Chapter 25: Powers Untold
Ash, Storm, Blue and Dragonite were staring down an impossible battle! Hunter Jay and her Mega Salamence.
How? HOW!? How did she get a hold of a Key Stone and a Mega Stone!? Blue inwardly cursed. The only other person and Pokemon I know that used those were… Red and his Charizard. I heard those stones were rare, so how did she obtain them!?
That power… that aura… I've never felt anything… so dense and powerful… it's like it's suffocating me! Ash felt his body trembling, and he saw Storm doing the same in front of him- both of them felt like they were suffocating from the pure power itself radiating from that Mega Salamence.
Hunter Jay smirked cruelly, crossing her arms. "...Well? Which shall it be- life or death? Either way, you're not getting out of this with a single thing you currently have on you."
"S-Storm… w-we… we have to… focus." Ash staggered and struggled to say.
Storm had his ears down and his tail straight up. "I-I… I… don't know… i-if I can… m-move…"
"Ash! You can't let this fear overtake you! Please!" Ash heard Mew yell through their mental link.
Blue took a deep breath beside the two, calming himself as he clenched his fist. …Okay- so this will be a much tougher fight… but it's still possible. All we have to do is wear down that Mega Salamence!
"Blue, we can't let this slow us down- now is the time to take action and attack." Dragonite said calmly.
"Ash… Storm." Blue said to the two trembling beings beside him. "It's okay if you're scared, Dragonite and I will take it from here. You shouldn't be facing a Mega Evolved Pokemon yet, it's just too much for someone at your level right now."
Ash frowned, but looking over at the trembling Pikachu in front of him, there was no way Storm could fight like that. "Storm, return!"
Storm looked back at him and frowned, but he did managed to stop shaking and hurry back over to Ash. "I-I'm sorry Ash… I just… I just couldn't…"
"It's okay Storm, I don't blame you." Ash said with a small frown as he gave a small pet of reassurance to the still trembling Pikachu. But now what do I do? I don't think any of my Pokemon will be able to fight that Mega Salamence like this.
Ash felt one of the Poke Balls in his belt move, and he frowned as he took it out, seeing it was… the Cherish Ball? The ball suddenly popped open itself, releasing the shiny Charmander- she was glaring at the Mega Salamence.
"...Hmm?" Hunter Jay blinked, glancing at the shiny Charmander before her. "Interesting- you have a shiny Pokemon… Those sell quite high on the market, you know." She smirked evilly, her eyes shining with greed.
Ash gasped as he quickly said, "Scorch! Why did you come out of your ball!?"
Scorch turned to him and answered, "Because I want to protect you Ash. I don't care if this thing is a Mega Salamence or Arceus himself- I won't let them hurt you!"
"But now you're a target!" Ash frowned in concern, clenching his fist.
"I don't care, I won't leave you defenseless Ash." The golden Charmander replied before turning back to Mega Salamence and glaring, the flame on her tail burning hotter and bigger than ever before.
Hunter Jay took notice of the younger boy, he seems to be talking to his Charmander as if he's having an actual conversation. Just earlier she stated she'd capture that Kangaskhan brat because of his ability to talk to Pokemon, but his broken English left for something to be desired- this boy, however… if he could talk to Pokemon and speak fluent English, he may just be worth something after all.
Blue frowned, noticing Hunter Jay eyeing Ash, and he quickly stood in front of the younger boy. "Dragonite, use Dragon Claw on Salamence!"
Dragonite shot towards the Mega Salamence, its claws burning red as it tried to slash at it. Hunter Jay looked annoyed, growling out, "Get rid of this annoying dragon with Dragon Pulse."
Mega Salamence shot out a powerful energy blast from its mouth, it was so powerful that when it hit Dragonite, it caused a big shock wave that pushed Ash, Storm, Scorch and Blue back and made them hit the ground.
