Hime: Hi! Sorry for the late update, I've been really really busy!

Hope you enjoy!

I don't own anything!

Hinata's funeral was a heart wrenching time for everyone to go through. If her teammates and Hanabi weren't crying, the funeral would have been eerily quiet.

The weather dampened the mood even further, perfect weather for a funeral some would say. The rain drizzled down into a fine mist, the drops of water hailing down like ice. Hanabi shivered under the cool air that smelled like earth as she stood on the ground that oozed with mud.

Why her? Why did she die?

Hanabi turned to see Kiba angrily stomp into the mud, his hands clenched into fists with tears streaming down his face. Shino who was also crying silently next to him, moved to squeeze his teammates shoulder in an effort to calm him down but Kiba only cried harder.

Why the hell did she go on a mission on her own?!

If Shino had the time to muse, he would have been going over that very question in his mind but right now, Shino was grieving, all of the memories of the disowned Hyuuga playing in his mind as he stared at the polished black coffin.

Hanabi could not stop sniffling and turned her attention away from Team 8 to look at the wet coffin, she knew she was going to get a cold but she didn't care. She had to be here. Only Neji and herself had come to the funeral.

Hanabi grit her teeth, her father refused to come saying since she was no longer a Hyuuga, she is of no relevance to him.

That was cruel. Despite her replaced eyes, she still had her father's blood in her veins but Hiashi obviously could care less.

Or maybe...just maybe...he wanted to grieve over Hinata privately.

Hanabi shook her head, even if that was the case, it did not change anything. Hinata was dead now and no one can bring her back.

The Hyuuga heiress turned to look at her protector and cousin, Hyuuga Neji whose own gaze was soft and pained.

She wished she knew what to say to comfort him but there was no way anything anybody would say could make it better.

Shizune looked dead, to put it bluntly, and Team 7 who stood next to her looked awful. Sasuke looked like a complete mess; with tired red eyes and very horrendous bedhead hair. Naruto who stood beside her was stock still, his hands in his pockets with an expressionless face which surprised Hanabi because this was Naruto who wore his heart on his sleeve.

He's grieving too…

With a start, she heard loud sobbing and turned to see a devastated Kurenai Yuuhi who must have just returned from her mission. Hanabi saw Sarutobi Asuma move toward her so she turned away knowing fully well that he would try to comfort her the best she can.

Hanabi looked up at the sky and closed her eyes, praying silently for her sister.

The ceremony began.

Sasuke was accompanied home by a quiet Kakashi after the funeral. He didn't even read his perverted orange book like he normally does Sasuke noted but didn't ask him about it because she didn't feel like talking, she was way too emotionally exhausted for this.

The jounin knew Sasuke was heart broken. After everything they went through, Hinata turns up dead and Sasuke would never get back his childhood friend.

Sasuke didn't want to say anything but her heart felt painful and she had to let this out.

"Hinata was my best friend. She even gave me my first kiss. She said I was her first kiss too."

"Sasuke...you don't have-"

"I loved her Kakashi...so much...I loved her and I hurt her. I told her to go away at my family's funeral and I yelled at her. I made her cry and now I can never apologize. I want to die."

Kakashi's eye softened, "You don't mean that."

Sasuke sniffled. "My heart hurts more than my head ever did. This pain...I-"

"You'll be okay Sasuke, I'm here." Kakashi takes his student's hand in his, squeezing it comfortingly.

I'll look after you

Naruto yanked open the coffin with his bare hands. It was midnight now and if his guess was right, Hinata was not dead. He moved into the coffin and as as he moved lower, almost immediately, the scent of the poison alerted his senses. He did not know how long ago the poison was applied so he could not waste time. If he missed the deadline then Hinata would really die.

He pulled out the vial from his pants pocket and fed her the contents, the liquid moving into her mouth across her pink lips. He stared, waiting for a reaction but after two full minutes of nothing, he realized something was wrong.

No, no no no!

He moved to sit Hinata up and tried to shake her awake, "Wake up! Wake up! You idiot wake up!"

She can't be dead, she can't!

Kit, the princess isn't dead yet...

Then why isn't she waking up?!

She took too much of that blasted poison, you need to remove it from her mouth orally.

W-what? Hell no!

Do you want her dead then?!

Naruto froze, Kyuubi's harsh tone hitting him hard. He loved Hinata but if he were to do what Kyuubi was suggesting…

Shit that would be incest damn it!

You guys aren't real siblings damn it!

But we're close like ones!

Stop wasting time and fucking do it already you stupid gaki!

Naruto gulped and hoped he wasn't too late.

Taking out the spare vial of the antitoxin after resting Hinata's head on his lap, he applies the contents of the vial onto his lips. He moves to pick Hinata's head up and grips her hair on the back of her head tightly before proceeding to kiss her hard on the mouth.

Ever so painfully slowly, Naruto's eyes widened when he felt his free hand that was resting on Hinata's body, shiver under the cool night air. Naruto softly pecked her lips again and again, the poison was losing effect with his counter toxin which meant she was going to awaken but there was a problem, her lips haven't moved which worried him. He needed her to regain more mobility or the poison was going to paralyze her.

He moved his hands downwards to squeeze her hand in his before moving away to pour the rest of the counter toxin in his mouth.

He pulls Hinata's head toward him, prying her mouth open with his tongue making sure the medicine entered her throat.

Hinata awoke with a start, feeling very warm in the face. Before she could even think of stopping her friend, Naruto moved to take her tongue in his mouth making Hinata's eyes widened in alarm until her rational side kicked in.

Naruto was sucking the poison out.

The presumed dead kunoichi closed her eyes and moved to tenderly cup her best friend's whiskered cheek in her trembling hand.

Naruto's inner demon, the Kyuubi no Yoko breathed a sigh of relief.

Looks like the anti toxin worked after all.
