Author's Notes: Keep moving forward!

The familiarity of the situation was uncanny. It was always when Woody had lowered his guard that the unexpected occurred, and there was no exception this time.

Either from their own minds or having been inspired by the cowboy's recent actions, the Green Army from below had the bright idea of breaking the glass cage enclosing the sharks to force the couple from their perch. The moment Woody discovered what they were doing, he scrambled upwards pulling Bo with him by her waist. His remaining booster was in serious danger of quitting, but he was able to get them in the air again. Bits and pieces of the stadium sustained significant damage.

They watched as the soldiers had realized their error, and ran out of the way as water spilled out from the cage along with the sharks.

"Woody!" Bo suddenly exclaimed while pointing to the throne platform. Buzz and Porkchop were still duking it out, and it looked as if the pig was overpowering the ranger.

The cowboy considered his options. He had to keep Bo with him; there was no safe place to take her. However, he found it extremely difficult to bring her closer to the man that was trying to kill her.

Bo somehow had a sense of his thoughts. "We have to help him," she said softly, with a subtle intensity.

Woody nodded and then took them towards the fight. In the meantime, however, a green soldier from below was lining up a shot to take them out of the air.

They had nearly made it to the throne, but the soldier took his shot and the cowboy's other wing was taken out. This time, however, Woody was able grab Bo's hand as they fell. His free hand flew to a loose cord that must have come from the giant screens in the middle that the monkeys were wreaking havoc on.

They were extremely vulnerable.

Woody managed to nudge open his communicator with his head. "Jessie it'd be REALLY great if you could get those shields down now…" he said feeling his hand holding Bo cramping up.

Jessie let her breathing stabilize for a moment. Running out in the open to get a better vantage point over the shooters was not a very good idea, but it had been effective...

She had recognized plainly the urgency in Woody's voice even though her own thoughts were louder than him, and finally when she had snapped out of her trance she scrambled over to the mainframe that dominated the room.

Jessie couldn't help but stare at it blankly for a moment. It suddenly returned to her that she had no idea how to get the shields down.

"Buzz?" Jessie asked over her communicator. "Buzz you would know! I don't know how to get the shields down!"

The redhead felt a twinge of panic as static was the only response she received.

"Woody?" she called out frantically.

Once again, static greeted her.

She started to hyperventilate. The room seemed to be spinning, and it was in that moment that she realized how cramped the bridge was. It was almost like the walls were closing in on her. She slapped her palms on her temples, trying to beat back the panic. Her legs were wobbly, but she stuttered forward resting her hands on the buttons in the panel.

"Forget this…" she mumbled while pulling out her blaster and pummeling everything that was in sight. There was a brief calm after she'd destroyed everything.

And then the ship shuddered.

The lights started to flash, a siren started, and the droll feminine voice from the elevator returned.

"Breach detected in sector 3. Breach detected in sector 3…"

Jessie immediately received the impression that she had failed, miserably at that. Of course it hadn't worked, why did she think it would? Her mind was racing, trying to figure out what to do. Perhaps she would help Woody and Buzz, but they had entrusted her with this task and it would be too late by the time she arrived. She didn't even have any idea where they were, let alone if they were still ok…

She started to cry. She couldn't help it.

She almost didn't hear the voice coming from her communicator.

"Buzz? Woody? Jessie!? Come in, anyone!" It was Mira.

The cowgirl fumbled to get it open. "Mira! Mira I'm here! We need help!"

"Jessie, the shields are down! We can get you guys out of there! Do you have Bo?"

"I-I… I don't know! We got separated… Buzz was supposed to… I can't reach them!"

Mira paused. "I've got to get you out of there, just hang on ok? I think I can teleport you out."

The redhead stood in silence as the world blared along around her for what seemed like an eternity. And then suddenly she grew extremely sick in the stomach as the colors and sounds around her started to change and whirl. She kept her eyes shut tight until the dizziness finally stopped. She was off balance, but before she fell she was caught by Mira in the flesh.

They were in the transporter room on a Star Command vessel. Jessie whipped her head around hoping to find her friends, but to no avail. She started to say something but Mira cut her off.

"I haven't found them yet. It was easier to find you on the ship because you responded. Both Woody and Buzz's communicators have been damaged," the blue skinned woman said quickly while sitting at a desk with a screen.

Jessie stumbled over to the desk, watching Mira scan through what looked like blueprints on the screen. "Can you go any faster?"

Mira looked up for a moment, irritated. She turned back to the screen. "You're lucky I even want to save your skins after the stunt you guys pulled earlier…"

"For the record, Woody wanted to send us back too. And really this isn't the time to be talking about that," the cowgirl shot back wishing she could make sense of what Mira was dong.

Mira looked like she was about retort, but before she could she made a discovery. "Might want to cover your eyes," she said while punching some buttons on the screen.

There was a sudden flash of light, and a moment later three bodies collapsed on the floor. The cowgirl rushed to their sides, and with the first sight of the state of her friends she whipped her head back around to Mira. "Call a medic, quickly!"
