Okay everyone, I am back with another chapter for Cousland Story and it will take place at the Circle of Magi because the trio was looking for the aid of the mages. What will happened to them if they were going into the Fade. I am going to let you all start reading this chapter because I know that this is going to be great. I don't own none of the Dragon Age character because BioWare own them except for my OCs.

Enter the Fade Part 1

Leliana fell asleep on the ride towards Lake Calenhad because she was still thinking about Kenshin. She knew that he with the maker's side along with his family. Raven was looking at the road ahead of them and he saw that they were almost there to the Tower. Then suddenly, there was an magical arrow heading towards them which it landed at the ground in front of the horse. Terra jump back which it cause Raven and Leliana to fell. Leliana woke up for a moment and she looked around to find their attacker. There was a dark skin man with short black hair and he had a tattoo on the right side of his face and eyes was dark brown. He started shooting fire spells at them while Morrigan was trying to find out who was attack her comrades. She saw the man through her eagle vision and she flew down to attack.

She transformed into a lion and she started to attack him while Raven and Leliana started to get to their. Raven went to find Morrigan to help her while Leliana was trying her hardest to calm Terra down and she started to petting the horse. Raven started to follow the sound of magic and he was running through the wood. The man started to shoot lightning bolts at Morrigan but she dodge his attack and the man started to use his staff to hit Morrigan in the face. She shook the pain off for a moment which she scratched him across the chest. Raven arrived to help and he use his swords because Leliana wasn't around. He started to attack the man but the man blocked his attack with his staff. Then Morrigan waited for an opening for her to make her move. Once she saw it, she jumped on the man which she knocked his staff out of his hand. Raven combine his swords into one and sheathed them back into the sheathed.

"Who are you?" Raven said

"I am just a mage looking for someone that was taken away. He had betrayed my trust and left me at the tower to die."

"Raven?! Morrigan?! Where are you?" said Leliana

"Leliana?! We're over here." said Raven

Raven looked around and he saw that Leliana was ride on Terra and she was searching for him and Morrigan. The mage was trying to break free for Morrigan's hold but she add more weight on the man. Man started to feel pain on his chest while Raven was looking through his bag and he found some potions and lyrium. Man looked up to see that Leliana was riding towards them with Terra. She looked down to see that the mage was being hold down by Morrigan.

"What happened here?" said Leliana

"It has seen that our attacker was looking for someone." said Raven

"My name is Leon, Leon Amell. I was once a servant of the Circle of Magi." said Leon

"Then what are you doing all the way out here?" Leliana said

"I was looking for a blood mage that frame me for a crime that he committed. He made me break his blood vile that the Templars track down blood mages." said LeonM

Morrigan transformed back into herself which Leon started blush at the sight of Morrigan's beautiful. She had an knife pointed at his throat while she was still on top of him. Raven was done searching through Lean's belongings and he didn't find anything that would help them. Leon just sigh with relief that Raven didn't find anything that might lead them to think that he was a blood mage himself. Then Morrigan got off of him and she place the knife because to his holster.

"Tell us, what is a mage doing all the way out here." said Raven

"Like I said, I am looking for a blood that frame me that goes by the name Jowan." said Leon

"We met Jowan at Redcliff." said Leliana

"Redcliff? Why would he travel all the way there?" said Leon

"He told us that Lady Isolde hired him to be a tutor of a young mage named Conner but he was really an assassin." said Raven

"What did you expect from a blood mage. They are the art of deception. Once you let them, they will kill anything." said Leon

Leliana started to clean the wounds on Leon's body in front of the fire. Raven was pacing back and forth because he was thinking about something. Leon started to use his healing magic to close the wounds up while Morrigan was staring at him because she didn't trust him. Leon stood up for a moment and he looked at Raven which he could tell that Raven was a spirit.

"What is your story?" said Leon

"It is none of your concern, mage." said Raven

"I see. Then if you three are heading towards the circle of magi, I suggest that you take the path to the east and I want to come along to help you." said Leon

"I see, but how do we know that you will tried to attack us again." said Raven

"I will give up my belongings to earn your trust." said Leon, he gave Raven all his stuff even his staff. "But I know the way to Lake Calenhad."

Leon started to use his magic to summon up two magical horses for Leliana and Morrigan. The horses had ancient writing on them and both Morrigan and Leliana started to get on the horses. Raven started to bind Leon's hands to make sure that he wouldn't use his magic again. Then they all started to ride off while Terra started to drag Leon and it took them three hours to get to Lake Calenhad. Raven place Terra in the stables near the lake where she could rest and get some water. Raven started to looked at the tower in the middle of the lake while Leon was deep in thoughts about the tower and Leliana looked at him for a moment.

