Hello everyone, and welcome to Brothers of Dark Blood Chapter Five. This chapter, I think, will be a nice one, t'will bring the brothers slightly closer to one another, But that is all I shall say...
Now, I'm going to be blunt about this: This chapter is incomplete. It's about half way done, with about 200 more words needed to finish it. But, as it's been such a long time and I've been so a lot of different things; I decided to post it as it is now. I apologise to all who have waited, and hope that this will make up for it.
Please tell me what you think of the chapter thus far, and let me know if you think I should make any changes to it. Enjoy and review!

Chapter Five: Tying up Loose Ends
There is always a time in someones life where they are with someone they cared about but cannot say anything. Like their words were stuck in their throats and they couldn't, no matter how hard they tried, get them out. Well, unbelievably, that such situation was happening to D and Alucard right now but they had a reason for it.
The forest was lush and green but its trees were not as tall as the one where D had learned of Alucard, the wind gave low howls as it passed through the many holes and openings in the trees and then flew off into the unknown world that was the Frontier.
Both brothers' horses were now just calmly watching their masters fight against a small pack of Tree Goblins, their reins tied to a tree. So, what is a Tree Goblin? Tree Goblins are small green humanoid creatures that usually hunt in small pacts. They are only up to a man's knee height and have a mouth full of sharp teeth so that is nothing to worry about too much but the fact that they hunt in small pacts (usually ten in total) and when they bite their victims they tend to rip out huge chunks of flesh until their victims would bleed to death, so that was the only thing to fear of them really.
In the rank of hunters who would number their prey, Tree Goblins would rank right at the bottom of the list; they were more like parasites than they were creatures of the night.
And of course, D and Alucard were fighting them off, which were proving to be quite hard due to the speed of the Goblins. But had there been anyone else there they would have been more afraid by another certain fact: it was night. On the Frontier, nothing was considered more dangerous than a journey through the night. Claiming the night as their world, the Nobility had littered the globe with monsters and creatures of legend, as if to touch the pitch-black darkness with a deadly beauty. Those same repugnant creatures, like the Tree Goblins, run rampant in the darkness to this very day. That's how the vampires gains such fear and power over the ten thousand years since they destroy human culture with the WOMDs, that's why the light of day was so important to hunters, to take action during the day and to take rest during the night.
Without the fear of death, the loss of a love one or worse—
That's why the night was filled to the brim with such menace and fear. The wind would linger with the moans of demons and the darkness would whisper with threats of soul-stealing beasts.
But this wasn't a problem if you were a hunter with wills of steel, or a Dhampir, and Alucard and D has wills as strong as Diamonds.
They dogged their gaping jaws and slashed them down to oblivion with their naked steels or, as Alucard saw, with some kind on needles. The two Dhampirs had finally killed off the final Tree Goblins, it took approximately fifthteen minutes for them to kill all the goblins but with their power the job was easily done.
D flicked the blood and gore off of his blade with a mere twist of his hand and looked back to his cyborg horse, which was standing peacefully by his brother's horse, and was about to head to it when he heard the sound of footsteps growing fainter. D turned his head to look over his shoulder and saw Alucard kneeling on the ground in front of a dead Tree Goblin.
This would almost look like the fair Dhampir was praying but in actual fact he was examining the work of his younger brother, he gaze was locked on a foot-long object that was impaled in the Tree Goblin's chest. He reached down and he gently pulled the object out of the creature's chest and took a closer look.
The object was just a wooden stake; D threw the object at speeds that no human could possibly see and only few vampires could notice. Alucard, though, could see the stake in a way that a human would see an arrow fly. Although made of wood, the stake at high speed could easily kill a lesser dragon with the right aim.
D realised what his brother was doing &, although it would go unseen, shrugged slightly. "They're my side weapons. I use them so I don't have to draw my sword at a time when it would slow me down."
Alucard nodded to show that he understood but then it brought a question to his mind, a small curious question. He got to his feet, turned to D and asked "if you don't mind my asking: your sword—" with a slight nod of his head he gestured to D's sword, which was resting in his right hand, "what type of sword is it?" Alucard asked.
It had been thirteen hours since Alucard and D had meet and, needless to say, Alucard was not rather please with how things had played out. Not just for them, but for everything in general. After only spending three months in this world since he awoke in the beginning of the year, Alucard's knowledge on the world was very short.
Everything was so different, yet so familiar all at once.
