Ah, here we go. Sorry I didn't update last week, it wasn't because I wasn't able to, I just... um... forgot? ^^' I was busy with other things that I forgot to update this. But anyways, folks, there are only about a couple or so chapters left. After that I'm going on a break from Child of Mew for a while so I can focus on my Undertale, Mother 3 and Danny Phantom fanfiction. Don't worry, it's not forever, I just really need a break from this series. My birthday's coming up soon, if you all remember when it is. I always get the birthday blues, I just don't like the thought of getting older. Anyways, here's the next chapter, hope you guys enjoy it!

Chapter 45: The Hatching

Ash was taking a break on the couch from all that training. It took a while, but he was confident that the team he left with Prof. Oak had caught up to the main team he's been using, now he's gotta start training them soon.

"Geez Ash, you seem so stressed lately. Maybe you should relax more," Storm suggested, worried for his young trainer's health.

"I'm fine, Storm. I have to be ready for anything. You never know when Team Rocket may attack, or when the war begins," Ash said, as he was holding the egg Alicia gave to him a week ago.

"Yeah, I know, but you're working yourself to the ground. I'm starting to get worried," Storm said. "Not to mention you'll have to take care of a baby mon soon."

Mew flew over Ash and was looking out the window, twitching her tail a bit. "Hey Ashy, looks like your rival's home. I can see that bright red car and those loud cheerleaders coming in already."

"Huh? I didn't even know he left," Ash said.

"Yup, he went out to continue training since he didn't have a Memma to change reality around him on a whim," Mew giggled.

"Hey, maybe you could go hang out with him?" The Pikachu suggested.

Ash gave Storm a deadpanned look, "Why would I want to do that?"

"Just a thought that maybe you two should hang out a little more?" Storm said innocently.

"Oh please, you just want to see my reactions to Gary's tauntings," Ash grumbled.

Then they heard the loud girls outside screaming their fangirl screams. Ash growled at how loud and obnoxious they were.

"Those girls look much older than Gary anyways, why are they always hanging around him like he's some hot celebrity anyways?" Ash grumbled. "I don't think Blue had all this popularity when he left Pallet Town!"

"Well Blue cared more about getting stronger with his team than all the popularity," Mew said. "Perhaps you would like to teach him a lesson in humility? I'd do it, but I don't want to traumatize the poor child."

Ash raised an eyebrow as Mew gave a devious giggle. "And yet you had no problems doing that to me."

Mew smiled at him, "You're a special case, Ashy. You're my child after all."

Ash just sighed before he stood up, "Well, I suppose I should at least find out what he's been up to. You coming, Storm?"

Storm shrugged, "I've nothing better to do."

The Pikachu climbed on Ash's shoulder, though Ash could see a smirk on his face. Ash just rolled his eyes, knowing Storm was coming along just to see the show.

When Ash came outside, Gary was out there with a Poke Ball in his hand and the girls all watching him in silence.

"Gary? What are you doing?" Ash asked.

Gary turned and shushed him, "Shhh! Can't you see I'm trying to catch a rare Pokemon?"

"What?" Ash blinked before noticing a familiar Mr. Mime not too far away. That Mr. Mime is still here?

"Mr. Mime don't normally hang around here, so it's a rare catch," Gary said. "Not that you would know that, Ash. … What's with that egg you got there? Is that a toy?"

Ash was still holding the egg and frowned, "For your information, Gary, it's a real Pokemon egg, and I'm taking care of it."

"Hah, yeah right, you couldn't take care of a baby Kangaskhan let alone an egg!" Gary laughed, before he turned serious. "I'll have time to deal with you later. I've got to focus on this Mr. Mime before it gets away."

"Hold it!" Ash stopped him.

"What now?" Gary snapped.

"You said it yourself; Mr. Mime don't live around here. I think this one might've been abandoned or gotten lost," Ash said.

"So?"

"Maybe we should, I don't know, help it?"

