A/N I don't own anything but the plot!

Edit 1/11/16: An anon reviewer suggested that 'Sacred Soul' would sound better than 'Heavenly Soul' and I agree! So I'm changing that part. :)

Enjoy!

Chapter 9

Harry realized the truth in what Dumbledore and the Four had said. He and Ron really weren't strong enough to face Voldemort. Even with Quirrell, who was only a fraction of what Voldemort was, they had struggled to defeat him. Only when Harry had fully unleashed both his Spatial Magic and his Ice Make, were they able to incapacitate him by trapping him in a extra dimension created by his spatial magic.

Harry staggered, magically and physically exhausted. Ron was propped up against the wall, breathing hard, "Harry… we defeated… him…"

"Yeah… we did," Harry panted in answer. "You did… awesome, Ron."

Within a few seconds, they heard footsteps thundering down the stairs. Draco, Hermione and Professor Snape arrived on the scene. Professor Snape's eyes widened at the destruction all around them.

"Where is Quirinus?" Snape demanded, eyes wide. When the two boys did not respond, he turned to Draco and Hermione, "Miss Granger, go fetch Madam Pomfrey. Draco, go to the Headmaster's office and tell Fawkes what happened. You remember the password, right?"

Draco nodded along with Hermione, and the two dashed off. Professor Snape burned Quirrell's wand, and neared the two unconscious boys. Running a diagnostic, he sighed in relief and awe. Two eleven year old boys had defeated Voldemort. Well, not Voldemort at his height of power, but still, it was a feat to behold. How powerful was this so called Earthland magic? To cause such destruction…

Madam Pomfrey arrived on the scene, and her eyes went wide. But she didn't let her shock hinder her, and she rushed over to the two boys, waving her wand and muttering spells under her breath. "Severus, get me two Pain Relievers. Most of these wounds are easy to heal with a wand though, which is good."

A few minutes after Pomfrey's arrival, Dumbledore came. His face was full of anguish and guilt, "I had underestimated Quirinus, and had forced two first years to face him without help. I-"

"Professor, it's not your fault! No one knew that Quirrell would be able to trap Professor Snape in his quarters," Hermione pleaded.

"But Mr. Potter and Mr. Weasley could have died!" Dumbledore exclaimed. He looked around, and blinked, "Where is Quirinus?"

Draco frowned, then looked around. He nodded understandingly, and answered, "Harry most likely used his Spatial Magic to create a small pocket dimension and stored Quirrell in there." He looked at Pomfrey, "Are they okay?"

"Surprisingly, yes," Pomfrey replied. She glanced up, "For a fight against one of the strongest wizards in history, these two are surprisingly not hurt."

"Harry did tell us about how Earthland magic makes our bodies more resilient and tough," Hermione said. She glowered, "But they took years off my life with that! When Draco and I were stuck in that room for what felt like forever, I couldn't help but worry!"

"You should have seen her. She nearly wore a hole into the carpet," Draco said, without much heat. He sighed at her look, "But yes, we were scared and worried to death."

Dumbledore just slumped against the wall, eyes closed, "I can't believe I left you children to fight Quirinus. We adults are supposed to protect you, but in the end, it was you who protected us."

The other teachers came running in at that moment. McGonagall stared, "What happened, Albus? For about half an hour, no one could leave the room they were in."

Dumbledore and Snape explained the situation, minus some details about Earthland.

Flitwick's eyes were wide, "Mr Potter and Weasley defeated Quirinus?"

"We mustn't tell the other students that Quirinus was possessed by Voldemort. Just an evil spirit," Dumbledore warned. He looked at the door, so faithfully defended by Harry and Ron, "I suppose I should relocate the stone. It has caused too much trouble for us."

McGonagall gave him a look, "Which was what we told you before."

"Again, I apologize," Dumbledore said solemnly, expression old and wary. "My arrogance has forced you all to pay a price."

A few days later, when Ron and Harry had awoken from their magical exhaustion, Draco and Hermione had visited.

"In here again, huh?" Harry laughed weakly. "This feels like deja vu."

Hermione flung her arms around the two boys, "I was so worried! I can't believe I let Draco and I get tricked so easily!"

"It's ok, Hermione. He was a fully grown and powerful wizard. It's a miracle that he even left you two alive," Harry mused.

"Probably so he could get at our Earthland magic," Draco supplied. At Ron and Harry's curious looks, he elaborated, "He was muttering about how we had new magic that he wanted to study. If he had defeated you two he probably would have come back to try to see how we learned this magic."

"Ah, Mr. Potter. Mr. Weasley. Good to see you two up and awake," a familiar voice said. It was Dumbledore, who was smiling, "How do you feel?"

