Episode 13: Metamorphosis
Note: As civilians I will use their real names.
Steel City...
The Titans East and Robin are fighting Larkman. Robin throws three explosives disks, which Larkman blasts down with his wrist guns.
Terra now donning a brown costume drops several boulders on Larkman. Larkman does some acrobatics easily avoiding the rocks. Robin pause for a moment with his eyes wide upon what he saw, as it greatly resembles his.
Speedy jumps in and grabs Larkman from behind with his bow.
"So your the Larkman, I've heard about.", Speedy said. "I heard stories of an armored blue bird taking the title of "Worlds Deadliest Assassin" to the point you've become a target to the other assassins."
"Hey, a title that big will give you lots of enemies. Like the Man of Steel or the World's Greatest Detective.", Larkman said breaking free only to be tackled by Robin.
"Those moves! Where did you learn them?", Robin asks harshly with his elbow on Larkman's neck, although that did nothing as his neck is also armored.
"What's the matter circus boy?", Larkman asks shocking Robin. "Surprise to see some moves that they use?"
Larkman then kicks the shocked Robin off of him and jump onto some crates. He then stares at Speedy, Aqualad and Robin.
"The side-kicks of Batman, Green Arrow and Aquaman.", Larkman said. "I'm insulted that the big guys are not hear to fight me themselves."
Larkman then throws a cube to the air which creates a force field around himself, Robin, Speedy and Aqualand. "Let's all have a private chat."
"Guys!", Bumblebee calls out trying to break the shield.
"No good, it design to prevent us from helping, seeing and hearing them.", Terra said. Just then her communicator beeps. Terra picks it up.
Titans Tower...
Several Minutes Ago...
Starfire stands in front of Raven's door waiting for her friend to come out. After the Raven's emotion incident Raven seemed to change. She appears to be more cheerful, although Starfire assume that Raven is just happy after telling her what Mard told the Titan before.
"Raven's last birthday not only signals her time of being the key of freeing Trigon, but there is a catch for Trigon himself. If by any change Trigon is defeated by the key after his release, he will permanently lose control of that said key. In other words Trigon can no longer control Raven anymore. Of course that takes time and appears the losing of control is now taking effect.", Mard said to the Titans before disappearing.
"That would explain why her skin tone is different.", Starfire said recalling Raven's skin changing from gray to fair. "Mard also points out that Trigon locked up most of Raven's power and with his control of her gone that lock is removed as well." In other words Raven in entering a stage of metamorphosis like Starfire before, but in a different way. Just then the door opens.
Raven walks out looking much different. For starters she is almost as tall as her and over her larger leotard is a dark blue dress with high slits. While not a revealing, it still improves her beauty.
"Nice dress.", Starfire said.
"Thanks, it used to be my mother's.", Raven answers with a smile before the Tower alarm went off.
Both Raven and Starfire look out the window to find a large rock creature running up the path of the island. Starfire grabs her T-Comm to call for Robin or Terra, since its a rock creature, while Raven heads down to stop it meeting up with Beast Boy.
"WHERE IS SHE!?", the rock monster yells out as Beast Boy charge out first. He change into a rhino and charge.
"WHERE IS MY...!", before the rock monster can finish Rhino BB rams it to the ground and stands over it. The rock monster grabs the rhino by the neck and toss him into the lake, Beast Boy morphs back into his human form before crashing into the water, scream as he did so. Raven stops and summons her power.
"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!", she chants, trapping the rock monster in a sphere and lifts it into the air.
"Raven! Behind you!", Starfire yells flying out the window after calling Terra, while unable to contact Robin. Raven turns around to see a rock hand bursting out of the ground behind her.
"What in the name of Vasirix...!?" she said, stunned. The hand grasps her forcing her to stop her spell freeing the rock monster.
"WHERE IS MY...", the rock monster yells again only to be blasted Starfire's high-powered starbolts.
"Unhand Raven you beast!", she demands firing again. The bolts blasted several pieces off, but they quickly put themselves back together.
Raven struggle to break free of the grip, but only to have the rock hand tightening it's grip. Raven's body then glows and her body change once again. She appears in a more armored outfit (New 52 uniform) and easily breaks out of the grip. She jumps and land a powerful kick to the rock monster. Just as the rock monster gets back up, Raven place her hand on it and cast a freezing spell, freezing the creature.
Beast Boy, who had walked back out of the walk, walks up to the girls. He then notice Raven's once again changed appearance. Raven answers before he could ask.
"I have the ability to change forms. The one I'm in now is specifically made for physical combat, hence the armor look. This decrease my magical powers to the point I must touch my targets to use them, but increase my fighting skills, strength and speed."
Beast Boy then close his mouth. Starfire then speaks up
"What manner of creature is this?", Starfire asks. "And what does he want from us?"
"From what it was saying. It was looking for something… or someone.", Raven states changing back to her normal form. "Cyborg should provide some answers."
"Speak of the devil.", Beast Boy said as the said Titan walks out onto the scene.