"Is something wrong, Leon." said Leliana

"I was taken from my mother when I was just a child. Being in the circle was like being in prison of my magic." said Leon

"Why would you say that?" said Leliana

"It was many years ago but it is something that I'll never forget." said Leon

===Several years before the Circle of Magi===

A young Leon was running in the flower field with his cousin and they were playing soldiers. While his mother, Revka was enjoying tea with Leandra Amell inside of the house and she had the window open to keep a good eye on them. His cousin was a young girl that act like a tomboy and she love to be a soldier and she had long raven hair and she had blue sapphire eyes which her name is Angel Hake Amell. Leon was smiling because he enjoy being with his cousin and he saw something or someone walking through the field. It was hooded woman and she was looking at the both of them.

"What do you think she is doing, Angel." said Leon

"I don't know, Leon." said Angel

They both started to watch close and they both noticed that she had dropped something. Leon ran towards it and he looked at the object to see that it was a green gemstone. He started to picked it up while his mother was looking for him and Angel. She started to get worried because she never expect them to be far from the house and she saw them in the middle of the field where the Templar do their routes to check for any mages. Leon was getting ready to touch it while Angel saw that it was reacting to Leon. Leon started to head spirit because the gemstone was calling out to him. Thee was a light which some of the Templar saw it in the fields while Revka started running towards the light to find her son and niece.

"Leon!" yelled Revka

Leon didn't hear his mother calling out to him and he touch the gemstone which the power started to pour into his body. There was glow in his eyes as his hands were on fire but the fire wasn't actually hurting him. Then the gemstone started to turn off for a moment which Leon picked it up and put it in his pocket. He looked over to see that his mother was here. He ran towards her and hugged while he had tears in his eyes. Revka just hold as tight as she could because she knew that she was going to lose him to the Circle. Leon pull the gemstone out of his pocket to show to her and she took a closer look at the gemstone which she knew that it was power by magic. The Templar had arrive to the house and they were surrounding the house and the Knight commander was walking towards Revka and Leon.

"Ma'am, do you know that this child is a mage?" Knight commander asked.

"No, he found a gemstone that gave him his gift. He isn't ready to join the Circle of Magi just yet." said Revka

"I am sorry, Ma'am. By order of the Chantry, we have the right to take this child to the Circle of Magi where he will be train with the other mages." said Knight Commander

"That's not fair. Leon didn't do anything wrong and now you taking him away from us." said Angel

"It is their, sweetheart." said Leandra

"But~"

"No buts, young lady. You can't have them go against the chantry." said Leandra

Then the Templar started to take Leon away to the Circle of Magi and he looked at his mother and cousins. He ran back to his mother to give her one last and final hug. Revka just stood there and watch the Templars ride with her son. She had tears in her eyes and Angel was holding Leandra's hand because she was sad that her cousin was going to be gone forever.

===Present===

"And that is how I came to the Circle of Magi." said Leon

"That is horrible for someone to bare like that. Did she send you letters on how she missed you." said Leliana

"No, I just felt hurt and abandon because she was so upset that I was taken away." said Leon

"Well, I think that I have the plan to get up inside of the Tower." said Raven

"What are you going to do~" said Leon

Suddenly, Raven punched Leon in the face which knocking him out cold and Leliana was looking at for a moment.

"What is the Maker's name are you doing?" Leliana asked

"I am going to turn this mage in and the guard have to lead up into the tower." said Raven

Morrigan just smile at the idea on sneak their way into the tower while Leliana just looked worried because she believed that some of Raven's method was over the line. Then Raven started walking up to the guard which he noticed that the guard was bore out of his mind. He saw them walking towards the dock to grabbed a boat but he stopped them in their tracks.

"Stop where you are."

"I am here for an reward for a mage that escape from the Circle." said Raven

The guards started to look at Leon which he was shocked to see that Leon was schedule for excursion for helping a blood mage.

"Where did you find this mage?"

"I have found him on my way here." said Raven

"Okay, I will let you pass only because that man deserve to be put to the sword for the crimes that he had committed."

Raven started to smile and they all started to get in the boat and Raven started rolling the boast towards the tower. When the guard had his back turned, Raven nodded his head to tell Morrigan to wake Leon up from his nap. Morrigan splashed water on Leon's face which she was able to wake him up. He looked around to see that he was on the boat heading towards the tower.

"Maker's breath, what happened?" said Leon

"Raven knocked you out just to get passed the guard." said Leliana

"You could've told me your plan before you do." said Leon

"You would said no to it." said Raven

Leon just looked at with pure disgust because of what he did to him. When they all arrived to shore of the tower, they all started walking towards the door. Leon started to tremble because he knew that this was going to be hard for him to return to the Circle. He took a deep breath for a moment and he was going to save his fellow mages from harm. They all started walking inside of the Circle and they all saw that every Templar were blocking the doors to the tower. Raven didn't like the idea of something like that. Leon started to look worry because he had friends that need some help and the Templar are keeping them in. Raven looked over to see that there was a Knight commander giving orders to his Templars and he knew that he was going to get some answers.