The technological advances, which hadn't even begun when he had gone back to his slumber, were now so far advanced that they often astounded him. The cyber horses were just one example. The various guns and riding vehicles he glimpsed from a distance and D, in a surprisingly helpfully manner, described were even more so.
He was even more stupefied to find that these things were only remnants of the highly advanced society this desolate planet once held. Although he had seen what happen to the word from within his slumber, as the curse made him aware to the entire world around him like it was a dream, D gave Alucard a more in-depth explanation, which only made Alucard wonder where D had acquired such knowledge.
The world had turned inside out and upside down, leaving Alucard the feeling that he had come in on the latter end of a book series after only perusing the first novel twelve books ago.
But, despite all this change, it did not stop Alucard from trying to get close to D but so far he had only learn a few things about his younger brother, like the following: he was quiet, had his secrets and, or at least Alucard guessed, he did not know how to act on his feelings.
But he was going to change that, as both older brother and family.
D was slightly taken off guard by the small question; it was one he did not expect from brother. It was an innocent yet strange question at the same time. He looked down at his sword, it was one of the oldest things he had on his person, most people who had seen it would know well that the blade made cuts faster than the human eye could ever wish to follow. Its design was unique to say the least, it was one that D had not seen another of in his long travels.
He then answered his older brother's question, but did not look up at him when saying it, "it's a mix of a sword. It's a cross between a European Longsword and a Japanese Katana."
Alucard's lips formed a slight smile, he was glad to see his brother trusting him a bit more that he did when they met each other. But then another question crossed his mind, another small one but one he wanted to ask anyway, "And where did you get this weapon from?" D gave no answer to this and Alucard had to hold himself from groaning. Ok so maybe D didn't trust Alucard completely but they were getting there, slowly but surely.
But Alucard did know another thing, a reason why D was not open with himself: there was always good reasons to keep secrets, and D must have had a great reason.
Removing the reins of their horses, which clung to the tree, D gently pulled his cyborg horse towards him and Alucard's horse went to him, seemingly trying to get away from D. This, though, was not an uncommon thing for animals to do. Animals have higher sense of smell than humans so they know when a dangerous threat is close to them, in the past, many animals have shown strange and unusual behaviour when in the presence of D, they would act scared or obey commons much easier or quicker than usual.
And of course, the reason would always be D, or another Dhampir.
Mounting on their horses, the two brothers begun made their way to a destination unknown, or was to Alucard anyway. In the hours they had been together, D had not informed Alucard of where they were going but Alucard trusted D so he allowed himself to be the one who knew the least, which was an odd thing to feel to say the least.
Alucard had always been the one in charge, the one who knew everything, the—chess master if you would, but that same master had also been silent and emotionless but this was no longer Alucard's game, his role as the chess master had ended and it was now D's game, a whole new game, and Alucard decided to play by his brother's rules and see how it played out.
They rode in silence for some time after that, it was actually rather uncomfortable for Alucard as he was not really expecting this. It was rather ironic that a Dhampir would be so uneasy to the silence to of another Dhampir, as that is how they tended to be.
But Alucard found slight relief when D finally said, as if he had answered his brother's unspoken question, "that way," he pointing to the north "lies Dermor, the Tengoku city. It is one of the few places considered a proper city. It is about another day's ride from here, it is where we're going to find some work."
Cities were very rare on the Frontier, as now many of the areas to find people were mainly rural areas as there could never be enough money to get technology like that of the Capital, unless of course there was an abandoned Nobility castle laying around with still functioning technology but even they were hard to come by.
Dermor was, indeed, consider to be one of the last few remaining cites on the Frontier.
Alucard's cyber horse stopped moving and D could feel the air around them grow with tense, "I...I don't think I could" Alucard forced out, sounding troubled, "it's...it has been too long since I have been around a large number of humans—" he trailed off and a shuddering breath escaped him. D looked back at his brother and saw the reason for this, as well as the change in the area. Nothing had changed except that the midnight wind, which was usually calm and placid, had unexpectedly grown wilder and D saw something with a faint but brilliant red light.
Alucard's eyes.
"Then how did you stand being around Doris and Dan?" D asked, his tone was calm as ever but Alucard could hear the slight trace of suspicion in his voice.
To answer, Alucard snorted incredulity and said "after four hundred and eighty years of practise, that and being in a coffin for ten thousand two hundred and ninety eight years helped to it" his tone held slight amusement in it but it was barely noticeable, even to D.
