Okay, so to be honest this chapter took a turn I really wasn't expecting, but at least I'm writing it right? I wish I could say I know where this is going but it could be interesting :P

Thanks for reading!

Sasuke owed him nothing. No, that wasn't quite true, if anything Sasuke owed him pain. He wouldn't take pleasure in hurting Naruto, though he might take pleasure in knowing the he could. What the hell was his problem anyway? It was impossible to read what was going through the blonde's thick skull but he couldn't think of anything but this being some sick game. He glared at the door that Naruto had left from, straightening up his shirt slightly before his sunk into the crowd.

At the same time it was hard to chalk all of what happened up to just some joke. He had said he needed him right? That tone, his voice, that couldn't all be faked. He growled running a hand through his hair in frustration. What the hell was it then? And did it really matter? After what had just happened he knew that some part of Naruto wanted him. Desperately. So did he really have to pay any attention to the part that was trying to push him away?

He knew that kind of thought was verging on something he would be a lot better off avoiding but when Naruto was concerned he never really acted right. Around everyone else he could be cool, calm, careless. Around Naruto he was a bloody love sick moron and the idea of taking Naruto regardless of what that idiot was thinking was beginning to sound really appealing to that part of his brain. But there was no point in thinking about it. He was close enough to breaking that whatever happened next time he saw Naruto would make the choice for him. If they could just talk about what the hell had happened then it would be okay. Well maybe not okay, but he could hold himself back.

If Naruto refused to acknowledge what had happened however…

Naruto's head was pounding, he had looked straight up into those deep red eyes. Already caught well within their gaze. But nothing had happened yet. At least he didn't think it had until he tried to stand. Tried to run from whatever was awaiting him in those eyes. It wasn't until one leg moved, tearing from the rest of his body he knew he was caught.

Itachi stood calmly in front of him, arms crossed against his chest, hands tucked away to hide that they were trembling. Legs held stiff to stop them from moving forward. There was no part of this torture that required him to move otherwise he knew he'd stop it. But at the same time he couldn't look away. He had to watch as each of Naruto's limbs tore from his body, each time he tried to struggle, whatever part of him tried to move was yanked free only to appear again when it could cause more pain. He couldn't stop the sound of the screams from reaching his ears. He could hear them grating at his throat until he could no longer make a sound.

But his body kept ripping until his mind wasn't capable of thinking of escape. Until his body refused to twitch. He stared down at the broken, barely conscious eyes that had once been such a beautiful bright blue. He wanted to cry for them. To weep for the pain of his brother's love. But that wasn't the part he was playing this time. There was nothing he could do but slowly release him and turn away with the same words of warning he kept trying to give.

"Just say no." Though he knew those words caused his brother almost as much pain as the blonde's torture, it was the best help he could offer them, for the moment. He just hoped they were both strong enough, both patient enough and both smart enough to make it through.

Naruto couldn't even dare him limbs to move until well after sunset. Eventually the slight twitch of a finger without the digit going flying convinced the rest of his body it was mildly safe. Though every movement still sent shudders of pain rolling over him he knew he had to go. It was more of a sequence of falling then a walk but he managed to slowly head towards home. He should have known it was stupid. But the newly enforced lesson wasn't one he'd forget anytime soon. Eventually he got the hang of walking again. It was a slow sway that kept his legs moving and it didn't do anything to limit the pain as each of his joints grated against each other as though they no longer belonged as one. But he could move and it looked relatively normal. Maybe like he was drunk.

He chuckled lightly to himself. Maybe just being perpetually drunk and avoiding Sasuke was the way to go. It was what he did after his first little chat with Itachi, it worked well enough for a while. But that plan seemed to hinge on Sasuke leaving again. He couldn't cope with that. The pain of seeing Sasuke was at least a feeling. He wouldn't be able to bare it if he lost that again.

He paused slightly as he noticed a shadowed figure leaning against the wall outside his house. He shouldn't really be surprised. As much as he loved skipping school halfway through it was very rare for him to not show up at all. Maybe one of his friends was more motherly than he thought. The idea tugged a small smile at his lips till he got within reach and Sasuke stepped out of the shadows. His smile dropped.

Sasuke growled lightly but managed to keep his tone fairly friendly.

"Expecting someone else? You seem disappointed."

Naruto weakly shook his head trying to step past him without a word. But Sasuke blocked him off.

"I just wanted to talk about what happened at school today Naruto." He muttered softly.

"Nothing happened…" Naruto shrugged off easily.

He could barely stand straight. His words sounded slurred to his mind but he was sure he had shaped them right. There was a black mist hanging around the edge of his vision and there was no way he had the strength to have an actual conversation with Sasuke. He just had to get somewhere he could fall unconscious in relative safety.

Sasuke, however, had only heard the answer he had been expecting, too frustrated to be his usual observant self he gave in to the side of him that had finally broken. He slammed Naruto against the wall. His lips crushed against the blonde's, not particularly caring whether he got a response this time. If Naruto could do whatever he wanted with no concern for Sasuke's feelings then it was Sasuke's turn to do the same.