"What is going on here?" said Raven

"I am Knight Commander Greagoir and I am sorry but the tower in under siege by demons and blood mages." said Greogoir.

"Who is leading the attack on the circle?" said Raven

"A blood mage goes by the name Uldred and somehow that bastard had gotten his hands on some unknown artifact that will summon up demons." said Greagoir

"What kind of Artifact." said Leon

"Some kind of gemstone-wait, it's you! How did you escape your prison. What happened to the guards that was guarding your cell." said Greagoir

"They were killed by the blood mages and I have fought them off before they were going to try turn me into those abominations." said Leon.

"So, you turn your back on the circle and now you came back to rule it." said Greagoir.

He was getting ready to draw his sword to attack Leon, but Raven stopped him in his track which he had already drew his sword and he was pointing it at the Knight Commander's throat. Greagoir was looking at Raven for a moment because he knew that Raven would side with Leon because he wasn't going to waste a perfect talented person like Leon to death. He knew that Leon had skills to join the grey wardens.

"What are you doing?" said Greagoir

"I will not let you harm him because that is going against the Grey Wardens tradition. He is my recruit and is not to be harm." said Raven. "We are going in to find some survivors and bring them back here."

"I am going to allow this because I have to wait for give the word to purge the tower." said Greagoir. "As for the fallen mage, he will given a great chance to find his fellow mages but he will give his life for that."

"I will gladly give my life for them but know this if I survive this ordeal, I have the rights to hunt down Jowan and bring him to justice." said Leon

Greagoir just nodded his head and he started to stepped aside from them to let them passed. The guards started to open the door to let them in which they close it behind them. Leon started to feel unease about the idea of those doors being close behind them and he started to looked at Raven and the others. Leliana just smiled at him because they was going to need a mage that knows his way around the tower which Leon had been in so many places of the circle. Leon place his hand on the ground for a moment because he was going to sense some of the mages but he found that there was some of them in their room being attack by demons.

"okay, there are some demons in the girls room attack the girls." said Leon

Raven started kicking some doors down to see that Leon was right about that which they all started to ready their weapons but they were facing off with fire demons. Leon had an idea to help give them the advantage and he started to summon up some ice spell which he use them to enchant their weapons. Raven just looked at his sword for moment to see that it was able to be enchanted which he had smile on his face because he knew that this was going to be fun for him. He started charging at the fire beast and he was using some unknown skill that no one knew about because it was the skill that Kenshin's grandfather had taught him because it was use for weapons that had rune in them. When he strike the beast, the ice started to turn the fire demons in hard cold ice themselves. Leliana started to fire off her bow and arrows to lend a hand while both Morrigan and Leon use their spells to freeze the demon and the female mages started to look to see that they were saved by their fellow mage and his new friend.

"I am happy that you came to aid when we needed it the most, Leon."

"I didn't come here alone because of my new mentor and his comrades." said Leon

"Mentor? What do you mean that this man is your mentor?"

"He had recruited me to join the grey wardens to fight against the blight and the Darkspawns." said Leon

"You're always the one that never wanted to stay in one place, Leon."

"We have to go and see if there are any more survivors and tried to find them and save before Uldred turn everyone into Abominations." said Raven

Leon nodded his head and they all started to leave the room which they all started to head into the main room where they all encounter a master with some apprentices and children. She was an old woman but she was using the power of her staff to destroyed the fire demon. Once that was done, she turned around to see that Leon was with known people that she never met before.

"Ah, my young apprentice, I thought that Greagoir had called for your execution already."

"Forgive me, Master Wynn but I have come to lend my aid with the help of the Grey Wardens." said Leon

"I see, this is the grey warden that at the battle of Ostgar." said Wynne

"Yes, I am and I am here to seek aid of the circle of Magi but I have also recruited your former apprentice to be a Grey Warden." said Raven

"Well, he had always wanted to see the world with his own eyes, As for aid from the mages,. we have to take back the tower as soon as possible." said Wynn

"Then we better get started shall we." said Leliana

"I have put a barrier to keep the demons our while keep us in and I will coming along as well as your guide." said Wynne

"Are you sure, master." said Leon.

"Ha! I maybe old but I know a lot more spells than you, little one." said Wynne, she looked at his friends. "So, mine telling me who are these travelers."

"Oh, this is leliana, that is morrigan, and their leader Raven. Everyone, this is my teacher, Wynne." said Leon

Leon started to chuckle because he knew that his former master was stronger with magic and Raven just looked at her for a moment because he knew that he was going to need some help to battle the blight. They all started to bow to her for a moment but raven looked to other direction. Wynn noticed that something was off about Raven and so she started to use her magic to see the cause of the way that he was acting. She saw that he was being possessed by a spirit but she noticed that the spirit wasn't trying to take control over his body.