Gary gave Ash a deadpanned look, "We're Pokemon Trainers, Ash, we're supposed to be capturing and training Pokemon, not being a charity to them."

Ash sighed before he said, "Well if we don't help Pokemon, then who will? Come on Gary, at least let me try to talk to it."

"We can't talk to Pokemon, loser," Gary rolled his eyes.

"I just mean calm it down and try to figure out how it got here, okay?" Ash said, losing his patience.

Gary crossed his arms, "You have a weird way of dealing with these things. But fine, I'd like to see how you'd handle this, Ash."

Ash gave a small sigh of relief before he walked over to the Mr. Mime.

"Are you sure about this, Ash? What if it's aggressive? You still have that egg in your arms you know," Storm said in concern.

"If it was really aggressive, it would've attacked us when we first saw it," Ash said as he slowly approached the Mr. Mime. "Uh… hi there, Mr. Mime… are you lost?"

The Mr. Mime stood defensively, staring at the both of them, tilting it's head in curiosity. "What are you doing with that egg?"

"I'm keeping it warm against my body," Ash answered. "Are you interested in it?"

The Mr. Mime tilted it's head in the other direction. "A human should not be taking care of a Pokemon egg."

"Hey, I know I'm new to this, but cut me some slack. I was just wondering if you're lost or anything, maybe you need some help getting back home?" Ash asked.

Another tilt. "How is it that you can understand me?" She seemed to have a habit of answering questions with more questions.

"I just learned how to understand Pokemon. Humans can actually learn how to understand Pokemon languages, it just takes a bit of practice and time… and a lot of exposure to Pokemon," Ash answered. "Now you still haven't answered my question; are you lost?"

Her head was straight now. "I do not like liars, child."

"How could you tell if he was lying?" Storm demanded.

"I'm a Psychic type, you ionized little dolt."

"Hey! It was just an innocent question! I've had it with Psychic types at this point…" Storm grumbled.

Ash waved off Storm and said, "Well I wasn't lying, I really did learn how to understand Pokemon. I just didn't specify how I did. Do you really need to know?"

"Omission is merely another form of lying. And if you won't answer my questions, why should I answer yours?"

"She's a real stubborn one. Maybe we should just let Gary catch her," Storm said to Ash with annoyance in his voice.

"Storm, be nice now," Ash scolded the Pikachu. "Well is it okay if I just told you how I learned to understand Pokemon? I don't want to go into the details for privacy reasons."

"Do as you will."

Ash gave a small sigh of relief before he said, "Well I was raised by a mythical Pokemon. Because of her, I'm able to understand Pokemon. She raised me in a human environment so I would grow up like a human would too. Is that satisfying enough for you?"

This caught the Mime's attention. "You are one of the Children?"

"So you know of us?" Ash said with an intriguing thought.

"I've heard stories. But I have my doubts. Legendary Pokemon, our creators and guardians, taking humans as children? It's almost blasphemy."

"Well they have their reasons," Ash said. "But I've answered your question, now it's your turn to answer mine."

The Mime sighed. "I am not lost. Not in the usual sense of the word anyway. I've been in this forest for years now."

"Oh? But Mr. Mime don't usually live around here," Ash said. "And we've just now started seeing you."

"I've gotten careless. Believe me, if you give me another day, I'll disappear again."

"Well if I leave you now, you're going to be targeted by Pokemon Trainers, Mr. Mime aren't exactly common around here," Ash said, before the egg in his arms began to glow faintly, showing signs that it's close to hatching.

The Mime took notice of this and pointed. "You'd better set that egg down, child."

Ash looked at the glowing egg as it began to wobble a bit, before gently setting the egg down like Mr. Mime told him.

"Hey Ash! What's the hold up?" Gary called.

"Gary, could you go and get Prof. Oak? He might be able to help this Mr. Mime," Ash said to him, mostly wanting him to leave.

"What? But-"

"Please Gary? Just go get Prof. Oak," Ash begged.

Gary frowned at him before crossing his arms, "Fine, I'll go get Grandpa, but you better make sure that Mr. Mime doesn't go anywhere!"

