So...
It's almost been a year, and I'm so sorry. I never meant for any of my stories to be put on hold for such a long time. I promise that I'm not abandoning anything, but I just needed to get my inspiration back for these stories. I'll hopefully be finishing Shattered soon, and then I'll go to work on some of my other stories, such as Two Worlds, One Family, and Memories of Frost, which, contrary to popular belief, I'm not abandoning. Thank you to everyone who's stuck with my stories, and I promise, now that my senior year is winding down, I'll get back on track and start publishing more chapters. I'll be finishing my stories that I have up right now before I start any new ones, but I promise I'll try to finish them soon.
Thank you again, and I hope you enjoy this new chapter!

Persy stood in the Poseidon cabin, preparing for the coming battle. She changed into a pair of black leggings, and a green long-sleeved shirt, putting her armor over her regular clothes, and she slipped into a pair of black combat boots. She strapped Riptide to her waist, along with a small dagger on the other side of her waist, and she tied her hair up into a bun, out of her face. She finished tying her armor around her wrist, and the door to the cabin opened, Jacob walking through. Persy smiled at her boyfriend as he walked over to her, kissing her cheek.
"You ready for this?" Jacob asked, taking her hand. Persy smiled at him, and squeezed his hand tightly. Jacob pulled her into his arms, hugging her tightly. The two took a moment, holding one another silently.
"We've got this." Persy replied softly. "I'm scared, Jake. I don't want to lose anyone." Jacob's arms tightened, and he leaned his chin on top of Persy's head.
"We've practiced, and we've gone over the worst-case scenarios. We can do it, angel." He reassured her gently, and Persy sighed heavily. She looked up and raised herself up on her toes, kissing Jacob firmly. He pressed a hand to her cheek, his touch warm and comforting.
"I love you, Jake." Persy whispered after stepping back, and Jacob grinned widely at her.
"I love you too, Persephone Jackson, and I always will." He replied, making Persy smile brightly. She took Jacob's hand again, and they walked out of the Poseidon cabin, the pack and Persy's family waiting for them. Persy nodded towards where the Cullens stood, having arrived the day before.
"Thanks again for coming so quickly." She said, and Alice smiled brightly at the younger woman.
"Of course!" she replied, and Persy smiled at her friends. She looked towards the hill, where she could see in the distance a cloud of dust, signaling that the army was approaching.
"If anyone is bitten by a vampire, bring them to the infirmary immediately. Apollo and Chiron will be waiting to help so no one is changed." Persy said, and the Cullens nodded. They would be the ones bringing bitten victims, since they were the fastest, and could sense when someone was bitten. "Alright. Let's go." Persy began to lead her friends towards the edge of camp. She smiled as she passed her father. The gods would be staying behind, protecting the camp and Olympus, and also healing injured demigods. The other demigods were gathered around the hill, scattered to provide defense. The wolves shifted, and spread out among the demigods, as did the Cullens. Persy, Leo, and Jacob stood at the top of the hill, and Leo immediately lit his hands on fire. Kronos' army appeared, filled with monsters, and pale-skinned, red-eyed vampires. Kronos himself led the army, holding his golden scythe.
"Oh gods." Thalia said, pressing a hand to her mouth as tears filled her eyes. Nico placed a hand on her shoulder firmly, staring at Kronos. Persy bit her lip, realizing what had made her cousin act in such a way. The Titan had taken a familiar form, the one he had taken before during their first battle.
"Thals, it's not him." Persy said, and Thalia looked back at her. "This is what he wants. He wants to throw us off. Luke's memory will not be tainted by him. His sacrifice won't be for nothing." Thalia nodded, her blue eyes hardening. Travis and Connor were also staring at Kronos, but their eyes were filled with anger at the disrespect to their brother's memory. Kronos' army stopped, leaving a gap of space between the two armies.
"Are you prepared to die, demigods?" Kronos asked.
"We will not yield to you, Kronos." Persy replied. "We will defend our home and the memory of Luke Castellan from you." Kronos laughed, a bone-chilling laugh that made some demigods wince.
"You see, Jackson, I am not a fool. These vampires will kill you all in a single second, draining every last drop of blood, making them stronger. You are not able to defeat us." Kronos said, and Persy took out Riptide, holding it tightly in her hand.
"We'll see, Titan." She spat. She raised Riptide, the sun glinting off the bronze blade. "ADVANCE!" the vampires, wolves, and demigods ran forward with a shout, the Cullens moving the fastest and beginning to rip apart monsters. Kronos' army began to attack, vampires launching themselves at the demigods, who, thanks to their armor, were mostly covered and safe. A moment later, Jasper ran up to Persy and Leo, tossing a pile of limbs in front of them before running back down to the fight. Leo threw balls of fire at the limbs into a pile of ash, keeping the fire going as the Cullens began to bring more limbs towards them. Jacob shifted, leaping at a hellhound, and wrestling with it. Persy lifted her sword to defend against a dracaena, and blocked their path to Leo. She and Jacob kept the son of Hephaestus safe, Leo himself throwing the occasional fireball at the monsters that approached their trio.
"Jackson is mine!' Kronos roared, disappearing in a flash, and reappearing in front of Persy, who rolled out of the way as he swung his scythe down. She stabbed the Titan in the back, only for him to bat her away, pushing her away from Leo.
"Sorry, buddy, but I'm already taken." Persy hissed, slashing Riptide down so that it would have sliced through Kronos' chest, but he blocked the attack with his scythe.