"A bit tired and sore, but fine in general," Harry said, peering up at Dumbledore. "Um, Professor? What should I do with Quirrell? I still have him in that pocket dimension."

Dumbledore blinked, then smiled, "Right, Professor Quirrell. Well, he's not a professor anymore… Anyway, after we tell the Minister of this, I assume that he will locked up in Azkaban."

Harry nodded, and relaxed back, "What day is it anyway?"

"It is Tuesday, three days since you and Mr Weasley fought Voldemort," Dumbledore replied. He looked at the two, "I sincerely apologize. I left the two of you to fight Voldemort. That is unforgivable."

Harry frowned, "You had left Professor Snape to help us. It wasn't your fault that Voldemort trapped him."

Dumbledore smiled weakly, "Thank you for forgiving this old man, Mr Potter. Would you be leaving to Earthland when the year ends?"

Harry nodded, "Of course. Ultear-nee-chan is expecting me."

"Of Grimoire Heart?" Dumbledore inquired, slight distaste visible.

"Yeah, but it doesn't mean I share their views on Zeref. Ultear-nee-chan raised me, and I love her like she's my family, so I need to return," Harry said defensively, eyes narrowed.

"I'm not going to force you to do or not do anything, but I was hoping that Mr Weasley, Mr Malfoy and Ms Granger would be able to accompany you to Earthland," Dumbledore explained hastily.

Hermione squealed, eyes lighting up with curiosity and glee, "That would be wonderful! Think about all the things we would be able to learn!"

Harry looked pensive, then he nodded, "That would be a great experience for them, but Master Hades and Ultear-nee-chan would probably forbid me from leaving the guild."

"Well, if you were going back with them, you could ask you sister if you could travel around the country to just show your three friends the culture and such," Dumbledore suggested.

"That could work!" Harry said excitedly. He turned to his friends, "Would you guys be able to go?"

"Only for a month," Ron said, looking apologetic. "My family's going to Romania during August to visit my brother Charlie."

"Then spend a month or maybe less in Earthland, and then all four of you return together," Dumbledore planned.

"Where would I stay?" Harry wondered.

Ron volunteered, "You could come with us if you'd like to."

"Oh that'd be cool," Harry mused. "I'll buy my own ticket. Don't want to bother your family too much."

"Ok, great. I will inform you of the Ministry hearing for Quirrell," Dumbledore said as he left the infirmary.

"Wow, I'm so excited!" Hermione squealed, jumping up and down. "I can't wait!"

"Wait for what?" a new voice asked.

The four turned around once again. "Fred? George?" Ron asked curiously.

The look on the twins' faces were uncharacteristically serious. Fred stared at Harry, "What are you planning with my brother?"

"What?" Ron demanded, brows furrowed. "Fred, what do you mean?"

"On Saturday, you and Ron were fighting against Quirrell, who was also You-Know-Who for some reason," George revealed. His gaze sharpened, "And before that, for this entire year, the four of you have been sneaking up to the seventh floor at midnight. At first we thought it was just firsties being rebellious, but we think it's more than just that. What are you doing with my brother? We won't allow him to get hurt."

Ron gaped, "How did you-? Nevermind… Fred, George, Harry's not hurting me! He's just-"

"You had to fight You-Know-Who!" Fred shouted. "And then was unconscious for three days because of magical exhaustion!"

Harry stopped Ron's retort, "Ron, they're right. You did get hurt because we faced Voldemort." He looked at the twins, face hard, "But he survived because of me and what I introduced him to."

"What have you introduced him to?" George demanded.

Harry glanced at Ron, who pursed his lips, "I think you can trust them, Harry."

Fred and George both frowned. Harry looked at them, "Swear on your magic that you won't tell anyone of what I'm about to tell you unless one of the four of us or Professor Dumbledore allows you to."

"What are you talking about? Why do-?" Fred began.

Harry's gaze silenced him, "Swear it."

And so they did, for the sake of their little brother. Draco and Hermione's eyes were wide as they watched.

"So? We swore it, so tell us!"

Harry swallowed, and began his tale.

"Wait, so you're telling us that you're from another world? Where they use this… weird magic? And you're teaching said weird magic to all three of them?" Fred repeated, for confirmation. After receiving confirmation, he frowned, "Why are you teaching them?"

Harry worried his bottom lip, glancing at his friends. Ron spoke up, "We wanted him to teach us because we will stay by his side even if it means fighting with him against Zeref."

"Zeref. Who's that?" George asked, frowning. "Is he like You-Know-Who."

Harry laughed humorlessly, "Zeref would make You-Know-Who seem like a puppy. Zeref is immortal, and he uses Living Magic which allows him to make demonic creations out of almost anything. The Books of Zeref are books that hold formulas to create powerful demons."

