***Chapter 9***

Today Austin is going on his date with Cassidy. I sit on my bed drawing and colouring, I shade in the flower that I have just drawn and my pencil breaks. I sharpen it and as I do I watch the blade in the sharpener peal off layers of wood and slowly the pencil gets sharper. I get up and dump the pencil shavings in the garbage can in my room. I'm home alone, Liz is at her best friends house for a sleep over and dad is away at a convention. I stare at the sharpener, my palms get sweaty and my heart speeds up. The next song on my playlist plays loudly through the docking station and I quickly drop the sharpener and run downstairs to the basement. I go to the tool room and grab a few different screw drivers, I go to the main floor and into the kitchen where I grab a shitty bowl. I take the things upstairs to my room and put them on my desk. I go to the bathroom beside my bedroom and grab the peroxide and grab a shitty face cloth. I go back into my bedroom and close the door, I grab a new pencil sharpener and grab the right screw driver and take out the blades. I unscrew the cap of the peroxide and pour some of it into the bowl and drop the blades in. I take the face cloth and unfold it, I see the old blood stained into the cloth and I shut my eyes tightly. I throw the face cloth on to my desk and get up and change into yoga pants and a pink tank top with a lace design on the back.I quickly change out of my pjs and into my clothes and I put on socks. I put my hair up in a ponytail and I run downstairs and put on my shoes. I grab my phone, keys and wallet. I leave and lock up, I run to the car and get in quickly buckle up and turn on the engine. I throw the car in reverse and back out of the drive way, I quickly put the car in drive and head to the theatre. When I get there I park and walk into the theatre. I look around looking for my blonde haired best friend. What the hell are you doing Ally? What are you going to do now that you're here? Tell him you're in love with him?I shake the thoughts out of my head. I go upstairs into the lounge area and I see them sitting together. His back is to me and Cassidy sees me. She kisses him passionately on the lips. I clear my throat when Austin pulls her close and puts his hand in her hair. He pulls away and looks at me. My vision goes blurry and I whisper "Sorry" before turning around and leaving. I run to the car and drive home as fast as I could for not being able to see clearly. When I get home I run right upstairs to my room and start to strip. I shut the door and grab the blades going over to stand in front of my full body mirror. I grab one of the blades and take it to the fatty flesh on my thigh. I push fairly deep and drag it along the skin. There is a small amount of pain and I see the creamy white skin fill up with my crimson blood. I do this repeatedly and when I've run out of space I switch to the other leg. When I've run out of space there I go to my hips. I drop the blade and sink to the ground as I watch my blood roll down my body. I sit sobbing and shaking on the floor.
