DarkFoxKit: I'm terribly sorry readers, I've got some sad news. While I'll be continuing my Pokemon fanfiction, from this point on, I've decided to stop doing ANs unless I have something important to announce. One of these reasons is because I've lost Key2DestNE as a co-writer, he got burnt out and I'm not sure when of if he'll ever write with me again, point is he's on a long hiatus, so I'll be doing this solo from here on out. I'm not going to keep creating funny little skits in the ANs anymore, they're for announcements only now. Maybe if Key comes back or if I gain a new co-writer, I can use the ANs more often again, but until then... Just focus on the story. Oh, and I do have one other announcement, that I will say at the bottom. And yes, I've corrected the spelling for Hunter J, apparently it's just the letter 'J'. Also, I've decided to skip 23 and just make it 24, hence why I put 23-24, I don't like how the default chapter always sets to one chapter ahead because of the 8.5 chapter I posted, so this will be less of a hassle with future updates.

Disclaimer: This applies for future chapters too. I do not own Pokemon, they belong to Nintendo/Game Freak/Pokemon Company. Many of the OCs are mine.

Chapter 23-24: A Dangerous Hunter

Meanwhile, Blue had been traveling the reserved safari all day and still couldn't find a trace of Hunter J, even with his Growlithe's strong sense of smell- she had eluded the police for many years for a reason, after all. "It's no good, I'll never track her down at this rate."

Growlithe sniffed the ground before he looked up and frowned. "Blue, I smell a young Kangaskhan."

Blue looked down at the Growlithe and said, frowning curiously. "Just the baby, not the parent too?"

"Just the young one." Growlithe nodded.

This made Blue frown, and he crossed his arms. "If it's alone and not with a parent nearby… that must mean it's lost. Lead the way Growlithe, I want to make sure it's okay."

"Yes Blue!" Growlithe barked before running ahead with Blue close behind him.

It didn't take long for them to see a lone baby Kangaskhan, crying with wounds all over it. Blue gave a small gasp when he saw this, and he slowly walked over to it before getting on his knee. "What happened to you, little one?"

The baby Kangaskhan was crying, but she answered, "Bad people… came and hurt me… *sniffle* I… I want… my Memma…"

Blue frowned at this as he looked at the wounds- it looked like this little Kangaskhan got caught up with some Pokemon poachers earlier. The boy took out a Super Potion from his pocket and said, "I don't have any Oran or Sitrus Berries, but this Super Potion should help heal you up, but it's going to sting a little, okay?"

The boy then proceeds to spray her with the Super Potion, making her wheeze and hiss in pain from the stinging. Growlithe waited patiently as he kept a watchful eye for any signs of danger.

"There you go, you'll be just fine." Blue said. "But… you're all alone out here…" He then looked around- usually the parent isn't too far from its child, but seeing how it's injured and alone, it must be lost and the parent must be looking for it.

"I-I don't… don't know… wh-where… I am… o-or where… M-Memma is…" The young Kangaskhan sniffled.

Blue sighed before he said hesitantly, "Well… I suppose I could help you find your lost parent if you want."

The baby Kangaskhan looked at him before smiling hopefully. "Y-you really mean it? Y-you can h-help me find Memma?"

"Well, I certainly just can't leave a baby Pokemon out here to fend for itself." Blue said with a sigh as he picked her up and put her into his backpack. "Just stay there and try not to fall."

"Is this your pouch? It's not really as comfy as Memma's pouch." The baby Kangaskhan said curiously, poking the backpack and tilting her head.

"Well… it's not a pouch exactly, but it should be enough to hold you until we can find your Memma." Blue said with a shrug.

"Okay… t-thanks again, mister!" the baby Kangaskhan said, curling up inside Blue's backpack.

Blue sighed, beginning to look around for the mother of the Kangaskhan. "Hey, don't mention it- I would like to help where I can." Still… I can't help but wonder how long this baby has been out here for- it has to have been for a while, otherwise it wouldn't be so worried…

Blue looked down at his Growlithe and said, "Growlithe, sniff for Kangaskhan."

