Hinata had never seen Naruto this mad at her.

Ever

If she was honest with herself, she was actually feeling kind of scared.

"WHAT IN THE HELL POSSESSED YOU TO DO SOMETHING THAT STUPID & RECKLESS?!"

The forme Hyuuga heiress cringed but her blonde friend was far from done.

"YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE THE SMART ONE! WHAT IF I DIDN'T FIGURE IT OUT HUH? WHAT IF THE PLAN FAILED AND YOU DIED? JUST WHAT THE HELL MADE YOU SO FUCKING BRAINLESS TO DO THIS?"

The young kunoichi sitting on Naruto's couch closed her eyes, her ears were ringing from his volume.

"Y-you...do you have any idea what you put everyone through?"

Surprised by the soft tone, she opens her eyes to look up at him only to see him look downcast and depressed.

"What you put me through?"

Naruto lifts his head and she saw tears in his eyes. She had never seen her best friend shed tears when he's not wearing his facade.

"Hinata, you were the first person to be nice to me. You protected me, you became my first precious person, you became someone I l-love so damn much that if you really had died, I-I d-don't know what I'll do…"

"N-naru-"

"S-shut up, I'm not done idiot.."

"You're my partner. My sister. I may not love you romantically but I know for sure there is no one else I rather give my life for than you Hina."

Tears flowed down the her face in an instant, there was no denying the sincerity in his words. She closed her eyes, crying harder in front of her friend, Naruto who was watching her. He felt numb inside and not because he made her cry but the reality of the fact that his best friend could have died and all because she was trying to fake her death.

"What was so important that you had to do that?"

Hinata opened her mouth about to answer but instead of words coming out of her mouth, a hiccup came and another and another after that.

Naruto shakes his head and sighs deeply, "I'll get you some water."

The blonde leaves his childhood friend alone in his living room to be by herself as he ponders over his thoughts.

Sasuke Uchiha stepped out of her black robe, eyes set on the big bathtub full of thick, foamy bubbles. She padded naked to the tub side, stepped over the ledge, and eased herself down among the frothy bubbles, delighting in the heat of the water and the silky smooth of the bubbles as they made contact with her flesh. Sasuke sank lower into the vanilla scented bubbles in the bathtub, her muscles relaxing in the water.

After a while, she opens her eyes and moves to sit up in the soapy water to take her shampoo. The Uchiha winces uncomfortably at first as the cold substance hit the top of her head. She slowly moves her hands upwards to rub the cool substance, which was marshmallow-scented shampoo, into her scalp, and works her way down through her long midnight blue dark hair.

Sasuke was glad she rummaged through the bathroom cupboards. She was hoping for some strong pain medication to knock herself out but instead she finds her mother's private bath things. Deciding maybe a bath would do her better, she took two of the scented bathing materials and made her bath.

It felt good actually Sasuke admitted. Really good. Now, Sasuke finally understood why females take so long in the bathroom. Sasuke smiled softly to herself, her mind felt clear after crying her heart out with Kakashi who hugged her tightly till she stopped. He made her dinner when they got home, told her about Obito and some stories about his old team which made her cheer up. Kakashi really was more than a sensei, he cared about her.

Speaking of people that cared about her, Sasuke's mind drifted to Naruto. He was expressionless and looked blank throughout the day. Sasuke realized she had been selfish. Naruto had been with Hinata far longer that she had been so obviously Naruto would grive even more, God knows what he could be feeling right now. Naruto had more memories of Hinata than Sasuke did after all.

Maybe I should visit him later or something…

"You have got to be joking..."

"Do you really think I would joke about something like this Naruto?"

"You are insane! This plan is crazy!"

"But workable! If you're on mine and Itachi's side it could work!"

Naruto stood up from his armchair, visibly furious, "How are you so sure what he is even telling you is the truth? What if it's all a lie?!"

"You and I both know that this makes a whole lot more sense on why he would even do it! It's a conspiracy!"

Naruto glared back as she stood up against him, eyes blazing but before he could open his mouth to argue again a familiar bird flew into his window.

Hinata turned and frowned, recognizing the bird.

"That's Sai's bird."

She walked forward and took the scroll that was attached to the bird to open it. Naruto came over, standing behind her as the two read it together.

Dear Naruto,

I am probably dying or bleeding out right now as I had went off to fight Danzo. Yes I am fighting him alone which is suicidal but I had to because I want to die. I need to die because I want to be with her. I have to be with Hinata. I can't live any longer knowing she is gone and I want to die honourably by trying to end Danzo to put an end to all the horrible things he is putting our village through.

Thank you for being the best friend I have ever had. I wish you well.

PS: There is two seals at the bottom of the will reveal the truth about Itachi who was really tying to stop traitors by committing the Uchiha Massacre and the other is all of the files Danzo has on you and Hinata.

"That idiot!"

The two friends dropped the scroll and ran out of Naruto's apartment, completely oblivious to the fact that they had ran past a stricken Sasuke who saw them.

"H-Hinata...is a-alive?"

With that thought in mind, she ran after them.
