"So, darling, what story do you want tonight?"
Cass looked thoughtful. "A new scary one, please."
Draco recited 'The Chamber of Secrets' to his daughter, whose eyes grew larger every second.
"...And then the basilisk petrified your mother."
Cass gasped. "How did she get unfrozen?"
"A kiss from Yours Truly, of course. How else does the princess get awoken?"
"Possibly with a potion made from mandrakes?" Hermione suggested from the doorway.
Draco scoffed. "What kind of tale would that be?"
"A truthful one."
Cass frowned. "I like Daddy's version better."
"And that, my dear, is why I love you best."
