Connor looked at where Andrew's gaze was fixed. "Damn. Those girls again?"

Andrew's nose flared when he saw one pause to get something out of her bag. "Come on," He nodded at Eirene to follow and then started chasing after the girls, Connor hot on his tail. Hopefully they'd catch the girls before they did anything stupid, and deadly.

As the four of them chased the girls Andrew noticed that one of their bags was open and flapping rapidly. Soon enough what looked like a thermos fell out of her back, and Andrew paused for a second to pick it up. They all chased the girls until they entered what looked like a tunnel way. "Wait," Andrew stopped abruptly and held a hand to the others, whispering. He hide behind a tunnel way and motioned for them to do the same. Slowly, they peaked their head out and eavesdropped on their conversation.

The red-haired one…Eirene remembers her name being Scarlet turned to the Brown-haired girl. "Do you have it?"

She ruffled through her bag. "It's in here somewhere…"

Scarlet let out a moan of frustration. "If you lost it Nick is gonna kill us!"

"I didn't lose it, it's just…" She ruffled through her bag some more, her expression growing more worried.

"Just where, Carrie? Do you know how much trouble Nick went through to get that for us? How are we gonna meet up—"

"I know! Stop yelling at me!" Carrie's glasses were on crooked from all the running, and she adjusted them before going through her bag again. "It's just in a different compartment…" She said quietly, mostly to herself.

"I'm gonna shoot you with my bow right here right now if you don't find it."

There conversation was starting to sound more and more suspicious, so Eirene looked at the thermos Andrew was holding. "What's that?" She whispered.

He looked at it then, closely studied it, and Eirene watched as his eyes grew with shock. He showed it to the other demigods and they too studied it: Eirene saw that it was a silver thermos, circled with golden Greek meander and Greek script writing. It also held the face of a famous Greek hero: Hercules. Eirene squinted to read the script properly and almost gasped when she read it: Hercules Busts Heads.

Oh my Gods…this was…

"It's the thermos of winds!" Connor exclaimed, before clasping his hands over his mouth and repeating in a whisper: "It's the Thermos of Winds."

"This is a god's item; it belongs to Hermes." Andrew turned back to the two girls bickering, a much more fearful expression on his face. "How did mortals get their hands on it?"

Scarlet was getting more impatient now, stomping her leathered shoes and yelling. "Carrie!"

Carried slammed the bag down in anger and threw her hands up. "Okay! I lost it! There, are you happy?"

"Happy?" She screeched. "How are we going to get to the guys now?"

"We can take a speed boat!"

"I can't believe how dumb you are for a smart girl, Carrie. Where was the last place you saw it?"

"When Nicholas put it in my hand!"

Scarlet closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Ok. Alright, this is that bad. We'll just take a speed boat, or something. Sure, we'll be about two hours late, and you can explain to both Nick and Dennis why we were late."

All the demigods froze at the mention of his name, and then exchanged quick glances with each other. Dennis? What did these girls know about Dennis? Was it the same Dennis, or a different one? It has to be a different one, Eirene thought. New York is a big place. But the coincidences were too great. The chance of it being a coincidence that these girls who have the sight, know a guy named Dennis who just also happens to be a human with the sight, was a very low. Not to mention that both the girls and Dennis have stolen Greek artifacts.

Could it be? Could these girls truly know the Dennis? And if so, was the reason for their sight because he'd used the pendant on them? Eirene couldn't stand to wait any longer, and if these girls could help them find Dennis, then she wouldn't. She grabbed the thermos from Andrew and ran out from behind the tunnel.

"Looking for this?" She held up the thermos. To her satisfaction, both Scarlet and Carrie gasped.

"What are you doing?" Andrew whispered yelled. She ignored him.

"Where did you get that?" Scarlet asked. Carrie, on the other hand, just looked relieved that it wasn't lost.

"You dropped it."

The girls looked taken aback. "You were following us?" Scarlet shot Carrie an excusatory glance; she had assured her that no one had been tailing them. If these demigod had stuck around any later Scarlet would've revealed a bit too much, and their plans would've been foiled.

This time Connor showed his face. "Of course we were, we didn't want you two blowing up another building."

Carrie muttered 'It was an accident' as Scarlet raised an eyebrow and looked behind Connor. "If you're here Shrinkydink, that means Blondie is too."

Grudgingly, Andrew revealed himself, and Scarlet smiled, revealing her molars. "Now I'm more flattered than angry, but I'm still gonna need an explanation here."

Connor stepped forward. "Actually we're going to need you to explain—"

"Who's Dennis?" Eirene interrupted, clutching the thermos. "And Nick? Who were you guys talking about?"

Carrie exchanged a glance with Scarlet and raised her chin, suddenly haughty. "And why do you want to know?"

Eirene froze, momentarily stumped. She couldn't tell them the real reason or else they'd run in the other direction. "We've been looking for him." She settled on.

Scarlet crossed her arms. "Why?"

And idea struck Andrew and he perked up. "We've heard about him. We've heard about what he's doing and…" He paused and looked around for dramatics, before looking at the two girls again. "We want in."

Carrie's eyes bulged suddenly, letting Andrew know he'd hit the jackpot. "How do you…?"

"Shh," Scarlet held up a hand to silence Carrie. "What exactly is it that you've heard?"