With that said, Gary and his fangirls left Ash and the Mr. Mime, making Ash sigh in relief.

"That should buy us some time," Ash said before looking at the egg. "Is it… going to hatch now? What should I do? Do I need to get milk first? Or maybe a towel and some hot water?"

"This is a Fairy Type, is it not?"

"Huh? O-oh, yeah, it's a Fairy type," Ash said with a nod. "Oh… I forgot, Mr. Mime are half Fairy types too, right?"

The Mime nodded. "Fairy Types spend a lot of energy hatching from the egg. You'll need something to absorb the excess energy. A Dark Type Pokemon usually works best. Otherwise, the child will hurt itself trying to hatch."

"A Dark type? Okay," Ash took out one of his Poke Balls and released another Pikachu. "Trixie, release that illusion!"

Trixie laughed before she said, "I bet you never really see Storm coming out of a ball! But fine." She discarded the illusion, showing her true species as a Zorua. "What's going on?"

Without giving her an answer, the Mr. Mime roughly grabbed the Zorua and placed it next to the egg, and turned to Ash. "She'll be absorbing a lot of energy. So don't be surprised if she evolves in the next few days."

"Ehh?" Trixie looked at the egg in shock. "What am I? A power source now?"

"Actually, you're more like a ground wire."

"Trixie, just stay beside the egg until it hatches, please," Ash said softly.

The Zorua just sighed and stayed where she was.

Ash looked at the Mr. Mime, "Anything else?"

"Yeah. Stand back. Just in case."

The egg began to glow brighter and brighter, it was wobbling around violently. Trixie used her paws to try and hold it still. Then there was a crack in the egg.

Storm frowned before he said, "Ash, you need to make sure you're the first thing the newly hatched Pokemon sees. Newborn mons imprint on the first being they see once they're out of the egg. If you're going to raise it, I suggest you let it imprint on you first."

"I can probably help with that with my illusions by making you all a part of the grass or rocks, just don't move," Trixie said.

Ash nodded to the Pikachu before getting closer to the egg as the cracks grew larger.

Trixie used her illusions to make herself look like a rock, while making Storm look like grass and the Mr. Mime like a bush.

Ash sat in front of it while the stubby little arms starts coming out first, then its little feet came out. Soon the top of the egg completely broke off and a spiky head popped out of it.

The Pokemon is indeed a Togepi, and it gave a yawn before blinking its eyes open. The first thing it saw was Ash smiling at it.

"Hello there. Welcome to the world little one," Ash said softly to it.

The Togepi blinked at Ash for a few seconds, before it gave a happy giggle.

"Hey, is it safe to undo the illusion now?" Trixie asked, still as a rock.

"Yeah, I think so," Ash said while the Togepi kept giggling.

"You'll need to keep a close eye on her. Fairy types are troublemakers. To playful for their own good."

Ash nodded to the Mr. Mime. "Thanks. I've never raised a baby Pokemon before. I might need some help."

The Mime sighed. "I suppose I could offer my assistance. I've always had a way with children. After all, I helped take care of you before your mother was killed."

Ash looked at the Mr. Mime and said, "What?"

The Mime pointed at Ash. "Your mother was killed by a Fearow and his flock, was she not? I was not her Pokemon, but she and I enjoyed a unique friendship. She gave me food and shelter, and in return, I would clean her home and help take care of her child. You."

Ash squinted his eyes as he looked at her, "I don't… really remember you… but is that why you stuck around here?"

The Togepi was playing with Ash's fingers. Trixie and Storm were looking at him and Mr. Mime.

The Mime nodded. "I thought I recognized you several weeks ago, when you returned." She sighed. "It's actually been a long time since I've been this close to Pallet Town. But I couldn't bring myself to go too far away. The farthest I ever went was Viridian Forest."

"Well… if you want, you can come with me and help me take care of this Togepi. I'm sure Memma would love to have someone taking care of her house once in awhile," Ash suggested.