D's eyes widened slightly out of shock, Alucard—was that old? He already guessed that he came from some ancient time due to his clothing but that number of years—he would have to have fallen asleep at least in the seventeen hundreds! And if his age was four hundred and eighty when he fell into slumber—then he must be about—
"Nine thousand, eight hundred and eighteen" Alucard murmured, as if he knew what D was thinking.
D did not bother asking anymore, he had asked enough as it was anyway. A hunter is hired only for work and to kill whatever creature they are most suited to, it was not their place to pry into their employer's personal life unless it helped towards them finding the creature, and D was most suited to that kind of life; he gave little care for others life.
But—this was different.
This man he was talking to, his brother, was part of his family—could he not pry into his personal life? Could he not see if he and Alucard were conceived in the same way? Could he not see if there was something he could learn about the family he had long moved away from?
There were so many questions, yet so little answers.
Suddenly D heard a yell of pain from Alucard and he quickly turned around to see his brother falling of his horse, there was a black figure behind the horse with blood red eyes.
"Alucard!" D yelled in shock and for a reason he did not understand but he was quickly silenced as something struck him on the back of the head, causing D to give a minor grunt of pain and he fell to the ground off his horse, which gave a cry of fear as he did so. When D hit the ground he saw his brother, lying face first on the ground with his white-blond hair everywhere, and more black figures fall to the ground as the darkness swallowed his vision—
D stood alone in a world of white, unable to move for some reason, all around him was the sound of dripping water and—the sound of—a child giggling—
Find strength from some unknown source D turned and saw a beautiful woman, cradling a five year old child in her arms, was sitting in a chair she rocked her child in her arms in some kind of room. It was raining outside, the source of the dripping sound.
The woman was a fair one, she seemed to be in her mid-twenties at least, had long hair as black as D's and it cause her face to be covered by it, so the hunter could not make out her identity. The child, whose face could not be seen properly as he placed his face farther into his mother's chest, also had long black hair that just met the top of his stubby back.
There was—something familiar about the boy—
The woman chuckled "now darling, calm down, there's no need to be so excited" she said lightly "it's only the rain..." her voice was familiar and it caused D to stiffen like a rock.
He'd know that voice anywhere.
Then, as if she could sense D's presence, the woman looked up at D and her face became visible to the Dhampir. Then—D gasped, his composer broke slightly, it echoed throughout the room as it was a face that he hadn't seen in a long time—a face he had seen only briefly a few months ago—
It was his—
"Wakey-wakey, D!" a mocking voice broke through the world, cutting it like a blade that ran cleanly through flesh, and D's eyes immediately opened "oh, what's up? Do you need me to call ya daddy?"
D did not look up to see the person who owned the voice, the voice itself was far too familiar "Louis..." he muttered, his face still facing the ground and a pair of legs—
"Ah, you remember me..." Louis's voice had not appreciation in it "I'm touched!" the voice spat venomously.
This time, D looked up and saw none other than the Noble Louis Merrick, who had a deep scowl on his face and his hands on his hips. D moved his body forwards only slightly but when he did a flare of pain entered from his abdomen and torso, glancing at his chest he saw that he was tied to a tree with what appeared to be dragon hunter barbed wire.
Dragon hunters would use barbed wire as traps to get dragons of all classes, from the lower classes to the higher classes, and the legends have it that if anything gets caught in the barbed wire it is near impossible to get out of it, unless they have the wish for an agonizing death.
So far, only a few of the one inch long points had entered D's chest and stomach, he suspected that he would have a small series of wounds later on that would most likely heal. D also felt a warm liquid run down the right side of his face; it was most obviously blood from a cut when he fell to the ground.
Just then D realised something – Alucard! – Where was he?
D narrowed his eyes slightly as a mixed feeling of rage and—fear—begun to grown in D chest "Where is Alucard?" D's tone was even, it was that tone that meant that his demand must be met without question.
Louis's face gave birth to a horrific smirk "I knew you knew him" he said smugly "he's right over there..." Louis stepped out of D way and the Dhampir saw that he in a clearing of the forest they were. It was midnight and the full moon gave of white light onto the earth below it that illuminated the green lush trees and bushes. In the centre of the clearing though was Alucard, he was on his knees and a creature was holding his arms behind his back.
