"Hiei stay hidden," Yukina begged as she held the phone in her hand.
In desperation, Hiei tried to get any kind of energy into his eye. If only he could see where Joji was. I'm sure as hell never going to run away from a fight! he told himself. He peaked around the corner from inside of the room and saw puppet Genkai looking for them outside. "She's coming," he whispered.
"Kurama!" Yukina whispered, "Genkai's under Joji's control and we can't find him anywhere."
"We'll be there as fast as we can," Kurama said through the phone, "stay put and don't let Hiei fight!"
Yukina hung up and asked, "Did you hear that?"
"Of course I did," he replied, pulling out his sword again. I might have to die in order to protect Yukina, he thought to himself aminously. No flame powers coupled with the fact that he could barely fight long enough before getting tired meant death could be imminent.
"Found you!" Genkai shouted and leveled for another spirit gun.
Hiei cut through the door and pulled Yukina away from the building just as Genkai leveled it in an instant. "What the hell!" Yusuke shouted. He jumped off of Botan's ore from above. Kuwabara and Kurama followed.
"Yukina!" Kuwabara shouted, "Are you okay?"
"What's wrong with Genkai?" Yusuke asked.
"Joji's around here somewhere," Kurama replied, "I can smell him." He pulled out his rose whip and cut down the trees to the left of him.
Genkai said, "I shouldn't have controlled an old woman like this, she's so weak!" Then she collapsed to the ground as he stopped controlling her.
Botan said from above, "He's over there! I see something!" She pointed to the trees that Kurama just cut down.
A demon with pale skin, tatoos, and long white hair appeared from the treeline. "What do we have here?" he asked, "A human woman, a demon, hey you're a mazuku like me! I can feel it." He pointed to Yusuke.
"Shut up," he replied, "I'm nothing like you."
"You," Joji pointed to Kurama, "your energy is familiar. Do I know you?"
Kurama glared at him. "We never became aquainted in person which means you know exactly who I am."
"Right," he replied, "I heard the great spirit fox of demon world, Yoko Kurama, got tied up in a bounty hunter and fled to human world. I never thought I'd get to meet him in person." He looked at everyone else. "What a bunch of freaks. You're a human boy, and you-you're a fire demon with a jagan eye!"
Kurama stepped in front of Hiei and demanded, "What do you want with us?"
Joji looked at his arm an said, "Possessing a demon, that takes some skill, I can't control them as easily. After centuries of being in prison my energy isn't as strong as it used to be. Hold on."
A heartbeat came out of Hiei just then and he couldn't move. With his last ounce of strength he pushed Yukina away from himself and said, "Leave!" His soul burned as he felt another essence within him.
"Hiei!" Kurama shouted, "Fight it!" Joji's body collapsed to the ground as he possessed Hiei.
Hiei said, "He's not in here anymore. What the hell? This demon doesn't have any demon energy in him." He looked down at his sword. "He's so weak he can barely lift his own sword. This won't do."
"Get out of his body, now!" Yusuke shouted as he leveled a spirit gun.
"Don't!" Kurama said, grabbing his arm, "You'll kill Hiei."
Hiei looked at all of them and said, "This body won't do at all." He looked at Yukina.
She took a few steps back nervously but couldn't move after Hiei started to glare at her. Joji left Hiei's body and entered hers. Hiei fell to the ground as Yukina started laughing. "Wow, I haven't been in a woman's body in years!"
"You get out of Yukina right now!" Kuwabara demaned. He congured his spirit sword.
"If you cut me, you'll cut the girl," she replied, "You," she looked at Kuwabara, "you'll make a good puppet." Then she looked at the rest of them, "No," she looked at Kurama, "you're a human now so I can make you a puppet as well."
Kurama fell to his knees and clutched his head. "Kurama!" Yusuke shouted, "Don't let him get in your head!"
Yukina said, "Too late for that now! Join me Yoko Kurama." Kurama stood up, a glazed over look in his eyes. Yukina walked over to Joji's body and forced Kurama to walk over to her.
"Get your ass back here!" Yusuke shouted.
She turned around and shot icicles at him. Several punctured both Yusuke and Kuwabara, and Hiei on the ground. Then she teleported out of there with Kurama and Joji's body.
"Son of a bitch," Yusuke said, "he's got Kurama and Yukina, and Hiei's down for the count."
"That bastard took Yukina!" Kuwabara shouted.
"I just said that," Yusuke replied. He walked over to Hiei and pulled the ice out of his side. "He's hurt, bad."
"What just happened?" Genkai asked as she stood up, holding her head.
Botan came back to the ground and said, "Hiei! He's bleeding."
Genkai exclaimed, "My temple!"
"You mean you don't remember what you just did?" Kuwabara asked, "You just blasted everything to smitherines under that Joji guy's control." She looked in horror at herself and the temple that was now almost completely destroyed.
