"Hn," Itachi mumbled as he cuddled closer to the warm body of his roommate. An arm wrapped around his waist and pulled him closer, his head resting on the broad chest. Sighing in content, he snuggled his head into Kisame's neck, planting a soft kiss there. Kisame's breath hitched and he shuffled around a bit before nestling down again. Itachi sighed and made a move to get off of the shark, but froze once he noticed the man looking at him.
"Tachi? What are you doing?" Kisame asked the smaller teen.
Itachi was silent for a few minutes.
"Hn," he quickly moved off of Kisame, but was forced to stop when Kisame grabbed him and held him. Itachi was facing the other way, his back pressed against Kisame's chest. Kisame nuzzled his face into Itachi's neck and stayed there. They were silent and still for a while.
"Hn, Kisame?" Itachi asked.
When there was no reply, he turned around and caught sight of Kisame's face. A small smile tugged at his lips as he saw the man had fallen asleep. The Uchiha sighed, he'd been doing so a lot lately, and turned around, deciding that he too could use a few more hours of sleep.
"Brat?" Sasori asked the blond laying practically on top of him. He sighed when he got no reply, assuming the blond had went back to sleep. Deidara had woke the redhead in the early hours of the morning, complaining about his lower back and ass being in pain. Sasori was forced to rub the blond's back as Deidara had climbed on top of Sasori, saying he had to help because it was his fault the blond was in pain. Now, Deidara had sort of slipped off of the redhead, but his head and left arm rested on his chest, his right leg pressed closely to Sasori's left leg, while the blond's left leg was pulled up to rest over the redhead's waist. Sighing once again, Sasori stroked the blond hair with his left hand. Sasori soon lost interest and ran his hand up and down the blond's arm. Deidara stirred, goose bumps forming on his skin as he attempted to cuddle closer to the other man, trying to steel as much of his body heat as possible. Sasori noticed this and pulled their blankets over them. Soon the blond relaxed and sighed, dreaming happily of his precious danna, who had luckily decided he wanted to take a chance on the blond and started a relationship with Deidara. Just in time too, as Hidan was on his way to beat the redhead. Sasori stared at the blond before reaching over towards his night stand and pulling out a book, deciding he was to read while waiting for Dei to wake up.
Pein moaned softly at first before he decided to turn up the volume and moan louder. He moaned from deep in his throat, then grunted along with a small growl. He was laying back on the bed, legs spread open as he couldn't help, but moan once more. He couldn't keep it in anymore.
"Pein? What are you doing?" Konan asked as she stepped into the room and looked over her boyfriend. Pein moaned again, causing Konan to raise a brow in question.
"I can't take it!" Pein said, exasperated.
"Can't take what?" Konan asked cautiously. Looking over the man for any sign that he was hurt or aroused, anything for the cause of his moaning.
"Hidan and Kakuzu, they won't stay quiet," he started of loudly, but whispered at the end.
"What? They aren't together, well not that I know of, have they been-"
"No, they keep arguing. They're giving me a headache and second thoughts whether or not I can lead this group," Pein said as he rolled over and pressed his face into the pillows.
"You're a great leader Pein, you-"
"A man died because of me, Konan," Pein said as his voice cracked slightly.
"So this is what it's really about?" She asked as she sat down next to her man and started rubbing his back. Pein was silent as he turned his head to look at her. His eyes held an immense amount of sadness. He was blaming himself.
"Morning, beautiful, what's for breakfast?" Sai asked as he entered the kitchen and greeted Ino.
"Wouldn't you like to know," Ino answered, blushing lightly at the nickname. Sai had an obsession with giving everyone nicknames, though none of them were good and most weren't fitting at all. Last week he was trying to give Sakura a nickname and ended up calling her ugly, which got the crap beaten out of him. So as to avoid this again, he nicknamed Ino beautiful, which got the crap beaten out of him by Sakura again, though the nickname stuck. Gaara was sitting at the kitchen table already feeling irritated with the mushy moment. He stood up and practically ran from the kitchen, retreating for the moment.
