"Koga." He started, her eyes returned to him. "You're a Saint of Light, regardless of your element. Your friends believe in you, I believe in you and so does your mother. It's your body, your mind, fight against the one invading!"
Seiya groaned as his head painfully pulsates as the tugging gets worse.
"I've gotta go." Seiya rushed, watching as Koga's eyes widened. "Remember, Koga, fight!"
And he was gone.

Seiya was thrown back violently, hitting the floor and it forced a frunt form him. He stood once more and didn't waste a moment in attacking again.. "Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken!"
Abzu grinned, barely hiding their anger and flew forward, stopping inches away from Seiya's hand. Seiya's eyes widened.
Abzu commented in visible amusement: "Your light is incomplete. Your fists are tainted with darkness."
They both narrowed their eyes, Abzu started an attack and Seiya raised his Light Cosmo. The wind created by the two attacks went on for miles, large rocks being moved by the force.
Yuna held her arms up to protect her face. "Don't do it, Koga..."
Seiya breathed deeply as he leant on one knee, his left hand placed on the ground to help stay kneeling. Abzu stood feet away watching him, expression apathetic. She readied herself for another attack.
Eden stood abruptly. "Koga!" He clenched his teeth as he raised his Cosmo, the dark spots began growing.
Abzu lifted her hand as she started an attack, while Eden sways from the loss of Cosmos. "No, Koga!" He unleashed his seven sense.
Abzu stopped her attack and looked out the corner of her eye over her shoulder. The burst of Cosmo had caught her attention. " Athena and Seiya raised and protected you. Haven't you come this far because you wanted to save Athena? Wasn't that why you left on your journey? What about Aria?" His eyes bore into Abzu's, Seiya straightens up slightly.
"Koga, you have good friends." Seiya nodded, speaking again. "Orion Saint, Eden..."
"Yes?"
"Let's get Koga back."
Eden swiftly nodded.
Abzu raised their Dark Cosmo as did Seiya and Eden with their own. Abzu held her hands out and a small whirlwind formed around her, exploding outwards.
Seiya and Eden both dodged the attack.
"Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken!"
"Hilia Mastia!"
Their attacks hit Abzu's but didn't have much of an effect. Abzu suddenly leapt into the air and punched Seiya, who blocked the first but not the several after. With one more hit, Seiya was sent flying back.
Abzu suddenly turned and Dark Cosmo shot forwards, wrapping around Eden. He gave a shout in pain as it threw him into the air.
"Eden!" Seiya jumped forward and broke the Dark Cosmo, Eden fell from its grip and toward to ground. Seiya shot after him and caught Eden, setting him on the ground.
Seiya looked up sharply when he heard Abzu land. He narrowed his eyes at her, Come on, Koga!
"Koga, do you hear me? We will defeat Abzu and protect our world! That's what you would want, what you want. Koga, come back from the darkness's control!" Seiya stood and clenched his fisted. "Koga... I will place everything on this one strike. Awaken, Koga!"
Seyia attacked with Ryu Sei Ken and Abzu returned the attack. They clashed, creating a violent rainbow of colours. As Seiya raised his Cosmo, the patches of corruption on him grew.
Abzu's fist was knocked off balance slightly giving Seiya a chance to punched her in the chest with Light Cosmos. The Dark Cosmo shot out of her.
Abzu's head was thrown back and she let out a yell of pain; the Dark Cosmos wrapped around and knocked Seiya, sending him to the ground.

