Ok, the reason I wasn't able to update last week was because I was visiting relatives, they don't have Wi-Fi. Anyways I have decided to update weekly, this allows me to put more into each chapter, and it also gives me more time to work on it.

NOTICE! I will be posting several one shots, some have room for more chapters, others were just for fun, I will post one every now and then, and when Born to Rule is finished I will set up a poll, so you guys can vote on which story you want me to focus on first. That is all, let's get to it shall we?

Disclaimer: You know I don't own any of this besides my OCs.

Team Senso sped through the trees, intent on getting to the tower as fast as possible. Moments ago Naruto had developed a….feeling that something was not right, not right at all. It didn't help that the smell of snakes was thick in the air. Every now and then Fu would send him worried looks, and Haku kept her eyes ahead. Out of nowhere Naruto spoke. "We are not alone." Several needles of ice appeared in the death knight's hand. "How many?" she asked quietly.

Naruto frowned, "One. I don't like this, be on guard." His companions nodded silently. The air stayed tense as they continued on their way. Without so much as a twitch on his face, Naruto grabbed on to Fu tightly, she yelped in surprise as Naruto's arms wrapped around her, not a moment later a large gust of wind came out of nowhere.

Naruto and Fu stayed rooted to the tree, Haku on the other hand was launched deep into the forest. As the wind stopped Naruto and Fu looked up to see a pale man, with long black hair, and snake like eyes, standing a good ten feet away, a small malicious smirk was plastered on his face. Naruto sensed that he was powerful, and from what he could tell, this man was suppressing his own power.

"This is bad." Naruto glanced at the mint haired girl in his arms. "Get to the tower, Haku and I will be right behind you." He whispered into the girl's ear. She could see right through his lie, her eyes misted as she pulled the white haired boy into a passionate kiss, to the untrained eye Naruto didn't react, but if you looked closely you could see a small, almost invisible blush dusting his cheeks. "Don't die." She whispered firmly. As she dashed away into the trees, Naruto looked back to their assailant.

"Do you have a reason for attacking us Hebi-teme?" Naruto asked casually as he unsheathed his black blade. The man kept on his smirk, "Why of course I do Naruto-kun, I'm not some mindless animal, and my reason is far beyond your grasp." Naruto gave a small frown as he slid off his cloak, revealing his black leather/chainmail armor. "Is this the part where you monologue, revealing your big plan to me, only to kill me, so I can do nothing about it?" He asked snidely.

"No, I think I will just kill you, so you can die curious!" The snake charged Naruto and they started trading blows. Small, almost unnoticeable beads of sweat, started to dampen Naruto's forehead. "He has to be as strong as a Kage. I won't be able to keep this up, my training isn't even half finished." The white haired lord thought calmly as he dodged several snakes that were launched by his opponent.

As they fought Orochimaru kept his damnable smirk on his face. A large snake launched itself from the Sannin's sleeve, intent on strangling Naruto. The boy leaned back wards narrowly avoiding the reptile, before slicing it in half and jumping away. The black haired nin looked on curiously, allowing his young enemy the next move.

Naruto smirked, "Big mistake, Sannin." Orochimaru's smirk seemed to grow a bit. "So you know who I am?" Naruto shrugged, wasn't that hard to figure out. The boy's hands were enveloped with black energy; it swirled around him, before slamming his fists into the tree branch he was on. The yellow eyed sage looked on cautiously, "A summons? This is…different."

The shadows around the hebi seemed to move, and whispers could be heard all around them. Naruto chuckled darkly, "Say hello to the eight." Several cloaked figures rose from the shadows, surrounding the Sannin, drawing gray swords, they took their stance, pointing the tips of their blades at Orochimaru, in complete unison.

"This could be a problem." He thought with little worry. Naruto gave a large grin as he took up a similar stance, "Sic'em" The wraiths gave shrill cries before charging their pray. Now Orochimaru was on the defensive, fighting Naruto alone was one thing, but fighting nine opponents who were jounin level at least was no easy task. The snake like man dodged and weaved around the blades, slashing them with Kusanagi any time an opening revealed itself, but to Orochimaru's frustration the poison on the blade did little to slow his cloaked assailants.

The snake sannin backed up as one of the Naz'gul attacked furiously, too involved in the fighting, he didn't notice as Naruto charged his right side. Pushing the Naz'gul away, he didn't have time to block the next attack. With a quick slash, Orochimaru's arm flew from his body, severed at the shoulder. The sannin screamed in pain, as he stumbled backwards. This gave time for Naruto and the wraiths to subdue him.

Naruto raised his blade, ready to deliver the killing blow. "Any last words Hebi-teme?" Orochimaru grinned up at the white haired boy, he gave a strangled chuckle. "Foolish child, it is you who will die, and I will take over the land of Whirlpools." Naruto raised an eyebrow, when the sannin started to melt. "A blood clone? When did he-?" he was cut off by the sound of hissing, coming from the melting corpse in front of him.

Naruto's eyes widened, before he snarled. "DAMN!" The forest lit up with a huge explosion, large enough to destroy all the tree's in the surrounding area, a mushroom cloud rose into the sky. Everyone in the forest looked at it in complete awe and fear. Fu who was running through the trees stopped dead in her tracks, a feeling of dread wiggled its way into her gut. "Oh no…"

She launched herself towards the explosion, praying that Naruto was ok. When she got there, she gasped in horror. Everything in five miles was destroyed, but what truly horrified her was the mangled body of her teammate, sitting up against a rock, blood was everywhere. She rushed to his side, and almost gagged at what she saw.

He was severely burned, all of his hair was gone, he was missing an eye, both his legs were gone, his left arm was shredded, deep gashes were all over his body, and there was a large hole were his stomach used to be. Fu grabbed his mangled hand, tears fell from her eyes. "N-Naruto? NARUTO!" despite the gore before her she gathered the boy into a gentle hug, sobbing as she did so. A moment later a shredded hand landed on her head.

Fu gasped before looking up, to see one demonic eye, looking straight at her. "Naruto! Don't worry, were going to get you help!" She started to move him but he only grunted in disapproval. He mumbled something, not catching it the green haired girl leaned in closer, his shallow breaths barley registered on her skin. As he repeated what he had said the light faded from his eyes, and they glazed over.

Fu brought a hand to her mouth in a vain attempt to stifle her cries of pure emotional anguish. She hugged the boy tighter, begging him to come back to her. His final words echoed in her mind over and over again.

"L-love…y-y-you…."

At that very moment, a feeling of sadness draped over every occupant in Whirlpool.

Naruto opened his eyes to see complete darkness, unable to move, unable to breathe, unable to exist. "I had so much planned for the future, all of my dreams…gone. I'm dead and my soul is damned to hell.

A dark chuckle filled the void around him. "Not quite boy!"

And here we go, what do you think? I promise the next chapter will be way longer, I have a little surprise for the next chapter. But it will take time to write so bear with me. Is Naruto perma dead? What is this new entity that has contacted him? What happened to Haku? FIND OUT NEXT TIME!
