At a G.C. controlled mining depot Kakashi and a small team of ninjas made their delivery of kerium for supplies and credits. The depot is the main hub where independent miners and villages go to when they have kerium to sell or need supplies. The depot is heavily guarded by G.C. soldiers and security forces with auto defenses ready to fend off anyone foolish enough to try to attack it. Merchants and traders had built up a settlement around the depot and many independent miners and villages in the region depend on the depot to make a living. With the depot being the closest place that many could go to where they could trade in safety. Few bandits dare to try to raid any shipment so close to a G.C. settlement, the same for the Krang. Stampede made it clear that anyone dumb enough to try would be cut off from any protection he had offered to them.
"Let's see what we got here," the robot repairman said as he scans the broken power armor. "The servos are all worn down as well as the pistons, springs, rivets and the the valves that controls the hydraulic fluid and oil. The sensors and stabilizers are a complete write off, the lenses are the only ones working but without the later two they're only good for eye protection. Both the plating, wires are the only ones working but most of it is just jury rigged from junk parts. The switches that controls the electrical flow between components are on their last legs. In all this power armor is only good for as armor and the strength it gives the wearer is only enough where they could move around as if they're weren't wearing it. Also this model isn't meant for melee fighting, it's made to allow the one in it to use heavy weapons that they wouldn't be able to use otherwise." (1)
"Can you repair it?" Kakashi ask. He had brought in the broken power armor to one of the repair shops in the settlement that accepted jobs from independent villages.
"Yes but it will cost you. In fact you'll be better off just buying a new one," the repairman said.
"If I could, I would. Power armor even for one like this relic is expensive and few traders even carry them. We only have this one because we were lucky to find someone having one for sale," Kakashi said.
"Lucky is right, power armor isn't something anyone just sells. Both the Krang and G.C. tightly control the sale of power armor and even security companies have a hard time getting their hands on them in this part of space. Well the newer models anyways while this model is over a hundred years out of date, just float around from one trader to another from one black market to another. How much did it cost you to get this?" the repairman ask.
"Cost a great deal of kerium to obtain it," Kakashi said.
"Figure as much. Power armor is rare in places like this on a planet with two space governments controlling it. Not to mention Stampede who is the only thing keeping all the different crime groups from causing trouble," the repairman said.
"How much to repair it?" Kakashi ask.
"50,000 credits or 300 pounds of kerium should cover the work and parts, I need. This is a complete remodeling job to get it in any kind of shape of working order. I have to strip most of the frame out and replace it. Or you can just try to find a new one," the repairman said.
"Alright," Kakashi said. "We'll pay half now and half later."
"Alright, I'll give you a call when it's fix. Sal at the front desk will get your information," the repairman said.
"Thanks," Kakashi said taking his leave. Things use to be so much easier before Stampede came and brought with him what came after, changing the world as he knew it.

At the Police Station of Waves -
Naruto rub his forehead as he stared at the data of the old corebot which were used in terraforming planets and building settlements. He's been at it for days and he can't get any information from it, it's just too old and outdated to work with the newer tech he's working with. And he has run out of ideas in how to get the data from it.
"Naruto any luck?" Windstarr ask.
"Nope. Got to send it off to the main HQ to see if they can't get any information from it," Naruto said.
"You're giving up?" Windstarr ask.
"Yes. I know when, I'm beat. This is just too old and rusted," Naruto said.
"Then we just have to wait for the lab at HQ to get the data then," Windstarr said.
"I'll send it today," Naruto said taking the old core he's been trying to get data from and put it in a box. "I can get back to work on the attack drones and mini turrets."
"What's with all the work with drones and turrets?" Windstarr ask.
"I'm working within my strengths and tech is my strength. So, I'm going to be a drone deployer and turretmaster, giving you backup when you need it using tactics and overwhelming firepower," Naruto said. (2)
"That would be useful," Windstarr said as there are lawmen who are on the same level as her father by using drones and turrets.
"I'm also making some that can deploy a shield to protect you and a medic drone as well," Naruto said.
"You always surprise me with what you come up with," Windstarr said.
"That's what, I do," Naruto smiled as he seals the box with the core and walk off to ship it to HQ.

Author's Notes -
1 - The power armor Guy was no where near working even at half power. And power armor in boarder planets is a rare item to find even one that is over 200 years old. As in the real world some equipments are rare to find in some places while in others very common.
2- Naruto isn't a melee fighter but a long range one with a blaster and deploying drones and turrets. Which in the online games that players can be either or both, can be a nightmare to fight.