Growlithe nodded, "Right away, Blue!"

The puppy Pokemon began sniffing the air for a bit before he looked in shock about something, and Blue noticed, raising an eyebrow. "What is it, what's wrong?"

Growlithe suddenly began growling in the direction he was sniffing in. "I… I smelled… a herd of Kangaskhan… and… the stench of a powerful Pokemon Hunter, Blue."

"...A Pokemon Hunter!?" Blue's eyes widened, and he quickly picked up Growlithe, beginning to run in the direction his Pokemon had been growling in. No! I may be too late when I get there…!

Meanwhile, Ash and Storm were staring at a Salamence that was floating in midair, and it looked down at the Kangaskhan herd, but there was someone riding on the dragon… It looked like a young woman. The Salamence seems to be wearing some kind of necklace with a blue stone with a strange symbol in it.

"M-Memma… who's that?" Ash asked, feeling nervous as he could sense a dark and powerful aura emitting from both the Salamence and the woman riding on it.

Mew-Kangaskhan frowned, looking slightly nervous. "...That's Hunter J- the leader of those poachers we saw earlier. She's the one Blue had been growling at like an angry Arcanine."

"H-Hunter J? S-she looks so strong…" Storm gulped, trembling in the pouch with only two ear tips poking out of it.

"What do we do? I don't think my Pokemon are strong enough to take on a Salamence!" Ash frowned worriedly.

"Just stay calm and watch what happens first, Ash." Mew-Kangaskhan said seriously, clenching her fist.

The leader of the Kangaskhan herd was a Kangaskhan that was taller than the rest of them, and she had that human boy in her pouch- he was glaring up at Hunter J. "You! Get out of here! You trespass! We don't like trespassers!" The boy shouted in human language, crossing his arms.

Hunter J glared down at the boy dismissively, a sneer crossing her face. "Tresspassing? I'm going to do a lot more than 'trespass', brat. I'm going to give you one chance- leave, or I'll capture you and sell you on the black market. A boy with the ability to speak with Pokemon would fetch a wonderful price…"

"You bad! Me no like you!" The boy shouted before turning to the rest of the Kangaskhan. "ATTACK THIS LADY!"

The herd looked hesitant, they didn't seem to want to fight with such a strong enemy. Regardless, they surrounded her, but they couldn't really reach her since she was on her Salamence.

Hunter J just gave an amused smirk at this as she raised an arm, and Ash took notice of something colorful and shiny on her bracelet, but he couldn't tell what it was from this distance. "You idiotic brat… Fine- it's your funeral." With that, she pointed at the ground. "Salamence, use Flamethrower- set the safari on fire."

The Salamence gave a roar as it opened its mouth and Ash gasped, quickly screaming loudly, "RUN FOR IT!"

The dragon shot out streams of hot flames onto the grassy fields, making the Kangaskhan panic and scramble around as Hunter J ordered her Salamence to land. She had something else strapped to her wrist besides that bracelet with the weird colorful shiny thing Ash saw earlier, it looked like some kind of device.

Hunter J then pointed the device at some of the panicking Kangaskhan and shot some kind of beam out of it- and when it hit the Kangaskhan, it froze them, literally turning them to stone! Ash gasped when he saw this, his jaw dropping in shock. Storm was still ducking for cover, and Mew-Kangaskhan, the only one not running around screaming, was glaring with anger. Even the leader Kangaskhan was running around, the boy was yelling to get them all to calm down.

"W-what is she doing!? S-she's turning them to s-stone!" Ash yelled as he couldn't believe what he was seeing!

Mew-Kangaskhan kept glaring at the hunter as she replied to her son. "She's using an advanced technology to petrify Pokemon, so they can't move and escape while she sells them to the black market or to her client. I can't stand humans like her! Humans like her will do anything for money, they don't care how, just as long as they do it, it's sickening."

