The Land of Waves has greatly changed since their world became open to space. The Lord of Waves like other lords has joined one of the great three powers that now dominated the planet. They now live underneath the protection of the Galaxy Council, which Stampede doesn't want to mess with. The city of Waves is now a space port and has grown from the fishing base city that it once was. The crime boss Gatuo was long gone after he tried to use the same tactics on the Galaxy Council settlers. The security forces that came with the settlers quickly took him and his power base down. The bridge that Tazuna was building and was trying to hire some ninjas for protections was finished by the construction bots the settlers brought with them.
Waves became a boom town as the keruim is rich, which is the reason why in the old world the Land of Waves was poor. As the land had no resources besides keruim which was thought to be worthless. Now with space being open to the world, kerium was not worth more than gold and made Land of Waves into a very rich land. Which is protected by both private security for the companies and the lawmen sent with the offical G.C. backed settlement. Stampede kept his forces well away from Waves as he was for now content with the lands he controls.
Currently on the road to the bridge to the city of Waves, a cargo truck was under attack. The owner of the truck is a native merchant who has been doing well for himself, chaging with the times unlike others who refused to change and were left behind. He had hired a team of ninjas from the Leaf Village to protect his truck, as the kerium he's shipping came from their mines. To make up the lack of power the ninja teams are now much larger and carried move than just melee weapons now.
"They're gaining on us," the merchant name Tuma shouted looking into the review mirror.
"We're on it!" Neji shouted as he blasted the bikes behind the truck. Like other ninjas of his age who lack the chakra that they use to be able to use. Have learned to combine what skills they still have with the advance weapons that have been brought to their world. They all learned how to use the blasters and the other machines that they could afford to buy.
"We just have to keep them off of us to the check point," Tenten shouted as she help Neji in blasting away at the people behind them.
"Look out!" Kiba shouted as the road in front of them was suddenly blocked by fire.
Tuma had to make a sharp turn but lost control of the truck and slam into a tree. The people on the bikes quickly surrounded the down truck having to be careful not to damage the kerium. More than once a bad shot had hit the kerium cargo and blew it up.
"Looks like we're going to be doing things the hard way," Kiba said as he jumps out from the truck followed by the others of the team. Ino, Sakura, Choji, Sasake, and Lee made up the rest of the team joined by Tenten and Neji.
Of the rookies of their year they're the only ones who are still following the ninja way. Shino had never fully recovered from what his bugs did to him once he no longer had chakra for them to feed upon, and that like all others of his clan lost their eyes to the bugs. Shikamaru now works in the research department in learning to use the tech they could get their hands on. Hinata surprisingly had a gift in using computers after a off worlder showed sold her a small labtop when he stop in the village to sell his wears. She's now working in the new computer room in the Hokage tower as many of the older ninjas couldn't figure out how to even turn one on.
The group of bandits they're dealing with are the Puppets. They made a name for themselves in other sections of space before coming to Shinobra. They joined Stampede as he keeps the lawmen from trying to bring them in while they're on his land. While Stampede doesn't want to anger either governments the same goes for them not wanting to anger him. The members of the gang are strong and powerful in their own rights.
Nail a pale but, beautiful busty long dark haired woman of the Reptillianoid race. She's weaing a sexy white dress that showed off all her curves. Her long midnight black hair went well with the skimpy, white silk top she wore which ended just below her voluptuous breasts. She also has long green nails that can cut into flesh as easy as a sharpen knife would. She also can spit out poison from the hollow fangs in her mouth.
Spindrive who dressed in a green uniform and wore a pair of goggles. He wears two devices on his arms that are large drills. He's from the Sand Walrus race who's power allows him to swim through sand like water.
Grasper who stood around ten feet tall and built like a gorilla. He has long and powerful arms, which forces him to walk like a gorilla. His hands are large enough to hold a normal size humanoid like a rag doll. He's from the Rigellian race but is far larger and stronger than the norm. He's wearing blue overalls and a long sleeved shirt underneath. His hands are covered by metal gauntlets that allows him to use his super strength without having to worry about hurting his hands.
Afterburn a man who's body is covered in bandages and what flesh is shown is metal as he's a robot. Over his bandages he wore gloves, thick tan pants, boots that metal workers wear when working around metal smelters. His metal skull head is colored midnight black and even has a metal jaw. He's the one who created the wall of flames.
Gunner wore a full body armor that covers his entire body. An orange glass helmet covered his head that showed his face so that he wouldn't be blind without the computer in his helmet was suddenly taken out. On his back he carried a large power pack that powered his energy cannons mounted on his arms.
Jestbomb a young woman who dresses like a clown. She dressed in a red and purple outfit that looks like it's painted on her. The colors crisscrossed on her and she has on a white collar. She also wore a floppy hat that has two long tops on it with bells weighting them down.
Stab a robot with a white skull like head with two glowing red eyes. He wore all black with a long black trench coat covering his body and a wide rimmed black hat. Where his right arm should have been is a hook, that's also a grappling hook. He's able to fire energy beams from his eyes.
The leader Faceless, a tall man who wore a brown coat and tan colored pants. He wore a skin-tight metal mask that covered his whole head. There's no mouthpiece, no breathing holes or even eye-holes on the mask. He has two long metal blades hidden along both of his arms. He's protected by a powerful shield which allows him to get in close as he likes to do things.
"Take them down. Just don't kill them we don't want to cause a mess this close to the G.C.," Faceless said as Stampede had order all the gangs under his control not to kill close to any of the government lands, as it would just draw too much attention to themselves.
