A/N - Hey guys. This is a new fanfiction that i've been thinking about for a logn whiel after being inspired by a few others similar to this. I hope you'll enjoy every update. Thank you for all the kind reviews so far and story/author alerts as well as being added favourite. They're all very much appreciated, I love to read each review I receive.
I would also like to say the whole Aaron and Jackson storyline has me gripped to TV so far, can't wait to see where Emmerdale take them. Just hope Aaron doesn't go to jail
Anyway, enough of my ranting. You've done well to read this far in to my irrelevant speech. Read, review and Enjoy!

The next morning Aaron quickly hit the alarm off on his alarm clock to prevent it from waking Jackson. He had no work today so there was no point in waking the builder for no reason. Aaron quietly slipped out of bed and threw on some clothes before running downstairs for some breakfast. Cain would kill Aaron if he ware to be late. He'd already been late everyday last week and now the garage seemed to be seeing a rise in customers cain needed everyone on board to keep on top of things. Which meant extra hours, early mornings and working the odd few hours during weekends.

"You're late." Cain announced as he tried to sneak into the garage to put his overalls on.

"Ten minutes!" Aaron protested. His uncle was being pathetic now.

"Don't care. You're late." Cain growled. "Make a start on that Volvo."

Aaron mocked saluted Cain behind his back before doing as he was told. Ryan was sniggering under the engine of another car, enjoying the usual scolding that Cain served Aaron.

"You can shut it." Aaron snapped, throwing a spanner at Ryan's legs, only missing by an inch.

At lunch time Jackson had texted Aaron and told him he would get them lunch from the cafe and bring it to him at the garage. He'd sent a text to Jackson midmorning telling him he had to work till three instead of leaving off at lunch which he had already planned to do. Cain was certainly feeling the demand. It didn't help that he had only just finished his last morning at community pay back the other Wednesday. Now Cain seemed determined to make him pay back the time he'd lost at work to him.

"Catch!" Jackson called out as he threw a bacon roll towards Aaron a few meters away. "Loads of ketchup, just how you like it."

"Thanks." Aaron said as he began to unwrap the paper wrapping.

"You welcome." Jackson told him as he copied Aaron who had now climbed on top of the car, sitting on the roof with his feet on the bonnet. If you couldn't beat them, join them. He marvelled his boyfriend's disregard to property.

"Oi! Scratch that and you can pay for it!" Cain shouted from the inside of the garage.

"Don't worry, we'll promise not to leave a mark." Jackson grinned sickly to wind Cain up.

"You better not had." Cain growled before leaving them to it.

"So. . ." Jackson started, bumping his shoulder into Aaron's. "What happened last night?"

Aaron continued to chew on his roll before taking his time to answer. "What do you mean/"

"Well. . . You wanted to leave pretty suddenly last night." Jackson explained turning to Aaron.

"No I didn't-."

"And this morning you left without a word." Jackson interrupted.

"Yeah. I didn't want to wake you." Aaron defended. He was still debating whether to tell Jackson about Darrel last night. He hadn't mentioned it last night on their way home. He couldn't shut Jackson up as he told him about one of his friends latest dilemmas. This morning hadn't been ideal either with Jackson being asleep. You couldn't just wake your boyfriend at six in the morning only to tell them his friend's boyfriend tried to kiss him last night. Was it worth telling?

Jackson just looked at Aaron as though he knew something was wrong. He'do nly been with the younger man for at least a couple of months and he could already read him like a book.

Aaron sighed and dragged a hand over his shaven head. "Darrel tried to kiss me last night." He rushed quietly.

"What?" Jackson asked. Aaron had mumbled so quickly and quietly he'd been unable to head him over Ryan revving one of the cars.

"Darrel tried to kiss me!" Aaron almost shouted, just as Ryan had finished turning the engine of one of the cars. He blushed when he realised other people could have heard.

"He did what?" Jackson exclaimed surprised. "You didn't-."

"Of course I didn't!" Aaron roared glaring at Jackson. How could Jackson ever think that? Like before, he was with him.

"No I didn't mean –never mind. Jackson brushed off. "Wow." He blew out raising his eyebrows. "Surprised you didn't deck him."

"Ha ha, funny." Aaron snapped glaring at the older man still.

"Nah it is Aaron." Ryan chirped. "Just wish I'd been there to see your reaction."

