The other two could be considered counterparts by whoever raised each other in either session, but if we go by opposite genders, we could say that Dave and Roxy are counterparts and have that similarity of being generally interested in the opposite sex (meaning no specific person, just men/women), and Dirk and Rose are counterparts because they are both gay. I think it's almost like a double standard. Girls can have double letters or not, but when a guy has double letters it means he's gay or at least not like all the other guys.
