Summary: this is a rewrite of Dino Thunder it starts just after the teens go home after finding the Gems.

Chapter 30
The day after the Rangers had fought Elsa and Zeltrax's evil Zords, all the Rangers were in the Command Cave thanking Justin, Billy and Hayley for managing to fix their Zords. Then they began talking about the last battle and what went right with it while what went wrong was left unsaid.
"So you're telling me the Turbo Zords might be our only hope against them?" asked Justin.
"Maybe, there is to much damage to the Zeo and Super Zeo Zords for them to be of any use it would take forever to fix them, but there are two Dino Thunder Zords that might be able to defeat them" replied Tommy.
"Well where are they?" asked Conner.
"That's the problem they were left on the island that Anton and I worked on before Mesogog attacked, I had safely hidden them so Mesogog could never find them. As I made my escape the two Swords of Power that were used like Saba was to assist in control and to activate the Zords were lost in the sea. Some where near the coast of the island I tried to save them and the Gems but was unsuccessful, I could only save the Gems"
"So who goes to get them?" asked Justin.
"Justin and Kira you shall go and attempt to recover the swords and activate the Zords but please be careful I don't know what Booby traps Mesogog may have left their"
"Right come on Kira lets go"
"Theirs more to discuss" said Billy.
"Like what?" asked Jason.
"Well how long do we wait until we bring the two new Turbo Rangers hear and tell them everything, how do we get Trent and Andrea back from following Mesogog's orders"
"Me and Jase already have a plan in motion for that" said Tommy interrupting Billy
"Ok I'll continue any way since I have one more thing to add, how do we free Tommy from safely from his suit so he can become normal again?"
"Are my class giving you the run around old man?" asked Tommy laughing slightly.
"On the contrary I believe you need to return to school and attend to a problem called Randal?"
"Agreed" chorused everyone.
"Well we do have that formula that we mixed from the meteor fragment that freed him from the Amber?" said Hayley.
"But we don't know if it's safe or not?" said Billy.
"Look I'm willing to take the risk I can't deal with being in this suit much longer" said Tommy.
"What will Adam think when he gets here and you're stuck in your suit?" asked Jason.
"Can we go yet?" asked Justin.
"Yeah and may the Power protect you" said Tommy as Justin and Kira headed to the stairs to exit the Command Cave with the details they would need to find their way to the island and to locate the swords they would need.
"Tommy just so you know where taking Storm and Dragonzord with us" said Justin.
"Right" said Tommy. As Justin and Kira left the Command Cave.

Meanwhile in Mesogog's island fortress, Andrea and Trent were sparing against one another, Trent's skills had substantially improved he was almost at the same level as Andrea. Zeltrax and Elsa were planning the next attack in their evil Zords, and trying to work out how to defeat the Rangers. Mesogog meanwhile was in conversation with his three other generals, Maligore, Louie Kaboom and General Gerrok working out a plan to defeat the Dino Rangers then take out any other Rangers that showed up.
"We should let the Rangers know we haven't given in" said Maligore.
"Let's send the Tyrannodrones to attack down town Reefside" said Mesogog.
"I will lead the attack" said General Gerrok.
"Just remember you are their to make them come out and face you, don't let them defeat you, also if you get a chance try to stop the original Red from interfering but don't hurt him or we lose the Crimson and White Rangers."
"Yes lord Mesogog, I will follow your instructions to the letter and get my revenge on the original Red Ranger for helping defeat me on the moon"
"Now go and create carnage"
"Yes my lord with pleasure" said Gerrok as he and a flock of Tyrannodrones headed to Reefside.