SheTheyHe gritted her teeth as she clawed against them. Crying out in pain mentally as Abzu increased the weight upon her consciousness.
No! No, she wouldn't allow them to.. keep… causing—harm!
A vicious attack froze her still, Abzu used the chance to wrap around her consciousness but by doing so, took focus off from the real world.
Koga's body froze, becoming ridged, shoulders stiff.
She used the chance to thrust her consciousness forwards and immediately her knees gave way. She stared straight forwards, yet she saw nothing, her eyes took nothing in as her consciousness worked on adjusting to being in control of its own body again all the while resisting Abzu as they fought ruthlessly to seize control back.
Her blood pumped adrenaline and her head pulsated painfully. Blood dripped down her nose from the pressure on her brain as she wildly fought against Abzu, who screeched and clawed at her.
Her torso jolted, seized as her head tilted forwards, hiding her face.
Eden, Seiya and everyone watched with baited breath as Koga's body convulsed. It was an obvious fight of the mind and not the body.
Suddenly Koga inhaled deeply, shoulders straightened and eyes clearing when she bent over and clawing at her throat. She moaned pitifully as her body ached in pain. She raised her head, eyes flickering between the ruby red and her russet browns.
She squeezed her eyes closed, resting her forehead against the red ground as she called upon her Light Cosmo, tugging at it from where Abzu had packed it away. Her body tensed as the Dark and Light clashed viciously, it was almost blinding to the spectators and she screamed as the Dark Cosmo was expelled from her body, her cloth taking the full front of the explosion in protecting her, resulting in its destruction. The cracked Cloth stone hung loose from the leather strap around her neck.
Koga slumped to the ground, feeling her heart beating rapidly against her rib cage. Her lids fluttered, feeling as her Cosmo actively worked on healing the damage done to her mind, sealing the rips that would stop Abzu from being able to easily return to their former host.
It's silent except for the heavy breathing of Koga. She tensed and pushed herself upwards into as much of a sitting position as she could. She raised her head again, lids heavy as she met her dad's eyes, then her mum's. Neither held any anger or any negative emotion. Just relief.
She turned her head to see her friends laying on the ground, she heard Souma speak. "Jeez..." She met his eyes as he managed to push himself into a sitting position. "You're such an idiot."
Suddenly Dark Cosmo shot down from above and covered the large tree that Athena was merging with, rocking the ground. Koga quickly covered her face with her bruising arms to shield herself from the wind. She scrambled to her feet.
"Mum?" She stared up with wide eye.
Koga quickly turned towards Seiya when he spoke. "Koga! You can enter Abzu's darkness!" Suddenly the crystal on Seiya's chest lit up and shot towards Koga, who quickly found herself wearing what remains of the Sagittarius cloth.
"This is..."
"Pegasus..." Eden stared.
"Save Athena." Souma continued.
"Protect our light..." Haruto added. Ryuho and Yuna both nodded which Koga returned and raised her now golden white Cosmo.
The lighr engulfed her and shot upwards towards the Dark Cosmo and when it died away, Koga was no were to be seen. They looked up to see a small golden light heading towards the darkness.

Koga immediately found herself walking through water that reached her ankles. She paused her walking when a bright red light shone ahead of her.
Her eye's hardened as she clenched her fists.
"Welcome, Little One." The multi-voice of Abzu—that scarily sounded like a masculine version of her own—echoed.
Koga's eyes widen when she saw Abzu. The true body of Abzu had a beautiful appearance but like that of a demon. To complement their red eyes, they had long white hair that coved their eyes and had dark grey skin with blue markings. They had a large slender body and feminine torso, with a bust size similar to Koga. The only sort of clothing they had was attached to their hips and was a deep wine purple colour that extended to their ankles. Upon their back were wings of dark Cosmo and a large, elongated tail covered in scales.
Abzu had Dark Cosmos swaying around their body.
"My name is Abzu." Koga tsk-ed as she shifted, the water around her swashing slightly as Abzu continued. "Overseer of the creation and destruction of all things. The God of Darkness, Abzu."
Koga glared up at the God. "Where is my mother? Where is Athena?"
Abzu tilted their head forwards, their expression emotionless as they answered. "Athena will soon disappear within my darkness." Koga breath hitched as her eyes widened before it was forced into a glare again. "Athena's world is finished."
Koga raised her fist and clenching it tightly. "I'll stop you."
She was quick to leap at Abzu with a light attack. The attack did nothing as Koga was thrown backwards and landed in the water.
Suddenly Abzu disappeared and Koga was violently attacked. She gasped as her body was pushed upwards and backwards, towards the right and to the left. The final wing left on the Sagittarius cloth broke as she gasped, her body arching backwards her head thrown back.
She was dropped into the dark shallow water below, only for the water to rise and violently drop on her causing the red-haired girl to gasp in pain.
The water hauls her upwards, Koga's gritted her teeth in pain as it tightened its grip on her. "Abandon the light, Little One."
Koga tsk-ed again as she tried to break from the water's grip as she was lifted high up to Abzu, who continued to speak. "You were born out of my darkness."
Koga's let out her grunted before speaking. "No, I..." She was cut off.
"Let your darkness burn, Little One. Destroy Athena's world."
Abzu raised their hand, hovering it over Koga and before she could say a word, Koga felt the darkness once again worming its way into her mind. She screamed in panic, her head falling, back arching as she tried to resist it. Her eye widened as they flared red and her skin unwillingly tinting grey. An aura of Dark Cosmo expelled around Koga's form.