"Already on it.", Cyborg replies. "Sorry I'm late for the party ya'll. I was jacked into the T-Ship running a diagnostic when the alarm sound—uh oh. Everyone… TAKE COVER!" Everyone does so as the rock monster breaks out of the ice prison sending multiple ice blocks flying.
"Looks like I'm going to have to take this up all the way to eleven.", Cyborg said as he takes out his sonic cannon and shot it at the intruder. The blast shatters the rock monster and coming out of it is a young man, caucasian, with spiky red hair, a bit older than any of them, unconscious. He wears a yellow and reddish orange uniform on, and the letters GF were on his chest.
"Whoa!", Beast Boy states in surprise. "Talk about blowing someone's socks—or stony crusty outer shell off!"
"Is he… all right?", Starfire asks in concern.
"Man, I didn't know there was a dude under all of that!", Cy states worriedly as he used a high-powered blast, while Raven runs up to the man putting her hand on his forehead to check..
"He's unconscious, but he'll be ok.", she states.
"But who is he? GF?" Beast Boy questions, reading the letters on the dude's chest.
"His name is Geo-Force.", a voice calls out. The four Titans look up and see Terra on a floating rock. "And he's my brother."
In the medical bay, Geo-Force lies on one of their hospital beds. Raven straps him up with her powers, as Terra points out that he gets rather cranky when it comes to waking up.
The four then turns to Terra asking for answers.
"So what is your relation with Geo-Force?", Beast Boy asks.
"Like with most of the other Titans I have a rather sad and complicated past.", Terra said holding her arm. "But before you met me, I was a member of the Royal House of Markov. And my father was the King of Markovia."
This surprise the Titans. Terra was a princess? Then again the Titans do have other members that are princess. Wondergirl, Starfire, and Raven (since Trigon is lord of some worlds).
"TERRRRAAAAA!", Geo-Force screams as he wakes up suddenly, scaring Beast Boy into a bird. Geo-Force turns to the green boy as he change back.
"You! Where is my sister? What have you people done with her?", he demands.
"Calm down man! We didn't do anything to Terra!", Cyborg said.
"Then where is she?" Geo-Force asks angrily, not recognizing the blonde girl near him due to her uniform and mask.
"Well, She's, um, you know, it's uh, kind of a long story?" Cy replies. Geo-Force frowns and starts to make the entire island shake.
"Tell me where my sister is or I'll bring this whole building down on you!", He threatens angrily.
"Brion, stop!", Terra said removing her mask. "You'll bring the building down on yourself too."
Geo-Force stares at Terra in shock, but then smiles in relief and happiness.
Steel City...
"So tell me sidekicks. Why do you still wear those kids clothes?", Larkman asks.
"We are not sidekicks!", Speedy declares.
"You sure? You still have the name and uniform of the sidekicks.", Larkman mocks.
"What are you saying?", Robin questions.
"Don't you understand? You're locked up on the inside. After all these years not one of you have even grown up.", Larkman states. "Do you plan to forever remain in their shadows? Face it Speedy no one will ever respect you. To the world you are nothing but a child."
This angers Speedy to the point he starts firing recklessly on Larkman. Larkman cuts them down with his talons.
"And Robin, seriously making weapons capable of counteracting your family's powers. Isn't that a Batman thing?", Larkman questions. "You are becoming more and more like him. Especially that temper. Who knows maybe Starfire will become another Catwoman or Talia."
Robin finally snaps drawing his staff and attacking Larkman in rage. "I am not like Batman!"
"Finally, Aqualad. Has Aquaman ever let you on a solo mission? Does he babysit you all the time?", Larkman asks. "Maybe because you are just a lowly peasant, while he is the king. I mean you can't even do advance level hydrokinesis, while the others in your class can. I wonder what Aquaman saw in you? Was it pity?"
An enraged Aqualad summon bolts of electricity from his body and fires them onto Larkman.
"Face it, sidekicks. You're only second rate.", Larkman mocks. "None of you kids even know that you have been replaced."
Titans Tower...
After explaining to Geo-Force over what she had been doing during her time gone Geo-Force the walks up to the Titans.
"I thank you all for taking great care of my sister.", Geo-Force starts.
"Don't mention it.", Beast Boy said before putting his arm on Geo-Force's shoulder. "Hey, maybe I should call you big brother too, huh?"
"What?"
Raven grabs Beast Boy by the ear and drags him out. "And I'll call you crazy."
"Well, as she told you both Terra and I are members of the Royal House of Markov.", Geo-Force starts.
Flashback...
A young Brion was practicing sword fighting with Colonel Bedlam, while Gregor watches.
"Very good Brion.", the colonel states. "Keep up the great work! You'll be in your Gregor's level in no time!"
"Come on, Gregor is one of the best swordsman in the world. Skill enough to block bullets.", Brion states, suddenly there was a crash at the other end of the room. Colonel Bedlam place his hand on his forehead.