"Gah!" Blue winced, quickly standing up and frowning. Thankfully, his Dragonite had managed to withstand the Dragon Pulse and it slashed at Salamence, doing a bit of damage. "Use Dragon Claw again while you're up close to it!"
Ash and Storm were still trying to get up, Scorch looked up and noticed the Pokemon hunter was looking over at them- it was clear she wanted to target her and Ash specifically, so the golden Charmander quickly stood up in front him.
Dragonite gave a roar as he slashed at the Salamence again. Hunter Jay was getting past annoyed with Blue and his Dragonite, but without her petrifier, she can't capture the Dragonite so easily. "Tch… stubborn brats." she growled under her breath. "Use Hyper Beam- blast that dragon away from you!"
The Mega Salamence shot out a powerful, bright beam from its mouth, it hit Dragonite! The bulky Dragon/Flying type gave a yell as it was flung to the ground with a loud CRASH! Blue hurried over to Dragonite in concern, "D-Dragonite! Are you okay?" And he gasped when he saw it was out cold. No way…!
However, when Blue ran to Dragonite, he left Ash unprotected as Hunter Jay had her Mega Salamence fly towards the younger boy. When she was close enough to Ash that Blue couldn't stop her from doing anything in time, she smirked, staring at the younger boy. "So… you're able to communicate with both humans and Pokemon- impressive indeed. I suppose that explains that rare Charmander you own…"
Ash glared, clenching his fist. "What? How would you know if I was able to communicate with Pokemon?"
Scorch kept growling at the hunter as she refused to move from between Ash and the Mega Salamence before her. Storm himself was frozen in fear by how close that Mega Salamence was, and he couldn't help but feel ashamed of himself- he's supposed to be protecting Ash like the Charmander is doing, not hiding like a coward!
Hunter Jay just kept smirking as she pointed at the Charmander. "I'm not blind, boy- you were responding to what that Charmander said as if it was as clear as day. You'll fetch quite the price on the market as a servant…"
"NO! I WON'T LET YOU, YOU DIRTY HUNTER!" Scorch shouted angrily as she shot out a Flamethrower at Hunter Jay, which the Mega Salamence easily blocked when it lifted its head to protect her.
Storm jumped on Ash's shoulder and patted his head. "I may not be able to fight like this, but the least I can do is keep YOU from losing focus."
"Scorch!" Ash knew she didn't stand a chance against Hunter Jay's Mega Salamence, but if he didn't do something now she'll capture both of them! "Use your Ember, now!"
Scorch began spinning in a fast and rapid circle, using her tail flame to spread out fire- Ash was hoping this would help shield her a bit from that Salamence.
Hunter Jay raised an eyebrow at this, looking at the boy in disbelief. "You can talk to Pokemon, but the strongest move that Charmander knows is EMBER? Tch- that'll lower your price a bit…"
"Her strongest attack was that Flamethrower earlier and you know it- besides, the Ember was for defense, not offense." Ash glared in annoyance. "If you want strong, then here it is! Scorch, use your Slash on the Ember now!"
The golden Charmander's claws sharpened and she slashed at the little fireballs, it was like she was hitting them like pinballs, right at Mega Salamence's crescent wing and at Hunter Jay herself- leaving some scorch marks on her clothes.
The hunter's eyes widened, startled at how the boy used a combination to make Ember more dangerous. "You just…!" She paused before smirking more. "...Heh- impressive indeed. You may be no match for me… but you're much more powerful than you seem to be."
Ash glared, he was using desperation more than anything at this point- with Scorch being the only Pokemon he had that can stand up to Mega Salamence's powerful aura, he was really in a bind, and Hunter Jay was just toying with him. He knew she could've finished Scorch off easily with one attack, yet she's just watching in amusement, probably to asset how valuable she really is.
If only I had the weaknesses this Mega Salamence have… I don't have any Ice or- wait… that's it! "Scorch, use Dragon Rage now!"