George and Fred gaped, and then anger rose in their expressions, "Why would you drag them into something like that?"

"Because we don't mind!" Hermione burst out. "We don't care if we could die, because we will always stay with Harry."

George narrowed his eyes at Harry, determined, "Teach Fred and I that magic."

"Huh?" Harry uttered, blinking in confusion.

Fred pursed his lips, "We can't leave our baby brother all alone to fend for himself, so teach us that magic as well so we can protect him."

"Hey! I'm not weak, I can protect myself!" Ron protested.

Harry looked thoughtful, "That's a good idea. Let's do it then."

"But this doesn't mean we're loyal to you, Potter," Fred snarled. "We're only doing this for Ron."

Harry just nodded, "Of course. Meet at the seventh floor corridor at midnight."

"Harry Potter!" Slytherin shouted, "Who did you tell now?"

Fred and George stopped in their tracks, gaping, "Are they the Four Founders of Hogwarts?"

"Yup! And this is Fred and George Weasley, twin brothers of Ron," Harry introduced.

"Harry Potter, why the hell did you tell them?" Ravenclaw demanded. "Have you not dragged enough people into Earthland matters?"

"We wanted to know. We want to protect our brother," Fred said, eyes alight with determination.

Godric laughed heartily, "Those are definitely my lions! So proud!"

Slytherin grumbled, "Brawns and no brains." Godric retorted hotly, and the two descended into another brawl.

Fred and George blinked, "Um…"

Helga smiled warmly, "Hello, dears. I'm Helga Hufflepuff, but just call me Helga. What magics would you two like to learn?"

The twins looked at each other, and shrugged in unison. Harry stifled a laugh, and piped up, "I was thinking maybe they could learn Crash or maybe even Arc of Embodiment."

"Arc of Embodiment?! Crash?! Are you sure they're strong enough to handle such magic?" Ravenclaw demanded worriedly. "Do not be so brash, Harry."

"I think they have enough magic power for it," Harry said confidently. "I'm sure of it."

Ravenclaw peered at the two boys, "Do you two want Crash and Arc of Embodiment? They are two very advanced Earthland magic."

"Um what are they?" George asked.

"Crash is the magic of destruction. You can destroy any inanimate object by will, but you need to be careful, or else anything you touch might turn to ruins. Arc of Embodiment is a Lost Art that allows you to create anything you imagine. Both are incredibly advanced. The Arc of Embodiment might seem to be only limited by your imagination, but do not be fooled. If you lose concentration, the creation will fade away, and it takes a lot of power to maintain a creation," Ravenclaw warned.

Harry perked up, "Wait, how about a Slayer magic?"

"Sorry, but no. My Archive cannot transmit any Slayer magics," Ravenclaw said.

"Oh, dang," Harry pouted. "Ooh, what about Take-over?"

Ravenclaw blinked, and looked pensive, "That's a good option. Take-over allows one to take over the power and attributes of an entity." Turning to the twins, she asked, "So? What magic do you want?"

"Oh, um, I guess I'll go with Take-over," George said uncertainly.

Fred's eyes glinted with excitement, "I'll take on Crash."

Ravenclaw raised an eyebrow, but did not question his decision. She turned to George, "I have a few forms of Take-over: Beast Soul, Animal Soul, Machina Soul, Sacred Soul and Demonic Soul."

"What are those?"

With a sigh, Ravenclaw explained, "Beast Soul allows you to take over animals that are not common and are considered 'beasts,' like a troll or dragon of this world. Animal Soul allows you to take over regular animals. Machina Soul is robotic, allowing you properties of a machine. Sacred Soul allows you to take on the properties of the gods. Demonic Soul is the exact opposite, where you can take the properties of demons."

George mulled over his options, "Demonic Soul would be the obvious answer, right? Since we're fighting this wizard that makes demons."

"However, this Soul is not as powerful as Satan Soul. Even if you were to take over Zeref's demons, you would not be able to use their curses," Ravenclaw pointed out. At the children's puzzled looks, she elaborated, "Curses are more powerful than magic, and Zeref's demons use curses."

George huffed, "Then I'll go with Sacred Soul. The gods, huh?"

"Wonderful. I will now transmit said magicks to you," Ravenclaw told them.

"You will accompany the other four here everyday. Do not attempt to use your new magicks until we give you the ok. You still are not accustomed to it," Ravenclaw warned them sternly. "Using Take-over without knowing how will result in the Soul taking over you instead of vice versa. And Crash… I don't think I need to tell you the consequences."

Fred and George nodded in unison, saluting her. "Hey, Harry, Ron, what magicks do all of you have?"

