June 2014 Prompt: "Let Her Go!"

Title: Modern Damsels in Distress (Aren't Really in Distress)

Rating: R

Warnings: some violence

Draco stood tense, blood pounding in his ears, wand raised at the ready. "Let her go! Or I'll send you straight to hell."

Dolohov pushed his wand further into Hermione's throat. "You'll not make idle threats, Malfoy. I'll get my revenge on her and Potter and all their little friends!"

She trembled in fear, but her eyes bored into Draco's with determination and a plan.

With lightning speed, she elbowed Dolohov in the ribs, just as Draco cast, "Sectumsempra!"

The curse struck and he howled. Hermione turned and knocked him out cold.

"You always did have an impressive right hook."
