"Half Blood Harry Potter"
By Loki Palmer
Author's Note: Harry Potter and all related characters belong to J.K. Rowling. Percy Jackson and all related demigods (with the exception of Loki) belong to Rick Riordan.
Sean Malloy-1: I believe the Cabins at Camp Half-Blood are based around the Olympians. Hades doesn't spend time in Olympus, unless it's during the Winter Solstice, so I don't think He had a Cabin for His kids … until now. As for when Harry and Hermione got married, see Chapter 1.
DZ2: As the French say, my friend, "A chacun son goût" (To each one his taste). It's not that I have anything against Luke, but if he's still alive (that's a big IF), I'm afraid there is not much hope left for him. Hope you enjoy the story all the same.
Chapter 15
The stifling air around him burned the lungs. It was like the rogue Son of Hermes had landed in a volcano, but he knew where he had landed: Tartarus. It was the giant pit where the gods kept the worst of their worst enemies, such as the monsters, but among the many inhabitants was his Master.
"You have failed Me, Castellan. You were supposed to give Me power to resurrect Myself, and you failed ..."
Luke choked and coughed; this was no place for mortals to exist.
"The Lord of Titans suffers not failures to live ..."
Luke braced himself; this had to be the end of the line for him …
"... And yet, another opportunity does present itself in another of My grandsons … a son of Hades, to be precise ..."
"You don't mean Loki, Master?"
"Nay, Castellan. What do you know about Lord Voldemort?"
"All I know is that he killed many people, Harry's mom included. Somehow, Harry had defeated him a few times."
"Yes, Castellan. Voldemort needs a Resurrection, and so do I. Let Us join with him."

Chrion could not deny that the Capture the Flag matches had grown in their entertainment factor since the coming of Loki. It did not matter how Mr. D had shuffled and reshuffled the balance of power around the Camp to ensure the odds were as even as possible – whichever side the young Creepshow had chosen was the side that won.
"What was that you said during our first Capture the Flag match, Annabeth? 'I never lose?' "
She glared at him. "Oh, go jump in the lake, Seaweed Brain!"
"Why don't you come along? It could be fun, and you need to cool down."
"JUST GO BY YOURSELF, PERCY, OKAY?!"
Knowing better than to confront Annabeth in this mood, Percy ran for the river.
"Goodness, who has your panties in a twist? It's a game, Annabeth."
Her eyes narrowed as she looked at the demigod whose victory had caused this sulking fit.
SMACK!
"OW!"
"That may be so, Loki, but even as a game, it is a reflection of how our skills could play outside of the Camp. What if we fail our task?"
"If we fail, I guess the world will receive a royal boning the likes of which it has not experienced before. Since you smacked me, Miss Sulky Britches, how about I return the favor?"
He raised his warhammer, ready to strike …
"Loki! Stop!"
"Or what, Thalia? She hit me!"
"Loki, I'm trying to help you ..."
"I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP!" He turned back to Annabeth. "Don't worry, Annabeth … this won't hurt … much ..."
A quick strike under her chin sent her flying into the river.
"IT'S GOING TO HURT A LOT!" He turned to Hermione. "Have you got anything to say?"
Hermione shook her head as Loki stormed back to his Cabin.

On Harry's birthday, the sextet of demigods walked up to the Big House, where Chiron met them.
"Are you sure about this? Some say when the gods want to torture us, They answer our prayers."
"I do not wish us to be ignorant about what Olympus may have in store for us," said Harry.
"This is your choice, and I'm not one to dissuade you from it, but knowledge can be both a blessing and a curse. We will talk some more … assuming you come out sane ..."

As they climbed into the attic of the Big House, they saw a mummy, which awoke from its slumber and looked at them with glowing eyes. "I am the Oracle of Delphi, speaker of the prophecies of Phoebus Apollo. Approach, seekers, and ask your question."
"Lady Oracle, we heard there was a prophecy about us. May we hear it?" said Harry.
"Aye, you may hear it, and this is what it says:
The Dark Lord will join with the Lord of Time,
To conquer, enslave, and all things unwind;
The Sons of the Eldest: Death, Sea and Sky,
Will fight him together, though one may die;
Joined as one, to them the Darkness must fall,
Or the Darkness will spread, to the Doom of All."
"Wait a minute," said Loki. "One of us may die? No offense, Lady Oracle, but that sounds odd of Lord Apollo to say."
"Lord Apollo means it to be a message of hope and a warning, Son of Hades, but know this: as powerful as Olympus is, even the gods cannot fight a war on two fronts at the same time."
Tears leaked out of Loki's eyes. "Thank you, Lady Oracle. I have to go back to my Cabin now."
"Loki, what's wrong?" said Thalia.
Brushing her hand away, he ran out of the Big House.
She looked at Harry as the rest of them exited. "Was it something I said?"
Harry shrugged. "I don't think so, but this prophecy is troubling. We need to go after him."

Entering the Hades Cabin, they could hear the piano within playing, and Loki's voice singing along with it a tear-jerking lyric:
"Nobody loves you … when you're down and out ..."
They listened to him sing the tune by John Lennon, and the eyes of the females watered in sympathy while Harry and Percy looked at him in shock.
"This is the same happy-go-lucky guy we found in Oklahoma?" said Percy. "What changed?"
Without turning back to look at them, Loki said, "If you've come to offer me your pity, you can get out, because I don't need your pity."
"What in your Father's Realm makes you think we came here to pity you, Loki?" said Hermione.
"We are concerned about you – all of us!" said Annabeth.
"How can we help you if you keep yourself bottled up?" said Thalia. "And don't you DARE tell us you don't need our help, because we have had enough of your isolation! Do you think you can do all this yourself?"
"Gods, no, but –"
"BUT WHAT?!"
"WILL YOU LET ME FINISH?!" He spun around, tense yet sad. After a few minutes to calm down, he said, "At least the Oracle didn't say that one of us will die, thank the gods, but there remains the possibility of Death. Isn't it obvious to the rest of you? Even though my Father is the Lord of the Underworld, and I have been there, I have the fear of Death that all of us have!"
"If I may be my Uncle's advocate, Loki," said Harry, "you have said that all men must die: Valar morghulis."
"Does that make it any easier to swallow, Harry? Even if you and Hermione lived for a long time, Death will come for the both of you one day. I will say the same for Percy, Annabeth, Thalia, and everyone else."
"So, if anyone of the three of you are going to die, it might as well be you, right, Loki?" said Thalia.
Loki nodded.
Much to his shock, she grabbed his face and kissed him. "Well, I'm not accepting that, do you hear me? I want to be there alongside you so you can have a reason to live through the fight you have to face, and when we die, as we must one day, our children and friends will surround us."
Such was Loki's shock that when he could form a coherent sentence, he said, "Why did you kiss me?"
"It's a better method for me to get your attention than slapping you; would you have preferred a slap?"
Loki shook his head. "No; compared to a slap, the kiss was … shocking, yet more enjoyable. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but you mentioned children."
"I did. Let's face it, Loki: you're noble and handsome in spite of your moodiness …"
Loki looked past Thalia to see Harry, who smiled back at him as if to say, It's okay by me. Hermione's smirk and raised eyebrows sent a message of, Well, what in your Father's Realm are you waiting for – a bloody invitation?
So he kissed Thalia back. When they separated, he said, "If you will have me, Thalia, Daughter of Zeus, then I shall do my best to be worthy of you … but one matter at a time."
Author's Note: Another fun chapter to write … whew, did that one take a while, or what? Read and review!
Smiles and laughter,