Back on the surface of Mars, there was an explosion that shook the ground. The group held on as not to get pulled away with the strong winds. Once the wind died down, Seiya opened his eyes and looked up, his eyes filled with worry.

Koga's eyes were as wide as they could possibly go. She tightened her fists and let out a cry as she called upon her light as a defence which purged the Dark Cosmo cocoon that had been forming around her.
Koga glared up at Abzu as she continued to pull at the water gripping her, panting.
"So… you will not abandon the light?"
"Of course not!" Koga yelled.
"But having been born in Athena's world has caused you to suffer?" The God of Darkness spoke sincerely as they looked to their former host, sadness and anger pulling at their face.
Suddenly a wave of strong and powerful Dark Cosmo shot upwards, hitting Koga directly in her spine and she screeched in pain. She was released from the water's grip and dropped into the shallow water, a splash followed.
Koga twitched, managing to roll onto her side, her eyes only half open. She heaved herself to her knees. "So you claim the world's suffering is because of my mother?" Koga gritted her teeth both in anger and pain. "No... She raised me despite my darkness... she said not to give into darkness but to follow the path of light."
She struggled to get to her feet as she continued. "Knowing that someday... someday, my darkness would try and kill her. She raised me anyway!"
Finally managing to stand on her feet, she tightened her fist, speaking more to herself than anyone. "Mum, I will save you from the darkness."
She raised her Cosmo and looked up, her eyes narrowed in determination. "I will do it!"

Souma pulled himself up slightly. "Koga..."
Ryuho gripped onto a piece of rock. "I can feel Koga-chan's Cosmo."
"Yeah." Haruto agreed. "Please! Save Athena..."
Both Yuna and Seiya lay on their sides facing towards them. "The light of hope."
"Yeah." Yuna breathed.
Eden shifted and let out a breath. "Koga..." The worry Orion had for Pegasus was showing and it was something that Seiya noticed.
Seiya felt his lips twitch upwards, before swallowing. It isn't the time to question those sort of things, he scolded himself mentally.

Koga saw that Abzu was no longer with her and gritted her teeth. She took a deep breath and pushed on, as she walked the water began to get deeper until it stopped at her waist.
She grunted as she climbed onto the raised floor that had no water. Her foot slipped but she was quick to recover before standing and looked up to see a large staircase that went on into the darkness.
Koga stared ahead, fear shining in her russet orbs as she slowly stepped forward before taking another and another and another. She took a breath and picked her pace up into a run. The heels of the cloth clicked against the stone floor as Koga ran, it wasn't long until she reached a dead end. She tightened her fists as she noticed that it wasn't a dead end but rather a closed door.
She growled and placed her hand on the door. "Let me through! I'm going to save my mother." She pulled her fist back; it lit up and she threw her fist at the door.
Her Light Cosmo started to eat away at it before Koga let out a yell and raised her Cosmos further, making the light expand and explode. She lowered her fist when the light died away, only to gasp, her eyes widening when she saw another staircase. An even longer one.
Koga noticed water running down the steps before she looked ahead. Her eyes widened as she saw a figure at the end. Her mother.
Mum...
She growled and tsk-ed before quickly taking off into a run.

