Chapter 2: Class 1-C

Izuku walked up the streets up to U.A. It was early morning, so he was yawning a bit. He lifted his bag forward as he continued to walk. As he saw U.A. coming up on the horizon, a pair of friendly voices called out other.

"Deku!" Ochako's voice called. "Wait up!"

"Midoriya!" Iida's voice called next. "Allow us to accompany you to the entrance!"

Izuku saw that Ochako and Iida were running up to him. He waited for them until they caught up. The three then walked towards the U.A. together.

As they walked up the hill, eventually reaching the entrance of U.A., they found an unusual sight. A car was parked in front of the school. To be specific, the car was a black Lamborghini with orange decals, and it was parked right by the entrance to the school. A bunch of students were eyeing the car suspiciously.

"Whoa…" Ochako uttered in awe. "A Lamborghini… never seen one in real life!"

"It is quite fascinating…" Iida agreed, albeit snapping back to his orderly self. "But be careful around it! We don't know who it may belong to!"

Izuku slowly looked at the Lamborghini as well. He had seen pictures of it before, but the real thing was definitely different. It was very sleek looking, and honestly, he thought, if it had wings, it could probably fly. The door swung open, startling everyone around the car. The door slid upward, and then a figure stepped off out. To Izuku's surprise, it was Akira, the student they just met yesterday. He had his sunglasses on, and smirked as he closed his car door. All of the students then slowly mumbled to themselves about the new face. He quickly twirled over to a female student.

"Bonjour cherie." He spoke to the female student. "Have a good day."

The girl then blushed madly, as she buried her embarrassment into her hands. Akira then put his sunglasses on his head and began to walk into the building.

"Akira!" Ochako called out.

Akira turned around and saw Ochako running up to him. Behind her, Iida and Izuku were on her heels.

"Oh, mademoiselle Uraraka!" He greeted. "Monsieur Iida and Midoriya, good morning."

"You know our names?" Iida asked. "We haven't introduced ourselves though."

"Oh, nonsense." Akira replied, lifting his sunglasses to his head. "I took the liberty of learning the faces and names of Class 1-A."

"Well…" Izuku said, scratching his head. "At least we know each other better now!"

Akira nodded, and put his hand out for a handshake. Izuku awkwardly shook it, and Akira couldn't help but chuckle at it.

"Tell you what, mes nouveaux amis…" He said. "We'll be meeting each other again soon."

"Huh?" All three of them muttered.

Akira put his sunglasses back on, and then continued into the building.

"Meeting each again soon…?" Izuku wondered. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Everyone thought for a second before Iida spoke up.

"Oh, but of course!" He exclaimed. "The new student's Battle Trials are today! And they've chosen us to train against!"

"Really?!" Ochako smiled. "Then, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

And with that, the three rushed into the building and into their classrooms. As they went inside, they came across some new faces, but they respectfully paid no attention to them until they reached their classroom.

(Cue the Transformers Armada theme)

Izuku, Iida, Ochako, Todoroki, and Bakugo appear onto the screen with the rest of their classmates, along with Aizawa and All Might standing beside them.

A bright light shine on them. They cover their eyes as they see an ensemble of silhouetted figures. The figures get into battle stances as Ryusei, in costume, drops down from above in front of them. His figure towers the silhouetted figures, almost rivalling All Might's height. This is Class 1-C.

Then, as the music slowly ends, the silhouetted figures all charged towards Class 1-A, and then the screen is blinded by a bright light. Taking the place of the light is still a yet silhouetted pic of Class 1-C, along with the title.

The day went on normally. Normal classes, such as English, Math, all the other stuff. And then, they went to grab lunch. However, there was a slight change in the school's atmosphere. Nonetheless, nothing too big had happened.

Just as a side note, the change of Class 1-C into a Hero Course meant that all of the other classes' letter designation had to be pushed back by one letter. For example, the formerly Class 1-C of General Studies is now Class 1-D of General Studies, and this letter designation change was applied from them onward.

Class 1-A is currently resting in their homeroom, as they waited for Aizawa to give out instructions for the next class, Basic Hero Training. He came sooner than expected, so, all of the students quickly took their seats.

"Alright, it's time for Hero Basic Training." He announced. "All Might and the new homeroom teacher of 1-C will meet you at Ground Beta."

On that note, all of the students quickly grabbed their costume cases and headed to the changing rooms. They arrived at Ground Beta sooner than expected. The city-like training around was still as impressive as ever.

"I wonder what today's training will be…" Momo wondered quietly.

