~ Looking Younger ~
Adelardo's POV:
I walked down the halls of my father's castle, apparently he needed to talk to be me about something. What? I don't know, but I hope it doesn't take long I'm suppose to meet Abercio and Ancient at the place. I faced my father's door and knocked loudly. "Come in." I stepped in and found my father staring out the window, not that there's much to stare at besides the black sea. If you fall in there you can never get out. "You wanted a word father?" my father turned around and smiled. He resembled all three of us in a way. He had blonde shinny hair, red eyes, and his face is structured like Ancient's so imagine Ancient with blonde hair pretty much. He's more like Abercio though, he's very... Concentrated.
"Yes my son have a seat." I walked over to his desk and took a seat while he sat in his big lounge chair. "I wanted to talk to you about becoming a father Adelardo." I rolled my eyes, ugh not this again.
"Father, I do not wish to be in that thing's life. I'm hoping the girl chooses her life over it's."
My father laughed at my comment and stared at me for awhile. "You remind me of myself when I was a young devil... You all do. Just in all separate parts. But lets not talk about my young days. I want you to keep both the mother and the child alive.
I looked away from my father and pinched the bridge of my nose. "What? No. No! I will not have that thing be born! Father, I have a reputation here in hell and if the word got out that I Adelardo, demon of death had gotten a half mortal pregnant and she had my child, it will be tarnished."
"I understand your not ready for a child Adel, in fact I would have thought on of your older brothers would have been first but you are to take responsibility for your actions." I merely laughed at my father, who was he to tell me this. "Since when do you care father?"
"And I thought Abercio was the blind one. Adelardo, my son. This child, your child has evil within it. Your blood will course through its veins." I took a breath and stared at my father intensively. After what seemed like decades I spoke up. "Very well then, but I will never refer it as my spawn. I will let the child live with that mother of it, until its reached the age of transformation. That THING shall never know that I am its father, EVER."
My father placed his fingers together and nodded while grinning widely. "Spoken like the son I raised. But I wonder, do you still desire the mother, last I heard you were watching her bathe." I narrowed my eyes before smirking. "Desire is not the word, yes I watched her but not in the way you think father. From what I can remember we had already fucked to much for my liking, she was fortunate that Boomer was in control or she wouldn't have survived one night with an actual demon." my father laughed causing me to laugh with him, though I couldn't help but feel uneasy about the situation in hand.
I'm going to be a father.
Bubbles's POV:
I woke up with the sudden feeling of nausea and quickly ran to the bathroom. After I finished emptying out last night's dinner I brushed my teeth and splashed water on my face. As I looked into the mirror I couldn't help but feel worn out. My complexion looked horrible as if the baby was just sucking the life out of me. I walked out of the bathroom and gathered some cloths for the day. I picked out a large baby blue sweater that hung off my shoulder, white shorts, and black combat boots. I felt weird not having to wear a bra but being pregnant tends to make your breast extra sensitive and a bra would just be a pain. I quickly brushed my hair leaving it naturally wavey before walking out.
I wonder the halls for a moment and stopped in front of the door I hadn't entered since the talk with Adelardo. I pushed the door open slightly before opening it all the way. I stepped in slowly and closed the door behind me. I stared at the crib in front of me before walking over to it. Chief had decorated a nursery for when the baby came, it was plain white with and very spacious. I felt over the brown teddy bear that laid inside the crib and brought it close to my chest. I wish I could be selfish and pick my life over the baby's but I made the mistake of giving one up already I'm not doing it again. I haven't yet told my sister about my decision and I don't plan its best they don't know, I can't have them interfering,
I winced as I suddenly felt the baby kick pretty hard. I placed a hand under my stomach and took a seat in the rocking chair by the crib. The baby kicked again only harder then before. I cried and started rubbing my stomach, hopping it will calm the baby down but the baby seem pretty worked up. "What's wrong? What's the matter?!" I yelled at my stomach.
*gasp*
My eyes widened in shock as I felt water spill through my shorts. I placed a hand on my thigh and felt it moist. My water just broke.
Blossom's POV:
My shoes kept creaking against the wooden floor of our family's old house. I looked behind me to see Buttercup eyeing the halls in complete alert. It took us awhile to track the house down under all the new construction from the capital but we managed. What really was a bitch was blending in with the society. It turns out the house was little to far off base and the only way to get to it was up ground. Luckily we are vampires so not much people noticed us but that also meant we had to go alone since nobody else in the rebellion is a vampire. "Go check out your old room ill check out mine meet up back here in 10." Buttercup nodded and quickly ran down the hall to her room. Our old house is pretty darn big. There are many many passages. I quietly made my way down the third hall and stopped once I reached the end of it. A large rust door stood before me, my old room. I opened the door and saw all my belongings still in place though most of my furniture were covered by dusty sheets. I looked around the room taking in everything. We hadn't lived here for long, only about half of our childhood were spent behind these walls.
'Okay if I was mini me, were would I put a very important necklace?'