"N'awh, wish it were you?" Aaron sneered, annoyed.

"Hey play nicely." Jackson warned him, slapping him on the leg and receiving yet another glare from Aaron. "It was bound to happen someday I suppose." Jackson sighed. "I mean if I think you're alright other people must do as well."

"'alright'." Aaron shot back. Cheers for the compliment he thought.

"Yeah, when you've scrubbed up a bit. I still think my mum was right." Jackson teased. "You do look like a tramp in these clothes." He laughed as he tugged on the sleeve of Aaron's overalls. He knew i would wind him up. In actual fact he liked to see Aaron in overalls, he carried them off well when they were tied round his slim, toned waist.

Aaron went to shove Jackson off the car but was stopped by his uncle's voice.

"Save that for else where." Cain shouted. "It's about time you got back to work."

Aaron mimicked Cain behind his back as Jackson climbed down from the car.

"I'll see you later then." Jackson told him. "Don't want to keep grumpy pants waiting do you."

"Yeah." Aaron laughed as Cain shot them a look from within the garage. "Alright, I'm coming!" He called over to Cain. "See ya." He said to Jackson before disappearing back inside to search for some parts.

Aaron was glad when he finally finished at work and headed back to Smithy Cottage. Jackson and him had Smithy Cottage to themselves for the night. Hazel was teaching a painting class in Hotten for the night and Paddy had decided to join Marlon and Rhona in the woolpack. Neither of them had any plans to go out again that night. They'd already been out the night before, so they were looking forward to a night in together. Jackson was resting in the lounge on one of the sofas with Aaron sprawled out beside him as they watched a movie Aaron had picked out. Empty Pizza boxes were scattered on the coffee table in front of them. Aaron having managed to finish off two on his own, Jackson often wondered how he managed to keep in shape. It wasn't as if he did any exercise to keep his muscles that toned. The only exercise Aaron ever did was walk Clyde, haul car tyres around and push broken down cars if he needed to.

"This is rubbish." Jackson sighed unable to keep quiet about his boyfriends movie choice.

"No it's not." Aaron protested still watching the fight scene that played out on screen.

"Eh, yes it is." Jackson commented shifting under Aaron's legs. "Never realised what rubbish taste you had."

"I'm going out with you aren't I?" Aaron teased with a smirk. "What do you expect."

He deserved that, he'd walked straight into that one. "I'll have you know I'm an amazingly gorgeous guy."

Aaron screwed up his face, he loved teasing Jackson, paying him back for the amount of times he wound him up. "If you say so."

"Hey!" Jackson exclaimed, pushing Aaron's legs off of his lap and shoving his shoulders. "I can always find somebody else, you know?"

"You wouldn't dare." Aaron bluffed. "I'm irreplaceable."

"I don't know. I think Adam has a good choice in movies and he's not got a bad set of legs either." Jackson joked before a cushion hit him square in the face. "You didn't. . . ." Jackson whispered, leaving the threat hanging already picking up the thrown cushion.

Aaron sat beside him with an innocent face and shook his head, before a huge grin cracked across his face. He could never stop himself from smiling around Jackson.

"You're gonna pay for that now." Jackson warned him before he started throwing every cushion he could reach at Aaron who pathetically tried to shield himself from attack. It wasn't long before Aaron began to beg for mercy, as Jackson relentlessly wacked cushions over him. He was defenceless.

"Do you give up?" Jackson panted leaning over Aaron, one hand supporting his weight on the back of the sofa.

"Yeah." Aaron laughed as Jackson wacked his side with a soft cushion.

"I didn't quite hear you." Jackson teased picking up another cushion and holding it up ready to attack again. "What did you say."

"I give up, please Jackson." Aaron breathed staring up at him. Jackson was inches from his face; hovering so close over him he could feel his warm short breath on his face.

Jackson had forgotten all about throwing cushions at Aaron as he stared down at him. He ached to kiss him. The little distance they held between each other was dangerously close. He was losing himself in his deep blue eyes as he stared down at him. He loved his eyes. When the rest of him was shutting down and building walls up, his eyes would give him away. They would tell him a million things. Now all he could hear was the urge to close the distance between them. He longed to touch Aaron.

