Voice in the dark (part 2)

Mai stood there dumbfounded the salty liquid that poured down her cheek was all too familiar. The Naru from her dreams and the Naru she ,un-knowingly, fell in love with were both finally here.

Flashback

'I-it's just a dream Mai calm down' she told herself walking around the big dreamy mansion 'if it is a dream where's Naru?' she thought again 'Mai…' the soothing voice called to her 'N-Naru?' she called to him 'Listen Mai…you need to understand … I-I can't be there with you when you wake up…. You need to understand this … I'm not Naru' she couldn't move at all she just had to find a way to take all this in! how could he NOT be Naru? 'Mai… I can't be in the same world as the Naru you know… the dreams you have … have you noticed yet … you only communicate with me and you see the memories of the dead…' at this point she was crying 'Mai… don't cry for me … the problem is the Naru you know is still looking for me … a-and I don't know if I really am… well … dead' Mai was very confused dream Naru wasn't Naru but knew Naru and is now somewhat dead?

"I always thought you loved yourself a little too much Naru and now you've finally created a clone…and as Bou-san suspected you really are into men…" Naru sighed "OOOH CAN I CAN I CAN I" Gene jumped around giddily like a child on their way to Disney land "fine" Naru replied just as annoyed as if it were Mai asking, the Naru clone had walked up to Mai and held out his hand as if he wanted her to shake it and like a trainer asking their puppy she did as expected "It's nice to meet you in person Mai. My name is Eugene … I'm Noll's twin brother… as you can probably tell…" he said whilst bearing the biggest grin "AND HE'S GOT THE HUGEST CRU-" he was cut off by his younger twin "if you two wouldn't mind I don't have time for reunions right now we have a case to deal with, Mai would you call Miss Hara, Bou-san, John,Ayako,Lin and Yasuhara" she made a little salute as if to say YES SIR! She started walking out of the room and then "oh and Mai?" she spun around to face the young talented Oliver Davis "…tea…for two".
