~Ally's Pov~
***Chapter 6***
I lean back, making myself fall back, onto the fake, hard grass. Emma lays beside me, it's silent and peaceful for a while. Until she breaks it.
"Ally?' she asks. I turn my head towards her, my right cheek pressed into the hard, prickly, fake grass.
"Yes?" I ask, she flips onto her side quickly and we look each other in the eyes. It's silent again for about a minute before she takes a deep breath and says...
"Why my brother? Why Austin?" I stare at her confused. *Wow Austin and Em have the same eyes.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, why did you forgive him for accidentally stealing your song? Why did you become his best-friend? Why did you two become partners and why do you love him?" I'm speechless.
"Okay, I forgave him because our fathers said the same thing. That we had a billion to one chance at making it." I let out a laugh. "Plus he gave some good reasons. 'You're a song writer who hates to preform and I'm a singer who loves being on stage! We're the perfect match!' the best friend thing just kinda slid into place. It was like we were supposed to meet and become best friends! I wasn't so afraid to preform in front of him and it made things easier. I'm not sure, and for the love thing... you can't really choose who you fall in love with. I mean, look at Dallas! He cheated on me since the beginning and I still loved him. After he cheated and I found out he still tried to get into my pants. I swear that kid has an STD." we laugh. "But back to Austin, he's just different."
"Yeah like special in the head different, and by 'special' I mean fucked up."
"No, well he does act like a little kid sometimes but he really is special. He saved me multiple times and most of the times he did, he didn't even know he did it. I also get this feeling when we talk, like butterflies are in my stomach and I'm going to puke. When he smiles I can't help but smile back. He makes my heart beat a mile a minute. I just, love him." I say with a smile plastered on my face and my cheeks are bright red.
"Ummm, Ally?" Shit! Austin! What did he hear?! I sit up quickly.
"Austin!" I say quickly smiling up at him. "Uh.. do you want to go in the wave pool?"
"Sure!" I'm about to stand up when he sticks out his hands.
"Here, let me help you." I put my hands in his and he pulls me up off the rough ground. I look back at Em once he starts to walk away and I give her a panicked look. I mouth the words 'help me' and she laughs. "Ally!" Austin calls back, I quickly turn to face him. "Are you coming?" I nod and look back at Em and give her a frightened look before walking over to Austin. We walk in silence over to the wave pool and the clock above the wave pool- the one to tell you how much time you have left till the next wave 'session' and how long till it ends reads '5:22' and it's counting down.
"Come on!" I say, trying to act like my normal self, pulling Austin towards the wave pool.
~Austin's Pov~
"It's okay, Als. Go ahead, I'll be right there." Her happy face drops and she nods before walking to the wave pool by herself. I watch her walk over to our friends and I turn when I feel a hand on my shoulder. It's Dez. I look back at Ally and our friends and when she goes under the water I turn back to Dez. "She loves someone else."
