Sophia doesn't know what to say or really what to think after making her way back to the kitchen. She stares off into space.
"You okay? You look like you just seen a ghost." Says Baldroy
"Oh no. I'm just having a bad morning." Says Sophia
Mey-Rin comes into the kitchen.
"Do you plan on helping do anything today?" she asks while adjusting her glasses.
"Mey-Rin I am not in the mood. I follow Sebastian's orders not yours." Sophia snaps
"Well I've been here longer than you." Says Mey-Rin
She crosses her hands over her chest.
"Why don't you go stalk Sebastian some more and piss off." Says Sophia.
"Sophia language." Says Baldroy in surprise.
Sophia already knew if Mey-Rin didn't get out of her face things were going to get pretty ugly from here on out.
"Screw you and the high horse you rode in on." Says Mey-Rin
Baldroy stands there with his mouth open in disbelief.
"The high horse I rode in on?" asks Sophia.
"Yeah I said it. You think your so much better than the rest of us admit it!" Says Mey-Rin.
"Oh pathethic stalker of Sebastian don't get loud with me because you sit in this house like furniture not lifting a finger until I came along!"
"That's a lie you're a liar!" screams Mey-Rin.
"This is getting out of hand you two need to calm down."
Baldroy steps in between Mey-Rin and Sophia but is pushed away by Mey-Rin.
"You are the laziest most delusional loser that I have ever seen." Says Sophia.
"And who do you think you are? I know you think your better than me but you're not! As matter of fact you're not worth spitting on." Says Mey-Rin.
"Don't try to act tough because you don't scare me!" says Sophia
Damian enters the kitchen with a smile on his face. Two women fighting this could be interesting. Master Ciel pushes past Damian with Sebastian on his heels.
"What is the meaning of this?"asks Ciel.
"Sophia started it!" shouts Mey-Rin.
"Oh please Mey-Rin you've been riding my ass since I got here!" yells Sophia.
"That's quite enough." Says Sebastian very calmly.
Sophia turns to Sebastian.
"Mey-Rin is in love with you and thinks you feel the same way." Says Sophia.
Damian bursts out in laugher. Master Alois and Claude appear in the kitchen now behind Sebastian.
"You bitch!"
Mey-Rin lands an open hand slap right across Sophia's cheek. The slap seems to echo off the walls. Sophia's eyes widen.
"Did you just slap me?" she asks in shock
The tension is so thick in the room that you could cut it with a knife. Mey-Rin shakes her head and slowly takes off her glasses. Sophia nods her head in approval and is shockingly calm all of a sudden.
"You're right about what you said."
"What?" asks Sophia.
"I am in love with Sebastian."
The kitchen is grave silent as everyone hangs on Mey-Rin's words except Damian who laughs again. The ladies were quite entertaining.
"And I know that you are too."
Everyone in the room gasps and Damian quickly stops laughing.
"And don't try to lie." Adds Mey-Rin
Sophia opens her mouth but nothing comes out except for a weird sounding gasp and she can't help herself. Sophia looks into Sebastian's eyes confirming Mey-Rin's statement by the process. The guests look back and forth at Mey-Rin then Sophia waiting for more secrets to be revealed. Sophia manages to quickly gather herself and try to cover up what Mey-Rin has revealed.
"Don't embarrass yourself any further Mey-Rin. Why would I be I love with Sebastian he obviously isn't interested in any woman so it would be a waste of time. Besides Claude will be courting me now."
Mey-Rin puts back on her glasses.
"Huh?" she says.
"Claude he told me that he wants to court me." Says Sophia.
Everyone looks at Claude who clears his throat with a twinkle in his eye.
"Yes Miss Sophia is correct."
Sophia has to hold her breath for a second to keep from screaming at Claude for calling her that name.
She is more shocked to see Sebastian quietly lock eyes with Claude. Sebastian suddenly seemed tense and very silent. Sophia notices this right away but she can't do anything. She smiles then looks Mey-Rin square in the eye but Mey-Rin has a lost look on her face.
"My apologies but I was under the impression that you were available." Says Damian.
Sophia swallows hard.
"No not anymore." Says Sophia.
She is afraid to glance at Sebastian again because Mey-Rin is still watching her.
"Enough of this then." Says Ciel
"Wait does Sebastian return her affections?" asks Damian.
Sophia now looks at Sebastian and feels as if her heart might beat right out of her chest. Sebastian can see the fear forming in Sophia's eyes as everyone pauses to hear his response.
"I have no time for romance I am here only for the master and I assumed I wasn't alone but my assumption was incorrect." Says Sebastian
Mey-Rin feels as if her heart had been yanked from her chest. Sebastian didn't return her love. This had to be some kind of a mistake on someone's part. Sophia is hurt as well because Sebastian changes the subject showing no interest whatsoever.
"Shall we continue our meal before it was so rudely interrupted." He says
Sophia wanted to scream her love for Sebastian as everyone returns to the dining room. She had to say something to Sebastian. While serving the masters Sebastian won't even look at Sophia or address her much in the way of orders. Sophia feels so sad that she just wants to jump into Sebastian's arms but can't. What had stirred her so much? Mey-Rin's words were true and she knew it. She was in love with Sebastian otherwise why would she care so much? On the other hand the corner of Claude's mouth would curl up into a half smile at Sophia. She only said she was with Claude in order to cover up the relationship between her and Sebastian. Was Sebastian just covering as well or was he secretly angry at her? Sophia can't tell anything just by looking at him. She needed to talk to him alone.
