A cosy idyll and safely off the beaten track, sat a small single-story house with a whitewash picket fence surrounding it. The house had a stunning backdrop of crop fields and forests in the far distance. Utterly breathtaking.

Pixal was sitting on the porch swing, in the tight arms of Zane. The bright high summer sun was beaming down on the lovestruck pair as she embraced her on-off boyfriend.

Again simply smitten with her, the android male could not get enough. He soaked up her affections, adored her company, thoroughly enjoyed her deep and intriguing conversing.

For Lloyd, it was quite odd to observe the pair of lovebirds becoming as close as they were. It was just like watching Jay and Nya. The closeness and how gentle they had been. The only difference; Jay had been fiercely protective of Nya before all this had kicked off; probably still was. He had been at her beck and call, all hours. Lloyd thought it quite odd really. In fact, she had been the cause of the fight and flight, to begin with. They had all been training at the monastery. Paired up with each other, toning and generally pushing past their limits. Lloyd had been teasing her playfully, sparring. It wasn't his fault that her attention wasn't on the game, and he had landed a punch, right to her midsection. He hadn't expected all hell to break loose when Jay launched at him, still wasn't sure why Jay had done that...

But, turning his attention back to them; these two, they were different, gentle and not jealous at all. Not to mention, it was intriguing at times, though Lloyd felt like he was intruding on their private moments, it wasn't like the 20-year-old could get away from it either.

Zane was so gentle when he placed his lips atop hers. His android skin moved just as hers did. Their tongues, slick, pushing into and exploring each others' mouths. Again, educational in a way. He wasn't sure what to expect, not after watching the Terminator movie. How would two androids know how much pressure to exert upon the opposite sex without metal endoskeleton clashing violently or tearing skin?

At one point they got too carried away and Lloyd excused himself to go and play on the hardly ever used dusty Atari games console in the box room. It was never a fast thing though, it meant that Lloyd could start and finish an entire game of Pac Man, Chuckie Egg and Space Invaders before Zane would walk back in with an extremely happy smile. More erring on a smug grin, looking like the cat who had got the cream. Not that Lloyd was jealous or anything.

Much...

"Did you speak to her this time?" He asked, his pale face drawn into a concentrated stare as he steered his space vessel to avoid the downpouring of proton beams from the mother ship. "About travelling further?" Not that time was an issue, his thigh was healed, the sutures had been removed a little over a few weeks ago.

He was going out of his mind with boredom. Because Zane had been putting off the whole 'we need to travel further afield' schpiel. Which is why they had been here fore getting on for three weeks. It wasn't like Pixal was busy either, she was on an extended vacation.

"We made a decision-" Zane nodded, smiling nervously. Not entirely sure how well this news would be taken because Lloyd had his back to him. "Pixie, has agreed to come with us. We leave tomorrow, for Luna Bay..."

Lloyd nodded, from what time they had spent in Santa Carla, he knew Luna Beach to be the next resort up. This meant he could get to see the Frog Brothers, he hadn't seen nor heard from them in an age. "Right, I'll start packing after I've finished this then."

It would take minutes to pack. It wasn't like packing up from a holiday as neither had bought substantial luggage with them, they had come with the clothes on their back. Pixal had taken pity on the pair and had taken them clothes shopping. At least they had a few changes of attire now, rather than just bloodied up garb.

Lloyd's clean clothes were in a plastic bag, folded to perfection thanks to Zane. Even his smalls and other such snicker socks, they had all been pressed.

Zane, the love machine took care of Pixie, he knew her intimately. In fact, it was almost as if he had thoroughly read and devoured her blueprints, specifically focussing on the pleasure parts of her bodily workings. It had worked to his advantages though. He had managed to talk her into taking a seaside trek and so that's where they were now en route.

Lloyd was again, sitting in the back. Pixie had her head resting on Zane's shoulder and the pair were singing a ditty as they drove down the coastal road to Luna Bay.

There was something comforting about this setup. Sadly, it reminded him of Jay and Nya too.

Least they were together now, all living in one huge house, with Cole and Kai.

The turncoats...

A whole nest of damned vampires.