There were actually four of these creatures in the area with the Dhampirs and Louis and D could see that they were none other than vampires, each of them were male, had pale countenances and brilliant ruby eyes but their expressions were notably blank.
It was obvious to D that Louis had attacked other people and had made them into these-these—drones, so to speak. When a Noble take the blood of a human they can do either two things: one) they could make the victim a bloodthirsty creature like themselves that could act of their own free will and life how they want but bound to the life of the undead. Or two) they could turn the victim into mindless drones with little free will and they would follow the one who took their mortal lives, like slaves.
And it seemed that Louis had done the latter.
The drones were also armed as well, Louis had obviously stolen from villages or they belong to the drones during their mortal life, it was nothing of pure technological advance. They three of them had bows and arrows and one of them had a crossbow, D was certain however that the arrow heads would be silver or had some special quality that made it deadly to Dhampirs, but that's when D noticed that Louis had a weapon around his back—it was none other than Alucard's sword and its sheath—
"I'm actually glad that you're awake, D" Louis begun to speak, his smirk was still planted over his face, as his sights went to Alucard "in the days after our meeting I searched for the strongest humans to serve me, I took their lives, trained them and now they will serve me in my slaughters" he then looked back at D and said in a dark, menacing tone "but first, I want to make you watch as I kill your companion, just as he killed my brother..." with that, Louis turned and begun walking towards Alucard, not noticing D was desperately trying to get out of the wire with genuine concern in his eyes—
Slowly, Louis unsheathed Alucard sword and held it by the blade. He lifted the upside down blade in the air and sneered at Alucard "wake up, asshole!" the handle of the blade came down hard across Alucard's face, the Dhampir's head rolled to the side and blood spat out of his mouth.
Alucard awoke in pain.
Weakly the older Dhampir raised his head &, through a curtain of his white-blonde hair, he saw his attacker "you—" Alucard said with slightly widen eyes, he was rather shocked as he immediately recognized the vampire's face.
"So you remember me too, eh?" Louis asked, his face slowly contorted into a venomous sneer, "I'm fucking touched!" he spat venomously, repeating his earlier words but with much more venom.
"What are you doing here?" Alucard asked, his tone going cold and emotionless as he tasted blood, his own blood, in his mouth.
Louis gave no response, he just glared at Alucard with unmatchable hatred, so Alucard took the time to gather his surroundings. He notice the clearing, the full moon above them, the other vampires around him and also the one who was holding him in place but the his eyes meet D's own and his heart skipped at beat when he saw what condition he was in.
"D!" Alucard tried to move forward but Louis's minion held him in place, Louis laughed at the half-blood's helplessness.
"What is the meaning of this?!" Alucard demanded, his voice showing a considerable amount of rage. Shocking D, as he didn't expect his brother to show much emotion.
"Oh~ so you can get angry, interesting" Louis mused, slightly intrigued, "to answer your question, Dhampir, the simplest way to answer this is with one mere word..." he paused slightly and then sneered to Alucard with malice "revenge."
Alucard seemed puzzled for a moment but then it hit him, Louis brother. It seemed that one of his previous actions were coming back to haunt him. "I see" Alucard nodded, it was fair that he should pay for killing Louis's brother, but he had one request "but D has nothing to do with this. Let him go" again, D was shocked by Alucard's word.
He was—defending him—why?
Louis scoffed and gave a dark smirk "sorry, pal, no can do" Louis lifted up Alucard's sword and held it there, it glimmered in the moonlight, "after I kill you my brother's death shall be revenged" the madness on Louis face grew, like the sun rising on a new morning, "and once you're down...I'm gonna kill you friend as well!" Louis declared; his voice filled with insane malice.
Alucard's eyes widened and something inside him snapped; something that filled him mind with rage he had not felt in centuries. One difference between the two brothers, which Alucard had come to understand, was that Alucard was more open with his feeling and was not so overly concerned about expressing himself. This, as one can imagine, means that Alucard was no stranger to rage. But this feeling, this raw feeling of pure animalistic rage, was different yet very familiar at the same time. But he couldn't place where he had felt such rage before and honestly, Alucard liked the feeling. Very much.
"You're wrong" Alucard murmured, his head hung and his voice colder than ice itself.