I looked through all my drawers but found nothing, then I decided to look under the bed but only came across a bunch of dolls and cobwebs. I growled in frustration and looked over at the jewelry box that stood on my counter top. I picked through the box but still found nothing, all there was were some old jewelry my mother would give me to play dress up with. Just as I was about to check the closet when I heard foot steps from downstairs. I stopped in my tracks, voices could be heard and I froze.
Crap!
I tip toed over the door frame and spotted Buttercup pressing her back against her old bedroom door. Since she was facing me she was able to spot me, I motioned for her to move into the next room but before she could take a step out the door the voices grew closer.
My heart jumped as I tried to find some where to hide. I groaned seeing the only place I could stay hidden was above so I climbed up to the high ceiling. I held onto the wooden blanks and held my breath as somebody walked into the room. I couldn't make out the person since they had a large hood placed over their head, but i can tell its a guy since they had a very large frame. The hooded figure slowly walked over to the bedside and laid down. I panicked as I feared of being discovered. I carefully moved over to the side, making sure I don't slip or cause any sound. My hand reached the door frame and I gently pulled myself through the door.
As soon as I was far away from the door I crawled down from the wall. I walked down the hall to where Buttercup was and peeked into the room. Inside the room was another man, but I saw he had dark raven hair. Wait? Ancient? His back was turned to me so he didn't see me. I looked around the room and noticed Buttercup under the bed holding her hand over her mouth. Damn I need Ancient to step out of the room. I need to draw some attention.
Buttercup's POV:
I looked through some of my old toy chests, then though my drawers. There has to be something in here that links us to box from the church. Maybe mum and dad have something in their room. I got up to leave the room when suddenly I heard movement downstairs. 'Someone's in the house.' I quickly slimmed myself on the door and peeked out into the hall way. Whoever was here was still downstairs, their voices sounded deep so they must be male. I look forward and saw Blossom at the door frame of her bedroom. She began pointing at the room next to mine, at first I was confused but then I realized she wanted me to move into that room. Just as I attempted to step out into the hall the voices began to come on closer. Blossom and I both panicked and went to look for a place to hide. I quickly slip under the bed and held my hand over my mouth.
It wasn't long until a pair of large heavy boots stomped into the room. I sunk in deeper into the bed as the intruder stepped closer. For a moment I thought he was going to check under the bed, but he simply walked over to the side of the room and began rustling through some things. I could feel my lungs getting tired, I knew eventually I would have to let me breath go but due to the amount of time I've held it in I knew it would come out hard and I can't risk that. *Crash!* My ears perked up as the sound of glass smashing echoed from downstairs. The heavy pair of boots ran out of the room, giving me a chance to escape. I crawled out from under and hid behind the door as another intruder ran past the room and down the hall. They were probably in Blossom's room. Once the coast was clear I sped swifty down the hall into the back stair case. I took my steps carefully, hoping the wood wouldn't creak under my weight. I reached the bottom of the stairs and was instantly pulled to the side. I was relieved when I saw it was just Blossom. "We can get out through the kitchen basement. Come on."
Blossom's POV:
I led Buttercup to the double doors of the house and quietly pulled them open. I moved my head to the side, motioning her to go in first. Buttercup looked at me unsure before nodding. She stepped through, but just as I was about to follow her in the hooded figure appeared at the end of the hall. I felt my stomach drop as the figure slowly removed the hood from his head. Just as I thought. Abercio hadn't seen me since he was busy talking to Ancient. For some reason, he looked... Younger then before. I mean if that's even possible. He looked around 16! So did Ancient. Abercio wore a black pull over hoodie, black jeans, and combat boots. While Ancient wore a black muscle shirt, black sweats, and combat boots as well. I quickly ran into the kitchen and pulled Buttercup through the door that led to the basement and told her get out through the basement doors. Once I knew she was out of the house I hid in the walk in pantry.
I understand staying is complete idiotic, but we didn't come here for nothing dammit. I opened the door a slight crack and stepped back when the doors opened. Abercio and Ancient stepped in and looked around. This time I was able to get a better look at Abercio and Ancient and i was right. They did look younger. They looked like normal teenagers, but how?
"Check the basement." I heard Abercio order. Ancient nodded and ran down to the basement. Hopefully Buttercup already left. I eyed Abercio through the crack and watched as he walked around the kitchen and stopped in front of the knife drawer. I felt a large lump in my throat but didn't dare to swallow. I watched as he pulled the drawer open and reached for a knife, my attention wasn't on the knife though but on his wrist. On his wrist was the heart necklace, he had it wrapped around. I screamed when all the sudden the knife flew through the small crack and into the pantry, myself barely missing it. Abercio stomped over to where I hid and pulled my out. He slammed me against the wall, my back breaking through it, before being thrown onto the island. I kicked Abercio back as he approached me and fell off the counter top. I ran for the door only to be pushed through them by Abercio himself, I collapsed to the floor causing me to hit my face in pretty hard. I felt Abercio's weight on my back. I flipped him off me with intense force causing him to fly into an old portrait that hung on the wall before he smashed onto a small wooden table that was placed below the portrait. I smirked as he held his head and winced. My smirk vanished instantly as he looked up and met eyes with me.
"Brick?"
He stayed quiet and just stared at me before rising the side of his lips upward in a cocky smirk.
