Naruto took a deep breath glancing around the edge of the tree at the doors to the school every now and then. Sasuke should have his break coming up; Sai had another class so he'd be alone. He knew he couldn't do anything, but he was allowed to watch, to admire from afar right? He lent his back against the rough bark of the tree, the bump on the back of his head was still throbbing but there was a voice in him that said he deserved it. He glanced back around the tree just in time to see the pitch black hair, the pale white skin, his long delicate fingers curled around the strap of his bag.
Naruto found himself walking out from behind the tree as the words rang in his head. 'I can't do anything'. He reached up and grabbed his shoulder eyes closed before he even turned and forced his lips against him. 'Definitely not allowed to do this.' One arm snaked around his neck, fingers running through his hair locking his head in place as his lips moved against his. He heard the bag falling to the ground and smirked slightly into the kiss, his tongue running gently along his bottom lip. He nipped gently at it, raising a gasp and took the chance to slide his tongue into his mouth.
His spare hand fell to his hip, slipping from there underneath the hem of his shirt tracing the lines of his chest eliciting a soft moan. 'I should run!' he thought vaguely but there was nothing that was going to drag him away from this moment. He finally knew how Sasuke kissed, it was weaker, gentler then he had expected but he'd been caught by surprise. He finally knew how Sasuke felt, his skin was cold, but he'd expected that, though his stomach was nicely toned it wasn't as muscled as it had once been.
In fact he was a lot thinner than Sasuke, he was a lot weaker than Sasuke, he was shorter than Sasuke. He smelt like him but-
"What the-?! SAI?! NARUTO?!" Sasuke's voice cut through his thoughts and he jumped back a step breaking the kiss and finding himself face to face with Sai. A deep pink coloured his lips, his fingers gently traced across his lips, his tongue darting out to trace along his bottom lip ending in a nervous bite.
"Naruto?" He gasped. Naruto stared between him and Sasuke as his mind comprehended the situation. The bag now lying on the ground was Sasuke's; he must have left it in a classroom and his loving boyfriend Sai had brought it out to him. Which of course was when, for the first time in his life, Naruto had decided to go after what he wanted despite the risk.
He fell to his knees, face hidden in his hands, shoulders shaking. Sasuke froze for a moment; this wasn't anything like the Naruto he'd known. It had been a few years but he was still worried. He wandered over, saving the screaming for later, and gently placed his hand on his shoulder tilting him back slightly.
"Naruto?" He cooed softly, the most calming voice he'd ever managed though it seemed to have no effect on Naruto so he tried again.
"Naruto!" This time he looked up, tears rolling down his cheeks, shoulders still shaking, arms hugging across his stomach and a giant grin spread across his face as he desperately tried to stop laughing.
"Sorry… It's just…" He slowly managed to gasp out. "As if I'd ever kiss you!" As if the fates would ever be kind enough, normal situations as they were he feared for his life. But the one moment he was brave enough, the one time he had the resolve to do it Destiny chose to mess it up anyway. He doubled back over in laughter and missed the broken look on Sasuke's face.
As if he'd ever kiss him. Well he already knew that but the fact that even the concept was enough to leave Naruto bloody breathless. He growled viciously.
"Whatever freak. My issue was you were kissing my damn boyfriend!" He growled spinning and grabbing his bag with one hand and Sai's hand with his other. Sai let himself get dragged off by Sasuke with one last glance over his shoulder at Naruto gazing after them. Naruto sighed as he rubbed roughly at his cheeks pulling himself back up to his feet.
"Hn, that went as well as could possibly be expected." He murmured to himself and wandered off trying to decide which bar to go to that night.
Sasuke dropped Sai's hand and instantly and turned on him since Naruto was no longer an option.
"What the hell was that?!" Sai blinked blankly back and stared in Naruto's general direction.
"He thought I was you…" He muttered weakly. Sasuke blanched.
"Didn't you hear what he said you idiot. If you can't think of a reason for you to kiss that moron back then we have a problem." Sai sighed and met his eye squarely, his eyes were glistening, brimming with tears and when he spoke his voice came out shaky.
"We have a problem. He thought I was you and that's the most passionate kiss I've ever had and you dream of him every night. You're lying beside me whispering his name. I can't take it anymore. It was fine when the other guy wasn't in the picture but now I've met him. I know him, and I can't compete with that." He shook his head and turned away, walking off before he tried to argue which both of them knew was a lie.
