Bubbles and I approached Blossom wondering why the hell she brought the 'I think girlfriend' of the one person she loathes the most. From the looks of it Berserk didn't leave without a fight. "Blossom what's going on?" Bubbles asked bouncing Archelaus higher on her hip. Blossom grinned and tossed Berserk down in front of us.
"Satan's mistress #1 here is going to lead the rebellion out of the city, I figured that there was only one way out of here and with her being so well acquainted with Jr, only she would know how to get everyone out."
I smiled pridefully at my eldest sister.
"But wait?, where are her sisters?" Bubbles asked looking down at her and back at Blossom. The resemblance between them is impeccable, minus the different shade of eyes and hairstyles they are exactly alike. Also except you know my sister isn't a complete bitch.
"From what she told me they are still in castle, hiding."
My mind began to question. "Hiding from what?" I asked. Blossom sighed and ran hand through her hair. "I don't know she wouldn't tell me, but whatever it is must be big since I found this one hiding in the chimney."
I was about to comment, but was cut off by Berserk laughing hysterically. Her hair was covering one side of her face and she had black ash smeared on her forehead with a busted lip. For a moment I wanted to aid her by the way she looked liked Blossom.
Berserk stopped laughing and coughed before looking up at Bubbles and myself, "Abercio is bound to notice I am gone and when he does I promise you, it won't be good."
I growled at she gave me a teasing smirk, she was messing with us. Frustrated I shoved her down with my foot. "How do you know about Abercio's transformation from Brick?" I questioned. This whole time we believed the boys had them blinded from the truth but surely were mistaken.
Berserk laughed and coughed, "do you honestly think he wouldn't tell me? it was only a matter of time before he pulled me into his office and explained everything to me. Everything, even about his and Blossom's little puppy crush on him."
I looked up at Blossom, she seemed angry and disturbed, but I understand. Abercio had told Berserk the truth about their past before Blossom even knew herself.
"Let her go." I gave Blossom an are you serious face which she replied with a nod. I groaned and removed my foot. Blossom leaned down to face Berserk who smirked right up at her. "When the time comes you'll lead everyone here out of the city, is that understood?" Blossom demanded. Berserk scoffed and laughed dryly before saying,
"Crystal."
"Young master, we're sorry to inform you that Miss Berserk was no found in the castle." I sat up on my throne and glared at the gaurds. After thinking things over I had sent a group of me to the castle back on Earth to bring Berserk back here and have her stay down here until the day we marry.
"What do you mean she's not there?!" I roared. I looked away from them as snickers were heard from beside me. I sat up straight as Adelardo walked in grinning. "Is it possible your women has left without you're notification brother?" I growled lowly at Adel before smirking. "Don't be absurd little brother, don't you have diapers to change?"
Adelardo instantly harden at the mention of the foolish mistake that he had created with the half mortal. I can tell he doesn't take that mistake so lightly. Well at least he's learned his lesson, never allowed his other half to get so sexually attached to someone he knows he can never love or provide for.
I chuckled and licked my dry lips, "don't get so serious brother, I only play, I understand you're troubled with the ideal of fatherhood, if that would have been me, believe me I would have been ashamed myself."
"If that were you, you wouldn't have hesitated to dispose of them both." Adelardo added smartly.
I paused to think of his words. Would I? Does my brother really see me as the type to bring death upon someone who would be carrying my child? "Am I really that cruel Adel?" I asked not meeting his eyes.
"Perhaps Abercio, knowing you, you wouldn't allow such things get in between what you believe is best for yourself, unless you truly desired them." my brother made a point, maybe he knew me more than I knew myself. "You've really caught onto me haven't you Adelardo?" my blue eyed brother smirked and walked closer to me until he stood right in front of me.
"You're the smartest man I know Abercio- I'll never truly admit this but I look up to you brother. Think wisely about what you plan on achieving, not just as future ruler but as yourself, do you wish to succeed in power and have everything you've wished for at the palm of your hand or do you wish to be happy, and give it up? Only you know the answer, Ancient and I already made our choice, now its time for you to make yours."
With that being all Adelardo excused himself and walked out into the dark halls, leaving me. After a few moments I realized the guards were still here and must have heard everything, "You're dismissed," The guards turned to leave but as they were about to exit I spoke,
E"You will not utter a word about what you have heard, if you do...their be consequences. "
"Is everyone out of the building?" I grabbed the clip board from chief and checked off that everyone had made it out, they all did except one. I growled and ran back inside to get her personally.
As I made my way back to the building, I managed to catch Buttercup and Bubbles coming out, "Hey where you going?'' Buttercup asked holding a bag. I groaned at the thought of Berserk, "Berserk, she didn't leave the building, I'm going in to find her." Bubbles and Buttercup rolled their eyes, they mus understand my frustration. "Make sure they all get to the boarder, I'll see you in a bit." with that said I ran back down to head quarters, all the alarms were going off by now, the halls ere deserted and most of the doors were already sealing which shouldn't be happening. I instantly figured it out. Berserk had to be in the main frame, she was sealing all the exits by why?
I quickly made my way down to the main frame, trying to avoid the sealing doors, I sighed in relief when I saw the doors to the security room- they were open. I didn't waste time tackling Berserk away from the computers. She groaned as her back hit the floor, I got my knees to pin her shoulders down and punched her in the jaw but she quickly reacted by rolling us over. I screamed as she dug her heels into my leg, as soon as I felt like passing out she got up and ran out the room. Once the pain subsided I got up and tried to see if I could stop the doors from shutting down. There's no way to stop it, she set them to autocratically to shut down. I checked to see which exit would be closing last-the west wing, she had to be heading there. I ran out of the, fortunate for me, I know this building better then her, I knew a short cut through here.
I took the endless stair case and grinned as I beat her to the doors. she had yet to arrived which meant she'd be here any monent. I swiftly took a spot on the side and hid away from view.
I began to panic as the automatic system began to countdown, if I want to get us broth out of here she better come out now. "5, 4" I got ready to attack as her foot steps turned audible, "3, 2" As soon as I saw her approach the metal doors I lunged at her causing us to both slide across the door. My eyes widened as I heard the solid doors coming together, sealing us away from the word.
I began to get worried, Blossom hasn't came back yet and there isn't much time. Buttercup and I sent the rest of the rebellion to continue out of the city, but without Berserk, who knows how long we can stay hidden. "Where is she?" Buttercup asked crossings her arms. We stood on top of the old Jojo empire skyscraper, since it was the highest building aside from the clock tower in city hall.
Time was running out and we can't go against the princes with just two, we need Blossom. "Maybe we should head back, she could be in trouble." I suggested. Buttercup remained silent and stared out into the city, "she'll be here, I know she will."
I sighed, dark grey clouds were beginning to appear beyond the horizon, the air was beginning to feel moist, but rain is the least of our problems.
"Buttercup I'm not so sure ab-" before I finish, the ground began to shake, from afar building had already began to tremble. I ran closer to the edge where I witnessed vampires attempt to get away from the enormous cracks that began to appear from below the floor. I gasped as suddenly the skyscraper we stood on cracked in half. Buttercup and I both attempted to stay on top but we found it difficult as we began to sink down with the giant chunks of concrete. Last thing I saw was the fire erupting from the ground below us.
