Summary: this is a rewrite of Dino Thunder it starts just after the teens go home after finding the Gems.

Chapter 33
In Mesogog's castle Elsa, Zeltrax and Andrea and Trent were celebrating stealing two of the Rangers Zords and entered the room where Mesogog was torturing a prisoner.
"My lord we captured two of the Rangers Zords" said Trent.
"Excellent news, you all may help in the torture of the Gold Ranger before we dispose of him" said Mesogog.
"Excellent do you know who he is?" asked Andrea.
"No he refuses to answer our questions but since you know about former Rangers maybe you can tell us who he is" said General Gerrok.
Jason was almost unconscious in the suit but was able to hear what was being said.
"What team is he from?"
"He is Zeo I recognize him from a similar Ranger I fought a long time ago" said Louie Kaboom.
Andrea and Trent walked in the room to look at the Ranger and the state he was in.
"I know of Two Gold Ranger's from the Zeo time which are you?" Andrea in her Crimson suit asked slightly nervously.
"Do you really need to ask that" said the Gold Ranger and it was a voice Andrea knew all too well.
Before anyone could stop her she was undoing the ties that held the Gold Ranger down and that's when Trent and Mesogog and the others entered the room.
"What do you think you are doing, I wanted you to destroy him?" said Mesogog.
"I will never destroy him"
"Trent you will finish the job your Girlfriend seems unable to, then I will destroy her loved ones"
Trent approached the Gold Ranger with his Drago Sword drew and swung it down towards the Gold Ranger. Andy pulled out her Stega Scythe to block it inches away from Jason.
The White and Crimson Rangers fought back and forth around the Room allowing Mesogog to lower a laser towards the Gold Ranger but as he fired Andrea who had knocked Trent away rose her wrist up and blocked the laser with her Dino Gem. The impact of the blast knocked Andrea off her feet and Jason was soon at his sister's side and Trent who was within listening distance could hear their conversation.
"Thanks Andy for saving me from that laser" said Jason.
"Don't mention it Jason you would have done the same for me" said Andy.
"Yeah I would have done that and more, how's your wrist?"
"It's good and I can't feel the Evil energy in it either"
Suddenly everything made sense to Trent the Gold Ranger was Jason, Andrea's brother.
"You have no one to protect you this time Gold Ranger" said Mesogog as he repositioned the laser to take out Jason but it would also hurt Andrea.
Andrea screamed in anticipation of the impact but it never came instead their stood Trent blocking it with his Gem.
"Andy call Justin tell him to get us out of here?" said Jason as they heard an explosion and Trent flew over the table and landed beside them.
Andy followed Jason's orders and called Justin.

In the Command Cave the invisible Tommy was shouting at Justin.
"WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THAT ABOUT, YOU COST US TWO ZORDS"
Justin just stood there looking at the clock as if he was expecting something to happen.
"Dragon Honey what's wrong" asked Kira.
"Three, Two, One" he said, and as he reached for his phone it began to ring.
"Hello"
'Hey Justin Jason wants you to come and get us'
"I'm on my way Andy"
'Please hurry I don't know how long we'll be safe for and Trent could be seriously hurt'
"Yeah I'm on my way see you soon Andy"
They both hung up and everyone looked to Justin wanting answers.
"Ok what's going on you have that look on your face?" said Kim.
"I'll explain later but right now I have to go and save three lives" said Justin as he pulled out his Morpher and called. "GREEN RANGER DINO POWER" there he stood in his suit and Storm Blaster appeared beside him. "Ok Storm target Jason's communicator and teleport me their" he said to the jeep, and in a flash of Green light Justin teleported out.
"Oh He's Good, I knew there was a reason I loved him" said Kira, she had just managed to work out what was going on especially since they had all heard the phone conversation and had heard the way Andrea was talking.
"What is it?" asked everyone else.
"Justin purposely let the two Zords get taken so Andy and Trent would see the Gold Ranger, Mesogog knowing her Ranger history will have used her to identify what team he was and when he spoke she would have known it was"
"Jason" interrupted Billy, before adding "if I may continue. Andre will defend her own brother causing Mesogog to try and order Trent to do it and eventually he will be made to choose who he sides with and as the two of them try to free Jason the evil spell on the Dino Gems will have vanished"
"So you mean he planned on the Zords getting taken?" asked Conner, still unable to understand everything.
"Yeah its complicated baby" said Kylee as she sat beside Conner.

Meanwhile in Mesogog's castle Justin had just materialized in his suit in front of Andrea, Trent and Jason.
"Ah Green Ranger I take it you have come for you friends" said Mesogog.
"Yes I have and you can do nothing to stop me" said Justin.
"I could help you join them in a heap on the floor" said Mesogog as he re-aimed the laser at Justin who pulled out the Dragon Dagger and as the laser beam came at him he played a tune on the dagger and the laser beam deflected back at Mesogog causing the computer terminal powering the laser to blow up.
"You shall pay for that" said Mesogog.
"Maybe but not today" said Justin as he knelt in front of Trent and made sure he was holding Trent while Jason was holding Andrea and they teleported out of Mesogog's island fortress.
They landed in a heap in the command cave and Jason and Justin instantly de-morphed and tried to help Trent and Andrea but Jason as soon as he tried to lift Andrea onto a sofa in the command cave he collapsed and passed out through the pain he was feeling, so Selena and Kira came over and lifted her on to the sofa. While Justin placed Trent on the other one and once that was done he and Billy approached Jason to help him and while they were doing this Conner and Ethan were bringing a chair down from upstairs to place Jason in.