"With pleasure!" Scorch shot out a dragon-shaped energy beam right at Hunter Jay and Mega Salamence, catching both off guard! The dragon-shaped energy chomped down on the Mega Salamence and was enough to hit it back a few feet to the ground, the woman on top of it wobbling slightly.
"Ghh…!" Hunter Jay gritted her teeth, quickly latching onto her Pokemon as she glared at him. "...Every time I think I've seen your limit, you surprise me again. So your Charmander knows Dragon Rage, hmm…?"
It's a long shot, but Dragon Rage is our best bet against that Mega Salamence. Ash glared, clenching his fist. "We're not going to give up so easily. Use Flamethrower and combine that with Dragon Rage!"
Scorch didn't hesitate to shoot out a stream of flame at Mega Salamence before shooting out the dragon-shaped energy with it, turning it into a fiery dragon!
Hunter Jay quickly pointed at Scorch. "Use Flamethrower- don't let that attack reach you!" Her Salamence quickly obeyed, firing out a stream of fire that stopped Scorch's attack right in its place. The two attacks canceled each other out, causing a heated combustion, and it blew Ash and Storm back a few feet- both were a bit scorched from that hot explosion.
Scorch turned and called out in concern, "Ash! Storm! Are you two okay?"
"Ugh…" Ash gritted his teeth, rubbing his arm that had been slightly singed in the explosion as he stood up. "Y-yeah, I'm fine! Just a bit hurt, but I can handle it."
"S-same here." The Pikachu spoke up from Ash's arms.
Hunter Jay narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms. "...You're a Trainer, aren't you boy? Tell me… how many of those badges have you received so far?"
Ash weakly stood up, but glared, clenching his fist. "What's it to you? Are you going to take and sell those badges off too? And if you really want to know, I have six right now."
"...Heh." Hunter Jay smirked a bit more, nodding thoughtfully. "I see… I'm going to assume they're from the Elite Gyms, am I right? You seem to be powerful enough to surpass them…"
"Elite Gyms?" Ash blinked at that- he knew there were more than just 8 gyms in the Kanto region, but… he didn't think they were the best of the best… "Why do you care anyway?" he demanded from her, mostly to stall for Blue to get back here.
"Why else?" Hunter Jay asked, shrugging cooly. "The more powerful you are, the more you're worth- by this point you're most likely in the hundred thousands. So don't try to run, or I'll be forced to damage you- understood?"
Scorch raised her arms as she stood in front of her Trainer, growling out, "No! You'll have to get by me to get to him!"
We're going to get creamed and captured at this rate, we have to run for it! Ash thought to himself before he ordered, "Scorch, Smokescreen!"
The shiny Charmander shot out black thick smoke from her mouth, covering Hunter Jay and her Mega Salamence in it. Unfortunately for Ash, he didn't take into account of her advanced technology, as she pushed a button on a small device on her head and a yellow glass appeared over her eyes like glasses.
"Hmph- stubborn brat…" she muttered to herself, quickly commanding her Salamence. "Use Hyper Beam to the left- don't let them escape!"
"Yes, my Mistress." Mega Salamence said before he charged up a powerful attack in his mouth.
"No!" Ash yelled, coming out of the Smokescreen just in time to see the huge dragon aiming right beside him!
Mega Salamence shot out the Hyper Beam! Scorch jumped in front of it to protect Ash from a direct hit, but it didn't stop the explosion that came soon after, causing Ash to flip into a tree, and Storm was forced out of his grasp and hit a rock nearby, causing both to fall to the ground, injured. Scorch herself was barely conscious, the flame on her tail was getting small.