The Mime thought before smiling and nodding. "I would like that. A place to call home again. And there's no way you'll be able to take care of this little one alone."

"Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence," Ash said sarcastically. "But great! We should go soon before Gary comes back with Prof. Oak."

Ash brought home the Mr. Mime and showed her and the newly hatched Togepi to Mew. Mew looked pretty giddy at seeing the two Fairy types. Togepi herself giggled at Mew, seeming to take a liking to the playful Psychic cat.

"Wow, so you're gonna be like a personal maid?" Mew giggled after Ash introduced the Mr. Mime.

The Mime was awestruck, finding out that the child she knew so long ago was being raised by Lady Mew herself. She gave a deep bow. "Yes, Mother Mew. It will be an honor."

"Don't bother with the respecting tones, it'll wear off really quickly," Storm grumbled, remembering how much in awe he was when he first saw Mew.

Mew snapped her little fingers and the Pikachu found himself in a pink bubble. "No need to be so rude now."

Storm just glared in annoyance.

Mew turned her attention back at the Mime. "Well then, it'll be nice to have someone around to clean the house every once in awhile, and to show my little Ashy how to take care of a baby mon. Do you have a name you refer yourself as?"

The Mr. Mime nodded. "My Memmas called me Anima."

"Then we will call you Anima from now on. Welcome to the family!"

Anima smiled and gave another bow. "Thank you, Mother Mew."

Mew then turned to Ash and smiled, "I can't believe I'm already a grandmon! Are you going to name your baby?"

Ash blushed in embarrassment, "Memma! It's not really my own child!"

"But you hatched her, and she imprinted on you. And you intend to raise her as your own. How is she not your child now?" Mew was grinning at him.

Ash just groaned, "Memma, just don't, please! And… as for a name…" he looked down at the Togepi in his arms. She was smiling up at him. "She's like a sweet little angel… so I'll call her Angel."

Trixie was snickering at Storm while he was still in the bubble. Storm himself was using Iron Tail to try and get out.

"By the way, Anima… what do Fairy types like to eat?" Ash asked.

Another two weeks went by since then. Gary would come and go from Pallet Town to train his Pokemon more. Ash himself stayed in Pallet Town to either train or take care of Angel. With Anima helping him out, Ash was learning how to raise the Togepi. Angel cried when she got hungry, upset or injured, and she enjoyed playing with Storm since he's always out and around Ash, he's become like Angel's cousin. Mew, as playful as she is, was careful when she played with Angel. No Mew Games or rough playing with her. Ash would freak out if she did that.

Things were going relatively well, the training was a bit of a slow progress, but it was coming along. But then it happened.

"That's it Konoha, take in the sunlight and release as an energy beam!" Ash ordered his Bulbasaur.

Ash was outside in the yard, training Konoha how to use Solar Beam. Anima was babysitting Angel while he was training. Storm was just relaxing and sipping some pecha berry juice.

"Alright, here it goes!" Konoha tried to release the Solar Beam after absorbing the sunlight into his bulb, but all that came out as a Leech Seed. "... Oh come on! I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong…"

Ash sat down next to the Bulbasaur and gave him a reassuring pat on the bulb. "Hey, it's okay Konoha. We'll figure it out somehow. Maybe it might help if we could ask another Bulbasaur that knows how to use Solar Beam how it's done."

"But there aren't any Bulbasaur near the area, unless you count the ones in Professor Oak's lab, and I doubt any of them knows how to use Solar Beam," Konoha sighed. "I really want to learn how to use it. I want to be stronger this time, so maybe I can actually do something when the war starts."

"Hey, you're pretty strong even without Solar Beam, Konoha. You did really well in Giovanni's gym," Ash said.

"Yeah, I have been getting a lot stronger since I became your partner," Konoha smiled as the sun began to set.

Ash looked up and said, "Looks like it's getting late. We should wait until tomorrow to continue, after all how are you going to use Solar Beam without the sun, right?"

Konoha was about to nod in agreement when he felt kind of funny. His body began to tremble a bit and he felt tired.