Louis raised a brow in confusing but before he could ask anything Alucard raised his head and looked at Louis dead in the eyes. It then that the wind around the vampires and Dhampirs grew wilder, and Louis's heart stopped beating as he saw something ablaze with a horrifying red light: Alucard's eyes. "He's my little brother" it was the first time Alucard had said those words to anyone after his meeting with Doris, it felt good to say them to an enemy.
Before Louis could voice his disbelief, Alucard suddenly lunged forward at the vampire and the grunt behind him scream in pure agony as a blast of blood erupted from behind Alucard. Alucard had ripped off the vampire's arms like they were nothing. Holding onto the arms, Alucard swung the arm in his right hand like a bat and it hit Louis right in the face, sending the vampire flying but still holding his sword. Quickly, Alucard then turned to face the vampire pawn behind him and swung his arms inwards, both of the grunts own arms crashed onto the drone's head; a sickening noise was heard and was shortly followed by a mist of blood.
The headless grunt then fell to the ground, dead.
Alucard then pulled the arms off of him and tossed them to the ground, he then turned and faced Louis and the remaining servant vampires, his eyes were still crimson and his face almost looked feral.
Louis got to his feet cursing silently under his breath as he rubbed his sore cheek, he did not once look away at the Dhampir's face, any sort of resolve he had was all but gone. He knew that Dhampirs were power as they had both human and vampire blood but he immediately knew for a face that this Dhampir before him was no ordinary half-blood, he knew for stories that D was apparently the same but he had little time to think about that. He could feel the cold coking aura roll off of Alucard's body, it made his muscles freeze and heart stop dead.
Seeing that Alucard was not going to make the first move, he quickly bellowed to his servants "KILL HIM!" Louis was lucky that he had made theses once humans into brainless servants, as they could not feel the heart stopping aura from Alucard. The drone with the crossbow shot three silver quarrels at Alucard; they whistled through the air like a beautiful musical instrument as they flew directly at the Dhampir but Alucard made no attempt to dodge, in fact, he didn't move a muscle.
The bolts struck him hard in the chest, two in the waistcoat on his right and one in the coat, and it caused Alucard to take a step back and give out a grunt of pain.
"Ah-hah! Suck on that, you god-damn freak!" Louis screamed, "That teaches you to mess with one of the Brothers of Blood! AH-HAHAHAHAH!" He threw back his head as he realised a maniacal laugh—only to have it silenced by a soft, sinister chuckle.
Louis looked back at Alucard and his eyes widen in horror as the Dhampir straightened himself up, with the bolts still in his chest, and looked at the vampire with crimson eyes "you insignificant little speck...was that meant hurt?" he asked, his words dripping with a cold malice.
Louis was speechless, not to mention utterly horrified beyond all reason, "H-how...how the hell are you still standing?! Y-you...you should be-"
"Paralyzed with pain? Dead, even?" Alucard finished coldly, still not attempting to remove the bolts at all. Oddly; no blood could be seen dripping from the wounds "one would think that."
"What...what madness is this?! W-what are you?!" Louis stammered in fear.
"I am a Dhampir" Alucard stated, his face now a blank emotionless mask with ruby eyes, "I thought you were aware of that."
Louis horror struck face then became painted with pure anger "OF COURSE I FUCKING KNOW YOU'RE A DHAMPIR!" he roared, not liking the idea that the Dhampir considered him an imbecile, "but Dhampirs aren't meant to smile or show emotions" he paused as he pointed an accusing finger at the fair Dhampir "you ain't no ordinary Dhampir, are you?!" he questioned.
"So I've noticed" Alucard replied dryly, as he glanced at his younger brother. The one glance was all that was needed to see the expression on his face, D's eyes were widened and his mouth was open slightly. It was a face of true shock. Seeing this made Alucard feel a slight pang of guilt but he would deal with that later, it was time to deal with this low life scum that threatened to harm his only family member left.
Louis gritted his serrated teeth, angered more as it seemed to him that Alucard was ignoring him. He looked at his slaves in a mix of fury and desperation "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU IDIOTS DOING?!" he screamed, which was quickly followed by "HURRY UP and KILL HIM!" the drones complied by shooting more bolts at Alucard but this time the bolt went straight through the Dhampir's body. Louis's eyes narrowed at he tried to see if the was any crimson liquid falling from the fair half blood, as he presumed that the bolts had caused clean blows, but then his eyes went wide with shock as he saw something else arise from the small marks.
It was fog.