Athena panted as she was hung by her arms over nothing.
"Athena... you are the last of the gods who stole the world I created." Abzu suddenly appeared in front of her, their wings open. "Return the universe to me."
Athena swallowed before speaking. "I... I will not give up." She opened her eyes glaring up at Abzu. "I still have hope. There is still one last hope."
Abzu chuckled under their breath as they stared at Athena, a smile of amusement on their face, they turned their head to the side as the sound of feet came closer from the darkness.
The figure of Koga came into view, Athena gasped her eyes widening with worry as she spotted Koga. Without looking back to her, Abzu spoke. "I shall crush that last hope of yours."
They suddenly disappeared.
Athena was quick to shout in warning. "Koga!"
Koga came to a halt as a blue light shot at her, she let out a shout in surprise but was quick to dodge, and send her own attack back but had no effect on Abzu.
"The light cannot shine within the darkness."
Abzu attacked again, Koga was lifted into the air as she screamed in pain. She was sent back, landing on her back, breaking the stairs.
"Koga!" Athena cried.
Abzu reappeared in front of Athena and spoke. "Now, disappear within my darkness, Athena." Abzu raised their arm and sent a burst of Dark Cosmo at Athena, who held back a scream.
"Stop!" Koga yelled as she struggled to stand. Abzu surprisingly did so, lowering their hand. "You still need to fight me..." Koga gripped a rock as she pulled herself up, her Cosmo lighting up. She glared up at Abzu and she placed her other arm on the now level stairs and pulled herself up.
"Mum, I couldn't protect my friends." Koga's head lowered, her bangs covering the tears in her eyes. "I hurt them... However." she stepped forwards leaning on that leg slightly for support. "Now they trust me and believe in me. To save Athena, to protect the light. Mum, I..."
Koga's head shot upwards as she finished her sentence. "I will bring you back safely!"
Abzu sent an attack towards her but Koga's hand shot up, blocking the attack with her hand and attacked back. Before Koga could hit them, Abzu teleported, however a piece of Abzu's cheek chipped away making their eyes widened. Koga landed on the floor, turning as fast as she could as Abzu spun their arm outwards towards the young girl, grabbing her by the wrist. Squishing Koga's wrist, lifting her feet from the solid ground.
"You are a fool to disobey a God, Little One." Suddenly two rings formed and Dark Cosmo exploded from them, eating away at the Sagittarius Cloth's arm. Koga screamed in pain, toes curling inside her shoes.
The chest piece exploded leaving only the bottom part and the leg armour. Koga's red and white shirt dissolved and became a one strap top, part of her bra now showing as well.
Abzu dropped Koga and she grabbed her arm as she continued to scream, stumbling backwards, falling to one knee. Her arm was surrounded by a dark pink mist that clung to her skin and tingled. Abzu swung their arm out and hit Koga, sending her rolling down the stairs and off the edge.
At the last second Koga managed to grab the edge of the stairs. She reached her still glowing pink arm up grabbing the edge, giving a sound of disapproval and discomfort at the action. Koga looked down then back up.
"Abandon the light, child of darkness."Abzu coaxed, standing feet away from where Koga was hanging, their tone softened as they continued. "Kneel before me... and I shall take your pain from you."
Koga shifting pulling herself up slightly. "This pain is nothing..." Her arm slipped and her right arm dangled as she continued: "As compared to the pain of hurting my friends!" She clenched her fist and waves of the pink dark Cosmos wisped off it.
"When I was hurting them, I felt it... the pain of hurting them lingers within my fists!" She gasped as she slipped so she was barely hanging on the edge again.
"Do you hate me?" Abzu asked curiously, tilting their head as they looked down at the young girl.
"Yes, I do. But... I'm not afraid of your darkness anymore." The pink Cosmo collected around her clenched fist. "I will... live with this pain... within a world of light!"
"Little One... "
Suddenly the pink Cosmo gave off a strong pulse and Koga screamed; struggling to maintain her grip.
"Abzu..." The stone under her fingers began to chip away slowly. "I... I will defeat you!" She glared strongly up at the God. She strongly focused on transforming the Dark Cosmos on her arm into Light and she released a grunt as she did so, shining brightly much like that of a star.

Souma, Ryuho, Haruto, Seiya and Yuna all looked up at the bright flash of Light Cosmo.
"Koga..."
"Koga-chan..."
Souma glared up. "Everyone, burn you Cosmo..." Souma managed to stand to his feet and he clenched his fists, raising his Cosmo. "We'll send our Cosmo to Koga!"
Yuna was next to stand, raising her Cosmo. "Koga..."
Then Haruto. "Koga..."
Then Eden. "Pegasus!"
Then Ryuho. "Koga-chan!"
Seiya silently lit up his Cosmo alongside the young Bronzes. As they burned, the corrupted spots began to grow, but no matter what, they continued. Suddenly their Cosmos shot upwards, heading for Koga.