Ash took notice of Konoha's strange behavior, "Huh? What's wrong, Konoha? Did we overdo it?"

Konoha frowned as he laid on his stomach and said, "I… I don't… know… I just… feel a weird… tingly feeling on my back."

Ash approached Konoha to see if he was getting sick, but then his bulb began to glow slightly. The boy looked at Konoha's bulb in shock as it glowed a faint blue-greenish color.

"Ash… w-what's happening to me?" Konoha asked in fear that he was getting sick.

"Calm down, Konoha. I'm sure it's nothing bad… uh… let's go ask Memma, she should know," Ash said softly, trying to calm the Bulbasaur down.

Ash gently picked up Konoha and carried him into the house. Storm frowned as he witnessed the scene and ran in after them.

"Maybe he's finally learning Solar Beam after soaking up all that sunlight?" Storm suggested.

"I don't think that's it, Storm," Ash said. "If it was Solar Beam, then Konoha would be able to release it from his bulb, not make his bulb glow like that."

They head into Ash's room, where Anima was feeding Angel, and Mew was taking a cat nap on a bean bag.

"Memma!" Ash called to Mew. "Memma wake up!"

Mew groaned and turned away, "Five more minutes Ashy…"

Ash got on his knees and used his free hand to try and shake her a bit, "Memma, this is serious! Something's going on with Konoha's bulb and we would rather not have to run all the way to Virdian City just to have a Nurse Joy check him out."

Mew grumbled and turned back to them, groggily opening one of her eyes, looking at Konoha. Then she sat up and stretched, "Huh… so it's almost that time of year, huh? I'm not surprised that Konoha's affected since he's become quite strong."

"What are you talking about, Memma?" Ash asked.

Mew gave a yawn before she said, "Oh stop worrying about Konoha, Ashy, he's fine. His bulb is glowing like that to indicate he's getting ready to evolve. Around certain times of the year, the Bulbasaur in this region will gather into a mysterious garden that started from tradition in the ancient past. Well ancient for you humans and modern Pokemon anyway. The tradition usually has a Venusaur as the Evolution Guru who overlooks the evolution festival of the Bulbasaur family."

"So are you saying that I'm… going to go to that garden?" Konoha asked.

"Well, if you want to evolve into Ivysaur, I'd say it would be in your best interest. Besides, if you don't, the other Bulbasaur could sense you're close to evolution and may try to hunt you down," Mew gave a playful wink.

"Where is this mysterious garden?" Ash asked.

"It changes every year, so it's hard to say where it is. But the Bulbasaur just seems to know how to get there, following the pollen of blooming flowers," Mew said. "Also, up to this day, about a record of 17 humans had a glimpse of that mysterious garden before it vanishes, so not many know of its existence. It's mysterious for a reason, after all, the Bulbasaur don't want any interference during their evolution festival."

"Wow, congratulations Konoha, you're going to be an Ivysaur soon!" Storm smiled at the Bulbasaur in Ash's arms.

Konoha didn't respond to that, and became deep in thought.

Later, that night, Konoha was outside the house, looking at the full moon. He gave a sigh as he looked at the flowers around him; they were blooming and giving off sparkling pollen. To any other creature, it just looks like they're giving off pretty sparkles, but to Konoha himself, he could see a trail. A trail that would most likely lead him to that mysterious garden Mew talked about.

"Evolution, huh? I never thought about it…" Konoha said to himself.

DarkFoxKit: Oh? What's this? Konoha is ready to evolve? Do you guys think he should evolve? Also, I just want to clear something up for you guys; my cat isn't dead, she just went missing. And you'll be happy to know that we found her... stuck in a tree. She's okay though and is now currently sleeping on top of the couch. But I wasn't having the best of days, so please forgive me for my negativity, but I am very grateful to all of your supports. Oh, and I should mention the Togepi won't play a big part until after the war, because would you send a baby into a war? I didn't think so. Anyways, time to answer the reviews!

