we start to go
down the slide. Darkness is all around us.
"AHH!" I scream. I can hear Austin chuckling.
"Ally you're fine!" he says. I would look back at him but instead I turn my head to the side, closing my eyes tightly.
"I hate the dark!" I say as water hits me in the face. He must look down at me cause he says...
"Open your eyes." while hugging me closely. "And Ally, I'm here nothing can get you." I open my eyes and clutch onto his arm.
Quickly we hit the bottom of the slide plunging into the lazy river and thats where Austin directs us.
"Thank you." I whisper still holding onto his hand tightly. I can feel him kiss the top of my ear, then whisper...
"Anytime"
~Austin's pov~
What the fuck was that?! Oh god she's gonna hate me! I can see the blush on her cheeks and I can feel mine burning. Before I lay
back again I whisper in her ear. "Wanna go down the slide again?" she hesitates before answering.
"Only if you'll go with me." she says.
"Alright. Later." I say pulling her back while laying back against me. I hear my sister and Sam 'Awe' and I can hear the click of the
camera... here we go again.