"We're not going down without a fight," Lee said who is now the strongest of the Leaf ninjas in terms of fighting skills. The others had to relearn to fight without the chakra level they were use to.
Afterburn said nothing as he cause fire to burst all around them sucking up the air. The air in the ninjas lungs got suck out as well leaving them weak. They would have been able to handle it if they still could use chakra as they once did but they now lost most of their strength that came with it. Gunner blasted each one of them with his Neutra-laser blasters, leaving them unable to move a muscle.
"Is it me or these ninjas get easier and easier to beat?" Jestbomb ask her teammates.
Before the Puppets could make their move to take down the helpless ninjas. A twister came out of nowhere sucking up Afterburn, Nail, and Stab. The twister took them down the road and out of sight. A blur came down the road where the twister came from. Gunner blasted at the blur but it was too fast to hit. The blur run into Gunner and seem to grab a hold of him and spun him around before letting go sending him flying through the air. Spindrive attack with his drills but like Gunner found the burr too fast and was punch sending him hard to the ground. Jestbomb threw a bomb in the shape of a red ball but the blur grab it and threw it back. Jestbomb scream as the bomb blew up in front of her and sent her flying backwards from the force. Grasper and Stab attack only for the blur to grab Grasper's fist and Stab's hook arm. And with ease slam them together knocking them both out.
"Marshall Bravestarr?" Faceless ask having seen footage of Bravestarr using the Speed of a Puma and leaving a blur behind him. And would explain how all of his teammates were taken down so fast. If he could give Stampede trouble it means trouble for him.
The blur stop and revealed to be a young woman around the age of the Leaf ninjas, dress as a galaxy marshall. (1)
"He's my father, I'm Windstarr and the new marshall around these parts," she interdouced herself. "And you and your people are under arrest."
Faceless was about to attack her when he saw a squad of police cars coming down the road.
"Spindrive!" Faceless shouted not wanting to deal with her right now or trying to do that when her backup is coming.
"On it," Spindrive said raising his head up and breathing out a dust storm that block everyone's vision. When the sand settle down all the Puppet members were gone.
"Dang it they got away," Windstarr said remembering what her father told her about Sand Walrus power of sand.
"Thank you miss," Tuma said getting out of the truck.
"No need it's my job," Windstarr said as she turns her attention to the ninjas who are still frozen in place. "Don't worry it wears off in an hour or so."
"Miss what about my truck?" Tuma ask."Don't worry, we'll call a tow truck," one of the lawmen said as he got out of the car. He and the other lawmen quickly made their way to the ninjas and unfreeze them using an unfreezing device.
"Thanks," Sakura said feeling outclassed seeing how powerful the off worlders are.
"You can use chakra?" Choji ask. Ever since the lost of chakra his clan has felt the effects of their diet. Many of his older clan members have gain too much weight to be of any use as a ninja. Younger members like himself managed to get control of their eating and slimmed down as they no longer could use their body fat to fight with.
"No it's magic," Windstarr said.
"Well thank you again miss," Tuma said.
A hovercraft appeared overhead with a marshall star on it. The ship landed in front of Windstarr and a young blonde man with spiky stuck his head out. "Windstarr we got trouble at the docks. Stop wasting time with these has been ninjas."
"Hey!" Ino shouted but caught herself as she saw the man's face clearly. And she remembered where she had last seen his face. "Naruto?"
"How did you...," Naruto began to ask but as he stared at the ninjas in front of him and saw their headbands everything came back. "Oh just great you people again."
"Naruto you know them?" Windstarr ask.
"Meet my old classmates before, I was taken off world," Naruto said to Windstarr.
"You mean they're from... I see," Windstarr said reminding herself that she's the law and has to protect people even if they don't deserve it.
"Naruto wait," Sakura shouted seeing Windstarr getting into the hover car and Naruto taking off.
"I have nothing to say to you," Naruto shouted as he flew off back to the city.
"Did you guys see that he doesn't have those wisker marks on his cheeks anymore," Sasake ask.
"You think he got the fox removed while he was off world?" Kiba ask.
"Must be," Sakura said. "But what do we do not follow?"
"No we should head back and tell the hokage what we found," Lee said as all the Leaf ninjas are under orders to bring back any information they find on Naruto.
"After we get paid for the job," Sakura said reminding them they're still on the clock.
"Right," Neji said as he saw the police checking the cargo truck.
"I just hope Tuma doesn't cut our pay for not being able to stop the Puppets," Tenten said. As the village needs the money as all ninja villages do now that their skills are no longer in demand.

Elsewhere -
Faceless rode in front of his gang as they rode their bikes back to their base. He's in contact with Stampede on the vid phone. They're coming back empty handed of kerium but they did have information that the boss will find very interesting.
"The new marshall is the daughter of Bravestarr, Windstarr," Faceless reported to his boss.
"I see. This changes things," Stampede voice said over the vid phone.
"Want to have her taken out?" Faceless ask.
"No. Killing a marshall will cause too much trouble for me. Her father is well known and has many friends in the G.C. and will stop at nothing to take me down for her death. Leave her be. She only able to operate in the G.C. control lands and won't be able to follow you into my lands. Just keep away from the G.C. lands and she'll have no reason to come after you," Stampede explains.
"Right boss," Faceless said turning off the vid phone and sped up leading his gang back to base.

Author's Notes -
1 –Unlike in the show Windstarr is going to use more than one animal power at a time. Combining strength of a bear with speed of a puma, equal a super fast, super strong hitter. And she can use magic, which is mostly wind base magic.