PsychicEevee0103: I did lose two cats a few months ago. I miss them, and worry for them, but at least this one came back. And yeah, it feels nostalgic to come back home for both Ash and the fans. :)

KaliAnn: Bad days happens to everyone, if I couldn't get over it then I have a real problem. ^^' And I had a feeling people wanted to see Ash's old Pokemon again, it was just easier for me to use a constant team of six rather than constantly changing the Pokemon, it made it hard to remember what he had. I'll try to let Ash use some of the other ones once in a while. The Alicia was actually Aegis Dragon's idea, and it was a good excuse to give Ash the Togepi egg that people's been asking since the beginning of Child of Mew.

Devanor: Yeah, it does. Well I'm glad it wasn't a mess, but I do want to get to the war soon, no point in dragging things out anymore. Thank you for our condolences, so have I actually, but it still hurts when it happens. As for the 'something wrong with me' comment, I meant mentally. I'm very anti-social in real life, and I always feel too co-dependent and useless. It's not really the best feeling in the world.

Caboose-TMC: Wow, talk about a funny coincidence. ^^' What did your egg hatched into? As for why I believed my story was a mess, well... I was feeling very crummy when I saw this new reviewer criticizing my chapters, so I took it as a 'this story is one big mess'. I should say that I struggle from low self esteem. I'm trying to take in constructive criticism, but most of the time I take it much harsher than I should. And by that I don't mean getting easily offended by it, more like making me believe the work I've done was nothing but a big mess, especially on my off days. Don't feel like you have to worry about being honest with me though, I do want to improve any way I can. And I guess most problems with people is that they don't like change, so if something were to change drastically in the story, like adding in the hybrids, naturally they're going to complain. And anyways, thank you for enjoying and supporting this story.

ultima-owner: Maybe a little bit.

Shadowdragon1317: It's fine, I have my bad days just like everyone else. It's just when I'm feeling down, I often believe everything I do is 'never good enough' due to my low self esteem. Thank you for your support, it's very much appreciated. And Ash going baby daddy would be pretty funny.

Foreman88: Yay, glad you can catch up. :D The Mewtwo thing happens in the next arc.

thor94: Essentially the hybrid will join him if he proves he can take care of Togepi, but most likely she already joined his side, she just wanted to give him a test. Mew can be a good mom, she just has... different methods of raising a child.

Lover of Pokemon: Thank you for your support. I do wish I was detail oriented, maybe it would make my story better.

the real dark misery: Was that a pun?

Awesomeness: Yeah, I guess people complain because they were expecting this Ash to be stronger, smarter and is actually a Mew. This stuff happens later, but I guess people aren't very patient. ^^' I just tend to see the things I do a mess when I'm feeling down, because of my low self esteem. In fact, there were many moments where I wanted to just delete Child of Mew and completely reboot it, the only thing that stopped me were the fans telling me to finish it and not reboot it. Yeah, I've seen plenty of stories who have the main character become super strong, which I never understood why they couldn't show us how they became that way, other than a backstory that should've been the true beginning. Key is... hard to read, but I guess maybe he is pretty happy to know I've expanded on his idea. Yeah, I felt like I shouldn't have to explain, but I guess I didn't do a good enough job to get people to understand through my writing alone. I was more worried about what happened to my cat while she was lost. But I did have a few precious pets that did die and I still miss them.

LDSoshawott: Well... it's hatched.

JadeKnight: You don't have to pity me, dealing with mean and nice comments pretty much comes with the territory when it comes to anything you post on the internet. I just shouldn't read them when I'm having a bad day, especially the meaner comments. I lost two cats, and only one came back, so she's very precious to us.

xAmethystFox: I lost my dog a few years ago, we don't know why she died, she just had a hard time breathing. We set an appointment the next day, but she died in the morning. The mother cat to the cat I have now died after coughing up a lot of blood. It still hurts to think about it, and it's why this cat is so precious to us. And as for if my cat is happy where she is now... *looks back at the sleeping cat* I like to think she is. XD