"Tch… now the price has gone down." Hunter Jay muttered to herself, allowing her Mega Salamence to fly closer to the both of them. "That Charmander had better not die- it won't be as impressive a statue if it did…"
Ash felt sore, pain and tired, and he was barely able to lift his head. His Pikachu was struggling the same way, but poor Scorch… Ash weakly reached for her Cherish Ball to recall her- if she takes anymore damage, she'll die for sure. "Scorch…" Why? Why did you have to take a direct hit like that? You weren't strong enough to withstand such a Hyper Beam from that Salamence…
Hunter Jay landed the Mega Salamence as she jumped to the ground, slowly walking to the injured golden Charmander first and nudging it with her foot. "..." She sighed, reluctantly pulling out a spare petrifying ray and beginning to fiddle with it so she could put it onto her arm. I so hate to use my own resources like this… but if I do not, this veritable goldmine may simply die.
"Hey! What are you doing!?" Ash yelled as he saw her aim the petrifying device at Scorch. "Leave Scorch alone!"
The weakened Pikachu slowly stood up, Ash took notice of this. "Storm!" he called over.
Despite Storm's fear of that Mega Salamence, his cheeks were sparking- it seems he's had enough, he jumped and shot out waves of electricity. "Pika-chuuu!" It hit the Mega Salamence, paralyzing it with sparks of electricity! Storm had used Thunder Wave to give them an advantage and slowing down that speed demon.
Hunter Jay yelped at that as her Salamence shook a lot and its crescent wing shoved her a bit, causing her to accidentally let go of her petrifying ray. "No!" She tried to grab for it, but it hit the ground, breaking just like its previous one. "Ugh…!" The idiots who made this thing need to make it less susceptible to breaking!
"Hey, I was finally able to do something to that Mega Salamence!" The Pikachu said proudly to himself.
"Storm, look out!" Ash yelled just before Hunter Jay kicked the little electric mouse. "Hey! That's Pokemon abuse!"
Hunter Jay glared as she pointed at Ash himself, growling out dangerously, "I've had it with you and your Pokemon- it's time for you to go sleep, little boy."
Ash's eyes widened in horror when he saw the Mega Salamence glaring over at him. It was struggling to move thanks to Storm, but nothing was going to stop it from attacking him now.
Nothing, that is… except for a golden claw suddenly reaching out and grabbing it by the tail! "W-what the?" Mega Salamence's eyes widened, looking back in confusion.
"N-no… you… you will not… hurt Ash AGAIN!" Scorch growled before giving a small and mighty roar. And with that loud roar, her body began to glow brightly, surprising everyone in the area.
Ash's eyes widened at that and his jaw dropped, he couldn't believe what he was seeing! His own Charmander was… evolving! Storm opened his eyes and was in awe at this too. Hunter Jay and Mega Salamence glared, but Jay couldn't help but smirk as she began seeing a more valuable profit. After all, even a Charmeleon wouldn't be able to stand up to Mega Salamence, but a shiny Charmeleon would fetch an even higher price than a shiny Charmander ever would.
Scorch's body began to grow, her claws were getting longer and sharper, a small spike was growing on her head, her mouth was becoming a bit more pointed out like a dragon's maw, her tail became longer and her tail flame was bigger and hotter. Soon, her body stopped glowing and in the golden Charmander's place was now a golden Charmeleon, looking stronger and better than before! Scorch hadn't let go of the Mega Salamence's tail even during her evolution, and her grip was tighter than before.
"Let go, you little pest!" the Mega Salamence growled, trying to fly out of Scorch's grip, but the shiny Charmeleon stubbornly held on, doing her best to stay on the ground. "I said, LET GO!"
"S-Scorch!" Ash yelled, surprised that she had evolved. What the heck? Why did she…?
With Mega Salamence crippled from the paralysis Storm gave him earlier, he could barely get the newly evolved Charmeleon off his tail. Scorch gritted her teeth as she refused to let go. Ash weakly tried to get up- he knew Scorch was hanging on to protect him, but his body was weak from all those attacks earlier.
Storm was also trying to get up, his cheeks sparking with electricity. "I'll... fight... too, Ash."