Hunter J petrified more panicking Kangaskhan, but then she turned to Mew-Kangaskhan and noticed she wasn't running around like the rest. "...Hmm?" She raised an eyebrow, looking curiously at the transformed Pokemon.

"Ah! M-Memma! She's looking right at us! We have to get out of here!" Ash yelped, feeling his heart pounding in his chest like a drum.

Mew-Kangaskhan just shook her head, clenching her paw. "...No, Ash- we're standing our ground."

"A-are you crazy!?" Storm cried out, still ducking under the pouch. "We'll be caught if you don't run away!"

"If we don't stand our ground, she's going to get the Kangaskhan, I won't let that happen." Mew-Kangaskhan growled.

"But Memma! Unless you fight her in your original form, we won't stand a chance against that Salamence!" Ash yelled.

"...Hmph." Hunter J sneered, aiming her petrifier at Mew-Kangaskhan. "A strong-willed creature like you would make a good statue- perhaps you would even fetch a good price on the market."

"..." Mew-Kangaskhan gritted her teeth. Even though she wanted to help the Kangaskhan… she knew Ash was right- what could she do?

Just when Hunter J was going to pull the trigger, someone suddenly shouted, "Use Ember now!"

Out of nowhere, hot little fireballs shot at Hunter J, surprising the Pokemon Hunter as it hit and sparked on her petrifier, unfreezing the Kangaskhan she already petrified. Hunter J glared at where the Ember attack came from, clenching her fist angrily. "Who's there?" she demanded.

Out of the shadows, Ash's eyes widened when he saw Blue walking into the scene, with his Growlithe growling beside him, and a baby Kangaskhan in his backpack. "I've finally found you, Hunter J." Blue said in a cold voice.

"...Hmph- have we met?" Hunter J asked, glaring at Blue in annoyance as she tossed aside the ruined petrifier. "I don't believe I've stolen any of your Pokemon before."

Blue glared at her, growling out, "You once stole someone very important to me, but of course you wouldn't know if you don't remember me- or rather, don't recognize me." He then looked at the boy in the bigger Kangaskhan's pouch. "You there, get all the Kangaskhan out of here- I'll deal with the hunter, understood?"

The boy frowned, but nodded- even he knows when it's time to retreat. "Yes, Tomo understands. EVERYONE RETREAT! GET INTO HIDING NOW!"

All the Kangaskhan didn't hesitate as they hurried away from the area… all but one. Mew-Kangaskhan still stood her ground, making Ash frown before he looked up at her. "Memma, I can't fight her without my Pokemon, we're useless as we are now."

Mew-Kangaskhan glared at the hunter before moving out herself- after all, she knew her child speaks the truth. "Ash, she is strong, as Mew, I can't let her see me, no matter what…"

"I understand…"

"But as your Memma… I will not hesitate to get in there to protect you should it come down to that." She said firmly before getting into the bushes, making sure to stay hidden from the greedy and heartless hunter.

Mew-Kangaskhan's body glowed before she shrank back down to her original form, and she tapped Ash's head and returned him as a human. Storm looked up and said nervously, "Are we really going to fight her?"

Ash nodded, crossing his arms. "We should at least help Blue- I don't think even he will be able to handle her alone. There's something about Hunter J and her Salamence… something… unusual and much more powerful than normal."

"Ash, I don't want you getting hurt, so be careful." Mew said worriedly.

Ash looked up at her and nodded, clenching his fist. "I promise I'll be careful, Memma. Come on Storm, we better go out there and help Blue out!"

The Pikachu gulped nervously before he nodded. And with that, Ash ran out, with Storm right behind him. Mew watched as her child ran off to face yet another powerful Trainer.

Meanwhile, Hunter J tsked in annoyance, glaring at Blue. "Not only do you destroy some of my technology, none of your Pokemon are worth anything- you're a nobody. So scram before you become less than that, got it?"

