Summary: this is a rewrite of Dino Thunder it starts just after the teens go home after finding the Gems.

Chapter 45
Ivan Ooze appeared in what looked like a desert with the map in hand that began to flash faster the closer Ivan got to his brothers location.
"Soon my brother I will find you and together we shall once again rule the universe with our evil" said Ivan.
The map started to flash brighter until the flash stopped and just stayed lit up over one location.
"Ah there you are brother soon I will set you free" said Ivan as he created a group of Oozemen to dig up the Hyperlocked Chamber that contained his brother.
After a few hours the Hyperlocked Chamber was dug up and Ivan was standing in front of it he raised his hands and Purple energy erupted from Ivan's hands and into the Chamber that was housing Vile Ooze breaking the Chamber open revealing a dark green Ooze liquid inside.
"It is time, come on out Vile it is time that the two of us finish what we started millennia ago" said Ivan.
The Green slime began to move about until it started to form a solid mass and there appeared Vile Ooze.
"After 10,000 years its feels so good to be free" said Vile as he looked round and saw his brother.
"What is even better brother is that Zordon is gone we can rule the universe once again without him and any power source strong enough to capture us both" said Ivan.
"Excellent then the empire of Ooze will once again reign supreme across the universe" said Vile.
"Come brother lets go to Reefside and destroy the Power Rangers and then the universe" said Ivan.
With a flash of Purple and Green Ivan and Vile vanished.

At the Command Cave the Rangers were waiting for Trent and Andrea to get back from Angel Grove and tell them what had been going on in their absence, they heard the front door open and the trap door open and down walked Trent and Andrea.
"Andrea, Trent what's wrong?" asked Justin.
Selena was also concerned about her friend as the two of them approached the White and Crimson Dino Thunder Rangers.
"Uhm we had a run in with Maligore and the Tyrannodrones on the way back" said Andrea.
"What happened?" asked Selena.
"I need to tell you all something that some of you may have already worked out" said Trent taking a deep breath before continuing "My adopted Father Anton Mercer was Mesogog"
"What I can't believe you didn't tell us this from the start" said Conner.
"Trent what do you mean was Mesogog?" asked Tommy.
"Maligore came with a message that Mesogog had separated himself from Anton" said Trent.
"I'd bet it was more Anton found a way to destroy the Dino DNA inside him and Mesogog altered it to separate them into two beings" said Tommy.
"What was the message Trent?" asked Kim.
"Mesogog wants us to hand over the Dino Gems and in return he will give us Anton" said Trent.
"How do we know you are not playing us Trent and have secretly still been on Mesogog's side this whole time" said Conner.
"Do you really think Mesogog would have gone to all the trouble creating monsters to destroy us all and tell me how to defeat them" said Trent
"Maybe" said Conner bluntly.
"Conner stop it you know better than that by now I hope" said Justin, then he added "I believe them and they wouldn't have told us all this unless they had a plan to do this without risking the Dino Gems"
"Yes well Andrea has a plan" said Trent.
"Ok so you know how you and Billy created the fake Turbo Keys to give Ninjagon, could you create fake Dino Gems that give off an energy signal that Mesogog will believe?" asked Andrea.
"Yes I think we could but the real Gems would have to be hidden somewhere that Mesogog can't read their energy signal" said Justin.
"What about in Storm Blasters glove box would it shield there signals?" asked Kira.
"Yes it would since it can hide the energy of my Turbo Morpher from any tracker" said Justin.
"So what's the plan?" asked Ethan.
"The Dino Rangers minus Selena and I take Storm Blaster to Mesogog's castle since it knows the way, the real gems are hidden in the glove box safely, you exchange the Gems for Anton and get out of their before he realises the gems are fake. Conner you and Trent working together stand the best chance of getting Anton out safely" said Justin.
"Has everyone gone mad" said Conner.
"Conner what is wrong with you" asked Tommy.
"Am I the only one that thinks this is a set up?" asked Conner.
"Conner, remember all you have learnt and how much your opinion of being a Ranger has changed you through your journey so far, everyone deserves a second Chance" said Tommy.
"Why?" asked Conner.
"Are you not giving Kat and myself a second chance?" asked Rocky.
"But that is different" said Conner.
"How is it different?" asked Kat.
"Because you were both Rangers before you got turned Evil" said Conner.
"Tommy wasn't a Ranger before and we all gave him second chance and he has become a mentor for your team" said Kim.
Conner thought about it and said "Your right but I have a bad feeling about this" said Conner.
"You are allowed one Conner this is like no situation we have ever faced, never have so many enemies joined together and attacked one location all at the same time"
"Is it wise to take away the Dino team from the front line? You do know they will launch a full attack the minute the Dino Gems are in Mesogog's castle" said Devin.
"We know that is why we are bringing in the extra Rangers we can to make them believe we are giving Mesogog the real Gems" said Tommy.
"Should TJ and Cassie be here for this as well?" asked Cassidy.
"Only if they can get their Astro Morphers" replied Tommy.
"Have they been told about the plan?" asked Justin.
"Uh Oops I forgot to call them" said Kat as she began making contact with TJ.
After a few seconds TJ answered the call and said "Hey Tommy what's up?"
"TJ how quickly can you and Cassie get your Astro Morphers?" asked Tommy.
"One call and Andros will send them to us why what's going on?" asked TJ.
"One of the biggest battles in Power Rangers history is getting close" replied Tommy.
"I'll contact Andros and get our Morphers then we will meet up at your place and you can explain everything" said TJ.
"Right see you later TJ" said Tommy as the call ended.