"I have Spatial Magic that allows me to utilize what I see as a weapon, Ice Make that molds ice and Mind Magic," Harry said in an extension of an olive branch by exposing his trump card. "Mind Magic is like Legilimency, but I don't use it often."

"I have Archive, which is what Professor Ravenclaw uses, and Memory Make which allows me to perform any piece of magic that I remember," Hermione said happily.

Draco spoke up, "I have Requip, so I can switch into different types of armors."

"And I learned Metal Make, which is like Ice and Memory Make. It molds metal," Ron explained.

"Fred, George, would you two like to accompany us to Earthland during summer vacation?" Harry offered. "The four of us were planning on going to Earthland for a month to explore and learn more of Earthland's culture, then return to Earth together."

"Sounds fun," Fred commented. "Sure."

A week later, Harry was summoned to the Ministry and Dumbledore asked him to release Quirrell, and Harry blinked, "Oh, right! Oops, I didn't put anything into that pocket dimension, so Quirrell's probably really out of it right now. Pocket dimensions are not fun to be in for a long time…"

Dumbledore blinked, then sweatdropped, "That's ok…"

And indeed Quirrell was really out of it. He was not waking up, even when Dumbledore performed ennervate on him.

"..."

"Sorry…"

Dumbledore chuckled, and levitated the man up. "It's quite alright."

They arrived at Minister Fudge's office, and after the secretary took one look at them, she hastily let them through.

"Cornelius, thank you for allowing us to meet with you," Dumbledore said graciously.

The portly man looked at Quirrell, "Is that Professor Quirrell?"

"Yes. And like I told you, he is possessed by an evil spirit," Dumbledore said. "But do not worry, he is fully incapacitated. However, you do need to know that the spirit possessing Quirrell is Voldemort."

The man's eyes widened, "What? That's not possible, Dumbledore. Do not joke with such heavy matters."

"But it's true," Harry piped up. "He is possessed by Voldemort."

Fudge turned around, and his eyes lit up, "Harry Potter! Pleasure to meet you! I'm Cornelius Fudge, the Minister. How are you?"

"I'm fine and all, but sir, Quirrell is possessed by Voldemort," Harry said urgently.

Fudge's lips twisted, and he sighed, "Look, Dumbledore, you shouldn't plant such ideas into young Harry's mind. He doesn't need to suffer more. His parents were killed by You-Know-Whoand now you're saying that he was taught by You-Know-Who?"

"Sir, I appreciate your concern, but I am not deluded nor am I gullible. I saw Voldemort on the back of Quirrell's head. When he wakes up, you can question him with Veritaserum," Harry suggested. He did not like this man. This man was cowardly, unable to face reality and much too focused on reputation.

"Now, now, I'm sure there's no need for that," Fudge stammered, wiping off sweat. "Dumbledore, really, if You-Know-Who were to return, everything would fall to ruin and chaos. Do not spread falsities."

Before Dumbledore could speak, Harry responded hotly, "With all due respect, sir, if Voldemort were to return, Professor Dumbledore and I would stand with the Ministry, and I hope you would be willing to stand with us as well in a united front against our common enemy."

Fudge looked surprised, as did Dumbledore. Harry did not heed them, and continued, "In face of such adversity, I hope you don't think that we would be so foolish as to stand against you when what we desperately need is unity."

"O-of course, Mr. Potter! I would be honored if you were to stand with me in a war against You-Know-Who," Fudge said excitedly. "When could we possibly meet again? To declare our alliance?"

"First sir, we need to get Quirrell to Azkaban though," Harry asserted firmly.

"Y-yes, of course!"

"I really don't like Fudge," Harry complained, as they walked back towards the castle.

Dumbledore's eyes twinkled, "Really? I think you handled him very well."

"That's why I don't like him!" Harry exclaimed. "He was so easily swayed by the promise of public endorsement… It sickens me that he's so corrupted."

"Cornelius is not a bad man, Harry. He just is too complacent with eleven years of peace," Dumbledore said quietly. "No one expected Voldemort to still be alive."

Harry looked at the headmaster shrewdly, "Except for you, huh?"

"Yes," Dumbledore responded indulgently. "Except for me."

How'd you like it? Sorry I didn't put much detail into the actual battle, but I had a writer's block for that, so I just skipped it... And Fred and George show up! Is Crash too powerful a magic for Fred? hmmm... well tell me in a review! Thanks, amigos!

Next chapter's gonna be about the six of them going to Earthland! Imagine their surprise, when Grimoire Heart is apparently disbanded, with a new independent guild named Crime Sorciere.

Meaning it's going to be during the seven years that Natsu and them are gone. :)