"My Pokemon are worth more than what people like you are worth." Blue snapped, clenching his fist as he returned Growlithe to his Poke Ball, and the baby Kangaskhan hid itself inside his backpack. "And… these are not my only Pokemon." With that, he brought out his Pokedex before pushing some buttons, and three more Poke Balls appeared in his hands.

"Blue!" Ash yelled, running over to him, catching Blue off-guard. "I want to help. Hunter J terrorized my new friends and I want to make her pay for that!"

"Ash…?" Blue blinked before shaking his head. "No, you should get out of here- Hunter J is not a pushover, and she's not just some Trainer either. She's a highly skilled hunter, with plenty of experience under her belt. I don't want you facing her, especially not with your team of unevolved Pokemon." he said to the younger boy. "Look, I know you're a talented Trainer, but as you are right now, you're not going to stand a chance."

Ash glared, clenching his fist in determination. "I don't care, Blue- I'm going to help whether you like it or not! I'm not letting her get away with what she did."

"..." Blue blinked, and for a moment, he couldn't help but see a younger Red in Ash's place. "..." He sighed, shrugging. "Fine, fine- it's not like I can really stop you… Besides, I guess I'll need all the help I can get."

"Tch." Hunter J scoffed, crossing her arms derisively. "Do you really think you can stand up against my Salamence? It has more power than you two brats can comprehend."

"Then let's stop talking and battle." Blue said coldly to her, holding up an Ultra Ball. "Go!" He then threw it to the ground, and the Ultra Ball popped up, releasing a stream of light that shaped into an Alakazam.

Ash was surprised when he saw Blue send out such a strong Psychic type- he remembered battling with Sabrina's Kadabra, and they were powerful. He then took a Heal Ball from his belt and threw it, crying out, "Let's go Konoha!"

The Heal Ball opened and revealed the Bulbasaur, who looked at Hunter J and frowned to himself. "I think we're a bit way over our heads this time, Ash…"

Hunter J then just chuckled to herself, pulling out a Poke Ball. "I would say I don't have time to play with you kids, but my Pokemon could use some target practice." She then threw the ball and released a deadly looking Drapion. "Go ahead, Drapion… enjoy yourself."

Ash nodded, clenching his fist, responding to Konoha's previous statement. "I know, but we still need to try! Use Razor Leaf!"

Hunter J tsked in annoyance, snapping her fingers. "Use Dragon Pulse, Salamence. Drapion, use Pin Missile on that pathetic Bulbasaur."

Konoha shot out razor sharp leaves from his bulb at both the Salamence and the Drapion, but the Drapion easily countered those leaves with its Pin Missile, sending stingers at each leaves.

The Salamence shot out a powerful energy blast from its mouth at Blue's Alakazam, and Blue quickly gave the order. "Use Psychic to bounce that back!"

Alakazam brought its spoons forward, nodding. "At once, my Master." Blue frowned slightly, but he ignored it as the Psychic type easily bent the energy attack and sent it straight back towards Salamence.

Hunter J tched in annoyance, getting hit with her own attack wasn't going to be pretty. "Drapion!"

Drapion immediately jumped in front of Salamence, protecting it from its own attack. Ash couldn't believe what he just saw. "You had your Pokemon take a hit for its partner?"

"Hmph- I wasn't about to let my ace be cut down by its own attack." Hunter J said, glaring at him. "Besides, you're hardly a threat, little boy- it's the other boy I'm more concerned about."

Ash narrowed his eyes when she said that, she just called him a weakling. Storm's cheeks sparked at this and Konoha growled as Ash said warningly, "Don't underestimate me just because I'm using a Bulbasaur. Konoha, use Leech Seed on that Drapion!"

"With pleasure!" Konoha created a seed at the tip of his bulb before shooting it at the weakened Drapion's head, the seed immediately took root and spread its energy sucking vines all over the Pokemon's body.

"Such an annoying pest." J glared at him, narrowing her eyes dangerously.