He walked into the living room and sat on a couch, feeling the need to groan loudly when a certain blond came bouncing into the room. He spotted Gaara and immediately pounced. Literally. He glomped the redhead and smiled widely, greeting the boy before he started to chatter crazily, still on top of Gaara. The redhead was already used to this and found a way to just shut the babbling blond out. He never really focused on what the blond said, but still appreciated his company. He tuned in, however, when the boy's voice started to turn sad. Gaara looked into the saddened eyes of Naruto and listened as he spoke sadly about someone.
"I mean, I miss my mom, not knowing where she is, if she's even still alive, but why does he have to hate me so much?" Naruto asked, he had a habit of mixing topics together, talking about one thing before dropping it completely and talking of another, before talking about the first thing again. Gaara was almost tempted to ask who he was talking about, but decided against it. Naruto would mention who soon enough.
"I mean, he says he doesn't hate me, but I know he does. He has that look in his eyes, the same look everyone used to give me!" Naruto exclaimed, gripping Gaara's shirt tightly in his fist. He frowned down at Gaara's chest before pressing his face into it, smiling a small smile when he felt the redhead awkwardly pat the top of his head.
"No one hates you," Gaara stated quietly.
Naruto was silent for a moment before replying, tears in his eyes, threatening to fall;
"Hidan does,"
"Hey! Dumbass don't fucking push me around!" Hidan yelled as Kakuzu pushed him out of the room, Hidan accidentally fell into Shino.
"Then hurry up, Hidan, wasted time is wasted money," Kakuzu replied as he shut the door behind him.
"Keh, whatever, dumbass, hey sorry for bumping into ya, bug boy, it was the dumbass' fault," Hidan said as he pointed his thumb over his shoulder at Kakuzu. Shino lifted a brow, not used to the religious man apologising. Kiba snickered quietly behind him.
"Nah, it's fine man," Kiba answered for him, waving a hand in dismissal.
"Fucking good then," Hidan mumbled and walked away. He stopped, however as he heard Naruto talk to someone, he decided to listen in once he noticed the blond's saddened voice.
"No one hates you," the other redhead spoke, Hidan knew it wasn't Sasori. Sasori had a velvety voice while this one was scratchy or whatever.
"Hidan does," the blond said, his voice cracked before a muffled sob was heard. Hidan sneakily looked around the corner to see Naruto on top of Gaara, the boy's shirt clutched tightly in Naruto's hands, his knuckles turning white, while his head was pressed against the redhead's chest. His shoulders were shaking violently as he was trying to suppress his cries. Hidan frowned, pressing his back against the wall, the conversation ringing through his head.
He nearly screamed like a girl when Pein appeared in front of him, saying he had an assignment for him. Hidan took deep breaths, trying to calm his rapidly beating heart before taking a deep breath for a different reason, readying himself to scream the ginger's head off.
"You fucking piece of shit! Don't do that! You hear me?! You nearly gave me a fucking heart attack! You don't just magically fucking appear in front of people!" Hidan yelled, breathing deeply at the end, staring at Pein.
"Right, I have an assignment for you, Kakuzu, Naruto and Sasuke, come," he said as he walked passed Hidan.
Naruto had stopped crying and sat up with Gaara once they heard Hidan start to yell. Once Pein walked into the room, Naruto looked at him in question.
"Come, Naruto, Gaara," Pein motioned as he walked into the kitchen, Hidan walking after him slowly.
Once in the kitchen they waited for the others to arrive. Soon Kakuzu, Sasuke, Sasori, Deidara and Lee walked into the kitchen.
"Good, you're all here," Pein started as he motioned for everyone to take a seat.
"I have assignments for two groups, the first group Kakuzu, Hidan, Naruto and Sasuke are to go to the hospital for more medical supplies, also there has been sightings of another group near by, that is what you Sasori, Deidara, Gaara and Lee are for. You are to track this group, determine whether or not they are a threat. If not, offer them a place to stay here, should they be dangerous you are to eliminate them," Pein said as he looked over them, hoping deep within himself that they don't loose more of their group.
"When should we leave?" Sasuke asked.
"Soon, breakfast first," Pein said as plates of food were set in front of them.
"Thank you for the food,"