Eirene's and Connor's eyes were fixed on Andrew. What was he doing?

"He took the pendant." Andrew swallowed. "We know he plans to use it." He was playing up the dramatics for flare and being deliberately vague, but with this new development his long-thought suspicions have been confirmed. If these two girls knew Dennis, knew about the pendant and somehow managed to get their hands on the Thermos of Winds, then he had definitely used the pendant on them. And Andrew knew he planned to use it on more, he just needed to get these girls to believe and trust them so they could take them to where Dennis was in a more…timely matter.

Scarlet's brows furrowed further, and she cocked her hip. "Where did you hear this?"

"Matt," Connor perked up, getting the gist of where Andrew was going. "We heard it from Matt."

Carrie turned to Scarlet with an alarmed expression and failed, but tried, to whisper: "Matt told them? Dennis didn't mention any new people."

"Dennis wouldn't know about us, but Matt recruited us because he knew we could help you guys." Andrew said.

Scarlet cocked her hip, still skeptical of all this. Why would these Demigods want to help them? "If Matt told you the plan why didn't he tell you where Dennis is?"

"He told us that if we found you guys you'll lead us straight to him." Connor piped up. "Plus…he also wanted us to keep an eye on you two. Something about being 'trouble magnets?"

Carrie gasped 'how dare he!' while Scarlet smirked and flipped her hair. "That sounds about right, I'll have to thank him for the compliment when I see him. With my foot."

Andrew spread his arms in a way that asked, 'Well? Are we in or not?"

"One more thing, blondie." Her gaze intensified. "What reason would you guys have to help us? You're demigods, and other than the situation Matt is in…I can't imagine how you'd benefit from this."

Andrew opened his mouth to answer, but she stopped him with her hand. "Not you," Her eyes shifted to Eirene's and she gave her a once over before continuing. "I'm asking Princess over here."

Princess? Eirene shook off the jab-nickname, and hesitated before answering. She tried to think of a reason anyone would do what these guys are doing…anything that could possibly justify their actions. "Revenge." It wasn't a justifiable answer, but it was one with understanding. More than likely Dennis must have a vendetta against the gods for him to do something of this magnitude. And being familiar with the gods herself, Eirene knew they weren't shy when it came to doling out cruel fates or punishments. "We want revenge," She repeated.

"Awww," Scarlet titled her head, placing her hand over her heart mockingly. "How cute. The princess wants revenge. What's wrong? Did your god parents take away your allowance?"

Eirene flinched, confused and annoyed. What was she talking about?

Andrew crossed his arms. "That's enough. Are you going to let us help you, or not?" He gestured to the docks. "I own one of those boats. I could help you get to your destination without you having to steal anything." He could almost feel Connor's smug stare, and could've sworn he heard him mutter. 'Country club boy'

Scarlet's smile returned, more devious looking than the last. "Perfect. I like my men rich." She laced her arm through Carrie's and sighed, satisfied. "Lead the way."

Andrew started walking and gestured for the others to follow him towards the boats parked by the dock. Eirene watched as he started speaking to one of the older men there, presumably the dock patrollers or boat security guards. Andrew brought out what looked like a badge and flashed it at them, and Eirene realized it was the psychic paper he'd used earlier. Moments later the men nodded and led Andrew to the boat at the far end of the dock, which was also the biggest. Eirene and the others hurried over, surprised by the sheer size of the boat.

"I believe this one is yours, Mr. Archibald." One of the men said, handing Andrew a pair of keys. "We hope it's to your liking."

"Thank you," Andrew said, taking the keys and stepping into the boat. After the men left, Scarlet pushed everyone aside and leaped onto the boat. Connor soon followed.

"This isn't too bad," The redhead was lounging on the seats, stroking the white marble seating that was covered with brown-leather cushions. "You might be some use to us after all; Mr. Archibald." She winked, and he had to hold back a grimace. "At least we'll arrive in style,"

"Mr. Archibald huh?" Connor was already digging through what looked like a mini fridge. He came out with cold drinks in hand and tossed one to Andrew. "That's some psychic paper you've got there; though you're probably used to these kinds of luxuries."

Andrew ignored him and turned to Eirene, who was still standing on the dock, staring at the water apprehensively. So was Elon.

"What's wrong? Afraid of water?"

Both Elon and Eirene answered at the same time, though Eirene's was a quiet 'no' while Elon shouted 'YES' with conviction.

Andrew held out his hand. "I promise its safe."

Elon sputtered, his face growing red. "The ocean is n-not a safe place—"

"I mean the boat," Andrew interrupted, his eyes leaving Eirene's for a moment to glare at the satyr, then returning to hers. "It's okay, you won't fall."

Eirene had never been near, in, or above the ocean. The sight of it filled her with dread, like something very bad was going to happen. All she'd heard were stories of the monsters that lived in the sea, leering fishermen and others alike to their deaths. It didn't help that Bia, her sister, had also mentioned that sirens may be the choice of attack that her other sisters employed to capture her. But she knew that avoiding it wouldn't make it go away. She'd have to face her sisters sooner or later, and crossing the ocean was the only way to find and stop Dennis.

She looked at Andrew's eyes and felt herself slightly calm down, so she took his hand and let him lead her onto the boat.