"Prince Tara, come out of there. I know you're hiding.", he states. A six year old blonde girl walks out from behind the tall couch.
"I just wanted to watch.", She said. "Gotta problem?"
"I don't blame your curiousity, but aren't you supposed to be at your sewing lesson?", Bedlam asks.
"Sewing's for girls!", Tara explain. "I hate it!"
"But you are a girl.", Gregor points out.
"I still don't like it.", Tara grumble. "Hey! Can I sword fight with you guys?"
"Absolutely not!", Bedlam said. "Your father and mother will not approve!" Tara humphs in annoyance. Suddenly the large doors open and a messenger walks in.
"My Lord and Lady. The king would like to see you now." The two younger siblings leaves with the messenger while Gregor picks up his sword to train with Bedlam. Bedlam watches to two leave and secretly makes an evil grin.
Later...
The two stands before the king.
"My children.", The king said from his throne. "I have exciting news for you."
"We're gonna get new lessons?", Tara asks groaning. "Cuz those aren't any fun dad."
"You are well aware how much trouble our kingdom is in, right?", the king asks, which the children answers with a nod. "Well, Dr. Helga Jace have figured out a way to build a super powered army to protect Markovia. The choice of the first set of soldiers have been decided."
"It's going to be us, isn't it?", Brion asks, clutching his sister's shoulder.
"Exactly!"
"Why can't Gregor do it?! He's can use powers better than both of us!", Tara explains defiantly.
"True, but Gregor is going to be king someday; we need to preserve him as he is. You two are my spare heir and …. The girl. This way you will both be good for something.", the king states.
"Father.", Brion said as the king stood up.
"The guards are coming now to take you to the labs to begin the experimentation that will give you your powers. I suggest you don't struggle." He stated as large men came in and started to guide the children out of the room. Brion went willingly, albeit with a sad look on his face, Tara on the other hand tried to run away so she had to be picked up and carried out of the room.
"NNOOOOO!", she screech. "I DON'T WANT IT! I DON'T WANT IT! LET ME GO!"
As the door closes Colonel Bedlam walks out of the shadows.
"Is it done?", the Colonel asks as the king removes his head revealing it to be a mask.
"Yes, your plan to take Markov is proceeding as plan.", the agent said.
"With the king out of my way, Gregor becoming my puppet, and an army of super powered beings under the command of the Lord and Lady my claim to the throne is absolute.", Bedlam declares unaware that Gregor heard the whole thing.
Flashback ends...
"Although Gregor was unable to prevent me and Tara gaining powers, he was able to prevent the brainwashing attempt.", Geo-Force continues. "Both me and Gregor was able to stop the usurpation, but the incident somewhat traumatized Terra. As she is more mentally vulnerable, she fled from home in order to escape others who will take advantage of her, but also fearing of hurting those she love."
Terra looks down sadly recalling those events.
"Since, then me and Gregor spent all our time purging our land of corruption and evil... Our job there is not yet down, but it was enough for Terra to feel same to come back home.", Geo-Force said turning to Terra. "Until today, I can't recall the last time I saw you smile. So, Terra I won't force you to leave the Titans, but are you ready to visit your home and family again?"
Terra was put at deep in thought.
Steel City...
Larkman notice his force field has finally run out of power.
"Uh-oh! Times up!", Larkman said knowing its time to leave. "Aw well, it's not they were much of a challenge."
Larkman flies off, but not before looking at the beaten trio.
"Guys! Are you alright?", Bumblebee asks trying to help Speedy up only to be pushed away.
"We're fine!", an upset Speedy states walking off with a just as upset Robin and Aqualad.
"Qué pasa con ellos? (What's with them?)", Más y Menos both asks Bumblebee.
"I don't know, but I get the feeling that Larkman opened something deep in their hearts.", Bumblebee said. "The question now is why?"
Markov...
Gregor now wearing combat armor was standing on the balcony watching the sun rise. He then sees something approaching. It was Geo-Force and to his surprise Terra.
The three siblings then hug united as a family once more.

Summary: Daughter of the King of Markov and half-sister of Geo-Force and Gregor.
Terra is the princess of Markov, thru an affair her father had although the king kept it a secret from public. Although a half-sibling both Geo-Force and Gregor love her greatly. Before gaining super powers, she was known to be tomboyish and somewhat rebellious.
That all change when Colonel Bedlam staged a coup, by having Geo-Force and and Terra gain super powers under his control. Gregor was able to prevent the brainwashing attempt, but the incident traumatized and changed Terra, forcing her to run away from home.
During her journey in self-exile she meets the Teen Titans and Slade/Deathstroke, which indirectly repeated the event that transpired when she gained her power as she trusted the Titans as a family, while trusting Slade/Deathstroke through understanding. See the world untrustworthy and to save her family she turns to stone, until her revival through Trigon and Raven.
Terra chose to start her life all over again, but was force to return to her old one once Ravager comes to Jump City. Despite everything that happened in the past, the Titans forgave her of her actions knowing what she's been through and welcomes her back to the family again.