"I leave the young ones here with you." said Wynne

"I will looked after them with my own life. And Wynne...please be careful."

She needed her head and she grabbed her staff which she looked at her new friends and protectors. Leon was happy that he was going to be fighting alongside his master. Wynn started to take down the barrier that she had made to protect and the children of the circle. Then once Leon was the last person to leave the room, she threw up the barrier again and this time it is much powerful. They all started searching for any survivors that haven't betrayed the chantry which they made it to the library the source of all magic and spells. Raven noticed that there was some rift in the vile which it was leaking out demon. Leon started to feel the green gemstone presences and he started to look around the room to find it because he knew that the power his gemstone might close those rifts.

"You guys keep the demons busy while I find something to close those rifts." said Leon

Raven started to draw his sword while Leliana ready her bow and morrigan and Wynn was getting ready use their magic on the demons. Raven started to charge at the demons while Leliana provided him cover. Raven was using the Cousland fighting styles when comes to single handed sword play. Morrigan started to turn the shrieks into ice and Wynne use her fire magic to burn the demon warriors. Leon was looking high and low for the gemstone that he hidden away while the demon continue to pour out of the rift. Raven blocked the sword of the demon warriors and he looked over to see that Leon was still searching.

"How's it coming with the search." said Raven as he pushed the demon warrior back and he cut it down. "I am not trying to rush you or anything because of the demons are still coming."

"I am working on it." said Leon

Leliana saw a desire demon walking out of the rift which the demon had her sight on Raven because she could sense his desire. The demon started walking towards Raven while the others was trying to keep him busy. She was about to use her charms to control him but Leliana stopped her in her tracks. The desire saw the arrow in her chest and blood started pouring out of her. Leliana knew that she had just hit her target and she noticed that Leon was still searching which started to help him.

"What are you looking for?" said Leliana

"A gemstone. I could feel it in the area but I can't find it." said Leon

Leliana started to look for it and she saw that one of the demon has it and it was trying to corrupt it with demon magic. She tapped Leon on his shoulder to get his attention. He looked up at her which she pointed at the demon that had his gemstone. Leon started to use his magic to try and stop them before they destroy it with their magic. Morrigan noticed that gemstone was giving off incredible amount of magic on it and she noticed that it was the same gemstone that she saw as a child. She started to help Leon out with the demons by using her magic of lightning to shocked to them all. Then the demon started to dropped the gemstone and Leon started to grab it which he use the power of his gemstone to close the rifts to the vile. Raven looked around to see that the demons was forced back into the fade.

"That was fun." said Raven as he sheathed his sword. "Now, where to?"

"I think that we need the spell to stop Uldred from casting more abomination on more mages. My gemstone can only protect one from that magic." said Leon

"Then we need the Litany of Adralla to protect us from the magic." said Wynne. "It is in the library on the second level of the tower."

They all started to head towards the second floor of the tower and they knew that they need time on their side. Leon knew the power of his gemstone was powerful enough to protect him from any types of spell. When they all started to make it too the second floor, they all saw that there was a lot of demons in everyone room. Raven knew that they all needed to get to the library to get the Litany of Adralia. They all started to fight their way through the swarm of demons and when they all made it to the library, they all saw a mage laying down in a puddle of his own blood. Leon started to feel a familiar presence that he had encounter in his trial on becoming a mage of the circle. The room started spinning for a moment and Leon started to gripping on his gemstone to cancel out of any demon magic.

"Well, well, I never thought of meeting my old friend again."

"Sloth! What in Maker's name are you doing here?!" said Leon

"Be careful this demon is trick." said Leliana

"There is no need for a fight. Aren't you all are tired from all the fighting? Don't you all deserves some rest from all of this?" said Sloth.

Then the room started spinning around them all while Leon reach into his pocket to pull out his gemstone. They all were trying to fight the power of sloth demon but it was too strong for them to keep their eyes open. Leon manage to pull out his gemstone.

"Please sleep. The war will go on without you." said Sloth

They started to collapse to the ground because the power of the sloth had put them into a deep sleep. Sloth started to walk towards Leon because he could see the power that Leon was giving off. But the gemstone started throw up a barrier to protect him and he started to wake up. Then he started to grab his staff and he started to summon up a barrier to keep his comrades safe from Sloth which the demon started to walk backwards because of the barrier. Leon knew that the power of his barrier was going to be strong enough to keep the demon out and he knew the Sloth influence to corrupt the person dream.

There you have it folks the Circle of Magi battle and now that they are going to battle inside of the fade and I am going to have more soon but today is my birthday and I am going out drinking with my girlfriend and try to have something special afterwards if you know what I mean.