Hunter Jay frowned, crossing her arms. "Your Charmander may have evolved, but it won't help you for long. Salamence, use Flamethrower- get that lizard off your tail!"
Mega Salamence turned back at Scorch and began powering up its Flamethrower, but Scorch wasn't going to have any of that. She gave a smirk before she released one of her claws and wagged a finger at him. "Ah-ah-ah~ You shouldn't take your eyes off your opponent."
This confused the Salamence, but then Storm suddenly came up behind him and Iron Tail the back of his head! "GAH! When did you-!?" He growled, quickly firing off a Hyper Beam at the Pikachu, but the Pikachu quickly dodged, using Quick Attack to speed himself up.
Mega Salamence was going to use another Hyper Beam, but the golden Charmeleon opened her mouth, showing her sharp teeth and they were literally on fire, before she bit down hard on the Salamence's tail, using Fire Fang. Mega Salamence roared out in pain from the burning tail, as despite being a Dragon type, it still stung.
Hunter Jay was beginning to lose her patience with these weak little pests that refused to give up- they're like annoying little Bug types. "I've had enough of this. Mega Salamence, time to bid these pests good-night- Hyper Beam the whole forest!"
"W-wha!? NO!" Ash managed to stand up for a moment before being forced to one knee again, his injuries still stinging. "Guh…!"
Mega Salamence smirked slightly as he began charging up a Hyper Beam… up until a huge blast of water slammed him in the side, forcing the energy to fizzle away as he wobbled in the air. "OW!"
Ash turned, surprised to see a Blastoise coming out of the woods with Blue on top of it. "Blue! Hey, it's about time you came back!"
Blue jumped down and hurried to Ash, rubbing the back of his neck. "Y-yeah, sorry about that, I got kind of held up since Dragonite wasn't looking too good. You know, you're not looking too good yourself- are you sure you're okay?"
"Y-yeah… I'm fine, we've just been holding off the hunter for ya." Ash said with a chuckle despite the situation.
Blue frowned slightly at that, raising an eyebrow, but he shook his head and pointed at Mega Salamence. "Alright then, Blastoise, use Hydro Pump again- blast that dragon out of the sky!"
Hunter Jay looked annoyed, but far from defeated, and she growled out, "Dragon Pulse."
Mega Salamence easily canceled out Blastoise's Hydro Pump with a powerful Dragon Pulse, but he cringed when he felt his body sparking with electricity from the Thunder Wave earlier.
Storm went back over to Ash, and he panted, tired and injured from earlier. "A-Ash… I don't think I can fight right now…"
Ash nodded to him, rubbing his friend's ears reassuringly. "You did well Storm- you already did what you had to do, and that gave us a big advantage."
Scorch stood beside Blue's Blastoise, and Blue then took notice of the shiny Charmeleon and looked at Ash. "Ash… did your Charmander evolve?"
Ash nodded, smiling slightly. "Just now, I think she did to save me from that Salamence."
Blue's Blastoise looked down at the Charmeleon beside him, raising an eyebrow. "I don't know if someone so young can take on a Mega Salamence."
"Oh yeah? You want to bet on that ya giant turtle?" Scorch smirked at him.
The Blastoise just shook his head, but he didn't respond, instead glaring at the Mega Salamence. Blue frowned, standing up and crossing his arms. "Use Hydro Pump again, Blastoise- get that Salamence out of the sky!"
Blastoise shot out a powerful blast of water from his cannons, and the Salamence flew in the sky, avoiding the attack, but it was still having a hard time moving due to paralysis.
"Again!" Blue ordered, swiping a hand to the side.
Blastoise kept shooting out more water at the Mega Salamence, until eventually the paralysis got the better of it, freezing it in place long enough for the Hydro Pump to hit Salamence dead in the center of its stomach.
Hunter Jay scowled in annoyance as the Mega Salamence crashed to the ground, and as it quickly rose back up to the sky, she pointed at the Blastoise. "It's time to end this! Dragon Rush- crush that turtle into a pulp!"