First the kiss was soft and caring but only for a split second before it begun to grow tentative and fast. Both men began to lose all control, only going with what they could feel. Jackson had moved his hand down so it was beside Aaron's head, preventing him from crushing the younger man beneath his entire body weight but made it easier to capture Aaron in the kiss. In the back of his mind he was cautious unsure how far Aaron would want to take things. They'd only been together for a couple of months now and Aaron was still unsure of himself, even more so around other people. But they were home alone, nobody was going to come bursting in on them. At least he hoped not. But it made it all the better, knowing there was a risk. Pushing it to the far back of his mind he concentrated on sliding his tongue into his boyfriend's mouth, pushing and teasing.

He became distracted by the feel of Aaron's hands sliding up the inside of his shirt, gripping his sides as he arched his neck to get even closer to him. Then Aaron begun to tug at his shirt, trying to pull it off of Jackson's tanned skin.

"You sure?" Jackson breathed between kisses. He felt Aaron groan into the kiss nodding his head unwilling to break himself from Jackson. "We don't have to."

"I want to." Aaron breathed as he tugged at Jackson's shirt and pulled it off in one. Jackson then started to slide his own hand up Aaron's t-shirt, trailing his fingers along his flat stomach and feeling him squirm as it tickled. "Don't." Aaron grinned squirming under him as Jackson realised just how ticklelish Aaron was. He enjoyed the fact that he had Aaron at his mercy once more for the second time that day. First the pillow fight and now because he was tickerlish.

He didn't expect Aaron to pull his arm out from underneath him and manoeuvre himself so he was on top. Aaron stared down at him with a huge smirk, as if he was so proud of what he'd just achieved. Jackson was surprised to say the least but it didn't stop him on his need to get closer to the younger man. It wasn't long before they were in another lustful moment, planting kisses along each others necks and trailing fingertips across bear skin. They were chasing up the stairs in a matter of minutes, stopping every few seconds to pull each other closer before stumbling towards Aaron's bedroom.

A few hours later, Jackson laid in Aaron's bed stroking his hand up and down the young mechanics arm as he slept on his side. In the few months he'd been with Aaron they'd only slept together a few times. He didn't want to pressure the younger man into anything he didn't want to do. After all he was his first and he had punched him after he just touched his arm in the pub. So pressuring Aaron was not what he intended to do. He was okay with taking things slow. He enjoyed his company and not just the great sex they shared. He'd never experienced anything like it. However the one moment he loved more than having sex with Aaron was the time spent afterwards. Aaron was never one for public displays of affection or random acts of love, as much as he liked to deny it. but afterwards he would allow Jackson to wrap his arm around his waist and pull him close. He liked to feel the warmth of his breath on the back of his neck as he fell asleep. He didn't know that Jackson would stay awake watching him. It was then that Jackson was able to see apart of Aaron that nobody else saw.

"What time is it?" Aaron asked as he rolled over, stretching. He'd been asleep for a couple of hours now.

"Just gone twelve." Jackson answered him quietly as he pulled Aaron closer to him so he laid his head on his shoulder.

"Woah, I only closed my eyes for a second." Aaron sighed amazed at how long he'd been asleep. Jackson wore him out.

"In the real world that's two hours." Jackson laughed.

"Want a drink?" Aaron asked dragging his hands down his face before sliding out from underneath the covers until he sat on the edge of the bed.

"Nah, you're alright." Jackson declined.

"Alright. I'm just gonna get some water then." Aaron told him pulling on a pair of boxers and trackies before heading towards the door. Hazel would be back by now and he didn't want to bump into her with just a set of boxers on keeping himself hidden.

"Frightened my mums gonna pounce on you?" Jackson teased under the covers as he watched Aaron pull on a t-shirt as well.

"No." Aaron shot back, scrunching his nose up. "Yeah. . ."

Jackson laughed. "You're too young for her." He assured the younger man knowing his mother's first impression still stuck in Aaron's mind. She'd openly told him if she were twenty years younger she'd be eating him alive. Obviously Aaron still remembered and took it to heart. He didn't respond well to open flirtations or honest complements, it was as if he wasn't used to them. He never knew how to take them. Even when Jackson tried to flirt with him sometimes or praise him he'd look at him as though he was sprouting a second head. It hurt to think Aaron often thought he was mad or stupid for saying anything that should build his confidence up.