After a few minutes Tommy's voice said "Ok so what do we do now?"
"We let the three of them recover and while their doing that me Billy and Hayley will try to find a way to make you visible" said Justin as the command cave became a rush of energy as Billy and Justin spent the next 30 minutes coming up with ideas and triple checking them to see if any were going to help make Tommy visible.
"We need to ask Tommy for what we need" said Justin.
"Affirmative it is essential to the plan" said Billy.
"I guess you have some good news?" asked Tommy.
"Maybe" said Justin.
"What do you mean with maybe?"
"Were going to try something experimental so we don't know if it will work or if it is even safe so what wear going to do is ask you for a blood sample so we can find you DNA sequence and then use a hair follicle or something that has your DNA in it to try and jump start the sequence"
"I have no idea where you would get one from?"
"Well let's try this Tommy take off your Morpher and place it on the table then back away" said Billy.
Tommy followed Billy's instructions and as he backed away the Morpher and Gem rematerialized.
"Now pluck a hair from your head and place it on this bit of paper" said Justin as he placed a sheet of A4 paper on the computer table.
Tommy pulled a hair out of his head and placed it on the paper and waited to see if they could do anything with it.

Almost an hour later and Tommy was still waiting for any news from Justin or Billy.
"Come on guy's you must know by now weather you can do the test on me or not?" asked Tommy.
"Sorry Tommy your DNA is being affected by the invisibility power of the Morpher" said Billy.
"So what can you do?"
"We need someone who shares your DNA" said Billy.
"Billy, David thinks I'm dead my whole family believes I died in the explosion on the island that Mesogog blew up to try and get the Dino Gems"
"Tommy if you don't contact them then we have to think of a new way to get you visible again" said Kim.
"Hey what about you clone Bro?" asked Jason who had been listening to the conversation for the past 10 minutes.
"We have no way to reach him he was sent back to 1870's" said Tommy.
"I agree but maybe we can trace a direct ancestor how much of your family free do you know?" asked Billy.
"Nothing because I never had cause to learn about them apart from David and his adopted dad."
"Well in that case I suggest we stop hear for now after all it's a school day tomorrow and Justin, Kira and I need to last the day without falling asleep during classes" said Billy deciding to get the school kids to do a family tree tomorrow just so they could learn a little about their history and see if any of them were related to anyone surprising.

The next day in school Conner, Kylee, Ethan and Selena were sitting round one table and just behind them were Justin, Kira, Devin and Cassidy. And both Cassidy and Devin were wondering how they should approach Justin about asking him if he was the Blue Turbo Ranger. Then the door opens and in walks DR Cranston he places his work sheets down on the desk and turns to the class and gets them to pass round a sheet of A4 paper and once everyone has one he says.
"Right class today we're going to have a break from your normal school work and do something a little different. What you are going to do with your piece of paper is write your family tree on it and we'll see if any of you are distant relatives"
Everyone began working on the family tree's, Justin new most of his father's side but nothing of his mother's except her first name was Elizabeth so he put that down and also his father's brother Hal although he couldn't remember if Hal had married or had any children it had been a long time since he had meet them so he continued going back through his father's side of the family tree. His grandfather Keith had married a woman called Gladis Moran, before that the Stewart name wasn't that easy to track down the Moran name was easier to find Gladis had a brother called Robert and their father was called Arthur Moran and their mother was called Connie Smith. Then he ran out of family he knew so he tried to think if his uncle Hal had married or had any children but his mind was blank he hadn't seen his uncle since he was 4.
Billy looked round the class and saw a few of the students had finished writing, some looked like they were stuck trying to think of any more members of their family and others were still righting theirs down Billy also noticed that Cassidy hadn't wrote anything then realized she was probably thinking of her dead step mother. So he asked her and Devin to come to the front. They did as Billy asked and he said to them.
"Cassidy I know this is must still be a hard subject for you so just this once if you want you and Devin can step out the room and I'll give you a check for being here so you won't get in trouble"
"Thanks Dr. Cranston I really appreciate it" said Cassidy as both she Devin left the room.

Ten minutes later Billy told the class to stop and let him see what the results were. Surprisingly most of them were quiet detailed and tracked back to the mid 1800's, but when he reached Justin's he saw that he had followed the Stewart side and found he was related to a LA gang family with the name Moran, but there was nothing on his mother's side apart from her first name of Elizabeth.
"Ok class you have all done well but I have some homework for those of you who haven't reached that far back to get you family trees to the 1870's at a minimum it is up to you if you go any further back, and that is due tomorrow?" said Billy.
Everyone packed up their books and left the class and went about the rest of their lessons.

The Dino Rangers meet up at the end of the day and went up to Tommy's house to see how Trent, Andrea and Jason were doing in their recovery from the escape of Mesogog's island fortress.
"Hey Tommy do you mind if I use your computer to finish my homework for Billy?" asked Justin once he entered the Command Cave.
"Yeah sure what is it anyway?" Tommy voice responded.
"Oh we have to do a family tree back to the 1870's" said Justin as he loaded the computer up, then he added "I need to finish my fathers, did you know I'm related to Californian Mafia family?"
"Really I would never of guest."
"I know now then Arthur Moran was the son of Robert Moran and Emily Oliver" at the mention of the name Oliver everyone just looked at Justin and the ground where a smash had been herd and tommy had dropped a glass of water.
"There's no proof it's an Oliver that's related to Tommy it could just be coincidence" said Kim as everyone was shocked that the surname Oliver was in Justin's family tree.
"How far back is that that Justin?" asked Tommy.
"They were married in 1879"
"I never remember tracing an Emily Oliver in my family history" said Tommy.