Meanwhile in the Command cave the alarm went off to alert them to the attack and on the screen was a video of the Tyrannodrone attack and General Gerrok attacking downtown Reefside.
"Conner, Ethan, Kim, Jason go and fight of the attack Billy, Kaylee, Selena and I will wait here incase this is a distraction for a bigger attack" said Tommy.
"I also want to run some scans on Kylee and work out what that light was that came out of her body" said Billy.
The four chosen Rangers left the Command Cave and headed for the attack while Hayley and Billy ran the scans on Kylee they would need to work out what the light did that left her body.
The details of the scans was entered the computer and was it was calculating the results but before it could give out the details a new voice could be heard coming down the stairs.
"Tommy I need to ask you something" said TJ.
"TJ what can I do for you?" asked Tommy.
"Well yesterday the Red and Pink Turbo's returned from a trip and told me that a light in their colours left their bodies leaving them feeling a little drained."
"The same happened to Kylee after battling the Zeltrax and Elsa's Super Zeo Zord's 1 and 3 like robots"
"Do you think the Zeltrax and Elsa are Ro"
"Stop right their and don't go any further I don't want to say/hear or believe that, not after what Zeltrax has said he has done to Justin's family"
"Why what did he say?"
"He said that he was responsible for the death of Justin's father"
"Do you believe him?"
"I don't know he has said several times that both Justin and I ruined his life"
"Where is Justin?"
"He and Kira are heading to the island that Anton and I were on before Mesogog showed up there are some hidden Zords their that should swing the balance our way in this fight don't forget the Dragonzord is one of the original Zords so it is doing well to hang in their this long. I know Justin has upgraded it in secret and has even been able to combine it with the current Zords"
"Ok I'll let you guy's run your tests but when you find out whats happening with the lights of their colours leaving their bodies please let me know"
"TJ you will be the fourth to know I promise you"
"Fourth?"
"Yeah after Billy, Hayley and Me"
"Ok see you later"
"By TJ"
Then TJ left the house to go back to Cassie, Cassidy and Devin.

Justin and Kira were in a secluded part of Reefside docks and they had morphed and Justin had activated the Dragonzord, they loaded Storm Blaster in to the Dragonzord and headed out under the water towards the island Tommy had worked on before coming to Reefside.
"Activate scanners to look for two swords" said Justin.
"Done" replied Kira.
"Good now we wait for a reply from the swords"
"So how long will that take?"
"I don't know Ptera but for now let's just enjoy ourselves away from the others"
"I guess your right we could use some time to ourselves"
Justin put Dragonzord on autopilot while he and Kira left the cockpit and went down into the innards on the Dragonzord they were heading to the engine room where they had set up a little home lie area with everything they would need for their journey to find the Swords and the two new Zords, they just hopped that everything would be alright in Reefside while they were gone.

Meanwhile Conner, Ethan, Kim and Jason had reached the attack site and began fighting them off until General Gerrok step forward.
"Prepare to be defeated Rangers" said Gerrok.
"No chance you will be defeated and once again destroyed but this time by me" said Jason.
"Ah Red Ranger it is thanks to you I have been returned to this life and I will thank you for it by defeating you"
"You can try"
"Ready guys?" said Conner.
"Yeah" they responded.
"IT'S MORPHIN TIME TYRANNOSAURUS" called Jason.
"IT'S MORPHIN TIME PINK RANGER POWER" called Kim.
"DINO THUNDER POWER UP" called Conner and Ethan.
"TYRANNO" called Conner.
"TRICERA" called Ethan.
Now the Rangers were morphed they split off leaving Jason to fight Gerrok and Conner, Ethan and Kim were fighting the Tyrannodrones. But this gave Gerrok and Mesogog what they had wanted a chance to stop Jason from interfering in their plan to return earth to the age of the Dinosaur.
Gerrok managed to knock Jason down and while he was down using a sword that resembled the Sword of Darkness shattered Jason's Tyrannosaurs power Coin causing him to demorph.
"Hah, Hah, Hah now you will no longer ruin my masters plan"
"I will be back Gerrok" said Jason as he teleported back to the Command Cave.
Gerrok now turned his attention to Kim and began attacking her while the Tyrannodrones were out numbering Ethan and Conner.
"Tommy they need your help" said Jason as he teleported in and fell to the ground.
"Right Selena lets go" said Tommy.
"DRAGON THUNDER POWER UP" called Selena and using Tommy's old Communicator they teleported to the battle scene.
Selena went to help Ethan and Conner with the Tyrannodrones and Tommy went to fight Gerrok and help Kimberly.