Coming out of each bolt hole was white fog, so thick that Alucard's clothing could not be seen through it, it was then when Louis and D noticed that at the soles of Alucard's feet the fog begun to grow bigger, to slowly crept up his body until it devoured him whole. Only his blood red eyes could be seen through the fog, they glared menacingly at Louis.
One more bolt struck the fog in-between the red eyes and then the vapour dispatched and thinned out into the air until it was completely gone.
Louis was sweating bullets now; he could hardly comprehend what he had just witnessed, no vampire (let alone Dhampir) had that kind of power. It was easy to see that Louis was in over his head about fighting this opponent; he had judged his powers by only his exterior and not by what lied benefit his fair face. The area around them became quite and tranquil, the air moved in a much more relaxed pace and the night incest gave off cries as they went back to their daily business. Indeed, tonight truly was a quiet, normal night.
And it was that which scared the living hell out of Louis. It was too quiet, far too quiet; there was not a sign of the fair Dhampir anywhere.
The sound of rustling leaves and snapping branches instantly caused the vampire to flinch in shock but he quickly regained his composure and looked for the source. A nearby green bush was shaking slightly and it gave Louis the hint that the fair Dhampir was hiding in it, but how he could fit in it so easily was beyond him. As was the perplexing nature of said Dhampir.
Putting those thoughts to the side for the time being, Louis looked at the closest drone and ordered "go over there, and flush that bastard out!" the drone mindlessly nodded and walked forward, in its right hand was a bow and on its back was a pack full of arrows, when it approached the bush its hand clawed at it lazily and robotically, like a digger machine.
Then, as it pushed aside some of the branches, it saw two golden eyes. However, something was different with them. The eyes that were glaring up at the drone were not the eyes of a humanoid, but were rather the thin eyes of an animal. No—to put it accurate, they were the eyes of a-
"GAH!" Louis jumped in shock when a furry blur shot out of the bush and attacked the drone's neck. The drone did not protest in the way one would expect and it was quickly silenced went the beast ripped out the tubes of its throat. Its head rolled to one side as blood pooled out of it. To Louis horrified amazement, the creature on top of his drone was a wolf! This wolf, however, had white blonde fur from head to tail and its eyes were a perfect gold. This was no wolf, it was the Dhampir; Alucard.
But—that's not possible— This thought was shared by two beings, whose eyes were stuck on the wolf.
"Kill the freak!" Louis bellowed whilst shaking. The last two drones shot more arrows and darts at the wolf but it moved with lightning speed, dodged each projectile as if they had been shot into water. The canine then pouched at one of the drones and the force of its impact drove them into a bush behind them, the blood-curdling sounds of torn flesh and gagging was heard.
Then there was silence.
The last drone did not look shaken as it looked towards the bush, nor did it show fear when it walked forward towards it. Unlike its master, who looked ready to pass out in fear. The drone's drowsy crimson eyes lazily looked around the bush until it saw them, the gold eyes, but once again they had changed shape. They were even thinner than before and had a certain sharpness to them. Had the Dhampir changed form again?
Quicker than the drone could have reacted, a black blur shot out of the bush and attacked its neck. The drone dropped its weapon and tried to fight back but the creature's two meter long wings slapped its hands aside, they then wrapped around the drones head. And the drone, like any other creature with a respiratory system, begun to choke.
To say that Louis was afraid would be the understatement of the century, he was beyond horrified. Not once had the vampire ever experienced fear of this kind, it was as if his whole world was ending and that the grim reaper was personally coming to take his unholy soul to whatever lies beyond life. And the grim reaper looked like Alucard. "This is madness..." Louis wheezed at the bat begun to change "to be able to turn into mist and animals...n-no noble can do such things. Not since the ancient days" if Louis's mind was fogged in fear, he might have realised that he had just found out an important bit of information about the fair Dhampir.
The form that was Alucard crouched over the drone, only having turned back mere seconds ago, slowly the hunter got to his feet and spat out the blood in his mouth. As he had expected, the blood tasted simpler to weak poison. Alucard then turned to Louis and became still. The face of the fair Dhampir was not so fair at the moment, his eyes were still a burning red, his mouth was smeared in blood and his blonde-white hair was ruffled. Just barely, fangs could be seen jutting from his thin lips.
The look didn't suit him, D thought, he hoped that he would straighten himself up once Louis was dead.
So, my work on the chapter ended hear. But fear not, for I WILL come back to it; just give me a bit of time.
