We've grown so much.

The morning was like any other. The birds chirped as the sun began to rise, and the animals began to slowly begin their morning schedules.

Except, the day was special to two specific people. A male and a female.

Yes, one of them was significantly younger than the other, but that didn't matter.

They were friends, and their bond had grown so much over the course of two years.

They'd had their ups and downs, of course, but they were still great friends nonetheless.

They relied on each other in hard times. They'd helped each other with many different projects.

Both were writers, who each wrote enticing stories of those willing to venture out beyond the fog.

And they helped each other.

No matter what.

This bond lasted for two years, and even today remains strong.

And the two were happy for it.

But, going back to where we began, the sun had just begun to rise. The two slowly awoke. The female awoke much faster than the male. She checked the calendar.

When she realized the date, she quickly jumped to her computer and quickly opened her Email. Typing up something quick, she pressed send, then began to awake for the day.

It would be an hour before the male read the message. He very quickly rose as well, waking himself up and getting dressed.

The two would run out the door almost simultaneously. To one certain place.

A small cafe, on the corner of a street in an urban area. The two lived in completely opposite areas; the male residing several blocks from the small shop and the female living outside the city. Ironically, however, the girl would arrive first.

The male arrived two minutes later and quickly sat down. He sat, and the two began their conversation.

This small shop was special to them.

They met here, two years ago.

Their conversation continued very late into the day. It was only sundown until the female realized the time. She had to leave, as it was almost dark.

The two exited the store as it closed. The sun began its descent, and a beautiful orange shadow cast over them. The male turned to the other.

And the two shared a hug. A very long one at that.

The male quickly removed himself from her embrace. He began to walk down the street to his home.

"Thank you for these wonderful two years, Robin." he spoke quickly.

"You're welcome, Thomas." she replied as she began to walk to her own home.

This story is dedicated to my friend GrovyleTheGreat, who I'm so thankful for. She's been my friend for two years as of today, and I can't ever thank her enough.

Thank you for all the memories, Robyn. Thank you so much.