In TJ and Cassie's house TJ opened a cupboard and pulled out a communications device that was kept safely where it wouldn't be found.
"TJ to the Astro Megaship do you read me?" said TJ.
"TJ what can I do for you?" asked Andros.
"Can you send Cassie and I our Astro Morphers" replied TJ.
"Sure thing, what mission are you going on that needs them?" asked Andros.
"Just got a call from Tommy saying one of the biggest ever attacks on Earth in one location is going to happen in Reefside and that we would need our Morphers" said TJ.
"What does he know that I don't?" asked Andros forgetting that TJ and Cassie could hear him.
"What was that Andros?" asked TJ.
"I said what does Tommy know that I don't I called them not long ago to tell them that Ivan Ooze was looking for his brother" said Andros.
"Maybe he has already found him" said Cassie.
"Maybe I'm sending you your Morpher now and I shall head to Earth once I pick up a friend and be ready to help join the fight if we're needed" said Andros.
They finished their call and closed the communications device up and put it back and TJ and Cassie waited then a few minutes later with a flash of Blue and Pink their Astro Morphers appeared on the Kitchen table.
TJ and Cassie grabbed their Astro Morphers and headed out the house and towards Tommy's.

Twenty minutes later they pulled up at Tommy's and as they got out there car another car could be heard approaching so they waited to see who it was, the second car pulled up and out of it got Ashley.
"You both get a phone call to come here?" asked Ashley as she hugged Cassie and TJ.
"Yeah some big threat that could be more dangerous than the Countdown attack when Zordon sacrificed himself for the universe" said Cassie.
"You both got you Astro Morphers?" asked Ashley.
"Yeah Andros sent them to us he also said he was on his way after he picked up some help" said TJ.
The three of them stood in front of the door to Tommy's house and TJ Knocked on the door and waited for somebody to answer the door.
Down in the Command Cave Tommy could see TJ, Cassie and Ashley were waiting at the door and turned to see who was closest to the stairs and it was Cassidy.
"Cassidy can you go and let TJ, Cassie and Ashley in there at the door" said Tommy.
"Sure" said Cassidy getting up and heading to up the stairs and letting in TJ, Cassie and Ashley.
"So Tommy what's the plan to save the Earth this time?" asked TJ after everyone had sat back down.
"Well Justin is getting ready to make some fake Dino Gems which we hope are ready when Jason, Adam, Tanya and Billy get back to Town then Kira, Conner, Ethan, Trent and Andrea will travel to Mesogog's castle to recover Anton Mercer by handing over the fake Dino Gems and while they are doing that the rest of us will be fighting Maligore, Ivan Ooze, his Brother, Divatox and an army of Tyrannodrones and Oozemen" said Tommy.
"I hope I'm not the first to say this but I have a bad feeling about the plan" said TJ.
"See I told you" said Conner.
"What happens if Mesogog realises that they are fake Gems?" asked Ashley.
"You really think I would do shoddy workmanship on them and put the others in danger?" asked Justin.
"No it's just how are you going to replicate the energy signature from each Dino Gem?" asked Cassie.
"I'm infusing each Dino Gem with a small amount of energy from the corresponding dinosaur that way Mesogog will believe they are genuine until the Rangers escape with Anton and Morph into their Dino suits" said Justin.
"But will the genuine Dino Gems be close by in case they need them?" asked TJ.
"Yes the real Dino Gems will be safely hidden inside Storm Blasters Glove box where nothing can sense them" said Hayley.
"But who will drive Storm Blaster you didn't mention Justin was going with them?" asked TJ.
"TJ you know better than that, Storm doesn't need a driver and Kira will be sitting behind the wheel since Storm Blaster trust's her" said Justin.
"How long will it take to make the fake Gems?" asked Cassie.
"A few hours, which should give the guy's coming in from Angel Grove enough time to get here" said Tommy.