Blue looked over at Ash before he said, "Be careful, Hunter J rather wipes out those she deems weak before going after the stronger ones- she's the type of Trainer who doesn't show mercy to anyone, humans and Pokemon alike."

"If you want to keep playing with the big leagues, little boy, allow me to show you how the big leagues play." Hunter J said in a scary tone. "Drapion, use Cross Poison on that weak little Bulbasaur now! Get that thing out of here!"

Ash frowned at that, quickly trying to come up with a plan. "U-uh… Kohona, use Vine Whip to dodge! Quickly!"

Konoha didn't hesitate to launch his two vines at a nearby tree branch and used it to swing himself away from the incoming Drapion! He barely managed to dodge its claws that were cloaked in toxic poisonous sludge. Because Konoha is half Poison, he is immune to BEING poisoned- however, he is also part Grass, and that Cross Poison looked like it would really HURT.

"Hey." Blue said in a low tone. "Don't forget about me just because you're trying to wipe out my partner."

Alakazam, as if reading Blue's mind, crossed his two spoons, sending out a powerful psychic wave. Because Drapion is half Dark type, Alakazam's Psychic attack wouldn't be able to do anything to it… unless... it uses Miracle Eye.

Hunter J scoffed, pointing at Alakazam. "Salamence, use Crunch while the Alakazam is distracted!"

Blue didn't have time to give an order, because that Salamence was fast, it dived right at Alakazam and its enlarged teeth bite down on its leg, nearly snapping it in half! Alakazam gave a loud scream of pain.

"Alakazam!" Blue shouted, knowing that was painful. Alakazam may be powerful, but they are not known for their defenses- and so it fainted soon after the Salamence threw it to the ground.

Blue knew this woman was not kidding around, but this… To take down my Alakazam with one Crunch… she's gotten a lot stronger since the last time I saw her, and I hadn't been doing any training… This doesn't bode well for us. "Alakazam, return now!" He shot a beam from his Ultra Ball, returning the poor Alakazam into it.

"Konoha!" Ash yelled. "Quick, use Tackle on its feet!"

The Bulbasaur charged at the Drapion's legs, giving it a nice hard Tackle, making it lose its balance, and more of its strength was being sapped away by Leech Seed. "That's it! Now tie it up with Vine Whip!"

Konoha quickly wrapped his vines around the Drapion, making sure it couldn't move so the Leech Seed can continue sapping away its energy until it fainted- but unfortunately for both Konoha and Ash, Hunter J wasn't having any of it.

J crossed her arms, looking quite irritated. "Enough of this! Drapion, use Poison Sting while that Bulbasaur is so close."

Konoha shut his eyes and braced himself as the Drapion shot out venomous stingers at him- it didn't do too much damage, but it did still hurt.

"Finish it off with Ice Fang!" Hunter J commanded, glaring stonily at the plant Pokemon.

"Konoha! Get out of there!" Ash yelled, but it was too late- the Drapion's icy teeth chomped down on the Bulbasaur's bulb, and Konoha gave a cry of pain before he passed out. "No… Konoha…" Ash quickly recalled him back into his Heal Ball.

Hunter J laughed, she just defeated both of these two brats' Pokemon at once- of course they had more, but they didn't stand a chance against her and she knew it. "I'll make this easy on you both… either give me everything you own or you will die. Nothing in-between! I am going to need something quite rare to make up for the Kangaskhan I've missed because of you brats."

"You're crazier than you look if you think we'd just give up and give you everything we have." Ash snapped, clenching his fist.

"I'd rather die than give anything to you." Blue growled, looking even more furious at Hunter J's suggestion as he held up another Poke Ball.

"Then I'll obey your wish." she replied with a cruel smirk, snapping her fingers. "Salamence, use Flamethrower on the older boy. Drapion, use Poison Sting on the younger brat."

Ash gasped, his eyes widening in shock. "What!?"

Storm immediately jumped in front of Ash to protect him, quickly using Thunderbolt despite Ash not giving a command. "PIKACHUUUUU!" Thankfully, his powerful Thunderbolt managed to take out the Poison Sting attack.