Night Koopa: Oh? I don't usually like picking favorites, because you never know when you'll change it. But I suppose the Pokemon movie I like the most would be Pokemon Heroes, mostly because I like the concept of legendary Pokemon able to hide themselves in human form, and that one of them fell in love with Ash. My least favorite Pokemon movie... well... I'm mostly indifferent to most of the latest movies, but I guess my least favorite would be Keldeo and the Sword of Justice. It felt like there was no real point to that movie, and it felt like Ash and his friends were just kinda squeezed in there at the last minute. I felt the movie would've done better if Ash and his friends weren't in it and it focused only on Keldeo and the Sword of Justice, but that's just me.

Mark the Haxorus: I'm sorry about your dog. My dog died a few years ago, and the mother cat to the one I have now.

Joltik12: No, hybrids don't generally get absorbed into eggs, Mew is a special case because she's turning them into a full Mew, not a hybrid, in other words; they're being completely reborn. That had always been my plan for Ash, I never intended for him to be a hybrid. Ash will keep the Togepi, Alicia gave it to him after all and it would be cruel to give it back since the Togepi now believes Ash to be its mother. I'll have to ask Aegis if he wants to be on the AN, and there's only one arc left. Anything after that is a real sequel.

Fantasysword92375: We found her, don't worry. I'm kind of relieved that Shadows of Kanto is finally coming to an end and I can take a break before uploading the next arc.

AShinyBlueMew: Togepi will be on the team, just not in this book. ^^' I have low self esteem, so whenever I feel depressed or upset, I tend to think nothing I do is ever good enough, especially if I see complaints or criticism (and I don't usually mean the constructive kind). When I gave Ash Luna, she was a Normal type. ^^' But anyways, I do prefer the Togepi family myself, I love Togetic and Togekiss.

icypika: Thank you, and I wish you good luck too.

DarkElite: Uh... not any time soon. ^^' I prefer the underdog over OP characters, unless it's the antagonist or obstacle for the protagonist to overcome.

pikachucat: Um... no offense or anything, but can you say more than 'awesome'? It's really vague.

Guest #1: Hello... guest. ^^' You know, that IS a funny idea, but I don't know if I'll ever get to Plasma's Mewtwo in this story.

WhiteMantle: I had 4 cats, the mother first before she gave birth to three kittens. The mother died, and the 2 went missing, so the last one is very precious to us. And Ash probably won't tell Prof. Oak until Blue himself is okay with it. And were you being sarcastic when you said you couldn't guess what was inside? And can you blame Prof. Oak for not knowing about hybrids? Legendary Pokemon are rarely seen by humans, let alone the possibility of the existence of hybrids.

Pokemon Guest: I plan to when Shadows of Kanto is finished.

Arathix2002: Of course, I try to answer my reviewer's questions when they have them. Oh, well I don't hold competitions as I don't know how. But maybe Aegis Dragon might, you can talk to him about it through Private Messages. And I mostly stopped accepting OCs because I don't like having to implement an OC that was very detailed, but I still end up messing it up, and most of the time when I add them in, people complain how OP they are. Aegis Dragon received a few backlashes because of how powerful his own character, Andreas, was.

Guest #2: Thanks, but I had switched between different co-writers a lot for this story, which made the story a bit all over the place. Most of the time the co-writers I get are a little hard to write with, so I'm very skeptical. Plus, I can't PM you because I don't know who you are, Guest, sorry.

TrainerIndigo: On that day? Maybe. It wasn't the haters that brought me down, it was the constant complaints and criticism, especially when I was already feeling crummy when I read them. I can take constructive criticism, but most of the time the criticism felt more like complaints of how I should've wrote it like this instead of like that. Is it any wonder why I feel like my story is a mess?

firestar91: Brock, Misty and Gary will learn about Mew and the hybrids during the war, but as for if they'll remember after that remains to be seen (Mew could easily erase their memories if she wanted to).

Sailor Pandabear: I guess we'll see, huh?