Three hours had past and Justin was putting the finishing touches to the fake Dino Gems buy making sure they had the essence of the right dinosaurs inside, when there was a knock on the door and Tommy looked at the Video feed to see who it was and there on the door step was Jason, Adam, Tanya and Billy
"Excellent they are all here now we are just waiting on Andros and whoever it is he's picking up to arrive then we are ready for this fight" said Tommy as he left the Command Cave and opened the door for the other Rangers letting them in.
"So what the plan?" asked Jason.
They listened as Tommy told them of the plan and also about why he had called for them to come back
"You really think they will attack when you go to give them the Dino Gems?" asked Jason.
"Yeah they will think they have an advantage and that we will be down 1 team of Rangers" said Tommy.
"Clever thinking Tommy but I see one major problem" said Billy.
"What is it Billy?" asked Tommy.
"Well with your depleted numbers during the beginning of the attack and not having a way to stop Ivan and his brother Vile Ooze since we no longer have Zordon, how do you plan on defeating them?" asked Billy.
"The only thing we have that has anything close to the required level of Power is the Zeo Crystal, if I remember correctly it gets stronger the longer it exists and we have had control of it for 7 years so it will be more powerful now than it was against the Machine Empire and maybe combining the powers from within it we can stop them" said Tommy.
"Your memory is accurate Tommy but I fear it may take more than the Zeo Crystal to stop them both" said Billy.
"We will do whatever it takes to help" said Devin stepping forward.
"Not even a question even if it takes all our power to stop them we will do it" said TJ.
"Let's go everyone gear up for a fight to the end either we win or they do" said Tommy.
Conner didn't know what else to say and since his team were not going to be at the start of the fight he remained silent.
"Good luck everyone and may the Power protect you all" said Justin.
"So are we starting the attack now?" asked Hayley wondering what was going to happen next.
"Yes its time, Conner here are the fake Dino Gems now place your real ones inside Storm Blaster's glove box" said Justin.
"What about You, Selena and Tommy, are you going to keep hold of your Dino Gems?" asked Kira.
"Yeah we will keep them on but with our other powers active we shouldn't need to use them" said Justin.
"Stay safe you hear me" said Kylee hugging Conner.
"Be careful" said Selena to Ethan.
"Kira, Storm's ready for you the coordinates are already set" said Justin.
"Thanks dragon and try not to have too much fun while we are gone" smirked Kira.
Justin and Kira shared a quick kiss and then Kira got in Storm Blaster and they headed off.
"Now we wait" said Tommy.

With a flash of purple and green Ivan and Vile Ooze return to Mesogog's base and learn that Mesogog has begun the plan that leads to the destruction of the Power Rangers by weakening their numbers and overall strength.
"The only thing left to do is finalise the retransformation of Divatox" said Maligore.
"Yes but for some reason she seems to be reluctant to return to her old self" said Mesogog.
"We have wasted enough time trying to do this the easy way, Vile and I shall infuse her directly with evil energy" said Ivan.
Both Vile and Ivan stood either side of Divatox and raised their hands and out of them shot Purple and green energy and it went straight into Divatox and she screamed as her body was transformed back into her evil persona.
"Ah it feels so good to be back and bad that stupid women I became tried to stop this feeling returning" said Divatox.
"Excellent we can leave you to deal with the one problem you know the best and that is the Turbo Rangers, they are still around and your expertise in fighting them will be greatly helpful" said Ivan.
"How are they still around Goldgoyle destroyed them?" asked Divatox.
"It is unknown how but we believe that Zordon's last act after the Z wave was to infuse every Morpher of the previous teams to insure they could defend the earth if necessary" said Mesogog who had been doing research ever since the first Turbo Ranger showed up.
"And one of the original Turbo's is still there Justin Stewart" said Maligore.
"Ah little boy blue I shall enjoy torturing him when we are victorious" said Divatox.
"So when do we attack" asked Vile.
"We attack when the Dino Thunder team arrive to hand over there Dino Gems, in exchange for Anton Mercer" said Mesogog.
A Buzzer sounded and it showed Storm Blaster approaching an invisiportal with five of the Dino Thunder Rangers sitting inside.
"They are coming now is the time to begin the attack" said Mesogog.
After that Ivan and Vile covered everyone in Purple and Green energy and they teleported out through an Invisiportal.

