Daya was seating on a stone lost in his thoughts.
*Flashback Starts*
3years ago -
Before dareya's marriage it was shreya's birthday Daya came to shreya's room at 12am shreya was sleeping at that time.
Daya reached near shreya's bed and started caressing shreya's hair due to this sudden act of daya shreya woke up.
Shreya was about to scream but daya kept his hand on her mouth.
Shreya (shocked) - Daya aap yaha kya kar rahe hai vo bhi iss vaqt? Aapne to daraa hi diya tha!
Daya (in teasing tone) - CID officer hokar itna darrti ho!
Shreya (angrily glared him) - aap yaha kyu aaye hai?
Daya went near shreya cupped her face kissed on her forehead and said - apni jaan ko birthday wish karne aaya tha!
Shreya (while touching her head) - aree haa Mai to bhul hi gai thi!
Daya (holded her hand) - Mai hu na yaad dilane ke liye! Happy Birthday Love.
Shreya happily hugged Daya and said - Thank you so much Daya!
Daya removed a box from his pocket and handed over to shreya!
Shreya (confused) - ye kya hai daya?
Daya - khud hi dekh lo!
Shreya opened the box. It was a beautiful pair of diamond earrings!
Shreya (happily) - wowww Daya! It is beautiful. Thank you so much.
Daya (held her hand) and said in a teasing tone - sirf thank you se kaam nahi chalega madam!
Shreya - achaa to kya chahiye aapko?
Daya - Kuch special!
Shreya Smiled and sealed his lips with hers.
*flashback ends*
Daya spent the whole night on the beach.
Next evening-
Deepak arranged a birthday party for shreya Shreya was wearing a beautifull blue color Saree and was looking pretty but her eyes was dull because she didn't slept the last night same was the case with our daya!
As usual shreya and daya was pretending to be a happy couple in front of guests and deepak.
After party got over.
In dareya room - Daya brought a gift for shreya.
Daya - Happy Birthday Shreya! Ye gift tumhare liye.
Shreya (without looking at him) - aapka gift nahi chahiye mujhe daya! Aap already mujhe meri life ka sabse bada gift de chuke hai vahi kaafi hai!
Daya went near her held her hand and placed the gift box on her hand.
But she angrily throw the gift away and said - himmat kaise hui aapki mujhe haath bhi lagane ki daya! Durr raho mujhse please. (and she went to her bed)
But someone heard all their conversation.
Daya was very hurt by her behaviour. He left the room with tears but when he opened the room's door he was shocked to see abhijeet there!
Daya (shockingly) - abhi tum yaha ?
Abhijeet held her hand and took him out of the house!
Abhijeet (angrily) - kya chupa raha hai tu mujhse Daya?
Daya (turned his face to the other side) - Mai tumse kyu kuch chupaunga abhijeet!
Abhijeet - jhuth mat bol daya! Mene teri aur shreya ki baate Sun li thi. Tum dono ke bich koi to problem hai.
Daya - nahi abhijeet aisi koi baat nahi hai! Mere aur shreya ke bich sab kuch thik hai.
Abhijeet (placed daya's hand on his head) - tujhe meri kasam hai daya sach sach bata?
Daya couldn't lie to his best friend anymore it was enough for him. He hugged abhijeet tightly.
Abhijeet patted her back and said - please bol daya kya hua hai?
Daya broke the hug and he narrated the whole story to abhijeet with tears!
Abhijeet was shocked to hear this!
Abhijeet - ye tu kya bol raha hai daya? Shreya aisa soch bhi kaise sakti hai? Mujhe tujh par pura bharosa hai tu kabhi aisa kuch nahi kar sakta!
Daya - shreya ki koi galti nahi hai abhijeet! Agar Mai usski jagah hota to shayad Mai bhi aise hi react karta!
Abhijeet - lekin daya! Mujhe ek baat samajh nahi aayi ye purvi vaha kya kar rahi thi? Kahi ye sab purvi ne to nahi kiya tum dono ko alag karne ke liye!
Daya - abhijeet purvi aisa kyu karegi? Usse kya milega ye sab karke?
Abhijeet - Daya purvi bahut hurt thi jab tumhara aur usska breakup hua tha! shayad ussne ye sab badla lene ke liye kiya ho! Tum ek baat batao uss din exactly hua kya tha?
Daya - mujhe ek ladki ka call aaya tha ussne kaha usse meri help ki jarurat hai! Ussne mujhe ussi hotel mai bulaya tha milne. Mai hotel pahucha! Usske baad kya hua mujhe kuch bhi yaad nahi!
Abhijeet ( biting his lips) - achaa! Thik hai Mai pata lagata hu iss baare Mai! Ab tu so jaa jaake.
Kal milte hai.
And abhijeet went.