Mega Salamence gave a roar as he dived at the Blastoise, and a huge dragon-like aura covered its body as it came right at the Blastoise!
"Withdraw now!" Blue quickly ordered.
Blastoise immediately withdrew into its shell just before the Salamence hit him, and it caused a devastating quake in the area just from the sheer power of that Dragon Rush! Ash was blown into a rock from the shockwave, even Blue was knocked over to the ground. Storm flipped over on the grass, but he looked up and gasped when he saw Ash had hit his head.
Scorch glared as she stood her ground before looking up, seeing the Mega Salamence looking tired. She looked back to see Ash was losing consciousness after banging his head on that rock earlier. She glanced back at the Mega Salamence and glared angrily, the flame on her tail growing bigger from her rage. "How dare you…!"
Blue frowned, quickly getting up and running over to the younger Trainer. "Ash! Ash, you okay?" He gritted his teeth, seeing the raven-haired boy was practically knocked out. "Blastoise, use Ice Beam!"
Blastoise came out of its shell, it looked rather beaten from that Dragon Rush but still good to go, and it immediately shot out Ice Beam from its mouth at the Mega Salamence.
"Dragon Pulse!" Hunter Jay demanded.
Salamence retaliated with Dragon Pulse, and the two attacks canceled each other out, causing another mini explosion. Thankfully, this time it didn't do any damage to the ones who were taking part of the battle, but it did push them away a bit.
Storm was shaking Ash, clearly very worried for the boy as he cried out, "Ash! Ash, please wake up! Ash! Don't you die on me now!"
Scorch wasn't taking this sitting down, as she jumped on top of the Mega Salamence when it was low enough and used Fire Fang to bite down on the tip of its wing HARD! She didn't let go as the Salamence felt its wing being burned and ripped into.
Going wild from the searing pain, the Mega Salamence was shooting out its Hyper Beam everywhere, including one that went right at Ash! Blue and Scorch immediately gasped at this. "ASH!" the new Charmeleon cried out.
"NO! GET UP!" Blue yelled, both Pokemon and human standing too far away to actually stop it.
Storm turned to see the incoming Hyper Beam and began panicking. "AAAAAH!"
Then, all of a sudden, a pink barrier covered the boy and the Pikachu, deflecting the Hyper Beam back at the Salamence and causing it to whimper as it fell to the ground with the Charmeleon still on top of it.
"...W-what the?" Blue blinked, caught off-guard at the pink barrier. "What the heck… just…" He trailed off, noticing a pink cat suddenly floating between Ash and the Mega Salamence. …N-no way…!
Ash barely opened his eyes to see his Memma in front of him. "M-Memma…" With that single word spoken, he closed his eyes and lost consciousness.
Storm looked at Ash, tears glistening in his eyes. "A-Ash…"
"It's okay my little child, I'll make sure you don't get hurt again." Mew said gently to him before her body lit up brightly with pink Psychic energy, the energy was building up more and more, and it rippled, almost like it was on fire.
Scorch quickly jumped off the Mega Salamence and ran over to her unconscious Trainer, she knew Mew would take care of this and the Legendary was ticked. It's scary enough if you messed with a Pokemon's child, but it's like putting a gun to your head and squeezing the trigger if you messed with a LEGENDARY Pokemon's kid.
Hunter Jay clearly realized the pink cat was angry, as she paused, suddenly looking nervous. "Urk…!" T-this brat has MEW for a guardian!? As much money as a Legendary would be, this one's not worth it! "Salamence, get us out of here, NO-"
Mew wasn't going to let them go so easily, though, as she fired a powerful Psychic blast right at the Salamence and Hunter Jay herself, causing a huge explosion. Despite her fury, though, Mew was sure to keep anyone that was not Hunter Jay or Salamence safe with her Psychic barriers, and afterwards, the two were on the ground, in a crater, badly wounded and unconscious, as the Mega Salamence reverted back to a regular Salamence. Mew floated over them and glared before she picked up the Key Stone and Mega Stone with her Psychic powers. "Anyone willing to use these to hurt the innocent doesn't deserve them at all- you'd better be happy I went easy on you or you wouldn't be breathing right now!"
