Sasuke: Don't care
Hime: Fine, no more NaruSasu for you!
Sasuke: *groans* FINE! I'LL DO THE STUPID DISCLAIMER!

Sasuke: *sighs deeply* Hime does not own anything...
Hinata sighed deeply once Itachi finished his story.
"I cannot believe you didn't tell me any of this..."
"I'm sorry Angel...truly I am..."
To his surprise, the younger girl roughly punched his shoulder with an annoyed expression on her face.
"I was your teammate! Not to mention your fiancee! Didn't you trust me to keep it quiet that you were going to be a a double agent?!"
Itachi opened his mouth to respond but closed it again when he saw tears in her eyes.
Sighing deeply, Itachi leaned forward and kissed her gently on the mouth.
It took a few seconds but slowly she started to kiss him back and close her eyes to lose herself in the familiar feeling. Itachi was surprised that she was responding to him but then again, she always did surprise him.
Flashback
"Itachi..."
"Yes Hina-hime?"
Itachi turned to see Hinata shyly looking at him.
"What's the matter?"
Hinata said nothing and just motioned with her hands that she wanted Itachi to crouch down to her eye level. Curious on what the small child was upto, he did as she asked only to be suddenly pulled to meet her lips in a kiss. Before Itachi could fully comprehend what was happening, Hinata pulled away. Itachi just stared in shock at what he thought was a seemingly innocent child until she giggled and waved goodbye.
"Bye Itachi"
She ran off & Itachi wasted no time to go after her, determined to get her back for the stunt she pulled.
End of Flashback
Hinata moved to sit up as they continued kissing and in response, Itachi moves his arms to wrap around her waist to hold her close to him as he tilts his head to deepen the kiss even further. Slowly, she cups his face in her hands, enjoying the moment between them and that's when she remembered.
She pulled away gently, speaking softly as her lips brush against his.
"I'm still mad at you for not telling me"
"I know" sighs Itachi.
Hinata moved back a little to meet his eyes.
"It was you wasn't it?"
Obsidian onyx eyes blinked in confusion at her words so she continued.
"It was you that left me spider lilies in my hospital room while I was recovering from the shock of the eye transplant."
Itachi nodded and moved his own right hand to touch hers that was on his face.
"How did you know?"
"Only you and Naruto knows I like spider lilies. Naruto only brings me big yellow sunflowers to cheer me up so it couldn't have been him plus I did find it odd that Sai took credit for them."
It was quick but Hinata saw a flash of annoyance cross the Uchiha's face and for some reason it made her laugh.
"What's so funny?"
"I love you Uchiha Itachi."
Itachi blinked his eyes at the sudden confession.
"H-hina-"
"I love you, no matter how much I wanted to try and hate you I couldn't. All I could remember was the teenager that I played with growing up, the selfless leader that led my team, the clan heir that looked like he was the happiest person in the world when we found out about our engagement and the guy that would pick me up and sneak a kiss or two whenever we were alone. Gosh you have no idea how happy I am that you're still the same man I love."
Hinata was crying now but Itachi knew they were tears of joy. He lifted his head and kissed her.
"All I ever need in this world is you Angel'
"Do you mean that?"
Itachi nodded and watched as Hinata wiped away the tears with the back of her hand.
"Good because I have a plan."
Sasuke paced back and forth on the carpet of her guest room, trying to understand what happened earlier.
The Uchiha just had her bath and she was now dressed in her robe and her long hair was wrapped in a towel. Exasperated, she sat on her bed in an angry huff.
The sudden sound of knocking on her door interrupted her thoughts.
Who could that be?
"Enter"
Sasuke turned and was surprised to see Kakashi.
"What are you doing here?"
"You acted odd during dinner. Mind if I sit with you?"
Sasuke frowned, to be honest she didn't remember much about dinner. The powerful flashback she got in the cafe in the afternoon was heavily plaguing her mind.
"Sasuke?"
"Huh? Oh yeah sure. Sit."
The Uchiha moved to give Kakashi more room and he sat down watching the genin carefully with his good eye.
"What?"
"What happened today?"
Sasuke frowned, unsure of what to tell him so she kept quiet trying to think but Kakashi mistook her silence as a reluctance to speak so he spoke.
"Sakura said you had a powerful flashback of some sort earlier."
Sasuke blinked, "She told you?"
The jounin nodded, "I went to see her before I came to see you."
"Hn. So does that mean you know what happened between her and Naruto?"
"Yup. I'll check on Naruto later."
"At least Sakura wasn't as moody as she was at dinner compared to how she was in the morning."
"Maybe but the tension at dinner was so thick you could cut it with a knife considering how you and Sakura weren't really eating and was just playing with your food. It's a good thing the Sabaku kids are close with Naruto and I was spared a not too painfully awful awkward dinner."
The dark haired girl snorted at his exaggeration.
"Sasuke. Was the flashback about the Uchiha Massacre?" the jounin asked gently, not wanting to set off the temperamental girl.
As she opened her mouth to reply him, she suddenly froze and another flashback came to her.
Flashback
"Sasuke!" Fugaku yelled disapprovingly.
"I want to marry Hinata!" cried out Sasuke as he stomped his foot.
"I already signed the contract Sasuke! There is no turning back! Itachi and Hinata will marry once they are of age!"
Sasuke felt tears sting into his eyes, "But I love Hinata! I liked her the moment I saw her! Itachi-nii always gets what I want! I want Hinata!"
Mikoto looked down at her son sympathetically before bending down to meet his eye-level.
"Sasuke, your brother and Hinata like each other too and seemed genuinely happy that they're engaged. Won't you be happy for them?"
The small boy shook his head, upset. "No! I won't give up!"
The parents watched in shock as Sasuke turned around and ran off.
"Get back here boy!" Fugaku yelled.
Sasuke didn't turn back.
He was mad at his parents for engaging the girl he liked to his big brother.
He was mad that the two even liked each other.
He was mad that his parents had engaged them two years ago without telling him.
He was just so mad...
Not to mention upset...
Unfair!
