To my lovely and devoted readers, I apologize for taking this long to update my stories. There's no excuse other than life is in the way. However while I'm doing my busy life and the fanfiction of four stories (my fault), I'm actually writing a book. One that will hopefully be published. Which is one of my top priorities. I'm not abandoning my stories here on fanfic. I do plan to finish them. So I'll update them when I can. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Also thank you for your comments, support, followers, and favorites. -Vikinglady47

These characters belong to Charlene Harris and Alan Ball.

Sookie looked around wide eyed at the Viking artifacts at one of the museums Eric had brought her to. For the dark ages the Vikings were defintely advanced. Many of the trading systems and routes were created because of them. Eric smiled with pride and sadness as he sees his own people's items, weapons, and other home made creations were on display.

While one of the museum's tour guide was providing information to them and the rest of a group of people, Eric was whispering Sookie the correct information in her ear. It's one of the great privleges of dating a vampire . . . a walking talking history book with the facts of what actually happened.

Then they saw a showcase filled with Viking royal crowns. Sookie was in awe "Wow, they're beautiful."

Eric smiled gently at Sookie "I have one of those."

Sookie looked at him with surprise. "You do?"

Eric nodded. "It was my father's."

Sookie blinked as she absorbed a new piece of information that she never knew about Eric. "Your father's? That means . . . Eric, are you a prince?"

"Was. I became king after he and my family was murdered by Russell and his wolves."

Then Sookie came into full understanding the situation with Eric and Russell Edgington. Why Eric was more secretive than usual. He was going against a thousand year old vegeance for his family. That's when she realized that she almost skrewed that up for him, by being there. Of course, things would have been easier if Eric just told her what was going on in the first place. "That explains everything."

"What explains everything?"

"Your thrist for Russell's suffering. You being secretive about the werewolves. Also your entitlement to everything." Eric smirked on the last part. "You are real royalty, Eric. You are really a prince!"

Then Eric looked at her with the same endearment. "Yes, my Sookie. If you were with me during that time, you would have been a princess as well." Sookie was captivated by what he meant.

"Did you mean what I think you meant?"

"Yes. You would have been my wife, that would make you a princess." Eric gave her a smirk. However Sookie just realized how close Eric was to what she really was. That her fairy great-great-grandfather came for a visit. Eric doesn't know her heritage other that she's a fairy.

"Speaking of royalty, I forgot to tell you something Eric." she said nervously.

Eric gave her a small suspicous look. For it's been a while since Sookie had been nervous around him. She's only like this when there's trouble brewing. Then he gave her his usual smirk. "What trouble have you gotten into now Sookie."

She put her hands on her hips in a daring stance, "Who said I was in trouble?"

"You're always in trouble, Lover. Including that you are always like this when trouble is around the corner. . . or already has arrived."

"Sorry to disappoint you Mr. Northman, but I'm not in trouble."

"Yet." he countered.

Sookie rolled her eyes and just ignored his comment. She continued on what she wanted to say. "I actually had a visit from a relative I didn't know about." Eric looked away from the artifacts and listened. Anything about Sookie's family is great importance. "He's a fairy . . . his name is Niall." Eric instantly frowned and shock was on his face. Sookie now felt like this was bad news, to shock Eric Northman instantly was like finding the one of the seven wonders. For minute Eric looked more pale than usual. "Eric? Are you okay?"

"There's only one fairy I know who's name is Niall. Tell me his last name to confirm this."

"I think it's . . . Brigant I believe." Eric closed his eyes and concluded to the fact that there maybe a problem at hand. Before he thinks the worst, he had to find out in what realtion is he to Sookie.

"Lover. . . " Eric said as steady as he could. "Please tell me, what is this man to you? In what relation?"

Sookie said in fear for now she can tell in Eric's eyes that there's going to be a problem. "He's my great-great-grandfather."

Vampires don't faint (unless they were blood drained), but for Eric he felt like he was going to. He didn't know whether to be scared or proud. The sense of pride because pretty much his lover just told him that she's a fairy princess. How comical that the former Sheriff of Area Five is really a Viking prince and a former waitress is actually a fairy princess. No wonder Sookie was a match for him. They were both royalty by blood and yet lived in humble beginnings in a way. The fear in Eric was the fact that Niall could literally seperate them, how was he going to convince Niall that he's planning on changing Sookie to be his child?

"Eric. Please talk to me Eric!"