Blue on the other hand didn't have a Pokemon already out to protect him, and he shut his eyes as if bracing for impact, but… oddly enough, some kind of psychic barrier protected him from the Flamethrower. "..." He slowly opened an eye, blinking. "...Eh?"

Hunter J didn't see the barrier, though, glaring at the two in growing frustration. "You two are getting on my nerves…! Drapion, use Cross Poison- that little rodent can't protect the brat from that!"

Now Ash knew what Blue meant by J being dangerous, attacking both humans and Pokemon without hesitation if they get in her way. "Storm!"

The Pikachu didn't need an order to know what he had to do, he ran at the Drapion before turning his tail to steel, and he swung his Iron Tail at the Drapion, making Cross Poison useless on the Steel type tail. Then his cheeks sparked as he let loose a weak electric attack. It didn't hurt the Drapion, but it did paralyze it, causing it to twitch with sparks of electricity, unable to move, and the Leech Seed Konoha planted on it before was starting to take its toll.

"How dare you try to hurt my best friend!" Storm snapped angrily, his cheeks still sparking as he growled lowly. "I won't forgive you for that!"

"Storm? Did… you just use Thunder Wave?" Ash blinked, surprised by that, but he was more than happy that Storm managed to use that move to give them the upper hand.

Blue frowned, enlarging the Poke Ball. "Hunter J, your confidence will be your downfall! Go, Dragonite!" With that, he tossed the ball, releasing a large dragon.

The Dragonite looked at Hunter J before glaring, growling out angrily, "I await your orders, Blue."

"A Dragonite, hmm?" Hunter J frowned, but she couldn't help but smirk slightly. "You do have a few rare Pokemon in your possession after all…"

"Don't even think about anything." Blue snapped at her. "Dragonite, use Ice Beam on that Salamence now!"

The yellow-orange dragon opened its mouth and shot out a blast of ice at the blue dragon. Hunter J knew ice was very deadly to Salamence, so she immediately ordered, "Flamethrower!"

The heat from the flames of Salamence's Flamethrower was hot enough to cancel out Dragonite's Ice Beam, making Blue grit his teeth and a bead of sweat to fall from the side of his face. Hunter J's really gotten stronger since the last time I've faced her…!

"Heh, what's the matter boy? Did your dragon run out of tricks already?" Hunter J taunted, crossing her arms. "Unlike you, my dragon still has quite a few surprises- have you noticed the beautiful stone around its neck?"

"That's it, Storm! Drapion's gotten weaker thanks to Leech Seed and getting hit by that Dragon Pulse earlier, let's finish it off now!" Ash said, excitedly pumping his fist. "Thunderbolt!"

Storm charged up his best Thunderbolt attack and let loose on the paralyzed Drapion! "CHUUUUUU!" The lightning struck the giant purple Pokemon down, and it fell unconscious, falling to the ground with a giant crash.

"..." Blue frowned, noticing that Hunter J didn't even seem to be upset by this new development. …She… still has more tricks to use?

Hunter J grinned cruelly, crossing her arms. "Well, looks as if you brats are quite the troublesome pair- perhaps I need to use my more powerful attacks, then…" She returned her unconscious Drapion back into its Poke Ball. "Now then, as I was saying- you've noticed the stone around my Salamence's neck, haven't you? Well I'll tell you right now… it's not there for decoration."

Ash frowned, looking at it curiously. "Then what is it for?" I don't think I've ever seen a stone like that before…

"..." Blue's eyes widened, clearly recognizing the stone now. "N-no way! You have a…!"

Hunter J's smirk grew, and she nodded slightly. "Looks as if you understand, foolish boy. I'll give you one last chance- hand over everything you have or I'll pick them off of your cold, dead bodies."

"None of our Pokemon are that rare, why do you care what we have?" Ash asked, mostly to stall for some time… for what exactly? A miracle. But then Ash looked over at Blue's Dragonite. "... Well… nevermind. Blue, what is it?"