Just then, a familiar laughter can be heard from above. Then, with a twinkle in the sky, All Might landed right in front of all of the students and greeted them accordingly.

"I…" He began. "…AM HERE!"

The wind whooshed comically over Class 1-A's heads as silence ensued. All Might quickly stood back up and greeted the students.

"Good afternoon, students!" He said in his triumphant voice. "Nice to see you are all looking so good!"

"Y'know, that gets really old the more times you do it." Kirishima commented quietly.

All Might scoffed quietly, but just resumed his triumphant stance.

"Well then!" He began. "I'm sure you have questions about today's training!"

"Yes!" Iida answered in a yell of confirmation. "Mr. Aizawa said something about a Battle Trial with new students!"

"Correct! As always, Young Iida, you are always on top of things!" All Might explained. "Today's Basic Hero Training shall be… combat!"

"As Young Iida said, you will be placed in combat situations against unfamiliar foes!" All Might exclaimed. "In this case, you will be fighting students of the newly formed Class 1-C!"

Everyone gasped quietly. Fighting Class 1-C on the first day? They have had it pretty rough themselves on their first day, but these guys are going to fighting people that already had at least a week's worth of experience?

"Are we really fighting them?" Jirou asked, sounding a little uncertain. "I mean, we have a week's worth of training ahead of them… seems a little too sudden."

"Do not worry about them!" answered a voice. "My students are more than hardened to keep up with you!"

Everyone began to look around to see where the voice had come from. Then, from the sky, hovered down an armored suit up of some kind.

"I apologize for my delay, All Might!" He called. "I got lost on my way here!"

"No worries, friend!" All Might assured. "You arrived just in time!"

Ryusei finally faced the students, his stance almost equivalent to All Might. Class 1-A couldn't quite tell who it was yet however.

"And who are you?" Momo asked.

"I'm Class 1-C's homeroom teacher!" Ryusei replied. "But people know me better… as the Cosmic Hero!"

All of Class 1-A pondered a bit, but then Izuku quickly yelped, realizing who it was.

"No way…!" He gasped. "You're… you're…!"

"That's right, young Midoriya!" All Might smiled. "This young man is none other than the No. 3 hero, Star Saber!"

Everyone stopped in awe. They have heard stories about Star Saber. Star Saber, while not being in Japan all the time, he has made various heroics across the entire globe. Most stories often involve him leading a legion's worth of Heroes against Villains. Those stories are often the source of children seeking to become Heroes.

All Might wasn't the only one that gave children dreams.

"Now, with introductions out of the way, Star Saber will explain today's class!" All Might announced, giving Star Saber the stage.

Ryusei, now named Star Saber from this point onward, coughed into his mouth and spoke.

"As All Might explained, you will be combatting my students." Star Saber explained. "It will be just like your Battle Trials at the beginning of the year."

"There is one catch though." He continued. "Instead of securing a weapon, it will be a simplistic fight. You will be paired up in teams of two and fight my students until one of them drops to the ground!"

The students were excited at that at least. Up until now, their training always involved an objective of some kind. Now, this time, it is just a simple, good ol-fashioned slugfest. However, some of the students were a little unsecure, as Bakugo seemed more excited about this than everyone else.

"…Is a simple brawl really a good idea?" Momo asked. "We wouldn't want anyone to get seriously hurt or anything."

"It will be alright, Ms…" Star Saber paused to get her name.

"Yaoyorozu." Momo answered.

"Oh, yes, thank you. Still trying to remember names." Star Saber chuckled. "Don't worry about it, Ms. Yaoyorozu. If a fight goes out of hand, All Might and myself will order a cease."

"Any other questions?" Star Saber called.

All of the students stayed quiet. Star Saber then presented the teams via a device on his wrist.

Everyone took a moment to study the roster. And, one by one, they all moved towards their designated partners. Bakugo wasn't a big fan of being paired of with Aoyama, but he decided to put up with it.

"So…" Ryusei started. "Any volunteers to go first?"

All of the students stayed quiet. They were afraid to go up against Class 1-C. They just didn't know what to expect. Just then, a hand shot up. It was from Tsuyu.

"We'll go first." She called. "Tokoyami, you okay with that?"

Tokoyami nodded silently in agreement.

"Very well!" All Might smiled positively. "Asui and Tokoyami will move into the field. The rest of you follow All Might into the monitor room!"

Tsuyu and Tokoyami then entered the stage as the rest of the class followed All Might into the monitor room. Once Tsuyu and Tokoyami were inside, Star Saber walked over to tell their designated combat opponents to get into the field.