Eric focused himself again. He'll have to show his Viking strength and intelligence. Niall maybe powerful, but he's also respectful and take other things into consideration. The way Godric used to deal with him was friendly and helped each other in alliance, whenever there was a 'supe' problem. "Is he close to you? Does he look after you?" he asked with sincerity.

"We're not that close, but he does look after me and worries about me. But, he does it from afar. He comes to me when I really need him."

"Does he plan for you to rule the fairy kingdom someday?"

Sookie bursted out laughing loud that some of the people in the museum looked at her like she was nuts. She totally forgot that she was in a museum "No. Me? Ruling a fairy kingdom?" she continued laughing.

"This isn't a laughing matter Sookie. Is grandfather training you to be a fairy princess or not!" he said in a almost anger tone. Sookie immediatley stopped laughing for his tone, though she knew that Eric wasn't angry, he was scared.

She went to him and gave him a hug. "No Eric, he isn't traing me and he hasn't mentioned anything about me ruling a kingdom." Eric relaxed a little. "Besides if he'd offered, I'd say no."

Eric looked down at the petite woman hwo has captured his undead heart. "Why?"

Sookie looked at him with gentle eyes. "Because I want to be with you silly. You really shouldn't worry about Niall, because whatever need, Niall happens to provide or he listens to what I have to say. Then he gives me his advice and goes. That doesn't mean I follow through." she smiled. Eric calmed down more considerably. Niall might be an easy person to deal with if he listens to Sookie.

Then Eric remembered the news last night. "Sookie sense we're putting everything out in the air, there's also something I need to tell you." Now it was Sookie's turn to get nervous. "I promise you lover I'd just found out about this last night." Sookie just stood there and listened. "There's experimentation on vampire/human couples . . . getting babies. . . the normal way."

Sookie looked at him wide-eyed. A possiblity for humans and vampires to have children. "Are you serious?"

"Yes. It was on the news last night. They haven't made a baby yet, but the doctors are working on it. The reason why I bring this up is because we agreed to turn you in a month. I didn't want to keep this secret from you out of selfishness for me to turn you sooner. Now that there might be a possiblity for you . . . for us to have a baby together, do you want to wait to become a vampire?"

Out of all the things Eric has done for her, this one was the most generous. He gave her a choice and more options. " What about two vampires? Are they working on a baby between two vampires?"

Eric nodded. "The doctor thinks it's a possibility and the idea is in his head, but they're still working on the human/vampire reproduction." Sookie thought this over and went through her mind about the pros and cons of every scenero in her head. "Lover, you don't have to give me a direct answer tonight."

Sookie shook her head. "Eric, I already know my answer. I am grateful of you sharing this information with me. It's best for us not to have a child." Eric couldn't believe her answer. "As much as I want one, how can we raise one with all the danger and excitement around us? I already promised you to become your child within a month. There's also no way for me to be a mother when I'll be a vampire child myself." Eric was about to talk, but Sookie kept on going. "I know you're giving me an option without obligation, but if we are meant to be parents of a child of our creation . . . out of our love, it will happen when we're both vampires and the technology can do it. At least by then I'll be in control of myself to care for the infant." Eric nodded for Sookie was thinking in a wise choice. "With technology today, it'll take no time for the doctor to find a way for two vampires to have a child the human way." Sookie said with determination.

Eric nodded once again with a smile on his face. "Without a doubt, my lover. Maybe one day we'll have a young one, years after your turning." Sookie nodded with a smile on her face knowing she made the right decision. They gave each other a hug of a promise of another future when the time is right for them and for the world.

"Speaking of our plans of turning you into a vampire. I'm thinking from this point on, I'm going to start to train you."

"Train me?"

"To be a vampire, and for you to get use to the commands of me before your turning. My theory is that when your used to the commands as a human and obey, the easier it's going to be as a newborn vampire."

"You mean you want me to get used to listening to you and every order you tell me to."

"Yes. When you become a newborn vampire, you'll have impulses everywhere that will be completely out of control. I believe that if you're used to my commands, the easier it'll be for you as a newborn."

"It makes sense, but don't you have a maker's command to have me do that anyways?"

"Sookie, I barely use the maker's command. I only do it out of necessecity because of danger or survival. I want you to follow my orders because you trust me. Not because you were forced to. I want and need you to believe that I'm a trustworthy maker and that my word is trust. I want us to build that trust without your new vampire impulses being in the way."

Sookie looked at him in the eye and then said "When do you want us to start?" Eric smiled for she was already going to be a magnificent vampire.
