Chapter 28

Eric started sharpening one of his favorite swords. As he was sharpening, he was preparing to execute Agneta. A vampiress who's been a thorn on his side and a threat to his beloved and his family. However Eric feels like he'll executing more than one vampire tonight. It never really ends with one vampire. When you kill one, than another one comes along to take revenge or to finish what previous one had started. It's really the same old pattern. The only change is the vampire who attacks.

Sookie felt his determination and went to see him. Making sure her mate is calm and focused. Eric looked at her with a content smile on his face. "I'm fine Sookie, I just can't wait to kill this annoyance so we can continue to live blissfully." he said as he looked at his newly sharpened sword.

"Eric, you know as well as I know that there will always be someone trying to create havoc in our lives."

"That's true. As long as your with me, we'll make it through anything. Just like we always do. Even before we came together officially." Sookie smiled as she went to Eric and gave him a comforting hug. "Tonight I would like for us to do a second bonding."

"You mean like what we did in the cubby when you lost your memories?" she asked.

"Yes. Our marriage and our coronation is coming up soon and I would like for us to be fully bonded and pledged too." Eric took his hand to Sookie's chin for him to look at her in the eyes. "I want you to mine in every way possible." he said with male dominance. She truly felt heated in that moment, everything Eric does is a turn on. Everything that Bill was trying to do was becoming a turn off. Which that reminded her of something.

"Eric...have you seen or heard from Bill?"

Eric looked at her for a moment in confusion. "No, why?"

"It's just that he's been too quiet. You know what I'm saying?"

Now that Sookie has mentioned Bill, Eric does realize that the pesky vampire who had his mate first has been too quiet. The last time he'd seen him was during their mating season and he chopped off Bill's so called jewel off. "Well I did break off his pride and joy. He's probably still healing from it...then again it should be healed by now."

"But also he still has the virus. You don't think he's finally dead, do you?" Sookie looked concern. Eric knew however that the look of concern was not for Bill's existence. It was the fact that they haven't seen him. She was afraid for he might be up to something again.

"After this Agneta execution, I'll check on Bill and see if he's up to something."

Sookie nodded.

"Well my lover, I've to go and kill a vampire." He bent down and kissed her flat stomach that held his new cherished treasures. "Be good to your mother and try not to make her sick." Sookie snorted at the humor. Eric stood up again to Sookie a passionate kiss. "Try working on the charity for the baby vamps, that's going to coming up too."

"I know I have so much work to do. When did I ever get this busy?"

Eric smirked "When you agreed to mine. I told you, your life will be much more exciting when you are with me." he winked.

Then they heard the front door slam. Sookie looked at that direction startled. "Relax lover, it's only Pam and Willa to watch you while I deal with Agneta."

"I don't need to be watched over Eric! I'm not a child!" Eric could sense the hormones raging with anger from her.

"Lover do I need to remind you that your pregnant? Including you have just been exposed in the newspaper that you're getting married to a vampire king? You're very vulnerable right now. You need protection whether you want it or not." Sookie crossed her arms and stumped her feet with a huff. They both went into the living room where Pam and Willa sat on the couch waiting for orders.

"Good evening you two. Watch over Sookie, make sure no harm comes to her." Eric said using his maker command in a gentle but serious tone.

Both replied at the same time "Yes Master."

"Eric when are you supposedly going to have the werewolf security?" Pam asked dryly.

"By tomorrow night. I just need you two as Sookie's bodyguards right now. I can't risk her being unprotected. We all know she's a danger magnet." Pam nodded in response.

Eric left his vampire children to take care of his lover. He decided he was going to fly to the authority so he can quickly take care of business and immediately go back to his home. 'Home' he thought, he really does now have a home with Sookie. It's been a very long time sense he had real home and a real growing family. Between his vampire children and the children he's going to have with Sookie.

One thing he wants to check on, something that Sookie said that's now going to haunt his mind. Before he went to the authority building, he landed on Bill's property. On the outside it looked dead. There was no life going on inside the house. As Eric looked through the windows, he saw nothing other than furniture. He opened the front door to see if it was locked. Turns out it wasn't.

As Eric stepped inside...it looked like the place hasn't been touched in weeks. Everything was dusty and there was no scent of any kind other than dust. Eric called out gently "Bill." He walked more into the house. He tried putting on the lights, but the electric wasn't working. Eric felt a certain uneasiness, the hair on the back of his neck was standing on all ends. Everything was still in its place and yet everything felt wrong. Something was wrong and Eric doesn't know what. There was no sign of Bill, Jessica, or anything for that matter. "Bill." he called out again. The house was so dark that with human eyes you can't see anything. Luckily for Eric's vampire godly like vision, he can see everything.

Still not a trace of life. In Eric's gut, it was screaming at saying something was wrong. To him, it was awfully coincidental for Sookie to think of Bill when he sees not a trace or scent of him here. He can sense Sookie felt something in her intuition that something wasn't right. Now Eric feels it too. "Where are you Bill? More importantly, what are you doing?" he said to the empty house.

As Eric started going up the stairs...he finally smells something. It was the smell of rotten death. Eric then used his vamp speed and went into Bill's room. Eric saw blood everywhere, on the bed, on the walls, and on the furniture, along with several corpses on the floor. Eric once seen this from Bill before when he was with Lorena. Then he saw files on the bed that was still extremely bloody. More files of Sookie, himself, and surprisingly...Agneta.

Eric looked at this wide eyed "What are you up to now Bill?"