"How did it feel, daughter of Poseidon, to have your love ripped from you? To know it was never true?" Kronos taunted, but Persy simply smirked, dodging the hacking motions of the scythe. She was distracted momentarily by Edward and Rosalie running past her, each holding a camper under each arm. Kronos took her distraction as an advantage, managing a cut in her arm. Persy gasped in pain, clenching her hand tighter around Riptide as she glared at the Titan.
"You can't hurt me, Kronos. I don't care about that anymore." She replied, shaking herself. "You become numb to those sorts of things after you've found something better." Kronos scowled, attacking Persy once again.
"You always were too foolish. Loyalty is a dangerous flaw, Jackson, and it will get you killed." He snarled, and Persy laughed slightly, raising her hand and summoning a wave of water. She captured a group of monsters within the water, and increased the heat, much like she had done to the minotaur, until the monsters burst into golden dust. She saw Leo continuing the bonfire, slowly burning each vampire to ash, and Jacob protecting him, both with only minor injuries on their bodies.
"Loyalty is my fatal flaw, Kronos, but it is also my greatest drive. I will not see my family die because of some old deity's obsession with a group of kids." Persy replied, grinning in amusement. "Seriously, dude, you've got to get some help. Maybe get a girlfriend, or start a knitting club?" Kronos let out an angry shout, bringing his scythe down onto Persy, but she dodged, jumping onto the scythe before leaping into the air. A sea-green light encompassed her, and Persy felt strength surge through her, and Jacob and Leo both looked up to see her eyes and skin glowing sea-green, the smell of the ocean rolling off of her, and power filling the air around her.
"Poseidon's blessing." Emily said proudly from where she stood beside Thalia. Jacob grinned wolfishly, and Leo laughed. Nico and Thalia had happiness shining in their eyes for their cousin as she raised her arms, water surrounding the monsters, ripping them into golden dust. The Cullens took advantage of the remaining shell-shocked vampires, who had never seen anything like a godly blessing, and attacked from behind, Rosalie and Edward returning to their family as Bella and Alice ran the torn pieces to Leo, who finished burning the last of the vampires.
"I am a daughter of Poseidon, and an imprint of the Beta of the La Push wolf pack. I am a hero of Olympus, and I have been through Tartarus. You are nothing to me, Kronos, and you are insignificant compared to others I have battled against." Persy said, her calm voice ringing throughout the battlefield. Kronos narrowed his eyes, and he raised a hand, his eyes glowing gold as his scythe came towards Persy. She swung Riptide at the same time, and the two weapons met with a loud explosion, light blinding the remaining army, and making them fall to the ground. There was a moment of silence, and Jacob shifted back to human, looking around with wide eyes.
"Persy!" He shouted, running towards his imprint, who was lying unconscious on the ground. Thalia and Nico ran over as well, worry in their eyes. Jacob pulled Persy into his arms, looking her over. There were scratches on her face, and her shirt was ripped in places where her armor wasn't covering it. Riptide was beside her, and Persy's hair had fallen out of the bun. Kronos was nothing but a pile of armor and gold dust. Poseidon flashed in front of them, kneeling beside his daughter.
"Hades has gone to the Underworld to make sure the Doors are closed, and that the monsters and Kronos will not escape." Poseidon said, and Thalia smiled slightly. Nico reached into his pocket, and took out a small flask, pouring nectar into his cousin's mouth. Sam and Emily walked over as well, while the other demigods helped one another to stand and receive nectar and ambrosia from the Apollo cabin. Persy let out a cough, slowly opening her eyes.
"Dad? Jake?" she asked, looking around. Jacob grinned widely at her, hugging her tightly.
"You're amazing, angel." He said, and Persy grinned back at him. Poseidon helped her to stand, and kissed her forehead, hugging her.
"Well done, my daughter. I could not be prouder of you." He told her, and Persy flushed happily. Nico, Thalia, Sam, and Emily surrounded Persy, pulling her into a group hug which the other wolves and the rest of the Seven joined, making Persy laugh.
"Is everyone alright? Who got bit?" she asked, looking at the Cullens.
"A daughter and son of Hecate, a son of Ares, and Clarisse." Malcom said, approaching the group.
"Are they okay?" Persy asked, worry on her face.
"They'll be fine. Apollo and Chiron are giving them nectar and ambrosia, and Apollo made an anti-venom." Malcom replied with a small smile, placing a hand on the daughter of Poseidon's shoulder. "You were amazing, Persy."
"It wouldn't have been half as fast without the Cullens or the wolves. Are you all okay too?" Persy questioned, looking over the pack.
"Except for a couple minor cuts, we're all good, kid." Sam said, ruffling Persy's hair. She sighed in relief, and relaxed against Jacob as he pulled her close, his arm around her waist tightly.
"So clean-up now?" Piper asked.
"Let us handle the clean-up. You kids go get rest, and make sure that you're all taken care of. Persy, I recommend you call your mother and tell her you're alright." Poseidon said, smiling at his daughter. Persy smiled and nodded, walking back towards camp surrounded by her friends and family.
Well, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter.
I'm sorry it was so short, but please review! Your reviews do mean a lot to me, and they help me to keep going with my inspiration. I'll hopefully have the epilogue chapter up either today or tomorrow, as I'll start writing it as soon as this chapter is up.
See you soon wolves and demigods!
Love,
Enchantress
