Adam texted Aaron later on the afternoon and expected the both of them to be ready and waiting for him at eight a clock outside Smithy Cottage. Jackson had been excited about going into town, hoping it would be enough to take everyone's mind off of the up coming court case, finding out about who was being used witnesses was making it all seem that more real for them. The older man had left plenty enough time to get ready for the night, finishing off his paper work in good time and taking a shower straight after dinner. Whereas Aaron had left everything till the last minute. He'd been downstairs playing with Clyde before Jackson called for him to get his backside in gear. Soon enough they were standing outside.

"Alright lads." Adam called over to them as he approached up the hill to Smithy, Holly and Scarlett in toe. "Don't mind if these two tag along do you?"

Jackson shook his head. The more the merrier. "No, course not. Do we Aaron?" Jackson said nudging Aaron. He knew the younger man wasn't Scarlett's biggest fan.

"Course not." Aaron sighed.

"Great." Adam beamed. He'd been told to keep an eye on Holly all night by his parents and he wasn't to happy about it. "Taxi should be here in a bit."

"Where're we heading to first then?" Jackson asked curious.

The taxi dropped them all off in town, just a short walk away from the nightlife that happened in Hotton. Adam and Scarlett led the way to the first Club just a couple minutes down the road. A short queue lined up along the outside of the doors, with girls in short sparkly dresses and guys looking for a good time. They joined the back of line and waited.

" My friend Emma came here the other week on their opening night." Scarlett told them as they shuffled a little closer to the doors. "She said it was amazing. I've been dying to see what it's like."

"I bet." Jackson smiled, stealing a look in Aaron's direction. They'd been waiting in the line for ten minutes now. To any abled person it was nothing, but for somebody who had to use their arms to keep them up right it was a little more difficult.

"How you doing mate?" Adam asked Aaron, as they neared the front a little more again. He could see Aaron was straining to keep his arms from buckling.

"Sound." Aaron answered him with a grin.

"Not long now and we can sit down." Adam assured him.

Aaron nodded his head. He didn't want the attention drawn to him. In his eyes he was just as capable of doing everything like everyone else was. He'd worn his baggiest dark jeans that night to help cover his leg splint up. There was no way his leg was going to stop him from having a good night out.

No sooner then they could have, they were eventually allowed inside the newest Club in town. Scarlett directed them towards a table in the centre of the bar, whilst Holly and Adam got them all drinks. Aaron collapsed into the nearest seat and flexed his arms a little to get the feeling back.

"Hard work?" Jackson teased from beside him.

"Yeah." Aaron smirked as Adam and Holly returned with their drinks.

"Here we are!" Adam announced placing the drinks on the table and sliding them across to the correct person. "Drink up. We're gonna have fun tonight." He told them. He planned on getting Aaron and Jackson's minds off of the up coming court case and he fully intended to follow through with his plan.

Aaron noted that Adam had brought him coke instead of bottle of beer and white wine like the others. How was he going to have a good night out while he sat there bored out of his mind while the other's drunkenly dance later on. Not that he would be caught dancing anyway.

"Right, I need the loo." Aaron said finishing his third coke three hours later.

"Want me to come with?" Jackson asked, noting how busy the second club they'd stumbled into was.

Aaron pulled a face at the older man. "I think I can manage thanks." The teen said before he headed towards the toilets.

"Don't you think you should go with him?" Scarlett said to Jackson, as they all watched the teen fight his way through the crowd on his crutches.

"He'll be fine." Jackson shrugged tearing his eyes away.

It took him longer than he thought getting to the male toilets. People kept standing in his way and bumping into him. He was glad when he did finally get into the nearly empty toilets, only two other men where in there, so he needn't worry about getting pushed over. He quickly did what he had to do, feeling the full effects of drinking three large cokes in under four hours.

"Sorry, mate didn't see you there." A rather drunken bloke apologised when he realised he'd nearly sent Aaron to the floor on his way out the door of the male toilets.

"S'okay." Aaron shrugged off beginning to walk away.

The drunken bloke grabbed hold of Aaron's arm to stop him going any further. "What happened to you mate?" He asked.

"Nothing." Aaron gritted. He didn't want attention drawn towards them. He was trying to ignore the grip the man had on him. It was only innocent but it still didn't help the horrible feeling stirring up inside of him again.

"Nothing? Come on. Tell us." He said, his friends now drawn towards the two of them who were just as drunk as he was.

"Got hit by a car, alright." Aaron snapped tugging his arm free and nearly toppling over again.

"Woah, steady there mate." One of the man's friend exclaimed grabbing hold of him behind the back to steady him.

"Get off!" Aaron growled.

"Only trying to help." The man's friend sheepishly muttered retreating his steadying hand.