Outside the main room of Mesogog's base Storm Blaster emerged from an Invisiportal and landed then the 5 Dino Thunder Rangers who were in Storm Blaster got out and headed towards the main room and confront Mesogog.
"Ah so you have come for the waste of space known as Anton Mercer" growled Mesogog.
"Yes and here are the Dino Gems as promised" said Trent standing up and opening the box to reveal the fake gems.
"Excellent, give them to me" said Mesogog.
"Mercer first" said Conner.
Mesogog growled in frustration that the Rangers were still irritating him, "Fine he's in the prison cell over there" said Mesogog.
Conner went over to see if Mesogog was telling them the truth and found the unconscious body of Anton Mercer in the cell and pulled him out and nodded to Trent to hand over the fake gems as he put Anton in Storm Blaster.
"Now it is time for your destruction" laughed Mesogog as he ordered a small group of Tyrannodrones to attack the Rangers.

In the Command Cave the others were waiting for the attack they all knew was coming, then the Alarm went off and on the screen was the start of the attack with Ivan Ooze, Vile Ooze, Divatox and Maligore being followed by Tyrannodrones.
"Ok its time" said Tommy.
"Do you think my Ninjetti outfit will be of use Tommy?" asked Billy.
"No that is why you are using your Triceratops Coin" said Jason.
"But it has no power" said Billy.
"Billy trust me it will work, when you Morph believe in the power of the coin and call Blue Ranger Power and it will work" said Kim.
"Are you positive?" asked Billy.
Jason nodded at Billy letting him know everything was ok and would work right.
"Tommy what do we do if we need the Zords?" questioned Justin.
Everyone looked to Tommy and he thought about the question for a second before nodding to Hayley who activated a program on the computer that showed the Zords available and the line ups Tommy had put in the Megazords.
"Everyone ready, then let's go" said Tommy.
"Tommy Andros isn't here yet?" said TJ.
"Hayley keep a look out for Andros making contact and when he does send him the fight coordinates" said Tommy.
"Will do" said Hayley as the Rangers left the Command Cave and headed for the fight location.

The 17 Rangers reach the attack sight and stare down the army of enemies.
"Ha, is that it the size of your Army to save the World" said Ivan.
"You are going to need something better than what you have there if you think you will be victorious" said Maligore.
"Well we stopped you with just 5 of us" said Justin.
"Ah little boy blue has grew up" said Divatox.
"You are going Down you have no power source strong enough to defeat both Ivan and I" said Vile Ooze.
"It's Morphin Time" called Jason.
"Tyrannosaurus"
"Pink Ranger Power"
"Blue Ranger Power"
"Zeo Ranger 1 Pink"
"Zeo Ranger 2 Yellow"
"Zeo Ranger 3 Blue"
"Zeo Ranger 4 Green"
"Zeo Ranger 5 Red"
"Shift into Turbo" called Devin.
"Mountain Blaster Turbo Power"
"Desert Thunder Turbo Power"

"Let's Rock it" called TJ.
Seconds later the 17 of them stood morphed in front of the attackers ready to defend the planet from them.
"If you want to go down fighting then so be it, maybe some of you will remember these" said Ivan, as both he and his brother raised their hands and from their fingers came Purple and Green lightning striking the ground creating Oozemen.
The 17 Rangers were struggling to fight back against the amount of Oozemen and Tyrannodrones that Ivan, Vile, Maligore and Divatox weren't even having to fight them.
"We could sure use the others help about now" said Justin.

Meanwhile back in Mesogog's base the Dino Thunder Rangers that had gone on the mission were being surrounded by Tyrannodrones.
"Now you shall be destroyed I have you Dino Gems you cannot morph and stop me" laughed Mesogog.
Suddenly the Tyrannodrones started to get beaten back and Mesogog was watching and saw that the Rangers civilian powers that there Gems had given them were still working.
"Those powers you have left won't help you defeat me so you may as well give up" Mesogog growled.
"We might not have our gems but we can stop you from using them for Evil" said Kira.
"HA I'd like to see you try" growled Mesogog holding the case open that the Gems were inside of.
"Guy's cover up" said Kira.
Mesogog watched as the other Dino Rangers covered their ears as Kira released the loudest Ptera scream she could and directed it at the case of Dino Gems. Mesogog watched as the Gems began to vibrate and as Kira reached a high note in the Ptera scream the Gems shattered into hundreds of pieces.
"No my Dino Gems" screamed Mesogog.
"Now you can't use them for evil and we have what we wanted" said Trent as the Dino Rangers jumped into Storm Blaster and left as fast as they could.
"Tyrannodrones gather we will be joining the fight in Reefside now there are no more Dino Thunder Power Rangers the others should be defeated with relative ease" said Mesogog as they jumped through and Invisiportal.
Storm Blaster meanwhile had emerged from the Invisiportal it had left through and was heading to Tommy's house to let Anton Mercer recover there.
