Inside the G.C. marshall building, Naruto work under a raised hovercar making some repairs. The machine is held up in the air thanks to a kinesis generator that allows engineers and construction crews to move large masses easily in almost any environment. It's a new technology that's being tested before it can be sold to the public. With Naruto being a engineer working for a marshall has allowed him to be equip with the latest tech of the G.C. that is kept out of the hands of the public. With his very DNA having been scanned into the database the bio-locks place in the tech only allowed people with clearance to be able to operate them. The same kind of tech that stops people from being able to use lawmen's own weapons against them. An upgrade that cause many in the underworld to grind their teeth as they couldn't use the lawmen's own weapons against them anymore or sell them. (1)
His main tool is a barranco D53 an all in one heavy machinery tool. It's a combination of hammer, locking pliers, bolt cutter, and monkey wrench. A rare tool as it's very costly but worth the money, he got his from Bravestarr having found it on a smuggler ship. He also has aid of repair drones the Mister Handy series of utility robots. Ball shape robots with simple AIs. Armed with four arms three of which are arm tools, a all purpose dill arm, a plasma cutter, a blowtorch. They allow him to work faster and while they are good they are not good at quick thinking if something unexpected happens. Which is why repair drones have never completely replaced engineers flesh or true AIs.
"Naruto you have guests," Windstarr said entering the garage behind her are two ninjas from the Leaf Village from the headbands they're wearing. The old man has long wild white hair, while the middle aged woman has long blonde hair and a rather large chest.
Both Jiraiya and Tsuande after the ninja team came back with information on Naruto, their old teacher sent them to talk with their godson. Both of them have been hit hard with the lost of the magic field that Trekrack once maintain on their world. Jiraiya couldn't move around like he use to so he couldn't peek on women like he use to or could he take a beating. The last time he was caught it took him weeks to recover. As for Tsuande she couldn't use her super strength without it doing as much damage to her as her target. She also couldn't maintain her transformation technique and had to resort to her looking as she did when she was in her middle ages. She found out that keeping it in her middle age setting allowed her to use more chakra than she would if she look younger. With the magic seal gone the understanding of how chakra or magic that the ninjas had understood it was thrown out of the window.
"So my old classmates got you two to come to take me back to the village. Well too bad for you. I'm a citizen of the Galaxy Council and have been for years. Not to mention, I'm well aware of that you ninjas can't do anything while on G.C. controled land. So go back to the village and tell the old man that, I'm never going back to the village," Naruto stated to the two ninjas.
"Now, now Naruto much has change since than," the man said. "Besides you do have family there."
"If you mean the two who should have been taking care of me when, I needed them. Forget it those godparents were never family. I don't even know what they look like," Naruto said. "Not it matters. They would have just raise me as a weapon for the village. Just like my birth parents wanted me to be raised as."
"What?" the woman ask.
"The scroll that Naruto had with him contained a letter from his birth parents. Explaining how they sealed that fox inside of him so he would become a living weapon to defend the village. Not only that but the seal they place on him contain a mind spell that would have turn him into a all loving forgiving hero who no matter what happens to him will always want to forgive and protect the village. But thanks to some help from powerful magic users and energy being trapping tech, we took care of that problem," Windstarr explains.
"Of course that had a price as it destroyed all my chakra networks in my body, or should, I say magic network," Naruto said.
"You can't use chakra anymore?" Jiraiya ask shock. Without chakra, Naruto wouldn't be able to save the ninja world.
"Are you sure?" Tsuande ask.
"Why you think, I'm a gear head? Besides Windstarr has greater magic than, I ever could hope for," Naruto said.
"Yeah but than again tech is getting to be as powerful as magic. Not to mention it's much easier to use," Windstarr said having trained for years under Shaman to be able to use magic.
"So you two whoever you two are just leave," Naruto said to the two ninjas.
"Naruto we are your godparents. I'm Jiraiya and she is Tsuande," the man said.
"So why you two think, I would welcome you two with open arms? Let me guess you two still thought that, I was still under the mind control spell my birth parents put on me. Well too bad it isn't and, I'm not the brainwash kid that my birth parents wanted me to be. I'm free of that and have no magic in me at all. There is also no reason why, I should go back to the village or help anyone there," Naruto said.
"You two heard him this is still a law building so you two have to leave," Windstarr said.