"..." Blue stared at the Mew, still completely shocked as his jaw dropped. "...Wha- bu- a Mew… that's…"
Mew floated to Blue and looked at him, as if studying him before she spoke up. "I know you can understand me Blue, and I know… who you really are. I've been watching you and how you've interacted with my precious child."
Blue looked back over at Ash, who was still unconscious. His Pikachu and shiny Charmeleon were gathered around him, making sure he's okay, and the older Trainer hesitated. After all, this was shocking news to him- Mew just called Ash her precious child! "..." He glanced back at Mew, feeling more than a bit nervous of the Pokemon who could turn him to dust. "...You mean Ash, right?"
"Yes. I've raised Ash since he was only 3 when he lost his real parents." Mew answered him.
"But why are you telling me this?" Blue frowned, still staring at the pink cat legendary.
Mew smiled at him, "Because, like I said before, I know you, you can't hide ALL your secrets from me as easily as you can with Ashy." The two stones that were floating next to her flew slowly in front of Blue.
"What are you doing?" Blue asked, still in awe as he held out his hands and Mew let the two stones fall into them.
"I am entrusting you with these two stones, the Key Stone and the Salamencite, if anyone deserves them it's you, Blue." Mew said softly.
"But why give them to me? Why not Ash?" Blue asked.
"Ash doesn't want to be given his victories and he's still got a lot to learn, he would rather earn his Key Stone rather than have it given to him and I don't believe he's ready to handle Mega Evolution yet either, but you are and you're the only one I trust to use these properly." Mew explained to him.
The former Kanto Champion looked at the Key Stone and the Salamencite in his hands before he put them in his pocket, "Thanks… I may not use them, but… at least it's not being held by Hunter Jay anymore."
Mew nodded to him before she flew over to Ash, Blue watched, seeing the boy's golden Charmeleon holding up Ash while Storm was trying to clean his face with a wet leaf, before he felt something moving in his backpack, it was the baby Kangaskhan that was hiding during the battle.
"Is it over?" The baby asked timidly.
"Yeah, thankfully." Blue said with a sigh of relief. "Blastoise, you did good out there."
Blastoise nodded, "Anything for you Blue."
Blue sighed again before he held up his Poke Ball. "Return." He returned his Blastoise into the ball. "I better send these three back to Professor Oak."
Mew put her hands on Ash's chest and glowed, her pink aura caused Ash's aura to flare, his wounds were healing at an unnatural rate, Blue could even sense the two auras interacting and Ash's felt pretty strong for a human. Still, this was Blue's first time actually seeing Mew in the flesh, so he couldn't stop staring at her as she healed her child from that battle. Storm and Scorch were just silently watching, as if trusting Mew to take care of him.
The baby Kangaskhan gave a smile, probably watching the scene too, "That's so nice, Memmas always take good care of their children, I know mine does, they get sad when we get hurt or upset."
"Yeah… that's true." Blue said, watching the two, thinking about something from his own past.
But before Blue can get too nostalgia, he heard sirens and they were coming into the area, Officer Jenny must've finally gotten news that something was going on here, how long did the battle last? "Mew, we better get Ash to a more secluded area, this place is going to be flooded with cops since Officer Jenny's probably got a strong reading from that battle earlier."
Mew looked over at Blue and nodded, "Very well, I trust you'll take care of things here until Ashy's recovered." She then closed her eyes and Blue saw herself, Ash, Storm and Scorch disappear in flash, concluding she had used teleport on them, leaving Blue to take care of the police, making sure they arrest Hunter Jay and help find the baby Kangaskhan's mother.