Meanwhile in the Dragonzord traveling through the sea to reach the island that Tommy had barley escaped from, Kira and Justin were relaxing in a quiet spell until Dragonzord's onboard alarms went off alerting them to something.
"What is it Justin?" asked Kira.
"It's the swords Dragonzord has located them and has changed direction to get them" responded Justin.
"Awesome how long till we get their?"
"According to the readings 5 minutes"
"Well I guess we should morph"
"Yeah if we want to go out their and get them we will need to"
"DINO THUNDER POWER UP PTERA" called Kira.
"GREEN RANGER DINO POWER" called Justin.
Now they were both morphed Kira and Justin made their way to the Diving bell so they could lower it down and then exit it and get the swords as quick as possible.
They exit the safety of the Diving bell and see two swords stuck in the sea bed.
"I guess that them" said Justin as they swam down to them and noticed that they both had a different pattern on one was of a Golden Shark and the other appeared to be a Dark Green/ Dark Blue three headed sea Dragon.
"Well then lets get them" said Kira as she grabbed the hilt of the Golden sword and pulled it out and Justin did the same with the other sword.
"Ok now back to the Diving bell"
"Right" said Kira as the both swam back and retracted the Diving bell back into Dragonzord.

Meanwhile back in the Command Cave Hayley, Billy and Kylee were busy in the laboratory section running the tests they wanted as Jason was slumped in a computer chair where he was being forced to watch the fight now his coin had been destroyed the only other T-rex coin was now in Rocky's possession and although know one said anything they all had a feeling that Rocky was Zeltrax, and that Kat was Elsa.
But suddenly the room he was sitting was shrouded in a bright golden light and then he heard two voices he thought he would never here again.
"JASON DO NOT WORRY WE HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU" said Zordon's voice.
"Zordon but how you were destroyed by Andros?" responded Jason.
"Like I explained to Justin I am on a different level of existence now"
"So does this mean I'm dead?"
"I hope not" said the third person who walked forward and was revealed to be Tray.
"Tray but your on Trifornia?" said Jason.
"I am on Trifornia but I share a telepathic link to Zordon as you do but I also share one with you since you helped me by keeping my powers safe while I was separated into three forms and I know it hurt you"
"Yes it took my life force" said Jason.
"Now we have something we would like to give you since we know you will use it wisely and also keep it safe"
"What is it?"
"IT IS THE POWER TO HELP ONCE AGAIN JASON I KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOUR POWER COIN BUT UNTIL SUCH TIME AS IT IS NEEDED AGAIN THE POWER OF THE MORPHING GRID SHALL RESTORE IT AS IT HAS THE OTHER COINS BUT THAT IS A SECRET THAT YOU MUST NOT REVEAL" said Zordon.
"Ok I'll do anything to help Zordon" responded Jason as golden energy flowed through his body then in front of him appeared the Golden Power Staff.
"But how I though it could kill me?" asked Jason.
"Only the full power can do that that is why this time you have a weaker version of my powers, don't get me wrong they maybe weaker but they will still pack a punch and you also have access to the warrior wheel Zord it is yours to use and help defeat any threat to this planet" said Tray.
"Thank you I will not let either of you down" said Jason.
"WE KNOW YOU WON'T THAT IS WHY WE CHOSE YOU" said Zordon.
The Golden light vanished and Jason was left in the Command Cave sitting at the computer with the Golden Power Staff in his hand.
"What was that flash of Gold?" asked Billy as he, Hayley and Kylee came out of the lab with pages of results to look through.
"It was a present that means I'm going back to action" said Jason.