Koga managed to pull herself back up, her legs hanging off the edge. Her fingers twitched. She let out a breath as she felt the Cosmo of her friends reaching for her. Lightening, Air, Water, Fire, Earth, and Light from her father.
Small orbs floated beside Koga, lighting the area around her up. "Soma, Yuna, Ryuho, Haruto, Eden...Dad." She smiled slightly closing her eyes before sharply opening them. "Everyone, I accept your Cosmos!"
Koga stood, swaying slightly in doing so. "Burn, Fly... Rise! Howl! Roar!" The young Saint then raised her own Cosmo,. "And... let our Cosmo shine!
She brought her right arm forwards before throwing it out straight to the side and the Cosmo mixed together on her arm creating a golden light
"Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken!"
Koga's attack hit Abzu's shield and her feet were slipping backwards by the sheer force before breaking the stone, locking her in place. She grunted, channelling more Cosmo.
Suddenly the attack shattered Abzu's shield and Koga took the chance and jumped, attacking Abzu directly by hitting their stomach.
The rope that held Athena disappeared, letting her fall as stones began to break apart. Koga shot down towards her mother, catching her bridal style.
"Koga..." Athena whispered and Koga smiled, nodding her head. Koga jumped onto a piece of fallen stone and used it to launch herself and Athena upwards.
Abzu appeared again meters down, gritting their teeth as they stared up at the two and suddenly everything began to shake.

Everyone stared up to the darkness as a strong wind started again, Ryuho was first to comment. "The darkness is collapsing!"
"Koga..." Eden's brows scrunched up, be careful.

Koga landed and launched herself off once more before quickly leaping to another flat surface as she felt Abzu get closer. She set her mother down and went to attack as Abzu took the chance to attack their self.
Koga jumped back, ready to attack again, however, Abzu grabbed her arm before smacking her with the wall and she fell to the ground.
Abzu then turned to the Goddess. "Athena, do not run. Your body belongs to me now." Suddenly the patches of corruption on Athena's body flared up again and she let out a sound of pain. "Disappear within this body of mine, Athena."
Abzu opened their wings and darkness started to form around her at an alarming rate. Koga quickly grabbed her mother's hand before she could disappear within the darkness completely.
"Koga!" Athena cried as Abzu appeared behind Koga and grabbed her by the head.
"I shall deal with you first."
"You think you can destroy me?" Koga asked, gritting her teeth. "I, who possess your darkness?"
"What?" Abzu tilted their head curiously.
Koga didn't reply but rather lit up her Cosmo causing the darkness to retreat, revealing Athena who stared wide you up at her. Koga spun her arm, hitting Abzu and was released from their grip and landing in front of her mother.
"Abzu, even if you are the God that created the world... the world belongs to those who live in it. Even if your darkness covers everything, we will open a way to the future... with the light of our Goddess!" Koga's Cosmo exploded in a golden light.
A rip in the wall appeared like a claw mark. Abzu teleported away from them, hissing as the Light Cosmo burned their body; they glared down at the two. A wide and excited grin appeared on Abzu's lips.

The ground below the Saints began to break and the remaining piece of Aria's staff shot upwards as the darkness started to get out of control.