Blue didn't look so good, in fact he looked ready to pass out himself. "Ash… do you know what a Mega Stone is?"

"Mega… Stone?" Ash blinked, confused- in all his years of learning from Mew, he's never heard or seen a Mega Stone before.

"I must apologize Ash… when that super weapon was made and fired in the region of Kalos's past, it killed many Pokemon and their spirits roamed the earth for a time, and all their energy from their souls created these powerful stones. They hadn't existed until after we went through that time travel war, Ash, that's why you don't know about them." Ash heard Mew mentally explain to him.

Blue nodded, nervously clenching his fist. "A Mega Stone is a powerful rock, useless on it's own… but where there's a Mega Stone, there's also…"

Hunter J held up one arm, tauntingly waving a bracelet on her wrist. "...A Key Stone. You need both for a Mega Stone's true power to be unleashed."

Ash frowned as beads of sweat began forming on the side of his head. So that's what that shiny thing on her wrist was… "And… what does it do exactly?"

Blue gritted his teeth, trying to think of a plan against Hunter J's newly unveiled Mega Stone. "It causes a Pokemon to grow much more powerful during a battle… it makes a Mega Evolution- with the right Mega Stone, any Pokemon could rival a legendary Pokemon."

Ash's eyes widened in shock, looking at Blue. "Mega Evolution!?"

Hunter J smirked, adjusting the visor on her face. "Rather than explain it to you, little naive brat, I'll just show you a demonstration. Salamence!"

"Yes." Salamence awaited for its Trainer's cue.

Hunter J suddenly touched the Key Stone on her bracelet and it began to glow brightly, "Now, MEGA EVOLVE!" she shouted as the Mega Stone around Salamence's neck began glowing too.

Ash had to cover his eyes as the bright light was becoming too much, but he managed to peek his eyes open to see the Salamence's glow interacting with the glow from Hunter J's Key Stone, and with a big blast, the Salamence suddenly took on a much more different form.

Blue gritted his teeth, also being forced to cover his eyes as the Salamence's wings fused with its body and it tucked its legs away, creating a crescent moon-like shape. This isn't good… Salamence was already powerful without Mega Evolution- but now…!

Both Ash and Storm were trembling in pure terror- they could sense so much power from the newly Mega Evolved Salamence that it's making them tremble. Blue, having more experience, was able to stare it down without trembling, but he was paling, knowing their chances of winning just severely dropped. What's going to happen to this place if they should fail to stop her?

Hunter J was riding the now Mega Salamence, and when the glow disappeared, she was smirking cruelly. "Now then… any last words before I crush you both and steal everything from your cold, dead bodies?"

DarkFoxKit: Okay, you've made it to the end of the chapter. I hope you guys enjoyed it! I will answer questions only via PM, so if you have a question, you must PM me, and if you're a guest without an account... then I won't answer you unless you really, REALLY need an answer or if I need to clear something up. Now as for the other announcement, I've been getting a lot of OC requests from you guys, and I appreciate it and it flatters me to see my story's gotten so popular it's gotten to the point people want to submit their own characters into my story. However, guys, I'm only one writer- since my co-writer left- and I can get easily overwhelmed with all these OCs, so I will not be taking any OCs unless they are background characters or a one time character. I apologize for this, but I'm only taking OCs from close online friends of mine. But you can still submit your OC hybrids as background characters for when we get into the rebellion war arc, but that's it, no big backstory for them will be present in this story, just their species and their main Pokemon they use. If you guys want, you can create your own OC hybrid stories as spin offs to my story, I won't mind and I like to see some creativity. Those can be your OC's backstory, and I can use the ANs to let other readers know about those stories so they can check it out. Now, I apologize for the lack of answers now, but I won't be doing ANs until announcements or I get another co-writer, so until then, I'll see ya'll next time! I am DarkFoxKit, and as always, I'll look forward to hearing from you.
