Here is everything that happened over the summer.

Nathan went to High Flyers while Brooke and Aria stayed home. They are still going strong even with the distance. They face time every night. Aria is now 4 months old. Btw, before Nathan left they moved in with Deb to make things a little easier. Peyton broke up with Lucas after her mother died because she felt like he wasn't there for her. They remain friends. Jenny is 10 months old. Haley and Jake are okay. Also, there is a new guy in town and he has his eyes set on Brooke. How will Nathan take it when he returns? Will Peyton get back with Lucas?

Monday morning

Tree Hill High

With Haley & Jake

Jake: I don't think I can do this anymore.

Haley (laughing): School just started and its senior year.

Jake (serious): No, I mean us.

Haley: What?

Jake: I care about you a lot Hales. I'm just not in love with you. I feel like your heart is somewhere else. Lately we have been arguing and I feel like it's not worth it anymore. I still want to be friends. Haley ran away crying.

Brooke & Nathan

Brooke: I'm so glad you're back.

Nathan: Me too, I never want to be away from you or Ari ever again. He leans down and kisses her.

Brooke: well if you go pro… Haley runs up and tries to speak. Hales, I can't understand you.

Haley (crying): Jake just broke up with me.

Brooke: sweetie, what happened?

Nathan: I'll see you guys later. I'm going to find Luke.

Haley: I don't know. I mean we have been arguing a lot lately, but what couple doesn't. Then today he says our relationship isn't worth it anymore and that my heart isn't in it.

Brooke: He is a jerk. Don't let him get to you. Why would he think that? What did you guys argue about?

Haley (mumbles): Lucas

Brooke: oh.

Haley: Jake feels that there are still some feelings between us. I told him we are just friends, but he won't listen.

Brooke: is there something?

Haley: I don't know. I mean I care about him as my best friend. He was like the first guy I ever loved besides Nathan.

Brooke: well I say talk to Luke. See how he feels. Also, forget about Jake. Now lets get to class don't want to be late on the first day.

As they are walking to class they bump into someone.

Brooke: hey, watch where you are going?

Unknown: sorry gorgeous. He winks and walks away. Mouth you coming.

Mouth: yea. He runs after him. Hey, Felix I would go there if I were you.

Felix: well it's a good thing you're not me.

Mouth: I'm serious. That is Brooke Davis. She is the most popular girl in school.

Felix: that means she is easy. Most popular girls are.

Mouth: she has a kid. She is also engaged to the most popular guy in school. Nathan Scott. He points to where Nathan and Lucas are standing.

Felix: a challenge… I like a challenge. I'll be back. He walks up to the brothers.

They were talking about high flyers and Haley when Felix walked up.

Felix: hello.

Lucas & Nathan (Confused): Hi

Felix: you're Nathan right? He points to Lucas.

Lucas: no that would be him. He points to Nathan.

Felix: oh. Well I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Felix Tango. I just wanted to let you know you have a really hot girlfriend. What I would give to have a piece of that. Nathan was about to react but Luke held him back. Felix laughed and walked away.

Nathan: who the hell is that?

Lucas: I have no idea. Lets get to class before we are late.

At lunch in the courtyard

Felix walked by and winked at Brooke. She rolled her eyes.

Nathan: who the hell is that guy? I swear I'm going to kick his ass.

Brooke: no you won't mister. You have basketball to think about.

Nathan: I'm not going to sit here and watch someone flirt with you.

Brooke: he is just trying to get to you and you're letting him.

Nathan: Whatever.

Haley: Luke, can I talk to you for a second?

Lucas: sure. They get up and go into the school.

Haley: what's going on between us? I mean we broke up and started dating other people, but I feel like we still have something. I don't want to overthink things because I… Lucas kisses her. They start making out up against the locker.

Jake: Really! You couldn't even wait a day after we broke up to go running to him.

Before either Haley or Lucas could respond Jake storms away.

After School

Deb's House (Deb went to the Café)

Brooke and Haley were sitting in the living doing homework when Nathan and Lucas came in.

Brooke: I can't believe they gave us homework on the first day.

Haley (Laughing): yea and I can't believe your doing it.

Brooke: Hey! I need to keep my grades up if I want to go to Duke. So, what's going on between you and Luke? Brooke winks.

Haley: I have no idea what you are talking about.

Brooke: I heard about you two making out in the hallway and Jake catching you.

Haley (sighs): we were talking and then he just kissed me. I don't know what I'm doing.

Brooke: you're being a teenager. You will figure it out Hales. You are smart. If you want Luke go after him.

Haley: yea, but what if Peyton decides she wants him back?

Brooke: you fight for who/ what you love hales. If you want Luke tell him. If Peyton is able to get in the way then Luke isn't the one for you.

Haley: Thanks Brooke. I'll talk to him.

An hour later

Lucas and Nathan walk in. Lucas had a busted lip.

Brooke: What happened to you?

Nathan: Lucas and Jake got into a fight after practice. He walks over to where Aria is a picks her up.

Haley: Luke!

Lucas: He called you a whore and we just started fighting.

Brooke: How long did Whitey suspend you?

Lucas: One game.

Haley: come on lets get you cleaned up. They go off into the bathroom.

There was a knock at the door. Nathan went to go get the door with Aria in his arms. He opens the door and sees a guy and a girl standing there.

Nathan: What the hell do you want?!

Felix: Oh, this just got so much more interesting.

Girl: hi, I'm Anna and this is my brother Felix. We just moved in next door. Brooke comes to the door.

Felix (smiling): Hey gorgeous! Nathan hands Aria over to Brooke.

Nathan: Why are you here? Leave us alone! Come near Brooke again and I will gladly wipe that smile off your face. Nathan slams the door.

Haley & Lucas

Lucas: About earlier. I'm sorry I kissed you.

Haley: you don't have to be sorry. I kissed you back.

Lucas: I know. It's just I always have the right timing for things. As soon as you broke up with Nathan I told you I wanted to be with you. Then as soon as you and Jake ended things I'm shoving my tongue down your throat.

Haley(laughing): yea, your timing could be better. Look Luke I want to be with you its just Jake and I just broke up and then Peyton…

Lucas: she is out of the picture. I know she is the reason for my past break ups but I promise I'm done with her. All I want is you. Haley jumps up and kisses him. He sits her on the counter and they are making out until they hear the door slam.

Haley: what's going on?

Lucas: Let's find out. He grabs her hand and they walk out to find Brooke holding Aria trying to calm a very pissed Nathan down.

Haley: What's going on?

Nathan (yells): That jackass lives next door!

Brooke: Hey! Language!

Nathan: sorry.

Lucas: Whom are we talking about?

Brooke: Felix.

Haley& Lucas: oh.