"Yeah, well I didn't ask for it did I!" Aaron snapped. He just wanted to get back to their table now. These guys were now suffocating him.

"No need to be like that!" The drunken bloke growled back, his temper changing just as quickly as Aaron's did.

"What you gonna do about it?" Aaron shot at him. He was used to this kind of confrontation. He didn't know where the anger inside of him was coming from, but it was bubbling to the surface. It was unfortunate for these guys to be at the brunt of it. Wrong place at the wrong time. He edged his way closer to the man. He didn't care he was weakened by an injured leg, he wasn't going to let that get in the way of his temper.

The man and his friends began to laugh, looking down at him due to their extra inch in height.

Putting all his weight on to his good leg, Aaron let go of his crutches and shoved the drunken man, hard, in the chest. He stumbled backwards into his friend before anger flashed across his face and he rightened himself, heading straight towards Aaron.

He hadn't really thought it through. His anger had gotten the better of him and clouded his judgement. He didn't stand a chance balancing on one leg as his crutches now lay abandoned on the floor. They'd drawn quite a few attentions around them now.

"Aaron!" The teen heard his voice shouted through the crowd, it sounded angry. But he didn't care to see who it was. His main focus was the guy in front of him who about to shove him back, twice as hard.

"Aaron!"

"You're boyfriend's calling you." The drunken bloke sneered, shoving Aaron, catching him off guard as he turned to see who he was calling his boyfriend.

Luckily a table was close behind him, so Aaron caught himself just in time to stop himself from falling. He was getting pretty good at catching himself now. He was angered to see the drunken man had meant Jackson when he said 'boyfriend'. He didn't mean it in an innocent way that many other people would have intended. He'd meant it at as an insult, a jibe towards him. Who was he to bring him down? Maybe if he wasn't so angry he would have thought differently, handled things differently. But he wasn't.

Aaron swung a balled hand towards the man's face until it made contact with his pretty boy face. He'd regret it later on, when Jackson scolded him continuously about resulting to violence. He didn't care right now. He was getting rid of some anger that had festered up inside of him, from no where.

He felt hands restraining him before he knew what was happening and pulling him back wards, but not roughly. Then an angry voice in his ear, Jackson. "What the hell do you think you're playing at!" He spat pulling Aaron away.

He could see Adam trying to calm the group of men down over his shoulder as Jackson angrily took him back towards the table where Holly and Scarlett were standing, obviously watching what was going on. Jackson yanked a seat out and ordered him to sit, taking a seat opposite him and running his hands down his face frustrated.

"What was all that about?" He demanded as he looked him straight in the eyes.

Aaron shrugged. He didn't know.

"You gonna have to give me a better answer than that Aaron." Jackson laughed bitterly. "You go to the toilets and the next thing we know is your starting a fight."

"I didn't start it!" Aaron snapped, angrily. Why did he always assume he started things?

"Well who did then?" Jackson shot at him. "I honestly don't think anybody would start on-. . ."

"Start on who? Go on. What were you gonna say?" Aaron roared at him. "Start on a freak show!"

"Aaron-." Jackson gritted through his teeth. Of course he didn't mean that! He'd lost his temper with him and he was regretting it now. It had just made things ten times worse. He needed to be the calm one in this situation. He'd been worried that Aaron would get hurt, that's why he'd been so angry. He wasn't angry at him, just for him and now it had all gone wrong.

Aaron shot up from his seat. "No! Finish what you were about to say!"

The teen was incredibly sensitive. Jackson rolled his eyes and grabbed hold of Aaron, trying to tug his arm to make him sit back down. It wasn't as though he could storm off any where, Adam was just then returning from his crutches after successfully calming the others down. He'd forgotten about them as he pulled Aaron away. "Just sit down!" Jackson ordered.

With a scowl clear on his face, Aaron thumped down in his seat. Holly and Scarlett pretended to act as though they were interested in what was going on as they tried to discuss hair colours while drinking the last of their wine. "I'm sick of being told what to do!" Aaron growled. "I'm sick of everyone thinking I'm gonna fall apart any second! I'm sick of everything!"

"Hang on, that's not fair." Jackson shot at him.

The anger wasn't going away any time soon, no matter how hard Jackson tried to soothe it. "No. You no what isn't fair! Cause I fucking well do!" Aaron shouted at him, beginning to draw new attention their way.

"Aaron-." Adam tried to stop him. He knew the teen would regret it later on.

"Don't worry, I'm not about to announce it all to the bar what that Sicko done to me!" Aaron sneered at him, stopping himself before he really did say what he intended to.

A/N – Omg, I'm so cruel, stopped half way through a full blow out! But I wanted to update this evening, hope you can forgive.
