Hashirama was out with Mito for barbecue. She had wanted something more … elegant and befitting for the Hokage and his wife but ultimately gave in to Hashirama's incessant cravings.

"Barbecue is good – I'm sure you won't regret it!" He repeated for the fiftieth time.

"I get it," she replied, rolling her eyes.

He kissed her out of glee, right before they were about to walk in.

"Oh stop it!" She complained despite savouring it on the inside.

After an exhausting afternoon of shopping pregnancy products and baby toys with Toka, Mito was simply glad to have a night out alone with her husband.

Toka and Izuna still fought a lot, or so Mito heard. Scratch that: with Toka's hormone-induced emotional turmoil as a result of pregnancy, the two fought even more. And they enjoyed it, or at least according to Toka herself. Izuna may quite possibly have had differing opinions on the matter. Or not.

Mito sighed; the two were an… interesting couple.

Though not as interesting as Hashirama, she thought as she rolled her eyes affectionately at the salivating man as he merrily perused through the menu.

"I want loads and loads of sauce for this!" He declared.

"Okay Hashirama, I know how much you love that barbecue sauce," she chided him with mock-irritation.

"You're going to get fish again?" He asked.

"Yup. Though I might also try some of your steak – do you mind that?"

"Of course not!" He said as he beamed.

Then, out of the blue, Tobirama and Naori walked in with Kagami. The boy was in the middle and cheerily clung onto both of their arms.

Oh this is definitely not normal. Oh hell no. To hell with "platonic relationship."

"Hashirama," she nudged him, stripping away his attention from the menu. "Look, it's your brother and Naori."

"What?! TOBIRAMA!" He yelled all across the restaurant. "How good to see you!"

He got off from his chair and ran straight towards the couple.

Mito facepalmed. Of course that would be the consequence of informing a hyperactive man-child about his brother and his date.

Tobirama shirked away from his brother's embrace: "We're in the public! Try to restrain yourself!"

"Oh don't be so sour!" Hashirama berated him. "What's wrong me saying hi to my beloved brother and his beautiful date?"

"Hashirama…" Miniature storm clouds were brewing over Tobirama's head.

"And Kagami – hey kid! How have you been?" Hashirama added in a typical tone-deaf manner.

"I'm great! Aunt Naori and Tobi are taking me out to play today!" He squeaked happily, jumping up and down.

"Come join Mito and me!" Hashirama beckoned towards his table.

"We…" Naori was hesitant to reject his offer.

Instead, Tobirama replied brusquely: "No. We're getting a three-person table over there." He pointed to a table situated in a remote corner of the restaurant. "Far, far away from you."

Hashirama's shoulders slumped in depression.

Mito decided it was time for her to intervene.

"Come one Hashi," she lectured him. "Let's leave your brother with his date tonight – they probably want to do a lot of fun things alone."

She winked at him.

"Hey!" Tobirama and Naori protested indignantly.

"Platonic relationship my ass," she said as she smirked and walked back to her table with her husband.