Koga, carrying Athena again, leapt up into the air. "Everyone, safeguard Athena!" Her voice echoed down to the Saints on Mars.
"Koga?" Yuna called.
Koga set her mother down stepped back. "Mum, go on ahead."
Athena whirled towards her daughter in concern. "Koga!"
Koga smiled at her mother. "It's okay." Koga placed her hands on her mother's arms. "Everyone is waiting."
She pushed her out the rip as Athena called out again in warning. "Koga!"
Koga suddenly turned and attacked Abzu with a head-on collision. Bright light exploded. Abzu swung their arm at Koga and Koga was quick to duck under it but Abzu kicked Koga in the side sending her crash into a wall where she gave a grunt at impact.
But Abzu wasn't done, they punched Koga, slid her against the wall and slammed her into the ground.
"Why do you choose the light?" Abzu growled. "Why do you refuse the darkness?"
Koga struggled to sit up as she answered. "I don't refuse it!" She managed to get to her knees she looked to Abzu with a frown. "We live in the darkness. That's why we make our own light..." She finally stood. "It's... proof that we're alive!" Her golden arm shone brightly.
"Little one!" Abzu screeched and attacked Koga once more, but something blocked them. Inches away from Koga's chest appeared the top of Aria's staff, it had stopped Abzu's hand from hitting Koga's chest—which would have been a fatal blow to her.
The staff's tip began to crack and as it broke, a bright white light exploded, searching out to cover every single little crevasse. Koga glared at Abzu, Aria's light feeding Koga strength.
"Begone, Abzu!"Koga screamed and punched the God continuously until her final punch destroyed their body.
Koga panted before falling to her knees; her eyes fluttered before closing. She felt herself losing consciousness and she welcomed it as the bright light finally covered everything.

A white light shone from the centre of the darkness for a few seconds before vanishing abruptly but then exploded outwards, removing every last part of the Dark Cosmo.
Athena fell from the light and Seiya was quick to catch her. "Seiya..."
He nodded and they both looked up at the light as did everyone else.
It then disappeared, Yuna's eyes widened at the sight, Koga.
"Abzu's darkness has disappeared." Athena spoke, her tone tight.
Yuna turned to her sharply. "What about Koga?"
Athena simply looked down.
"No..." Yuna whispered, the other Saints shared looks of disbelief.
The ground started to shake, and Seiya spoke. "Staying on this plant is dangerous!"
"But Koga..." Yuna started, but she met Seiya's eyes.

Koga was floating, it was warm and peaceful. It reminded her of when she'd wake up in the morning at home, snuggled into her covers, all nice and warm without a care in the world.
Her entire body ached but in a good way.
Only the lower chest piece remained of the Sagittarius cloth, her pants were ripped in different places and her top had only a thin piece of fabric holding it up, her bra was showing on the right side and Koga's entire lower right arm up to her elbow was burnt becoming a pinky, red colour.
Her eyes fluttered open when she felt a soft hand on her burnt arm, they widened when she saw who it was. Aria smiled down at her, her blue eyes swimming with tears.
Koga leaned forward, taking in the sight of her sister. "Aria."
"Thank you, Koga. For saving the world." Tears formed in Koga's eyes.
Aria raised her hand and brought it to Koga's ear, Koga blinked at a small but sharp pain, looking at Aria with a confused look and raised her hand to her ear, her eyes widened more when she felt Aria's earring.
"Aria..." Her lip quivered as she chocked on her tears and embraced Aria, burying her face into her neck as her tears fell from her eyes.
"Thank you, Koga... for being my friend—for being my sister."

Light Cosmo rained from the sky, healing the dark spots and the deceased to the state that it had been previously. Removing any memory of what had happened from those that were unaware of the world of the Gods and Goddesses
Yuna's head shot up when she heard something, she turned her head and gasped, her eyed widening. A smile formed on her face.
In the distance, there was a bright fading light and inside the light a figure was climbing to their feet. A figure with familiar red hair that she would know anywhere. Tears formed and her smile wide before calling: "KOGA!"
She took off in a sprint towards said girl and everyone else looked towards them as Koga was tightly hugged by Yuna. Koga let out a small laugh and hugged Yuna back, being careful not the put too much pressure on her burnt arm. Aria's ears shining in the light making the younger Saints smile. They were all quick to make their way towards the Pegasus Saint.
She was embraced by the younger Saints; minus Eden, who shuffled on his feet awkwardly.
Souma then smacked Koga round the head. "Jeez, you really are an idiot!" He exclaimed, making them laugh.
Koga shook her head smiling, Seiya then embraced the young Saint with a side hug. He was the first to spot her arm and was gentle to take hold of it.
Koga winced looking at it. Athena stepped forwards and placed her hands on her daughter's shoulder, tears in her eyes as she gentle brought her into a hug kissing her forehead. "Thank you, Koga. I'm glad you returned safe and sound."
