Vince embraced Harry, and when the man's scent hit his nostrils he couldn't stop the fleeting hint of desire that rushed through him.

"Good to see you Vince, you look good mate. The beard is hot!" Vince blushed and looked down at his scuffed shoes. "You look pretty good yourself Harry."

The man winked at him and threw an arm around his shoulder without hesitation Vince put his own around Harry's waist leaning into him, relishing in the feel of the way their bodies got together perfectly. Even though they kept everything platonic now, there was still chemistry between them.

Harry had recently started dating Luna Lovegood, and they were quite smitten with each other, and he was happy for him. He led him over to her and they parted long enough for Vince to embrace the petite blonde. A wide easy smile crossed her face and she pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek. "Vincent you are looking well."

Before he could answer however Minerva strolled in the teachers entrance and took a stance in front of the podium, indicating she had something to announce. So Vince and Harry sat slowly in unison at the bench closest to them, Luna cuddled up against Harry's other side.

"First and foremost I would like to say thank you to all of you for taking the time to come here and participate in the First and hopefully annual War Orphans Summer Camp." Tears glistened in the matronly woman's eyes as her eyes found Harry's, you could clearly see the pain and guilt she felt over his parents death and his resulting incarceration with the Sure let's.

"The children will be arriving tomorrow, as you all know. Most of our counselors will reside in the Hufflepuff Dormitories, and I have chosen at random the two counselors for each the girls and boys groups."

Hufflepuff dorms is a good choice, at least I won't have to go far for a cuppa whenever the nightmares keep me awake, Vince thought. But that train was soon derailed as McGonagall announced the pairings.

"Gregory and Vincent you will both reside in your old common room with the young men, and Hermione and Pansy will take up in Gryffindor tower with the young ladies." Even as horror struck through Vince at the thought of being forced to share space with the one person he had hoped to not even have to talk to, he couldn't help but start and mull over how strange is felt for McGonagall to call him by his first name…Did that mean he should refer to her as Minerva from now on? Perhaps Minnie would be a better choice.

He couldn't stop his mouth from quirking into a smile at the thought. She had been so intimidating when he was younger, but now as he gazed upon her he couldn't stop the soft tender feeling the stirred in his heart. The same feeling he got whenever he met with his Great Grandmother Nicoletta Strapponi on his mother's side.

He hasn't realized exactly how far his mind had wandered from the present until he felt Harry increase the soft pressure of the arm he still had around his shoulder.

He grinned sheepishly into those beautiful emerald eyes, "Sorry mate, my mind got away from me." The grin was returned, a soft knowing look in his eyes. "Okay?" Vince nodded, gathering what little courage he possessed. "I'll be fine. Guess we better head that way."

With another quick hug shares between the two men and Luna, Vince turned and strode from the hall, Gregory was no where I'm sight.