"But," Jiraiya began to say but was stop by Tsuande.
"Let's go before we get thrown into a cell," she said. Ever since the G.C. and the Krang have come to their planet, the ninjas quickly learn that they couldn't do what they use to be able to not while on their controled lands.
"Naruto we are still your family," Jiraiya said.
"And that matters to me now? I'm meeting you two now that, I'm a fully grown adult having grown up without ever meeting either of you two till this point. I'm not going to take revenge on either you two or the village. Or do, I have any need to help either. Besides the ninja thing is only because the first settlers on this planet were all ninja fans who did the theme park version," Naruto explains.
"Come on you two," Windstarr said wanting them to leave.
"We're leaving," Tsuande said as she drags Jiraiya by his arm.
Exiting the garage they walk down the hallway and into the main lobby. The lobby is busy with people coming and going, it's also has ninjas from other villages and ninjas who left their villages and became bounty hunters. Jiraiya recognized Zabuza and Haku collecting payment for a bounty.
"Hello, Jiraiya and Tsuande. What brings you two here?" Zabuza ask them.
"Personal business," Jiraiya said.
"Still living by the old ways, I see," Zabuza said.
"We are still part of a ninja village unlike yourself and your partner," Tsuande said.
"True but as you can see being independent has allowed us to upgrade ourselves," Zabuza said as his arms have been replaced with metal ones. His whole body has been enhanced with tech making him much stronger. Which allows him to continue to swing his massive sword around that has been reforged a dozen times over with space metals and he even managed to get a off worlder magic user to put magical runes on it. The money he and Haku gain from their bounty hunting is put into fixing their bodies as even years after losing the lion share of their chakra, the after effects are still being felt.
Haku walking up to the group is a good example as he suffers from the after effects of his blood limit going out of control. Thanks to medical aid from the G.C. hospital that Haku managed to survive. Haku is force to wear a suit most of the time that allows him to control his ice powers without damaging himself or everything around him. He wears a bulky suit that after some upgrades acts as a mechanical armor with an energy shield. Together they made a powerful duo of bounty hunters, many times bringing in a bounty incase in ice. "Got the payment," Haku said.
"We'll get some drinks then," Zabuza said walking off with Haku who thanks to the suit towers over him.
"Those two are doing well. Like how Naruto is doing well," Tsuande said.
"We should have been there for him," Jiraiya agrees.
"Let's just head back and tell the Hokage what happen. We can't cause trouble here, we can't have the G.C. down on our necks," Tsuande said.
"I know that. I just had hope that Naruto would...," Jiraiya began to say.
"Would be like his parents? Well since we didn't raise him like we should have and he instead was raised on another planet he is completely different. I just can't believe that they would brainwash him," Tsuande said.
"You know why. It was for the good of the village, at the cost of his will," Jiraiya said.
"And it cost us dearly," Tsuande said. "But that what happens when other people who don't play by our rules come into play."

Back in the garage -
"Did it feel good to let it out," Windstarr said to Naruto.
"Yes it did. I knew the village wouldn't pass on trying to get me back. But without any chakra and no fox, I'm no use for whatever they're planning," Naruto said.
"Well forget about them. Stampede and his gang are the main problem as they were back on New Texas. And since we can't just go and attack him we just have to maintain order within the G.C. controled lands," Windstarr said.
"Too bad this planet is is a boarder planet," Naruto said.
"Unless Stampede and his gang do something that will get both of the government paper pushers to agree to take him out. He can do as he pleases in the land he controls. And he does serve a purpose. He's the only thing keeping all the other crime elements on this planet under control. Without him all the other crime lords will try to take over his position. He is the last of the old time evil overlords, but he's more refined and subtle in how he does things. Others would be much less humane in how they do things," Windstarr said.
"But it would cause both governments to put more effort placing law and order on this planet," Naruto pointed out.
"Yes but with many lives caught in the crossfire," Windstarr pointed out.
"True enough," Naruto said.
"Naruto you really didn't needed to come here just to help me. There are plenty of people who can fix things," Windstarr said.
"I will always be there for you. You're the first real friend, I ever had," Naruto said as he works on the car. With his back turn he doesn't see the blush on Windstarr's cheeks.
"I'll be doing some paperwork in my office if you need me," Windstarr said leaving the room.
