Livin' the Morby Life Chapter 16, a regular show fanfic

Thank you guys for such a warm, welcoming return! Don't worry there will be more fluff to come. I'm really trying to update, however, I'm in college right now as a theatre major, so I have TONS that I have to accomplish during each day and not a lot of relaxing time. Also, RegularShowLover5, I don't think there will be much smut in this story..I'm really sorry, but I don't really like to write about...*cough cough* that subject. I hope you will still read the story, and who knows...maybe...JUST MAYBE...once I get my steam back and maybe a few more reads and favs...I might possibly do a spin-off lemon..MAYBE...anywho, BACK TO THE STORY!

Rigby smiled and hummed happily as the radio filled the kitchen with the best music the 80's/90's had to offer. He swayed around grabbing random ingredients from the fridge and the pantry and combining them in different ways. Suddenly, he jumped as he felt arms wrap around him, relaxing when he realized that it was just Mordecai. Said blue jay chuckled, leaning over and kissing him softly,"Having fun?"

Rigby hummed, beaming,"Yes."

Mordecai grinned,"That's fantastic...the kids and I almost have the living room and dining room completely decorated for the guests."

Rigby smiled,"Fantastic! The turkey's coming along nicely and the mashed potatoes and gravy is almost done." He paused to hold up a spoonful of corn,"Taste?"

Mordecai smirked and tasted it,"mmm...great honey."

"Good, then would you mind taking the corn, the string beans, and the cranberry sauce to the table?"Rigby leaned up kissing him before he could answer,"Great! Thanks baby!"

Mordecai chuckled and picked up the dishes, taking them into the other room muttering something about 'too cute' and 'love him so much'. Rigby giggled at him and checked the turkey once more, everything seemed to be going great so far. He heard the doorbell ring and felt excitement race through him,"Someone grab the door please?"

He heard Mabel call,"I'll get it!" and little feet racing to the door, then the door being thrown open. A few minutes later and a loud squeal of,"UNCLE BENSON! AUNTIE EILEEN!"was heard.

Soon, Eileen was hugging the kids and telling her own kids to be on their best behaviors, while Benson strolled in the kitchen with a smile,"Hey You!"

Rigby smiled,"Heya Benson, long time no see!"

They hugged each other and Eileen walked in and joined them, humming,"Mordecai! Rigby! You both outdid yourself!"

Rigby smiled,"You think so?"

Benson nodded along,"Oh yeah! The decorations are great and the food smells delicious!"

Mordecai came along and pulled Rigby to his side once more,"That's all thanks to my beautiful wife."

Rigby blushed and giggled,"No no no, the decorations were all this handsome hunk of bird.."he turned to put a hand on Mordecai's chest.

The other couple both let out audible coughs and the lovers quickly pulled apart, both blushing wildly.

"A-Anyways.."Rigby chuckled softly,"You both can have a seat anywhere, everyone else should be here pretty soon."

Not long after he said that, the doorbell filled the house once more. Mordecai smiled and walked over, calling out,"Margret! Thomas! So nice to see you again!"

Margret entered and hugged Mordecai with a small,"nice to see you too.."she then walked into the kitchen and grinned,"Hey Eileen! Man it's been forever!" The two then began idly chatting.

Thomas walked in and set their kids down, setting the diaper bag aside and giving Mordecai a fake grin,"Hey Mordecai! How's it been?"

"It's been great dude...What about you?"Mordecai asked cautiously.

Thomas frowned and looked away before shrugging,"Good,"he bit out before fleeing to the kitchen.

Mordecai watched him leave and frowned softly, he was going to head to the kitchen, but there was another ring of the doorbell. He answered and beamed,"Mom! Dad!"

"Mordy!"Mordecai's mother grinned, kissing his cheek,"Where's Rigby? I have a jell-o for him!"

Mordecai laughed happily,"In the kitchen...I'm sure he'll love it."

Mordecai's Mom nodded and grinned making her way to the kitchen. Mordecai's dad smiled and patted Mordecai's shoulder,"Lookin' Good Son.."he then followed his wife. Soon after, Rigby's Mom and Don showed up, both with big smiles.

"Mordo! Give me some sugar!"Don grinned, pulling Mordecai into a hug.

Mordecai smiled and returned it,"Don, nice to see you again."

"Where's Rigby?"Don asked.

"Kitchen.."Mordecai pointed and Don left with a shout of "Give me some sugar Rigbone!"

Rigby's Mom smiled happily and hugged Mordecai as well,"Nice to see you again Mordecai! Wish his father could be here but.."She sighed and rolled her eyes,"Well..you know how he is."

Mordecai only smiled and nodded,"Yeah! Nice to see you again too! Everyone's in the kitchen!"

She smiled and patted him before fleeing. Then Skips came with a smile and Muscle Man and Starla and High Fives and His fiancee showed up too. Finally, everyone was there and seated in the dining room.

Rigby hummed and brought out the turkey and stuffing, setting it at the crowded table. He beamed,"I'm so happy everyone could make it today! Thanks for letting us host it Benson!"

Benson smiled,"No problem guys..you did excellent! Almost better than me!"Eileen nudged him and glared before turning back to the guys mouthing a sorry.

Mordecai just cut in,"Not important! Just important that everyone's here, eating my wife's excellent food, and having a good time!"

The table all made noises of agreement and Rigby kissed Mordecai with a soft,"Thank you."

Rigby then turned to the table and grinned,"Well! Dig in!"

The food started to get passed around and plated and everyone started to eat and chat about their relationships, their children, and future plans.

So I understand this is extremely short...that's because this is actually a preview of the longer chapter to come...however...before I write it out...I'd like to take a poll.
